Occupation: Works at a bookstore that is family-owned by her friend's family. She manages the finances and mans the floors and stocking the books, whatever she can and the owners help her out as much as they can financially. Still, the job is barely enough to manage bills and raise Danny the way she wants too.
Background: After high school graduation, Zeke and Elise agreed to end things so he could go off to college. However, soon after he left, she found out she was pregnant. When she tried to contact him, she couldn't get through. So, she began to raise the child without him. After fighting with her parents and refusing to give Danny up for adoption, they disowned her and kicked her out as soon as they made sure she had a place to stay, not once seeing their grandchild after he was born. She met Bella at a single mother's support group she had decided to attend, desperately hoping to find some advice on how to raise Danny from experienced mothers. Now Bella is like a second mother to Danny and her son is his best friend. Still, after four years, she waits for Zeke to return, hoping one day they could be what they used to be.

Background: Bella got pregnant with her daughter when she was still in high school. By the time she graduated she was giving birth to her first child. Once she and the father of her daughter, Asher, turned 18 they moved out on their own and bought a house together to raise their family. Years later, she got pregnant again with their son, and she and the father got engaged. Though, while she was 6 months pregnant, she caught her fiance cheating on her with a younger woman. She kicked him out of the house that day and got full custody of the children. Ever since she has pledged to never rely on another man again, focusing on only taking care of her children and being the best mother she could possibly be.
