So, I was wondering how do set up the Div code for background images for character bios or making introductions?​

No one starts as an expert! You can trial and error in the Coding Lab. Just create a thread and then code until you get the desired effect. The Coding Help Thread linked by Rissa is more meant for more specific problems after that you have tried.

A good way to start coding is always to open a div box first:

[div= .... ] [/div]
