Ballad of the Killemall Pirates (Anyone can join!)

"Old? How dare.. I am.. Sigh. Nope. Forget it." Elisa did not mind that she'd been picked up. She did mind, however, she'd been called old. But she didn't voice this opinion, remembering what Crono had said. So for now, she bit her tongue and didn't blow her top. She gave an inaudible chuckle as the dwarf, who had now named himself as "Jethro", placed his hand on his weapon hilts. Elisa attempted to discreetly smell what this "Scab" was, but failed as she could not smell his soul.

Naomi made her way over to the ships doctor. "I need you to take a look at my back." She didn't feel any pain from the impact of the wall till now.

"Well see if I fix yours when that big mouth of yours gets them chopped off." Dr. Scab snapped back at the dwarf. He looked back to Naomi and nodded. He reached behind her and began to tap his fingers against her back. His tapping felt like spider's feet on her back. "Nothing is broken. I'll get you a potion to numb the pain and take care of these." He finished and pointed at her tails and ears before leaving to the infirmary.

Crono wheeled the bike to the side of the ship and for a moment was distracted by a group of cloaks conversing in a alleyway. image.jpg
They all stood huddled together, their ragged robes bellowing in the wind. It wasn't this that caught Crono's attention. It was the fact that they had horns, demonic horns. Now, demons were just as common as any other race but they never went out of their way to conceal their identity. Crono shook his head, not his business. A mechanism in the ship activated and a group of the boards to her slid open to reveal a small room with a robotic claw that picked up the motorcycle and retracted back into the room which was covered up again. "Let's light her up!" He yelled gleefully as he ran onto the deck and then to the steering wheel. He hit the button in its center, causing the Reverge's engine to light up. The ship began to slowly lift into the air, her wings unfolding. She then turned around, and zoomed off. Despite the speed, the ship itself remained perfectly even and for those standing on her, was a surprisingly peaceful ride. "Everyone line up for your jobs", Crono said to his crew.

Mike lined up for Job assignment wondering what job he might get.

Elisa's eyes widened. "This is the most amazing ship. Ever." She commented, amazed at how even the ride was even though they were flying at such a high speed. She glided to the line back of the line of job assignments, pondering what she might get.

"Wow..." Keira breathed once the ship began to fly. Her eyes were lit up with excitement, and she got into line with the others, sort of rocking back and forth on her feet. As happy as she was about being able to join this crew, she was also a little nervous about it. She waited to be told her job assignment.

Naomi followed the dwarf into the medical bay o f the ship. She was kind of nervous. "What do you mean by fixing my tails."

Jethro rolled his eyes and scoffed deciding to heed the captains warning of getting on the good doctor's badside. "Don't worry your pretty head none lass. He probably talking 'bout a varient of an invisibility spell or along those lines." He patted her back as he turned to leave. Parting with, "Harmless no dought," and a thumbs up as he made is way for the assignment line smiling the whole way. That was until the ship started moving. As smooth as it was Jethro still hit the deck, nerously assuring to himself this was part of the job.

The infirmary looked more like something out of a monster movie. A large, dark room with shelves upon shelves of strange liquids, sharp tools, and odd contraptions. Dr. Scab stood at his desk, his hands moving at an amazing speed. Finally he turned around with a small vile of green something. "Chubby was right. This will turn your ears and tails invisible. Drink up and come back to me if you notice any problems."

"Mike and Jethro, you are to be the ship's engineers. Keira I am giving you the very important role of lookout. Elisa, your our navigator. If anyone sees Naomi please tell her that her position is cannon master. Any questions? If we are in calm waters you may explore the ship to your leisure, slacking off makes you the doctor's assistant for the night." Crono announced without taking his eye off the horizon.

"Cool now im really gona get to see what makes this ship fly so smooth" Mike said happily.

"Lookout." Keira repeated with a short nod. She looked up the central mast at the crows nest. She could handle that, or at least she figured she could. She looked back at the Captain. "I'll go on up, then. Unless there's anything else you need to tell us."

Naomi Looked at the liquid in the vile before sending it down. She sat there for a few minutes before she felt the potion working. Within seconds her tails and ears were invisible. She could still feel them there but couldn't see them. She tested something and found out it worked. She could control if her tails were invisible or not. "Thanks doc," she headed outside with her tails invisible.

Mike heads off to the engine room , when mike arrived at the engine room he looked at the books on the type of engine running in the ship and how it worked and the manual for the engine,

Name: Lucifer (Luci for short)
Age: 27 (or that's how old he looks)
Appearance: http://imgs.steps.dragoart.com/how-to-sketch-an-anime-boy-step-12_1_000000129431_4.png
Species: unknown for the moment
Bio: Was once a great fighter from his country, but that soon changed when the invasion took place. Scattering any survivors, as the fled to the corners of the earth. Lucifer soon became a mercenary, but let greed take over him. His long list of goals included: Immortality, killing a man with one finger, owning a house full of lovely ladies. Unfortunately he has a pretty bad personality, leading to some nasty crimes. Like killing a lot of people. So he was imprisoned, but escaped after a few years to end up on some random ship....

A figure was sitting on the top of the crows nest. He was just out of eye shot, but could tell that some of the people who had just arrived could sense his presence. Unfortunately Lucifer had...certain restrictions on, so couldn't tell what species of people they were. He also couldn't hear any of the conversations going on, or see the young shapeshifter about to climb the mast. So he just sat and waited for someone to find him

The ship had finally leveled out and Jethro braved to stand noticing no one saw his little episode or cared to call him out on it. He was happy also to hear he had received a job below deck. He had worried that he might have received a post at the rigging or such that required him to climb. Jehtro went to follow Mike to the engine, but saw Naomi come out the doctors quarters without ears and her tails. Walking up to her smiling Jethro waved stating, "Looks like doc scab took well care of you." Finally approaching her his wave tured to a salute. "Congrats lass the cap'm appointed you cannon master." He lowered his arm. "Be carefull not to make us go boom eh?" He teased as he turned leaving for the engine room.

Below he could see Mike already going through the manuals. Joining him Jethro pick up the Manual Mike had recently put down and spoke, "So find anything interesting? I dought she is anything like the two, four, and eighteen wheeled varity I'm used to." He patted Mike on the back. "Welp looks like we're partners now. Bear with me lad." He finished with a smile as he found something to sit on and began to read the manual, quietly humming a dwarvish fable.

"Amazing." said Elisa, grinning when she heard she was navigator. She couldn't wait to get started.

"Well this is different to the space cruisers ive been on that have multiple fusion engines running a warp core and Plaza coolant, The Fuel manifolds are simple but have a four way Bi-Valve diverting the fuel to the wheels and there is lots of rust" mike replied as he removes a rusty gear and replaced it with a newer shiny one from a Crate marked with "Gears" on it,

"No. Except be carful bringing that stowaway down from there. Elisa, please make your way to the map room and plot our course to Brittown." Crono replied. He suspected the dwarf to react in such a way, they spent most of their lives underground. The stowaway was another problem, if he doesn't agree to the job.

The Engine Room
A large room with crates, tools, and parts scattered everywhere. The ship's engine takes up half of it, a behemoth of machinery made of parts from around the World. Hardy dwarven gears ever turning, small elven trinkets tick tick ticking, and some stolen military grade stuff here and there. On the left wall a small note says:

Our parts are rusting into uselessness faster then they should. Find and remove the problem as quickly as possible.

The figure sitting on the crows nest decided to drop down. He stood up from the nest and simply stepped off. Landing on the deck with a loud thump. He turned to Crono and bowed slightly, causing his chains to rattle. His hands and arms up to his elbow were covered in metal caste cuffs. Thick sturdy things that weighed a lot, and stopped him moving his arms. Down around his ankles were two more cuffs, but these were lighter and connected by a chain. So he could walk but not run. Finally his face was covered by a metal mask, the person wearing it had no way of hearing, seeing, smelling or tasting anything. The only think on the mask were two small holes on the top so he could just about breath.

After he stood up from his bow he cluncked the metal blocks on his arms against his mask. In a geaste to ask for help removing them.

The man across from Jethro may as well have been speaking in goblin tongue when he was explaining, hells, at least Jethro knew some some goblin swears. He was glad he was a fast learner, at least he recognized most of the parts the dwarven gear Mike was replacing was one of his races finest. Jethro stood and tossed the manual he was reading on a workbench, the resulting thud displaced enough air to knock a piece of paper on the floor. He picked it up examining it. It seemed to be a note. "Looks like we have our work cut out for us lad." He said as he handed Mike the note before opening the hatch the manual he had been reading was assigned to looking for parts that may need replacing.
