So this isn't the first time this has happened, but I put one in and two came out, it won't go away either;;

Show my the code you used. This normally happens when either a) they weren't closed properly, or b) something is interfering with the code.

Huh, it works for me. Do you use the rich code editor (the one with the fancy buttons)? If so, try switching to the plain code editor and see if something else isn't interfering with your code o.o

I've had this issue before. Copy the code for your thread, refresh your page, edit and delete all but a single character, refresh, then go in to edit on the bbcode editor and paste everything back in.

It's a bit of a pain, but it should fix things up nicely. If not, try deleting the double-brackets.
