break the bonds of mediocrity and embrace the destiny fate has bestowed upon you.
Julian Timothée Armine
A metahuman of Asian and French descent, born with the power to create, manipulate, and travel through dimensions. Professor Armine has recently come to terms with what he described as an “epiphany” and three months ago, dropped off Millennium City’s radar.
His specialty, and what he taught at Meta City College, was the theory and practice of power development. His wish-his epiphany, stems from his passion in seeing others develop; seeing them evolve to their fullest potential… And if necessary, force it out of them.
He’s always had a harsh sense of justice, but Julian is predictable in his impartiality. Once given a set of rules, he will not break them. His mind, brilliant in his given field, seems to be entirely focused on his perceived “mission from God.”
Out of a plethora of Meta’s in Millennium City, a select few are chosen to participate in his first game. No one need get hurt…
As long as they follow the rules.
Arc: Fractured Dimensions
Premise: A fanatic savant lays a trap for a group of Metahumans and sends them to a different dimension, one of his own creation. In consequence for “not following their destiny”, characters will be put to the test in a game of life or death, as he believes that only under such circumstances are powers able to grow, evolve… and develop.
Given a set of rules and his word that if followed, no one would come to harm, characters must play the game if they want to survive. But his mind is skewed and even one mistake can be fatal. Rules can be interpreted in many different ways and those unfortunate enough to be caught in his dimension must learn to rely on each other, themselves, and the powers they wield.
Must have some form of notoriety within Millennium City, even if their “five minutes of fame” is long gone.
Mustn't be over the age of fifty or younger than eighteen.
Must have three secrets. One must be negative. The others may be whatever they wish. [To be sent via DM.]
Be willing to work collaboratively IC and OOCly! This is a must as characters may be paired.
Willing to collab with fellow players! Collabs will aid in the flow and cohesiveness of certain scenes.
Provide character secrets relevant to both their characters and the plot.
