  1. Back Story (open)
For thieves, life was good. They could roam the cities, stealing and making a living, so long as they weren't caught. That goes especially for two thieves, Ahrial and Estella. The two females have been partners for many, many years. They started off stealing on a minor scale (things such as small jewelry, food, etc.), then as time went on, their theft skill paid off. They became the most wanted thieves in all of Atherra. They could steal anything, from anywhere, at anytime; their life was truly good.

As good as they were at stealing, they were caught eventually. All of Atherra cheered with their downfall. When brought affront the king, to be given a sentence for their crimes, they were banished to the Unknown Dimension, a world that was found but never traveled to. This was quite harsh for only stealing, but there was much more that they did. They killed guards, used unethical black magic, and so many other crimes, it's hard to mention them all.
The world was never traveled to, true, but it's still known to be a powerful world. The presence of it being there is enough for mages to sense it, even though it's so far away. It's so powerful that only the highest of the mages can open the gates to enter it.

They were banished together, and since then have been stuck within the unrealistic world.

Estella sat up, rubbing her head. It was a hard landing after going through the gates, and it paid off. She blinked a few times, getting rid of the daze she felt from the fall. Finding her witch hat, she placed it back on her black tresses and stood up, dusting herself off. She also found her staff, which was placed a few feet from where she landed. All ready to live anew in the Unknown Dimension, she scurried over to Ahrial, checking if she were hurt from the landing.

"Wake up, Ahrial." Estella said in a soothing voice. She could tell Ahrial was alright, though she was still knocked out from the fall.
