Zafer closed her eyes, feeling her side warm against Kriel's. She liked this, his company. It was both good and bad to be together. It would be easier to hunt and protect the other, but then it will be also easier for other predators to find them. She fell asleep soon, moving slightly in her sleep as she dreamed. At the end she ended up all pressed against Kriel with her head against his fur.

As night fell upon the land, it became time for Naiyenna to feed once again. She was a predator of the skies, and didn't discriminate when it came to who or what was for supper. She was a proud, ornery creature who feared almost nothing, as almost nothing could harm her. The flames that danced across her feathers protected her from most physical assault, and her powerful wings carried her from most other dangers. Beak and claw provided powerful tools for taking prey, and control of her fire was always a back up.

Tonight, a little beastie was on the menu. She flew low, her gaze fixed upon the creature that was slinking through the underbrush. In a graceful maneuver, she dove down through the trees and let out her call, which echoed through the trees, followed by the dying screech of the beast.

As Kriel slept he was suddenly woken up by the sound of a high pitched screech. Kriel stood up quickly his body automatically got in it's attack postiion as he backed into the wall. Kriel roared as loudly as he could to scare away who ever was shrieking like that. That was when he heard the sound of a poor creature dying. Kiel calmed down his heart still beating wildly thats when he saw Zafer. "I..I'm sorry."

(Sorry everyone, my alerts system broke and I thought this had gone dead)
Elder's body finally calmed down, allowing deeper breaths and an uninterrupted breathing. He jerked awake, the poison mostly eradicated by his immune system. He had forgotten what had happened now, at least from the moment when he originally arrived at the abandoned ship. His mind went blank, and went into a defensive primitive mode in light of his recent predicament. He backed into a corner, watching the other two closely, and gave a deep threatening growl.

Zafer heard the call of another creature, waking up to lift her head up with a frown. That sounded more like a bird, and if that was the case, they weren't safe here in the open. Almost immediately after the call, Kriel suddenly stood up and moved backwards to press against the wall of stone. He roared loudly, threatening, making Zafer jump and raise her fur with he rnerves at peak. As soon as he calmed down, she did as well with a soft sigh. "Don't apologize. Are you okay?" She walked closer to him bit soon heard another growl that mad ever blood froze. She looked inside the cave and saw Elder finally awoke, but he was against another wall and baring his fangs at them. If he tried to attack them they wouldn't have much of a chance against such a big and strong animal, no matter his old age. She quickly positioned besides Kriel and lowered her body to show him they were no threats to him. "Elder... Please clam down." She wasn't sure what the alien's posion did to him, but it seemed as if he didn't remembered what happened.

Naiyenna spread her wings once more after scarfing down her meal. She had planned on returning to her nest, but a roar in the distance had captured her attention. She swiftly flew through the trees, her gaze searching for the commotion. As she bursted through the tree line near a waterfall, she spotted them. She flew down the waterfall, mindful not to get her feathers wet, and landed gracefully on a large rock that poked out of the water. Her gaze fixed on the male bitten who hadn't disappeared behind the waterfall yet.

Are you the one who roared?

Her voice sounded inside the male's head. It was gentle and warm, with the slightest note of curiosity.
