what is the most difficult or tedious part of worldbuilding for you? Have you developed any strategies to get over it?

I suck at naming things.
 
I also suck at naming things. I sometimes get around this by being a lazy shit, picking a language to use as a base for names for a particular culture, and then just pick fitting words to name whatever and tweak them a bit so they're not immediately recognizable as real words. Other times I just agonize over it for ages.

I have a lot of problems with making maps, but luckily this has been largely solved by finding awesome map generators through threads here in the Worldbuilding Guild.
