Led by Ghost, the guild has blossomed into a feared brotherhood of amiable killers. You harm one, you make enemies of them all. Nocturne Headquarters is not impressive in the slightest. It shows the guild's humble beginnings and has a homey feeling to it. Located somewhere in the highlands of Scotland, the large wooden and stone structure blends in with the moss covered boulders and thick highland grass. A large underground garage provides parking for the members. At least two hours from any other civilization, and situated on an old rutted out dirt road which was rarely ever traveled on, stands the base of the Nocturne Guild. The place has a warm feeling to it, with the scents of moss and ale mingling together in the main hall. There, a bar and kitchen were situated, and some old couches were nestled in a corner. A few large tables were scattered across the wooden floors for meal time. A set of stairs went down into the armory, and another set of stairs go from the armory to the garage. Another set of stairs went up to the bedrooms from the main floor. A large board on one side of the bar shows all of the current mission requests. There was an opening to the left side of the bar which lead to the library and recreation room. On the right side of the bar was a door to the infirmary. There is a set of rules that the Nocturne assassins live by: Never endanger the guild through your own stupidity. Always complete the mission or, at least, die trying. Always protect your brethren from forces outside the guild. That school, known simply as the Acadamy, was designed to train assassins. He graduated at age 18, and a year after that the school was destroyed, as well as a guild of assassins, and he entered the scene as an extremely promising young assassin. He has strong ties with some of the guys he graduated with, and when one of them was killed, he went on a murder spree that led to the fall of two assassin guilds. He mellowed out a bit after that, as he did become Uncle Archie, but he still stayed in the business of death dealing. At age 34, he created Nocturne guild. Things have been going very well since then. Personality: Ghost has a reputation that can often be forgotten when he's in a decent enough mood. He's quiet and thoughtful, and rarely raises his voice. He is smart beyond his years- and yes, he knows he has a lot of years on him- and that comes out in his actions. He can be very intimidating when he has to be, however. He knows how to break people, physically and mentally. This is probably because he's been broken down before, though it is a topic of uncertainty in the guild. He does have more than a few secrets, such as his past and how he came to be the skilled assassin that he is. If asked, he would say he was a mafioso, or a son of one, or a contact. He is quite proud to say that he graduated as a "chemistry major from a big university", never giving specifics. He was also consistently in acting clubs and plays basketball. Before the Guild He was an informant and a freelance assassin whose favorite client is a young Japanese tycoon. He still works for the Yamashitas from time to time and is still affiliated with them. It was around this time he studied bartending with another freelancer named Terrence. Within the Guild When Ghost was just starting out, the Yamashita brothers were quite interested in the Guild's service. At first, Sebastiano was sent for an affiliation, but he later chose to work for Ghost. In the Guild's earlier days, he was quite active, a favorite of the more socialite-type clients because of his charm and wit. As the guild grew, he took it upon himself to support the rest, getting the task of doing follow-up missions and gathering information. He still accepts contacts when the offer is really good (in his standards). To Sebastiano, simply put, he loves his Guildmates. Ghost is the broody father of the Guild whose quiet guidance keeps them all in check. Sebastiano feels Ghost is a workaholic who never speaks of his own problems but that only worries him. He ends up getting naggy sometimes when it's just him and Ghost. Haze, Face and Crown are all beloved brothers to Sebastiano. He pokes fun at them but that's just how he shows he cares, his way of appreciating their differences. Other times, he can get aggravatingly sweet on them it's almost flirty. In the early days when they still did team missions, Sebastiano was usually either support or bait. Owl and even Wolf were like sisters to him and he's always straightforward in caring for them. Owl was his initial inspiration to learn baking, and he expanded to different meals to accommodate the others' preferred food as well. After being abused, she ran from her orphanage and grew up on the streets. She made money in any way she could, prostitution or fight clubs, you name it. It was a rough life, and she never had a formal education. When she was 15 years old she was approached by members of the Blood Red Rabbits, a majorly terrifying secret organization that provided muscle for less than legal clients. She decided, after meeting the man in charge,to work with them and got a blood red tattoo of a rabbit on her front right hip. She also took on the alias of "The Boxer" as reference to her boxing style of fighting. While working with them Jessica educated herself, and with the money earned got off of the streets and up in the high rise lifestyle. She still didn't have a formal education, but spent many time educating herself on many topics. She learned better on how to fight, always using her gloves from her humble beginnings when doing so. She had her first kill, and made many powerful people very happy. She learned how to use more powerful weapons, like guns and poison, but found that she prefered to fight hand to hand combat. She worked with them for 4 years before they were taken down by lawmakers. She was lucky to not get arrested, and thanks to a wealthy lawyer client she kept her home and assets. She worked around for that year, mostly doing personal guard duty for the very lawyer client that saved her. When she was twenty though, she got her first assassination request. She wasn't sure about it at first, but did she have an option? She thought about her friend, her only friend, that she had just made and rejected the idea. 'This person they want dead is someone's friend, and I can't end that.' In retaliation, they killed her friend, and she, in turn, killed them. Upon realizing that the world was as terrible as she had always hoped it wasn't, she entered the assassin field. She was widely successful, and as she grew up on the streets and did not have any government files on who she really was, she found the job easy to make anonymous. WHen she was approached by the Nocturne Guild she was surprised, but at 23 she wasn't going to turn down such a lucrative offer. After she had been in the Guild for a couple of years, the head of the Blood Red Rabbits was out of jail and contacted her. She appreciated his request, but kindly explained (as she is fond of the man who served as a father figure to her) that she was a part of something else now and would not leave. They still communicate, and act much like the family they were, and he knows he can contact her if he is ever in need. However, she is not working for him any longer. Personality: Jessica isn't exactly bitter, but she is rather cynical. She has an outside the box perspective, and makes jokes about most anything she deems appropriate (when she is with friends). She has no friends outside of the Nocturne Guild, and is not friendly as a person. She is not easy to like, harsh, and mildly ellitest. She has a short temper, but is more likely to silently hate someone than to bother to do anything about it. "I don't care." Is a common phrase, and she really means it. She appears mildly emotionless, though it hurts when people call her a cyborg. She would just stare at an object like a predator stalking its prey, giving her the opportunity to develop her observation skills. She was always served by servants and lived such a lush and extravagant lifestyle that she felt weak and worthless. She then asked her parents for some military training and they happily obliged. Her older brother Patrick, a military officer, taught her self-defense while her younger brother Paul, taught her how to become agile, always making her run by teasing her endlessly. Even though she had everything, she still wanted more. She always admires independent women so at the age of 17, she moved out of the manor, asking her parents to let her live on her own and become an independent woman. Of course they agreed, saying that she needs to stand on her own two feet and gave her an apartment. She then became an assassin because she believed that being an assassin will help her be an independent woman and that she can now truly put her skills to good use. Personality: Yvonne has a very carefree, outgoing, and a flamboyant personality. She tries to be friends with everybody, including those who seem gloomy and distant. As carefree as she is, she can be very determined and serious while on a job. She has a certain level of respect for all of her guild members, former and present, and has utter faith in their abilities. When on a job, Yvonne takes everything to the extreme just to get her job done. Due to her monochromatic eyes, capable of observing every movement of her opponent, thus predicting the opponent's next move. can see the smallest details of a person's movements, including their breathing, heartbeat, sweat, muscle contractions, etc. With this, she can time her actions perfectly to nullify the opponent's actions, sabotaging whatever tactics the opponent tries to execute. In short, she can "possibly calculate and see the future of his opponent's moves." But his father barely gave him any time and effort and let him be. Pierre resorted to finding affection anywhere he could. His French neighbours, his classmates, even elder women he could charm as a child and through adolescence. When his father met a woman he planned to marry, he got shipped off to Japan where his mother worked. One thing led to another and he found that he could seduce anyone to get what he wanted, whether it be money, gadgets or even secrets. He made the mistake of trying to seduce a well-off attractive looking man with slopping shoulders one night. The other guy shooed him away, stating he had another client. Pierre obviously knew what he meant and skedaddled after seeing an obvious yakuza make his way towards them. The next day, at a café while delicately drinking his Latte--Pierre saw the yakuza's picture on the news, dead. A rather short man in a suit approached him. This was Mr. Lee. He offered him the chance to use his skills for money--to work for him. Now, Pierre was only 19 and was living off his mom (who was too busy with her own family to bother with him) and ...others. He agreed, with a little persuasion from the same man hanging about Mr. Lee's arm. Mr. Lee left him in Drew, the same man from before. Drew taught him to properly seduce his "assignments" and hence, finish them off. Pierre didn't like it at first, but the thrill of getting close, now knowing if he could do it or not enticed him. So at 19 turning 20, he managed to get a name for himself. Mr. Lee gave him an assignment that lead him to Britain. But one thing led to another and well, Mr. Lee and Drew were forced to "disappear" from the radar. Pierre didn't quite know why (he was never told these things) but Drew told him to find a guild that he could be protected and in turn protect. While searching around, he found Nocturne and built himself according to them. Waiting for the time, Mr. Lee and Drew would contact him again. Not that he'll ever betray his guildmates, but rather, wanting a confirmation that they were alive would be good. This would also be a good time to let you know that Pierre's name isn't really Pierre. It was the name he chose after...becoming an assassin, cutting off the ties of his past. His real name is lost in the wind (--though he isn't quite certain that it's really hidden). Personality: To sum it up, Pierre is a DIVA. He can act all solemn and what not, but he is a DIVA right down to his core. He'll look down on you and hit you and even berate you with a snarl, but he means well and can be rather sweet. He'll pay for your meal, never forget your birthday, and be your stylist. But he has his sadistic moments, though they always come far and in between. Think of him as your sassy younger/elder brother, who knows he's good looking and smart and the favourite. He's also a slight narcissist. He is a narcissist. Father worked hard, mother was always there to give them their love. Her older, by two minutes, brother was her everything. She had a happy youth, going to school, playing around in the relativly large garden with her brother and every night going to bed while mother read a bedtime story. Perfect life, happy family. Untill a dark day on October 29th. Being it their 13th birthday, their parents were taking them out on a surprise trip. It was early in the morning when they had to stop for a trafficlight and they where being carjacked. Three masked guys walked up the car and without saying a thing, they took out their guns. Cat couldn't say a thing as she got off her seat and tried to hide behind the backchair. Three silent pops could be heard and she saw her mother's lifeless eyes staring at her while one side of her head was blown away. Her brother was actually looking at her the very instant he was killed by a bullet in between his eyes. the lowlife didn't know she was in the back of the car and when they parked it somewhere remotely, she managed to slip out and vanish in the night. Ever since she'd been roaming the streets, living off of whatever she could pickpocket. In the beginning things moved slow, she was hungry more often then not, but the more she did it, the better she got at it. Her best trait was her incredible speed. Whenever she was caught, which happened a lot in the beginning, she managed to outrun anyone and everyone. Soon the local street gangs noticed her and wanted her to join in, but she refused. She didn't fancy the gang life and rather stayed on her own now that she knew her way around on the street. The fact she told them no, resulted in a lot of harrasment on her side. Often enough she was in a fight again, yet she always managed to stay alive. She carried one knife, with which she was incredibly skilled though more often then not she could leave it sheated, her skills in lying being enough to get out of a situation unharmed. One day she heard about Nocturne and it sparked her interest for that might be one group of people able to get her to the point she always wanted to be. Slay those who killed her family. Now she was roaming the streets, hoping to find a member of Noctrune so that she could work her way in. Personality: Cat is cold, distant and one wouldn't easily approach her. She doesn't have friends nor does she want them. Lying is something she is very skilled at, yet she will barely use it for telling the blunt truth is more her cup of tea. She doesn't deal with emotions or feelings and lives her life based on logics and rationality. Only people who value truth and see the logics behind her words are normally able to be around her for longer then a couple of minutes, it helps if they aren't easily offended. Cat rather goes down then showing weakness and when she is asked about it, she will tell anyone she doesn't have any weaknesses and fondly believes it's the truth. She has a weakness she is unaware of though, which is goodlooking dominant guys who know how to play her. Throughout his years of schooling, Morde was instructed on how to fight in many different styles by personal instructors his father had hired. As a child, Morde was never familiar with the things his Father actually did for a living, all he was aware of is that he'd sometimes leave for extended periods of time, only to come back injured or with heavy dufflebags smelling of freshly-printed paper. Of course now that Morde is an adult, he can see that like his great grandfather Joseph his own Father was a Hitman. Expert in assassination and covert operations.. Unbeknownst to himself at the time, Morde was born to be a killer. It was etched into his very being from childhood, having learned how to fight and kill, without even knowing the latter. Entering the business at the young age of 18, Morde can speak various languages, operate almost any weapon and vehicle. Personality: Generally Morde is very cautious of who he talks to, and what he says when talking to said "who". That does not mean he doesn't enjoy a good laugh or bite to eat with a fellow guild-mate from time to time, however. Quite the contrary, seeing as how usually he goes out of his way to assist those in the same trade as he. Quick on his wits and silver coating his tongue, Morde is a smooth talker and he knows it. An adventurous and sometimes even care free spirit on his assignments, he believes that one must "roll the dice" from time to time, just to spice things up - even if it means losing your life. He walks with a natural swagger, a sway of well-dressed shoulders and a light tap of his feet. A spring in his step and a smile usually decorating his handsome face, Morde is a gentleman to behold. Flirtatious from time to time with the ladies and men, his orientation does not discriminate. A hedonist by nature, he believes in the sanctity that is pleasure. Arianna had grown used to this by the time she was seven and learned to take care of herself. One day, however, her mother came home at eleven [pm] with a man. She introduce Arianna and Ari found out that he was going to be her step-father. Arianna wasn't against the idea but days later, after moving in, he started to sexually harass Arianna. She allowed him to, unsure of what to do at the time. This went on until Arianna was ten. She had learned about this sort of thing and when she got home, she told her mother. Her mom, however, didn't believe her. Arianna tried to make her believe but her mother slapped her hard and that was the end of it. Angry, Ari ran to her room and stayed there until her mother and the man went to bed. Arianna crept into the kitchen and grabbed a Chisle Knife. Entering her mother's bedroom, Arianna walked over to her step-dad's side of the bed. With tears running down her cheeks, Arianna stabbed the man repeatedly in the chest. She then did the same to her mother before running back to her room with the knife. Stuffing things into her duffel bag, Arianna zipped it closed then put it on and ran to the kitchen. She washed off the knife before throwing it out the window into the bushes. She grabbed seven sharp kitchen knifes and stuck them into her duffel then left the house. Arianna had only gotten two miles when she bumped into a police officer. In fear, she grabbed one of her knifes. Seeing this, the officer pointed his gun at her. Arianna was too broken to be afraid though and grabbed stabbed the man's hand. He dropped the gun and in a flash Arianna grabbed it and shot the man in between the eyes. She then pocketed the knife and gun and ran for it. Having no where to go, Arianna lived on the streets in secret while attending school. When she was fourteen, Arianna accidentally bumped into another officer. Recalling what happened four years ago, Arianna grabbed the gun from her back pocket and pointed it at the women. The women did the same but no one shot. A sudden noise made Arianna jump and in that same moment she pulled the trigger, shooting the women in the chest. She was shot in the arm by the women and in fear, ran away. Arianna was caught by Ghost though who took her back to his place along with her duffel. When they got to his place, he helped her and they spoke for three hours. In the end, Arianna joined the Guild and has been there ever since. No one doubts her loyalty and if they did, they'd have to answer to Ghost. Personality: Arianna is a persistent and stubborn girl who never backs down. She is very tricky, usually turning people's own words against them and such. Arianna has a quick mind with just as fast feet which have kept her alive all this time. She is rather reckless and prefers to 'wing it' which has almost gotten her killed numerous times. Arianna has become amazingly good at acting and can fool anyone, except Ghost of course. She works hard and is very smart from all the studying she does whens he has time off. Arianna isn't a bookworm though and is a total troublemaker most of the time. Many call her immature but Arianna works harder than others give her credit for and is always doing her best. However, after witnessing the events on the Highway of Death, he deserted with others and later surrendered to American forces in the city Diwaniya. Price was given political asylum in United States, where he was sent to a boarding school in Connecticut, which was actually a font for a CIA's Special Operations Group backed training camp. The point of the camp was to create the perfect assassins and mercenaries of different races, but not very political or religious, expendables that the CIA could use at will, yet easy to give plausible deniability. Once the "students" finished training they were sent around different hotspots in the world. Soon the CIA decided that the project was not worth the payoff and destroyed most of the evidence of the project and ended keeping tabs on the mercenaries, only employing them if the chance arrived. Price joined the Nocturne after he was invited Ghost, when he was impressed by Price's ability to adapt his means of assassination to the environment the mark was located at. Personality: Price is cunning, smart and quick-witted, has combat experience in five continents and 7 years of experience in Krav Maga, along with a rating with every weapon that shoots a bullet or makes holes, making him a sought after professional. Price has a no-nonsense approach to his profession (funny for a guy that has a helmet with car ears on it), he usually never meets with his employers personally and if he does, Price usually uses a fake identity. When not on a job, Price is usually friendly and is not afraid of attracting attention. While he is talkative, he never tells too much, as he is careful with his words. Price has a temper, but it rarely shows, making it hard to understand when you have crossed the line. He shows loyalty to his friends and the guild and is ready to stand by their side if the situation arises. Starts hard in the morning excersises. Speed and reflexes go over the norm of the other 700 subjects.” the russian military medic wrote the report of each subject of the Project WARRIOR. This one was of a particular one, Van Karshtikov, son of the General Nikolai Karshtikov. The Project WARRIOR was a secret super-soldier development project made by the russian government in order to upgrade their troops., All the project’s activities and researches took place in Siberia, one of the coldest and wild areas of Russia. General Nikolai Karshtikov was the main organizator of this, he submitted his own son, Van to it, the project consisted in taking kids -yes… kids- from birth and adapting, upgrading their bodies and minds to reach the state of “Perfect Soldier”. Several trainings a day were done, it all stopped at 12 AM and started again at 4 AM. The best of Spetsnaz started training these kids in martial arts, close combat, fire guns, bladed guns, drug resistance, torture and pain suppression when they got to eight years old. By the time they were supposed to be 12, 500 of the 700 kids had already died, one of the few survivors was Van, well, actually, he wasn’t. Van’s heart stopped for five complete hours when he was ten by overdose of narcotics in his body. He was one of the best subjects, showed mayor strength, speed, reflexes, and stamina; all until he “died”. Medics realized that Van’s system had recognized the overdose and “shut itself down” for the time narcotics’ effect was in his body, this came at a great cost, after his sudden revival, his stamina and strength were considerably reduced by almost half if not less. “Report: -Siberia’s woods, Russia- -42800 Hours, Military time- Subject 375 -Age: 12, Male- Amazing performance, made it to ran out the wolves’ range in less than 30 minutes, didn’t kill any, just hit a vital area and at least three pass out. Subject refuses to end with any of the animal's’ life. Needing updates in mental training against conservancy of life. Overall speed improval was noted, but stamina now runs out even faster. Developed average tactics under pressure and in limited amount of time.” Van’s overall rating was advancing just as his age, he became squad leader at the age of 14 for intern missions. Some of his partners felt envy, but they all respected him and his capabilities. “Report: -Siberia,Russia- Center of Training and Operations of Siberia- -1200 Hours, MIlitary Time- Subject 375 -Age: 15, Male- Subject got ill during the individual training with wolves, he didn’t ask for aid. Once again, made it to run out of the wolves’ territory and enter to the Safe Area with ease, although he got captured by a wolf when he ran out of stamina, managed to hit the wolf in the eyes, freeing himself. One last thing, during his path, subject 375 picked up an orphan wolf pup, this was not approved and punishment must be done, specially because… he killed three of our men protecting the pup.” The day that report was sent, was the first day Van had cried since his birth. A whole squad of more than 20 soldiers came by, heavily injured Van and took the pup, killing him. Van cried for three days straight, even when he could tear apart a human skull without hesitation with a knife, the loss of this animal’s life devastated him. His brothers in arms couldn’t understand this, but Van did and that was the only thing he needed. Three years passed. Van is now 18, Project WARRIOR was officially closed. The actions taken by the russian army were found out by international entities and so requested the ONU to cut it out. 680 of the 700 subjects were already dead, the damage could not be fixed. Van as one of the few survivors, was brought into society, but he couldn’t live in such ambients. Luckily, or not, for the girl she was found by a passing neighbour that brought her to a hospital and she was treated for her wounds. Miraculously she survived the ordeal and once she recovered was send to an orphanage. The case against the men that killed her parents came to a near stop when investigators saw her parent's records of drug and child abuse. The injustice of it all was a big burden for Minami. She developed an unusual obsession for death and violence, along with a slight phobia of physically being touched, which got worse as time passed. As even the slightest touch set her into a frenzy she was passed around between orphanages until one day, she was adopted by a peculiar man. The man knew much of her life, her rotten past included. He offered her a way to get revenge, as well as a way to help others. By his hand she trained to be an assassin and after killing her attackers from so long ago, she joined the guild to do her job even better. Personality: Minami is still troubled by her past, though she got her revenge long ago. She is severely isolated and afraid to open up to others. She rarely even takes off her mask to show people her face. Minami has a fear of being touched and even the smallest gestures, such as being tapped on the shoulder, will cause her to panic and most likely draw a weapon. When she feels cornered her panic will only grow and she will snap, her mind going blank while she attempts to attack and kill everybody nearby her. Strangely, she has no difficulty touching others, though she does not prefer to do it.
