The Beyond Regular Headquarters. Where your character now resides. The outside may look over-the-top and majestic to some, but the inside is the same way. When you first walk up, you may notice the small cameras posted everywhere, along with people crouching behind boulders, darting around corners, or the occasional changed Beast or Mind Type moving in the corners of your eyes. They weren't noticable to everyone though, and most missed how there was literally a graveyard outside of the marked zone. The marked zone was marked by red strips of cloth wrapped around stakes stuck in the ground. Not really hard to miss. Once inside the HQ, the change from dusty to tech was almost enough to make some people think they walked through a portal. But that would be silly, cause the only portals in the HQ were on the third floor, and the lobby was on the first floor. Below the lobby, there were three floors, above the lobby, there were about...twenty?(no one bothered to count-theres just a lot) floors.

Starting with the lowest floor(-3), that was where enemies were brought and the interrogation rooms were. Not the place for newbies such as your character, and a high level of clearance was needed. The second lowest floor(-2) was one of the weapon floors in the HQ. Just your normal everyday floor filled with weapons that had almost all been used to kill something. Standard. The floor closest to ground level was a housing floor for all of the newbies, literally a floor filled with untrained Minds, Beasts, Natures, and Others; what could go wrong? Lots. And thats why they were seperated into different groups. Each room on the -1 floor was made to hold 4 people, one of each Type. If they proved that they couldn't get along, they were moved to a different group, and on and on. A lot of moving occurs. On the ground level(0), it's just where people who are visiting are placed. The food hall is on this floor, along with several meeting rooms, a tech center, and one of the many training rooms. A lot of activity happens on this floor, so don't stand still for too long, you're gonna get knocked over if you do. Going up, it's alternating floors of increasingly higher powered training rooms, tech centers, and other Types. Newbies aren't allowed above the 3rd floor, and beyond the 38th floor is forbidden to all but those on Luchis' level of security which is...almost nobody.

Behind the giant building, there are several training spots, sparring spots, practicing spots, relaxing spots, and a lot of other spots. The buildings built into the nearby cliffs and giant piles of rocks are where they experiment with the different types of armour, weapons, cars, helicopters-you name it, they're probably working on it. Some of the buildings do house the Normals that signed a contract and work at the BR-HQ.

Background

theme anime: Anime City Background Hd

The first Morethans appeared around 2003. Currently, it is 2094. Technology has improved greatly, and many daily things are now done with technology. People have 'holo-screens', 'holo-glasses', or 'holo-suits'. These are just normal. Everyone has one, except for those who live in the 'old' places. Places such as forests, towns, traditional villages. But those are few and far in-between. Back when the Morethans started to appear, people feared them, after all, whoever doesn't fear the unknown is an utter fool. The unknown may harm or kill you in the most painful way possible. But more and more people started to show signs of being a Morethan, and so the general population just accepted them. The terms 'Mind', 'Beast', 'Nature', and 'Other' became common words used in everyday life. The Morethans almost always teamed up, in groups no less then 3, and growing as large as 20-30 people. There really wasn't a limit to how many people could be in a group.

There were three main jobs, Support, Tank, or Forwarder. An equally important, yet less recognized job was Informant, those who stayed behind and kept an eye on everything happening, picking up small clues and reviewing footage. We already have enough Informants, and the training at BR-HQ is meant for those who have strong powers and aren't afraid to fight. Anyways, back to the topic. Supports are those who are the healers, the backbone of the team. They are in charge of healing their comrades when they get hurt and helping when they can in battle. People think that only girls become Supports, but men are known to also be Supports. Don't be sexist people. Tanks are exactly what it sounds like. They deal heavy damage, but also pick up heavy blows, taking the brunt of the damage for their team. Without a tank, most teams end up falling apart(so don't be shy to beome a tank), and the tanks are almost always a Beast Type. Their reaction time isn't the greatest, but it's still way better then Normals. Forwarders are the faster, more agile ones of the team, the ones who sneak into battles with a dozen tricks up their sleeve-or not, depending on the outfit. They carry lighter weapons, but also heavier one, all based on how well they can handle it. Those with the ability to Change form are usually a Tank or Forwarder.

Abilities are flaunted in schools at young ages, the stronger ones either beoming the kings or queens of the school, or becoming the ones who defend the weaker. Normals and Morethans all go to the same schools, except when a private Morethan-only school is added to the equation. Until you reach adult-hood, it's really just a struggle for power. Those who are stronger rise on top and those who are weaker do what the more powerful say. Every. Single. Day. Abilities can be passed on through generations, and many of the families who have strong Morethan blood tend to hold more power in society.

Note: Powers can manifest in any way, and animal parts are not uncommon. Horns, tails, ears, wings, etc. can all be on a person from birth. Having these extra parts doesn't mean that you'll have powers, so it's perfectly normal for Normals looking like a Morethan.
