It is 2013 in New Orleans, where we are still blissfully unaware that beyond the humans living their lives, there's a world so much darker. Artemis' personal army battles against her brother Apollo's creations with more bloodshed than ever before. The Apollites continue to turn into Daimons, feeding on more human souls to survive while the Dark Hunters fight for humanity as it slowly ebbs away.
The tables turn as the Gods offer favor. Rumors spread now that Daimons walk in daylight, becoming "day-slayers" and begin to fulfill the prophecy of the Dark Hunters' downfall. Until the slaughter came upon the Dark Hunters though, the rumors were silent. In the Daimon's most vicious attack, his army walked beneath Apollo's light and decimated more Dark Hunters than had been lost in the past ten years combined.
In a community interwoven with the supernatural, the Dark Hunters and Daimons are not the only to rise and battle. Were-Hunters, Apollites, Dream-Hunters, Demons, Cthonians, and Gods cannot avoid the prophecy and how it ties each of them toward this destiny. New Orleans has officially become the world's biggest warzone, and it's about to get bloody.
