With electricity still jumping from his mouth, sparks flying which way and that, Electric had his eyes trained on the Vigoroth, his eyes narrowed as he took notice of how the noise the Pokemon was making from the quick movement of his arms were getting louder and louder as the two continued to get closer and closer together. Electric's legs carried him as fast as they could, the limbs all but a whir in the moment, almost just as how Vigoroth's arms were as he swung them around. The two Pokemon grunted, mere feet away from each other, before Electric jumped, rising his body over the head of the taller, much bigger normal type before landing right behind him, smirking. "Good one, Electric, now go!" The electric type quickly nodded his head and lunged, again, at the bigger Pokemon before it had a chance to completely shift its body around to face him again. His paws tapped on the back of the Pokemon's neck before he thrust his face forward, catching the scruff of Vigoroth's neck within his electrically charged bite, the sparks from the attack now shooting out, as well as shocking the Vigoroth.

Max couldn't help but grin and look over for a quick second to see that the Swablu had been taking down, effectively angering the girl on the other side of the battle field. "Nice one, Julia," she commented before turning her attention back to Electric, watching as he continued to hold a firm grip on the Pokemon, despite the fact that the Vigoroth was beginning to thrash around. Obviously the man, having been angered not only by the fact that his girlfriend was upset about her Pokemon being taken down but also for the fact that his Pokemon's attack hadn't landed like he hoped, was becoming more frustrated than anything now and had commanded the normal type to do anything to get Electric off his back, which indeed it did.

It soon came too much, and as Electric's grip loosened on the Pokemon he was flung back to the other side of the field, skidding to a halt while staying on his side. "Electric!" Upon hearing his name called, Electric stood up, shaking himself before he looked back over to the other side of the field, finally taking notice of the fact that there was now two new Pokemon on the field, one on there side and one on the other. Vigoroth, much to his and Max's discomfort, didn't seemed to have been all that effected by his thunder fang, probably only haven taken a little damage by the attack.

"Damn..." Gritting her teeth, Max thought about what to do, figuring that their two opponents were worked up enough now. It made her wonder how they did under pressure like this, but pushing the thought aside she shook her head and took a quick glance at the Vulpix that had entered into the battle, tilting her head at the sight before blinking. Hopefully they'd be able to hold their own... Her mind was snapped back to the battle when she heard the man shout something, commanding the Vigoroth to use Fury Swipes again. The Pokemon started to swing his arms again, moving quickly back over to his opponents.

A bright red light was emitted from the Pokeball, forming the shape of a Vulpix before the Pokemon solidified into the small brown fox type already in her battling stance. The Roselia was just being given an order - Magical Leaf - and the Vigoroth was already beginning its next attack, another bout of Fury Swipes, its arms starting to swing rapidly and move towards the Electrike and Vulpix. The Electric type had landed a good attack but it didn't seem to affect the Vigoroth much. It was slightly discouraging to witness but Julia had faith in her team and in Max's.

"Fire Spin!" The trainer yelled, the Vulpix immediately opening her mouth, her inside glowing with internal, building flame. The sharp, flying leaves were now too close to stop them all and the Vulpix sustained weak damage from the Grass attack. Her fire was soon ready and she sent out a hurricane of flames that widely spun towards the opposing team, brushing closely to the Vigoroth and leaving a Burn before billowing over to the Roselia after some ambling. The Roselia accepted the damage with only a poor dodge but wasn't affected as much as Julia had hoped from the attack. It must have been at a higher level than she originally suspected. The man and his girlfriend and other battle plans now though and had the Roselia concentrate its Giga Drain on Electric, with the Vigoroth being ordered to Fury Swipe at Mononoke, wisely deciding not to attack with type disadvantage. Julia had anticipated as much when she brought Mononoke out. A little tense, Julia shouted her next battle command to Mononoke, "Confuse Ray!" The Vulpix braced itself, concentrating, before executing the attack, a bright ray of purples, black, and blues towards the Vigoroth, landing on the the target and instantly being absorbed. The Normal type's eyes quickly glazed over, the pupils dilated, and the Pokemon began to move in a haphazard manner. Across the makeshift battle ground the Vigoroth's trainer could be heard cursing in frustration. Julia could only smile, knowing how terrible it was to have your Pokemon suffering from Confusion and loving that he was experiencing it. "Vigoroth snap out of it!" He yelled to his Pokemon whose stat did not change in the slightest, still ambling with swirling arms, one flailing out of control and hitting itself in the face.

"Use Slash!" The man could be heard yelling, his voice on edge. This command must have been given during a brief moment of clarity because the Normal type obeyed, quickly moving towards the Vulpix with large, thick claws with razor sharp ends poised to reign down upon the small fire fox Pokemon. But it was becoming a little more obvious that it was damaged, the attacks adding up enough to show something for it. The Burn was especially helpful and Julia took note of it. "The Vigoroth is getting a little weaker, it looks," she told Max, her hands balled into fists from the anxiety that came with battles. "Let loose some Embers!" She called out to her Pokemon, the Fire type blowing embers at the rapidly approaching Vigoroth who took the flames easily as it continued to run through, hitting Mononoke before she had time to dodge after her attack.

The Vulpix was shot back from the force of the attack but got back onto her feet quickly, resuming her Ember attacks towards the Vigorothwho seemed to be back to suffering from Confusion again. "Goddammit Vigoroth, use Uproar!" The trainer could be heard in the background, his Pokemon looking around in a hazy fury.

Max grit her teeth at the sight of the Roselia hardly being effected by the fire spin, a type advantage attack. That either meant that the grass type must either be at a higher level then the Vulpix, or the opposing Pokemon just had great defense. She couldn't be too sure, but nevertheless Max knew that the woman probably spent more time training the Roselia than she did the Swablu.

"Brace yourself, Electric." She spoke, watching as the Vigoroth continued towards them. Electric crouched down a bit, baring his teeth as he waited for the normal type to come at them again so that he could, hopefully, evade the attack like he had before. In a way, doing that would seem more like the strategy he and his trainer continued on using with any other battles; he was the Pokemon to wear the opponent out. With his quick movements and his small body he was able to get away from most attacks, and with doing that they usually demotivated their opponents or threw them off. That in itself would prove to be better on Max's side because once Electric would do his job she would usually send out another one of her Pokemon, unless Electric refused to come out of the battle, like he has a couple of times in the past, but usually they stuck to their plan. In a double battle though with a partner? She figured that that might not be the best plan of action.

Max blinked her eyes at the sight of Vigoroth becoming confused, his flailing arms beginning to hit his own self, after pulling herself out of her thoughts. She smirked at the sight, but listened to Julia as she spoke, nodding her head as she watched the panting that emitted from the normal type. The burn was beginning to take an effect on the Pokemon, and she was sure that with a few more attacks the Pokemon would be taken down.

It wasn't until then, though, that she realized the Roselia was targeting Electric. The woman before them commanded the Pokemon to let loose the attack, streams of green orbs with little lights following behind it. "Electric, watch out!" The electric type blinked, watching as the Giga Drain was coming his way before he tried to move out the way, the attack wrapping around his legs before he had a chance to get out of the way. He groaned in pain as his energy was sucked away, his power beginning to weaken as the source of his energy was being sucked away. When all was over Electric fell to the ground, grunting as he tried his best to stand up. He snorted, his legs trembling from the super effective attack that obviously took a lot out of him. "Electric, come back!" She knew her Pokmeon would't be able to last, and she wasn't about to put him through any of that.

Surprisingly, he actually listened to her and walked back to her side, falling to the ground shortly after though he looked up at his trainer to give her a reassuring glance. She desperately wanted to get him in his Pokeball, but she knew that he wouldn't go, even in this state; he would just find a way to get out of it, and still to this day she had no idea as to why he never wanted to go in there. She didn't argue with him about it, though, and instead just gave him a nod in response before reaching in her bag to pull out a Pokeball. "All right, your turn. Go, Poochyena!"

The Pokeball opened, and after the red light began to fade a black ball of fur came out before the Pokemon shook herself, the hair on the back of her body standing on edge. The dark type barked before looking over at her opponents, her eyes narrowing as she got into a defensive position. "Poochyena, use bite!" Max pointed towards the Roselia, and upon hearing the command Poochyena jumped into action, charging towards the grass type with her mouth wide open.

Julia was wholly surprised at Max's first choice Pokemon being nearly wiped out by the Giga Drain attack, almost positive he had a type advantage that cut down the severity of the blow. But either the Roselia's special attack was really high or Electric's defense was lower than Julia had initially guessed; she couldn't be sure either way. With him out of the game - thankfully without fainting - Max sent out the Pokemon she had caught in Hoenn, the Poochyena. When she emerged from her Pokeball the pierced trainer noticed that the grey and black Pokemon also strongly represented a canine of some sort. There must be even more out there, Julia thought to herself, taking in the sight of the new Pokemon briefly before turning her attention back to the battle at hand.

With the Poochyena hounding after the Roselia with a sturdy bite attack Julia turned her attention to the still confused Vigoroth, the Normal type hitting itself again in its confusion, struggling with itself to heed its trainer's orders, the man now cherry red in the face, stamping his foot loudly. "Quick Attack Mononoke!" Julia called out to her Vulpix, hoping the fox Pokemon could land a well placed and quickly left blow before fleeing to safety. The Fire type barked out in response, rapidly moving towards the thrashing Vigoroth in a flash of brown as she got closer. The larger Pokemon could be seen sharply tilted to one side suddenly, the Vulpix then returning some yards away, circling the confused Pokemon still who then was granted a moment of clarity, causing an Uproar with a mighty bellow that forced Mononoke back and dealt some damage, the attack also affecting the Poochyena and causing Julia ears to pop. Julia, nervous with this strange attack she wasn't familiar with, had her nails digging into her the palms of her hand as she watched the battle continue to develop, her lip being bit by her teeth in tension. She watched as the Vigoroth prepared again, her Vulpix landing another Quick Attack at her command before their opponent started up again, Julia noticing that the last Uproar of his had dealt more damage than the first. "Hang in there Mononoke!" She hollered reassuringly, not having any idea how long the Uproar attack was going to last. It was possible this was the last, but Julia also knew some attacks went up to five times in a row. Hopefully this wasn't one of them.

"Quick Attack again and then Fire Spin after this one!" She told her Fire type Pokemon, Mononoke nodding in understanding before training her eyes back onto the Vigoroth who stopped mid-preparation of his attack and began to attack himself, his state now much weaker than when the battle first started. Its burn had eaten away at its health the entire time it had been attacking, the damage dealt by the burn plus Mononoke's Quick Attacks greatly outdid the damage down by his Uproars. Still Mononoke was under half her health now - the man was a pompous asshole for sure, but his Vigoroth was a fairly tough Pokemon, although Julia couldn't quite give the man full credit. The Vigoroth had seemed from the beginning very devoted to going all out and pleasing its trainer, although it definitely wasn't right now, close to fainting and just now snapping out of Confusion.

"Quickly, Fire Spin!" Julia called, jumping on the opportunity to knock out the Vigoroth before it had the chance to do any more damage. The Normal type readied itself for a move Julia didn't hear the man call out, the fiery attack she had called out crackling loudly as it spun across the mock battle ground, making collision with the Vigoroth who emerged from the flames still standing but nearly out. "It must've used Endure," Julia whispered, more to herself than anyone else. "Mononoke, Faint Attack, now!" She yelled, her voice turning raspy in her tension, even though she knew Faint Attack never missed. The man had ordered another Slash attack from his Vigoroth, the larger Pokemon making its way towards the now vanishing Vulpix who materialised as a force against the Vigoroth, finally forcing the Pokemon to collapse and faint, its trainer returning the Pokemon to its Pokeball with a shaky hand of rage, his girlfriend putting a soft hand on his shoulder in reassurance. His other hand tightly grabbed the next Pokeball at his belt, throwing it out with one screamed command: "FINISH THEM!"

From the emitted red light came the silhouette of a hovering, buzzing Pokemon with large eyes. Julia wasn't entirely sure, but she had heard of a Bug type Pokemon in Hoenn named Ninjask that had a very odd way of evolving. She didn't know anything else about the Pokemon itself, something she was a little nervous about, but Mononoke did have a type advantage which soothed her some. Her and Max would still win, definitely.

"Ember, Mononoke!" Julia ordered, the man directing his Flying Pokemon to use Bug Bite on Mononoke.

((So sorry it's been a while since I've replied back! I've just been caught up with school and everything. And I kind of had really bad writers block for this... But the muse it back now! Again, really sorry.))

Max watched as her dark type Pokemon continued to charge towards the grass type, a confused look crossing her features when she caught notice of the small, quick smirk that crossed the girlfriend's face before she quickly let the expression fall. Max furrowed her brows as she blinked, soon the loud, screeching noise of the Uproar entering into her ears, as well as Poochyena's. The move made Poochyena stop, her paws nearly tripping over one another as she stopped herself, her mouth closing up as she bent her head down as she sounds continued to fill her ears. A small whimper could be heard from her mouth as she tried her best to block out the noise, to no avail though, and Max herself seemed to be making the same noise as she clasped the palm of her hands over her ears.

She wasn't familiar with this move, and had no doubt that this was a move that Pokemon learned in the Hoenn region, or the Pokemon from that region learned that move. It didn't really matter in her mind though. When the noise finally stopped, the uproar coming to a stop, hopefully, Max looked up. "Poochyena, use bite again!" The dark type nodded her head narrowed her eyes back at the grass Pokemon, her legs quivering as she readied herself before she flung herself back at the Roselia, who too was starting to use the attack that it's trainer had commanded it to do: magical leaf.

Poochyena jumped, trying to get out of the way of the flying, colorful leaves that flew towards her, but to no avail. The leaves followed her movements, an attack that couldn't miss, and sliced their way across Poochyena's body. She grunted, but otherwise seemed fine from the attack and continued on her way with her bite, her jaws locking around the Pokemon quickly. Max smirked, watching as Poochyena took hold of the grass type before quickly letting go, flinging the Pokemon to the side shortly after. "Nice job, Poochyena." The dark type snorted, watching as Roeslia stood itself back up after shaking itself off.

Max looked to the other side of the little battle field they were using, smiling as Mononoke took down the Vigoroth. "Good one," she muttered under hr breath as she watched another Pokemon being sent on the field, a bug type it seemed to be. She frowned at the sight, trying to remember whether or not she had seen something like that when she went to the Hoenn region, but couldn't finding herself remembering anything like that. She pushed the thought aside for the time being with the shake of her head and turned back to Poochyena, becoming serious once again. The 'girlfriend' on the other side seemed to grow more frustrated as she pointed her finger out towards Poochyena, commanding her Roselia to use Giga drain, on this Pokemon. The grass type seemed a little grained from it's earlier moves as well as hits, so quickly Max grit her teeth and looked down at her Pokemon. "Quick, Poochyena use sand attack!"

A small bark came from the Pokemon before she set off before Roselia could release her attack, quickly turning her body around and kicked up any kind of dirt or other debris that had accumulated from the shoes and other people walking around on the rooftop. It wasn't much, but it seemed to work nonetheless, the little particles of anything rushing towards the grass type's eyes, effectively making the attack fly about, missing it's target completely. "Now, use Shadow Ball!" A TM move Max had taught Poochyena a little ways back, Poochyena took a few steps back before opening it's mouth, dark blots beginning to form around its mouth before a round, black and purple ball filled the open space, the ball a just about as big as the Pokemon's head, maybe a little bigger. When the ball was formed, Poochyena let it go, the ball flying towards the grass type before hitting it in the stomach, sending it backwards.

[ooc: That's quite fine! I figured you were busy and I totally understand not having muse. I can always wait. :) ]

Taking a quick glance over as the Ember attack raged forward, Julia noted that Max's Poochyena was a feisty, well-trained Pokemon, resilient from the Magical Leaf attack fired from its Grass type opponent and landing a hard Bite, tossing the plant Pokemon aside after. The Roselia rose up again, rearing for a Giga Drain only to have the Dark type somehow manage to scrounge up enough dirt atop the concrete roof of the Department Store to create a successful Sand Attack, the Roselia's attack shooting terribly off mark, almost hitting an onlooker in the surrounding audience that had now grown to almost twice the amount of people. Just before her Fire type let loose her attack, Julia took one more glance over and saw that the Poochyena had landed an interesting move that hit the Roselia square in its torso, knocking the plant Pokemon onto its back. Hearing the crackling of flames, Julia couldn't look over any longer and directed her attention to her own battle.

The Ember attack of the Vulpix's sent ablaze at the quickly darting Ninjask, its speed well above even Mononoke's quick feet. It dodged the flames effortlessly and dove in to deliver the power Bug attack, the fox Pokemon's type an advantage as it cut the attack's power in half. Mononoke bounced back quickly, the Ninjask already high above in the air. At Julia's command, she began another Fire Spin, the trainer hoping the attack's much increased size and random movement would hit the buzzing Pokemon. Not to mention that the Grass type was still in play, Julia sensing movement over in that corner. Two birds one stone if we're lucky, she thought as the Fire Pokemon's open mouth now contained a large fireball that was suddenly released as a whirlwind of fire as the dual Bug and Flying type dove in again, aiming this time for a sharp Slash attack. It dodged the initial round of the fire, its sharp foreleg poised and ready. "Faint Attack!" Julia yelled to her Pokemon, knowing that it was at least an attack that never missed. Perhaps Mononoke would also be quick enough to faint into invisibility before the Bug Pokemon reached her, effectively evading the attack.

Unfortunately, Mononoke wasn't fast enough and absorbed the full damage of Slash, but her Dark type attack quickly materialised and landed on the Ninjask who was now up in the air, coming down several meters from the Vulpix's blow. As she landed, her form coming back into view, her Fire Spin made its last round about, colliding in with both of them and searing the Bug Pokemon while sustaining no damage to its creator. Julia smiled broadly as the scene commenced, the collision causing the Fire Spin to weaken and sputter out shortly after, not getting close to the other fighting pair for a second round. Julia wasn't sure if the attack had hit the Roselia, but she hoped so, glad that it had at least hit the Ninjask. "Another Faint Attack!" She called out, wanting Mononoke to hit the Bug type while it was recovering, its form already starting to buzz back to its normal speed, its body slightly scorched from the Fire Spin. "Fuckin' Leech Life them both!" Julia heard the man yell, the Bug Pokemon regaining its energy as Mononoke began her disappearing act again, landing the attack successfully as always before the Bug/Flying type could launch the Leech Life attack at either of the women's Pokemon. Right after landing though, the Bug Pokemon only put off a little from the Vulpix's blow, the Ninjask was already prepared to fire off its attack, sending down raining sharp barbs that would sink into the skin and absorb a small amount of energy, transferring it to the caster. It was a fairly weak attack that would be even less effective on Mononoke thanks to her type, but Julia wasn't fond of many life gain attacks and planned on stopping it before it began. She had witnessed how out of control and damaging they could be.

"Fire Spin again! And dodge as much as you can, never stop moving Mononoke!" Julia called out to her Fire Pokemon, the fox preparing for the attack, its brown eyes following the still darting Ninjask as well as they could. She let loose the Fire attack as the Ninjask began to shoot its Leech Life, and she began to run, anywhere and everywhere within the battle field. Julia surveyed the situation from the side she shared with Max, watching the fire tornado with hopeful eyes.

Max watched with shifting eyes Julia and the way she corresponded with her Pokemon, smiling as her and the Vulpix seemed to work well as a team. She figured that those two would be able to take down that Ninjask, despite the fact that that seemed like such an odd Pokemon. Just watching the flying bug made her wonder what all types of Pokemon there were out there in the world; wondering what other Pokemon there were the be discovered or to be seen.

But shaking her head, Max huffed a breath and turned her attention back to Poochyena and Roselia, the grass type just now beginning to stand up from the attack it was struck with once before. The sight of the weakened Pokemon brought a smirk to Max's face, and just from the stance of her dark type she could tell that she was obviously a bit proud of her small accomplishment, though could still tell that she was very much frustrated that the Pokemon had been able to stand back up from the attack. But Roselia obviously didn't have many hit points left, if the quickening of his breath was any indication of that. It's eyes were still a bit shut, having not gotten everything out of it's eyes from the Sand Attack, but Max had no doubt that the Pokemon would be able to bounce back from it, especially since the Sand Attack had been a pretty lucky one, considering the type of terrain they were battling on. Nevertheless, at least it had worked, and that was all Max had cared about. It did its job, and her and her Pokemon were able to benefit from it.

The Roselia did, though, look frustrated as well, and after its stubby arms up into the air, its trainer shouted out angrily, "Use Magical Leaf!" Max grit her teeth as more colorful leaves sprouted from the Pokemon, dispersing out and then flying towards Poochyena, who tried to get out of the way despite the fact that Max had not told who to do anything, but again she had been unable to dodge the attack. A bit of a growl could be heard coming from Poochyena's throat, but the noise died down as she turned to look back at her trainer, having ended up closer to her after trying to run away from the previous attack. She seemed to give Max an impatient look, telling her to hurry up and tell her to do something before she did something herself.

The sight made Max sigh, but she quickly turned her head to the side when she noticed the second fire spin flaring out onto the field. The first one hadn't hit the Roselia, that having been the time when the Magical Leaf attack was being dealt, which probably meant that it was able to dodge out of the way just in time. That surely would have sapped the rest of the Roeslia's energy, making the Pokemon faint, but unfortunately things hadn't one the way she wanted it. But it was at that point that she realized little bulbs of seeds pouring out onto the field, the leech life, at that same moment. Max blinked, looking down at Poochyena as she looked just about ready to jump. "Get out of the way!"

The quivering dark type's legs moved just as Max spoke, Poochyena's eyes darting over to the leech life that came toward her. In that same moment, too, Roselia raised its arms back up again and used Magical Leaf when its trainer told her to do so again, the action making Max grunt with discomfort as she watched her Pokemon try to decide what to do. Suddenly, then, Max eyes widened as she watched Poochyena's movements, watching as she seemed to skirt off to the side, basically ending up to the side of Roselia, the twirl of the Fire Spin not far off from them.

Quickly Max pointed her finger out. "Poochyena, Shadow Ball at Roselia!" Again Poochyena opened her mouth, strings and blots of black and purple circling around in her mouth until it formed a ball. As soon as it was formed she let it go, only to be hit with the Magical Leaf shortly after, but at least her attack had went through. Poochyena was sent tumbling to the ground, wincing a bit before one of the seeds of the Leech Life landed on her foot, encircling her with green vines shortly after. She grunted, struggling shortly after as her energy was being sucked away. "Hang in there, Poochyena!" The Pokemon went to stand then, her her teeth bared as she struggled against the vines still.

Max grit her teeth, but quickly turned her attention back to Roselia who had been hit with the Shadow Ball again, not able to dodge in time. The attack sent the Pokemon flying right towards the Fire Spin, bringing a smirk to Max's lips. Just like she had planned.

Despite Mononoke's quick movements and constant motion, three of the Leech Life barbs did sink into her flesh and absorb damage, sending a low amount of health back to the Ninjask who healed slightly from the gain. Thanks to the Vulpix's Fire type, the Bug type wasn't very effective and was weak to begin with. But with a glance over Julia noticed that Max's Poochyena had also been hit, unsurprising given the attack's prevalence. The Poochyena would yield a better health gain and sustain more damage, but the attack was still hardly anything and Julia's own fox Pokemon had already picked out the barbs, tossing them to the side angrily as she set her sights on the buzzing Pokemon up ahead. Her attention refocused onto Mononoke, Julia missed the awesome display of Max's quick thinking, only ordering her Vulpix to use another Faint Attack, figuring that was the only attack she could land on the much quicker Pokemon.

The Vulpix nodded in comprehension before starting to vanish again, the man yelling for another Slash, the Ninjask soaring noisily and slicing at the disappearing Vulpix, managing to hit her again before she vanished completely, hitting the Ninjask almost immediately after. The attack sent the Bug Pokemon flying back to the ground, landing against the cement and skidding. It quickly recovered though, the Vulpix already on her feet and shooting an Ember attack that the Ninjask manage to fly above just in time. "Bug Bite again! This time on the other!" Its trainer yelled out, Julia turning to look for the first time and noticing that the Roselia had been taken out of play, the girlfriend sobbing loudly on her boyfriend's shoulder who looked heavily annoyed. Julia smiled broadly, patting Max somewhat hard on the back and saying 'good job!' before turning her attention back to the field. Keeping her eyes trained on the makeshift battle ground, the pierced trainer spoke to her fighting companion, proud of them both and their Pokemon. "Ready to take this asshole down?" Julia was confident the rest of the battle would be swift - sure, the Bug/Flying type was quicker than either of the Pokemon, but both canid Pokemon were well trained with strengths of their own. They would have no problem defeating the Ninjask as a team, the Pokemon now visibly hurt and slowing down some, its form buzzing to and fro high above them in lazier lines as it decided when to swoop down for the Bug attack.

"Mononoke, use Faint Attack again!" Julia called out to her Pokemon, the Vulpix letting out a 'bark!' in return before beginning the process all over again, the opponent then choosing to descend from above and sail towards the brown Pokemon, its mandibles wide in preparation for a bite attack.

When Max took notice of the fact that the Roeslia had been taken out of play, she couldn't help but grin at the action, making her look down at the dark type Pokemon, who, still, struggled against the vines that surrounded her. "Nice one, Poochyena!" She gave a half laugh as the Pokemon turned to look at her, Poochyena's eyes showing obvious irritation for the situation she was put in. But, after another moment of the Pokemon tumbling down on the ground, she finally enclosed one of the vines in her jaws, snapping down on the object to disconnect the vines from her body. Quickly Poochyena shook herself to completely be freed from the leech life, giving out a sigh of relief shortly after the fact.

But when Max felt a sudden slap on the back, not that it hurt much, she was taken by surprise and ended up taking half a step forward in order to keep her balance. She turned her gaze and looked towards Julia, giving her a bit of a sheepish grin as she rubbed the back of her neck, nodding her head after the question. "Yeah," she replied, turning her attention back to the battle, finding herself greatly satisfied to see the girlfriend clinging to the guys arm, sobbing over the fact that her Pokemon had been taken out. "Not so cocky now, are you?!" She couldn't help but let a smirk grace her lips after that.

She watched as the man commanded his Pokemon to do another move, her eyes flickering across the battle field as she watched Vulpix and Ninjask ready themselves before they did anything, making her grit her teeth a bit as she thought about what she could do. Poochyena watched, too, her paws moving up and down as her ears flickered back and forth, an obvious anxious look crossing her features. What could they do? "Poochyena, Shadow Ball again!" If anything, Max figured, the Shadow Ball might deter the Ninjas just a bit if it was able to dodge, giving Vulpix a little more leverage in terms of hitting the bug type just right, hopefully enough to end the battle. She wasn't sure, but hopefully it would work, a little bit anyway.

Poochyena snorted before opening her mouth, again, and readying herself for the Shadow Ball before letting it loose once she had created it, the ball flying towards the Ninjask.
