Ash Grave
(a) World Information;
-Ashendel ; A world completely covered in a massive sea known as Tyr (pronounced 'tear'). In it, only islands exist, and these islands are connected via massive chains as to not lose contact with one another and drift apart. The rain in this world never ceases due to irregular weather patterns and atmospheric pressures.

-Ashendel ; A world completely covered in a massive sea known as Tyr (pronounced 'tear'). In it, only islands exist, and these islands are connected via massive chains as to not lose contact with one another and drift apart. The rain in this world never ceases due to irregular weather patterns and atmospheric pressures.
-Lazuli ; Ashendel's moon, completely enveloped in snow. Very few structures exist up here, and the ones that do appear to be built by a race of unknown origin. The snow never ceases here due to the exposure to the coldness of space and the moon's own odd atmosphere.
-Ether ; Lifeblood of both Ashendel and Lazuli. Without it, machines couldn't run as well, medicine would not be as effective, and the planet itself would collapse, as if it were being drained of all its blood by a proverbial "vampire". Ether is also the very substance that made supernatural abilities possible for the militaries of Ashendel.
-Tetherpool ; Original source of all Ether, and where the purest form of Ether can be found. It is guarded by a field of poisonous flowers, and the Tetherpool itself is a whirlpool into the depths of Tyr for anyone who tries to abuse its gift. The Tetherpool is located just beyond the Dead Fissure.
-Falsepool ; A man-made replica of the Tetherpool using trace elements found in the original. It was created in an attempt to monopolize Ether and create a stronger economy by providing more energy and other necessities, but ended up being used for a much bleaker purpose..
-Dead Fissure ; A massive fault in the crust of the planet, left behind by unknown causes. What is known however, is that the Dead Fissure is where the horrific Quicksilver comes from, and to that end alone, it must be either sealed away, or the Quicksilver must be cured. The Dead Fissure also continues to slowly rip open wider and wider by the year, and eventually it will rip the planet in half if not stopped.
-Quicksilver ; A venomous, blood corroding substance recently discovered to bleed from the Dead Fissure. If you come into contact with it, your blood will slowly be replaced by the substance, and your body will reflect this, with your skin becoming a sickly grey colour and your veins coursing with the accursed liquid. What's worse, is that once you've been infected, you are a vector for the substance to spread. If your saliva, sweat, blood, or your cum comes into contact with any other person, they too will be infected with Quicksilver, and will suffer as you do. Quicksilver causes insomnia, anemia, photo sensitivity, heat and cold sensitivity, brittle bones and both suicidal and homicidal tendencies and thoughts. The victim is in a state of constant agony and will suffer without stop until death.
-Ash Grave ; The only site to be recognized as 'holy' (at least by Ashendel's standards). Before the Inferno bled over the world, the Ash Grave once stood as a prophetic monument to Ashendel's long line of princesses. This city was known as Gunlyr, but that name remains but a memory now. Today, it is forbidden to ever enter the Ash Grave, for if you do, you are deemed to be defiling the final resting place of the princesses who are already suffering due to their violent deaths at the hands of the Inferno. Rumor has it though, that deep within the Ash Grave, lay secrets that no one has seen for millennia.
-the Inferno ; A blazing firestorm born from but a single spark of unknown origin in the center of what is now known as the Ash Grave. One early morning dawn, a tiny spark ignited, burst into a mighty vortex of flame, and then bled over the land, and has been doing so since. Ashendel's government is currently doing everything in their power to control and end the seemingly unstoppable force.
-Fountain(s) ; Once the Inferno began burning, the Falsepool was modified in order to treat the burns inflicted upon those by said Inferno. As it turned out, the fire would continue to burn you unless pure Ether from the Tetherpool was used to douse the flame. Ashendel's government responded by building Fountains all over the islands, so that as many people as possible could access them in case of emergency. This backfired however, as this resulted in many riots over who received burn treatment first. Many of the Fountains today are heavily damaged and barely functioning..
-Cinder(s) ; Finally, there are the Cinders left behind by the Inferno. They remain white hot long after the blaze has left the area, and seem to glow in the darkest of nights like some sort of Will-o-the-Wisp. A rumor amongst the more desperate of Ashendel's people is that if you consume enough Cinders, you will become immune to the Inferno's effects.

(b) Races;
-Dolls ; Once the pinnacle of Ashendel's military might, these young women were all that stood in the path of Ashendel and her enemies, Before the government and militaries began to fall apart, these girls were ace pilots of the HALOs : biomechanical mechas used in open warfare, varying in size from street level to sky scraper. Since then however, the HALOs have been decommissioned, and the Dolls relieved of their duties as a result of a failed covert ops on Lazuli that resulted in the deaths of 4 top pilots and leaked vital government information to the masses, causing even more panic to stir. Dolls are unique in the way that all of them are lacking in something, and this is represented in their appearance. For instance, a Doll that is lacking in passion could be fitted with a mask that does not allow her to smile, to speak too loudly or clearly, or even kiss her lover, should she ever find one. A Doll that is lacking in physical strength could have her limbs amputated and replaced with artifical ones, increasing her strength, but removing her ability to feel the warmth of another's hand. Dolls are a type of martyr - they give all they can for Ashendel, and if that price must be their lives, basic freedoms, emotions, physical abilities or even their own rights, they will do so without hesitation. It is because of this that Dolls are the most controversial figures in Ashendel's society. Some people admire and praise them for their sacrifices, while others view them as cold, unwavering war machines built for the express purpose of murdering and controlling all those who disagree and disobey the Ashendel government and militaries. Lastly, Dolls have a special ability, and that is to make a bond with something known as a Familiar. This Familiar could be anything from a sword to a wolf, a rifle to the ocean itself. However, if a Doll has already bonded with something, another Doll cannot bond to it and will be fiercely rejected.
-Zira Family ; Currently the most wealthy family in Ashendel (outside of the royal family, that is), the Zira family consists of various non-humanoid races. Led by Headmistress Tiazira and her eldest daughter Ayazira, this powerful family welcomes all non-humanoids into their fold with open arms, regardless of their past or personal goals. As long as they serve the Zira family faithfully, those adopted in will never see another day where they go hungry, are burned by the Inferno, or hunted by the Dolls still loyal to the fractured Ashendel government and militaries. Each Zira family member has a different ability all their own, but they all share one thing in common - they have something called the Birth Link which allows them to see through another Zira family member's eyes at any point in time. They can also feel their heartbeat from anywhere on the planet, and each member feels the emotions of all the others, adding to their bond. It's what keeps the Zira family so strong, and so dangerous.
-C'ele ; The Ashendel word for 'girl' or 'female', the term C'ele is meant to encompass all of the non-military, non-government citizens of the world, from doctors and teachers to children and company CEOs. A C'ele is simply a normal person who lived a normal Ashendel life up until the Inferno began to burn, and their normal world was torn asunder from them. They have no inherent supernatural abilities, but have the most potential amongst the races for growth and adaptation should they get their hands on some Ether to give themselves supernatural abilities, or should they stumble upon some state-of-the-art military biometrics to upgrade themselves.

(c) Dangers
-Plac'ial ; A titanic leviathan that dwells within Tyr. She is the apex predator of Ashendel, and is respected as such. It was her rampages during her awakenings that caused the Ashendel government and militaries to create the HALOs in order to combat the beast and lull her back into the waters, if not eventually destroy her. For most of the year, the Plac'ial sleeps, but during the winter months, she awakes to migrate towards the Tetherpool for unknown reasons. Since the islands are in the way of her migration, she attacks them and attempts to devour them, causing catastrophic damage in the process.
-Architect(s) ; A newly discovered race of sentient machine living on Lazuli. They are the ones responsible for the new structures being built up there, but any attempts made to contact them have resulted in violence. They mutter on about something called the Cerulean Map, and a being known as the Cartographer, but both subjects are currently unknown.

(d) Legends
-Emissaries ; A race once thought to exist in the farthest reaches of the galaxy, these enigmatic beings are fabled to be omnipotent in power, and able to traverse through space-time at will. These legends have become simple stories however, as no one has ever seen an Emissary or anything like it. It is stated that the Emissaries appear to mark the end of a planet's lifespan, but this is just meant to scare children. Based on old texts, they are estimated to appear as such:
-Visionaries ; The true inheritors of all the Ether in the universe, and the storied creators of the Emissaries, the Visionaries are said to be omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. They are described as both Angelic and Demonic in both appearance and nature, making them a neutral party in most stories. Many people put faith in the Visionaries as Gods, and the Emissaries as their 'Angels' so-to-speak, enough so to spark the only religion on Ashendel, known as the Cathedral of the Caregiver, which is what the religious folk call the mother of all Visionaries, and thus, all life. Based on the Cathedral's texts, they are estimated to appear as such:

(e) Notes
-No males exist in this world, as these beings never developed the proper chromosomes to allow for this sex to exist. They are able to reproduce because they simply evolved to be able to conceive with the same sex.
-There is a full Ashendel language, and it will be making an appearance often. I will be translating these words as they appear. If anyone wants a full run-down, let me know.
