✧Bardic Nonsense✧

Sweet! I have no idea how to do that though. o.o

You've spent the last three days trapped in a dank cell in the dungeons of the Allurad kingdom, only offered the basics in food and water for the duration of your stay. As you wait in the cell, the sound of heavy bootsteps could be heard coming down the hallway. Before long, a guard appears, dressed in the standard garb of light steel armor and bright orange sash tied around his waist. He isn't wearing a helmet, which would hide his scowl from view, and is wearing what looks like a simple silver circlet around his head. The gem in the center glows a faint green as he stares at you.
"Athene Rockings, you are free to go. Please don't try to charm anyone on your way out." he says with a sneer as he unlocks your cell.
"Your belongings will be given back to you at the entrance. I trust you remember your way there?"

As pitiful as the lackluster accommodations might have been, in the right hands, they could be the perfect fuel. Throughout the entirety of my imprisonment, I had never been lacking in sarcastic remarks to snap at whatever poor bastard had prison duty that day. Thank goodness it wasn't a very luxurious prison - what kinds of complaints would I be able to make out of clean water and fresh linen? I would be thankful for what I could, before I could start to think too long about just how long they would keep me here. I wasn't about to imagine getting out until I could be sure I ever would.
The guard was a welcome sight, despite his empty hands. Once they moved to unlock the iron bars, I grinned, leaning against the dirty cell wall.
"I'll stop charming only if you do," I mused with a wink, strolling happily out of the cell, "But, oh, all this time sitting, staring at a wall's really done a number on my navigation. Mind giving an escort~?"

The guard stares at you blankly for a moment, though for a split second it looks like your persuasion worked. The green gem on his circlet flared, snapping him out of it at the last moment.
"Nice try." he says, tapping the circlet. "Follow the hallway that way, there's only one door in this place. Now get out of here before I put you back in your cell.

Of course it worked - it always worked. I'd just about set my hand on his shoulder, grinning like crazy, until his hand swiftly snapped away and drew attention to the circlet. Of course men always had to make it more difficult. I dodged out of the way and start heading for the door before he really does decide to extend the sentence.
"It's only charming if they don't like it!" I snap back at him, slipping through the door and searching for my supplies.

The guard didn't respond to that last comment. The next room was empty save for a few locked chests with names written in parchment above them. The one furthest to the right said 'A. Rockings', and the lock was already open. On the other side of the room was another door, heavily barred and locked from the outside. The only hint that there was someone inside was a small slit near the middle of the door, and a pair of eyes looking out at you.
"Hey." you hear a voice say. "You gettin' out?"

First and foremost, I want my stuff back. I hurry to check the chest, almost ignoring the unlocked one as I figured that couldn't be mine. Until, I did read the name and found my own staring back at me. With a heavy sigh, I'll dig through the chest, but not without responding to the voice. The open chest upset me, made me hate the guards even more. I'd seize the chance to get back at them however I could - and stick it straight into that stupid circlet.
"Yeah," I respond, "Wanna come with?"

The voice behind the bars laughed. "Fat chance. I'm not getting out any time soon. Not saying I don't want to, but it's just about impossible. You can do me a favor though."
There's the sound of rustling behind the door for a moment, before a single hand can be seen between the thin bars. His skin is pale, fingers thin and long. He places something wrapped in an old cloth on the ledge between the bars.
"Take it. I don't want the guards getting a hold of it." he said, pulling his hand back.
