This is my own take on the Attack on Titan universe, which means no canon characters exist in this RP. This also means that you cannot play as a canon character, nor be the offspring of one. I would like everything in this RP to be original, so that even someone who has not seen the Anime can feel comfortable playing.
Universe
One hundred years ago, mysterious and deadly humanoid creatures known as Titans appeared on Earth. No one knows how they exist, or why, but they do. These monsters go and eat people, but not to satiate their hunger. In fact, they don't even need to eat people. No matter what, these Titans stopped at nothing. Billions of people turned to millions, and millions turned to thousands of humans worldwide. In a last attempt of survival, humanity built enormous walls to cage themselves in and keep the Titans out.
It is the year 850, and humans have lived in peace from the Titans. Villages were built and the population gradually increased. The humans have done their research on the Titans and know more about them now more than ever. The information was passed on generation to generation, and eventually, they discovered how to kill the Titans.
The outside world was nothing more but a fairy tale to the children of the villages. Trees, grass, the ocean, all like a distant memory.
How this works

This game is D&D based, which means your luck and dice rolls will come into play.
By this, it means that if you roll a specific number, it could mean something good or bad for your character. For instance, if Charlie rolled a 2 out of a 6 die while fighting a Titan, the Titan will grab his character out of midair. If Sandra rolls a 5 out of 6, her character will kill the Titan and save her teammate. However, if she rolls a 1, Charlie's character is killed because Sandra missed the attack.
I will be rolling for everything. If your character is going from one part of the district to another, I will roll on whether or not they will be encountered on friendly or not so friendly terms. Or if they're on an expedition, see how smoothly it goes. This is to keep the RP from getting boring or everyone surviving every single event.

This is pretty self explanatory, but there will be death whether you want it to happen or not.
If your character dies during an expedition, then they will be pronounced dead. Any body part that your teammates find can be taken back to the village and give you a proper cremation.
If your character dies, is raped, kidnapped, etc within the village, then their crime can be investigated and the perpetrators can be brought to court. If a playable character is investigating, I will roll how successful it goes. Those scums will dispose of evidence and try to get away with their crime, and with limited technology, it will be pretty difficult. However, the perpetrators can be of low intelligence and possibly leave evidence that leads straight to the victim. Anything is possible.
If your character dies and you choose to create another, you will receive a select number of points as compensation.

NPC combat will involve rolls. Your stats will come into play on how well you can defend yourself and how well you can kill Titans, as well as your intelligence, stealth, everything.
No one will start off like Mikasa or Levi. Though "Natural Born Titan killer" is a stat that can be rolled for, it is a 1% chance. Your characters will be expected to train and get better. Training will also reduce the risks of your character dying and make them a worthy opponent when fighting another character or NPC.
Romance

Becoming a couple, courting, marriage, arranged marriages, etc are all available and possible. I will even provide opportunities of romance or arranged marriages as an NPC. Rolls will also come in play as well, but those will remain a mystery until your character finds out more about their suitor.
For instance, Mason, an NPC, asks Sandra's character to be his bride. She has her say yes, and the two enter an engagement. However, Sandra doesn't realize that Mason rolled a 1 in sanity, which means he is potentially psychotic and will never let Sandra's character go. Sandra will have to either have her character kill him and face the consequences of her actions, or try to escape by all means, or simply accept her psychotic fiance'. The possibilities are endless.

Implied sex will be a thing within this RP (Nothing descriptive. 18+ content must be taken elsewhere). If a female and male character decide they are going to have sex, then I will roll whether the female is ovulating, and whether or not she will become pregnant due to the encounter. If protection is used (good luck finding that), then I will adjust the chances accordingly.
If the female character remains pregnant without miscarriage, then there will come time for birth. The character will have a chance of death, and depending on the rolls will depend if she dies, her baby, or both if luck is not on your side. -
Just because your character isn't single doesn't mean others aren't ready to mingle. I or others will provide opportunities of casual encounters or affairs if they are courting/engaged/married to another person. Just let it be known, as this could affect choices while on an expedition.
