As if it Never Happened...

Clarence was still at first, confused. He slowly reached his arms around the other male, returning the hug. It felt nice, but....Clarence was still confused as to why he was being hugged. "Emory? You okay?" He whispered.

"Sleep." Emory whispered softly back. "Just go to sleep." He shifted around some so Clarence could be mostly laying down while Empry hugged him. He figured this would work... Right? It always worked for his little siblings.

"...Okay...Good night, Emory..." He whispered, then snuggled into Emory, enjoying the feeling of his warmth, the feeling of his arms around him. He felt safe...protected.

It took him a few moments...but he finally fell asleep in Emory's arms, and surprisingly, no nightmares showed up. At least...not yet. And hopefully, they'd stay away the rest of the night.

Emory couldn't sleep, even after Clarence fell asleep. He stared up at th ceiling, holding Clarence. It would take several hours before he actually fell asleep.

Clarence slept well through the night, thanks to Emory.

When he woke up the next morning, it took him a bit, but he finally did open his eyes. He shifted a bit in Emory's arms, feeling slightly restrained. He carefully moved himself off of the bed, trying his hardest not to wake his roommate, and stretched once he was in a standing position. He had to get his second bottle of pills today.

With that in mind, he crouched down and grabbed his suitcase from under the bed, opening it, then picked out an outfit for today. Black skinnies, black Mickey Mouse sweater, dark red scarf, and dark red sneakers. Once he had that picked out, he opened his messenger bag and grabbed out his pills, opening it and shaking two out onto his hand.

After he put his suitcase back, he stood and walked into the bathroom. He put the pills into his mouth, his pile of clothes on the counter next to the sink, and turned it on, cupping his hands so they could fill with water, then drank from it, swallowing the pills down. He turned the sink off, then closed the bathroom door so he could take a shower.

Emory only shifted slightly as Clarence got up. He mumbled slightly before he stilled again, dead asleep. He looked peaceful, his hair a mess.
While Clarence took a shower, Emory's phone went off quietly and started buzzing. It was an alarm for his first class, but he was completely out of it, not even moving at the sound.

After about twenty-five minutes, Clarence finally stepped out of the bathroom, fully clothed, and enjoyed the cooler air in the room. He walked over to his bed and grabbed his messenger bag, then his phone out of it, and swung the bag over his shoulder.

He looked at his phone.

8:13 a.m.

He sighed and looked down at Emory, his eyebrows furrowing a bit. Then he heard his phone buzzing for the second time, just as a normal alarm would, though it was only the first for him. He pouted slightly and leaned down, instinctively brushing some hair from Emory's face.

He placed his hand on his shoulder and shook it slightly, parting his lips to speak.

"Hey...Time to wake up, Emory." He said quietly.

Emory mumbled, curling up a little. Something about tired.. His mind clearly wasn't in the moment of school. He shifted a little, then stilled again. He looked quite peaceful and serene despite the mop of hair on his head and his clothes being twisted from the way he slept.
