Proditius the Golem

Absorption of magic
Absorbs direct magical attack. Without absorbing magical energy Proditius will eventually go into hibernation from magical starvation.

Notable Possessions: Proditius has no possessions beyond the Ice of it's body and the memories in it's mind.

Aux: Ice golems have no aux beyond the roiling magic that lay within them.

Advents: Ice golems have no powers beyond those bequeathed unto them by their creators.

Appearance: Sprig is 4 foot tall, with webbed digits and gills.

Occupation: Hobbler (one who guides ships through waterways)

Notable Skills:

Born in Water - Sprig is an excellent swimmer, but clumsy on land.

Salty Savvy - Sprig is adaptable to both salt and freshwater, so fares well on the ocean.

Friends in Small Places - Sprig can talk to fish, insects, frogs and lizards.

Tireless - Sprig is twitchy, nervous and like certain fish does not need to sleep.

Notable Possessions:

Mother's Cloak - an oversized blue cloak that shields Sprig from mind-affecting magic.

Aux: A red metal headband.

Advents:

Angler Lantern (Born in Water) - For 1 minute Sprig's headband becomes a beaming light that can be seen through murkiest waters, guiding ships and companions alike.

Incessant Imprint (Tireless) - After fixating on a shape, symbol or face for 1 minute, that object becomes a permanent engraving on the headband. The Aux is thus a pictorial record of Sprig's fondest memories.

Notable Skills:

Sharp Mind: Takeda meditates and reads every day as part of his self imposed training regiment, and as a result he can think and act quickly.

Swift Blade: Takeda can swing his blades at very fast speeds.

Pin Point Weakness: After battling an enemy long enough Takeda will begin to see the weak points in the enemy's fighting style and will exploit them.

Push Past the Pain: As an elite guard Takeda's body has been conditioned to withstand large amounts of pain. However, he is still human so there is a limit to how much pain he can take before his body just stops working.

Notable Possessions:

His very light and very sharp swords

A small bracelet made of beads that his daughter made him

Aux: Shibu the Hawk


Advents:

Staggering Speed: Takeda can move and attack at blistering speeds for exactly one minute, but afterwards becomes extremely exhausted to the point of being unable to stand.

Eye of the Hawk: Takeda can read enemy movements and immediately spot weakness in their fighting style. When this effect wears off Takeda can no longer keep his focus. It becomes incredibly hard for him to concentrate and strategize.

- His bow 'Khetin', made of animal horn and the heartstring of a dragon. (or so he says)
- Various arrows of different make and design. They are also considered his trophies from raids on various cultures.
- His horse 'Djinn', a fine Zirako desert stallion. Its endurance is suited for long travels.
- The Legendary jewel-encrusted Crimson Codpiece of Pah-rou. Defends his family jewels, hyper weapon and other honor from non-consensual encounters. It is probably his only item of value.

Aux: A strange set of symbols that appear to surround him when summoned. They are hologram-like. The aux's ruler like symbols help him gauge distances and movement. In battle, his knowledge of positions and enemies, as well as friends, appear as symbols of their own within the aux.

Advents:
- Lock-on (Arrows do the Talking) -
His Aux creates a symbol around a target, locking on to it. When he next fires an arrow, the arrow chases the target until it hits it or is obstructed.

- Cobra Maneuver (who needs a map when he's around?) -
When pursued and he is aware of at least one pursuer's position, he may instantly be transported behind the closest pursuer identified.

Aux: A magical locket that looks like a two snakes hissing at each other, and a small golden orb in the centre of them. The chain itself had been broken and has been replaced with a loose piece of yarn. The snakes are polar opposite, one with black eyes and a white body, and the other black with white eyes.

Advents: The Aux can help him decept people, whether that be with merchants or just the everyday feud. It can charm people into believing what he says. Though only to a certain degree. It cannot create emotions. It can also cause him to turn into a smoke of blackness once a day. For a maximum of five minutes.

Notable Skills:

Economic knowledge - Through extensive traveling and business, Arec knows the systems of legal and illegal in major cities across all three nations.

Anatomical knowledge - Since he grew up hunting in Tavark, Arec is skilled with small single handed weapons and specializes in targeting the vital parts of an animal in order to efficiently kill with the smallest amount of force necessary.

Concealed weaponry - Arec designs concealable weapons with specific properties designed to be either very lethal or immensely painful. He hires craftsmen to forge these custom weapons for his personal use.

Sleight of hand - Arec is adept at concealing objects with his hands and utilizing misdirection. It's mostly used in making small thefts or cheating while gambling, but can be used in conjunction with his weapon skills to make quick and stealthy kills.

Notable Possessions: Small dagger with serrated edges (concealed in left wrist sheath), a decent amount of Pegulis and Kaustir currency, a small vial of lethal poison, leather gloves

Aux: A white ferret with a black tail. Spends most of its time sitting on Arec's shoulder.

Advents:

Critical sight- The Aux hops onto Arec's head and can identify all vital points on anything nearby, marking the most vulnerable spots in Arec's vision for a minute. This advent can be applied to any race or creature.

Illusion - The Aux disappears and produces a proximity based illusion for a minute. The illusion is strictly visual and sound based and can be revealed by touch. The illusion can only be maintained as long as it remains within thirty feet of Arec and it can moved at will for the allotted minute.

The Devil's Tongue (Deception)
- Once a day, Azareth may tell an absolutely perfect lie using this ability. Belief in this lie is absolute, and will drive a person's actions pertaining this lie if they so chose to take action over it.

Stir of Echoes (Touch of Madness) - Using this ability, Azareth may directly link his own maddening aura to a target and exponentially increase the rate at which they hallucinate and go mad themselves. The effects last until his link with them has been broken, or for exactly one minute: depending on how long he is linked, permanent aftereffects may still occur.

Dabbled in the Black- Soul has also studied in Black Magic, and has mastered a few spells.

Well Traveled- There is not many a place where Soul hasn't gone, he's even performed in the capital of Viridos and Kaustir, therefore he can also speak many languages.

Swordskill- Soul has incorporated blades into his shows for many years, from small knives to large bastion swords. One thing never changes however, he handles them almost expertly

Dragon's Strength: He possesses great strength and is able to don his full plate armor and tower shield with minimal encumbrance.

Hold the Line: When Rakar enters his defensive stance, planting his tower shield into the ground and bracing himself, he can withstand nearly any incoming force (acts of god not included), provided that it hits his shield first.

Dragonhide: In addition to his skin's natural armor, it can heal itself quicker than normal, closing wounds within minutes. This does not apply to damage that reaches deeper than the surface level, only his hide.

Darkvision: Able to see in the dark without the need for a light source.

Notable Possessions:
Full suit of plate armor, adorned with lethal spikes.
A large steel tower shield, (his prized possession) also adorned with spikes and a sheath on the inside for his standard longsword.

Aux: A small dragon familiar named Coros. Often seen perched on Rakar's shoulder.


Advents:
Dragon Armor (Dragonhide): In moments of dire peril, Coros joins with Rakar to make his hide impervious to attack. Nothing can pierce it when this happens, turning his body itself into a shield.

Take the Hill (Hold the Line): When losing that position just isn't an option, Coros can join with Rakar to give him what he needs to push forward. For the duration, Rakar can be in his defensive stance and remain mobile at the same time, in addition to sending bursts of magical force through his shield to knock others out of his away. The ultimate Bull Rush.

Supreme Agility: On air or ground, Lysa is as agile as they come, able to move her body and dodge objects (falling debris usually) with a kinesthetic ease. Her dexterity plays off of this, allowing her fine control over many her movements.​

Well-Cultured Linguist: She's traveled many areas and picked up on a few languages. She has a knowledge of many cultures. She can converse with the best of them and decode ancient texts and hieroglyphs.​

Brawler: Lysa has spent years honing her fighting with sword and bow (though she now sticks exclusively to the sword unless hunting). She's had to compensate for her frame and mass and uses her wings to her advantage.​

Survivalist: Lysa is able to hunt small to medium game and survive out in the wild throughout her travels.​

Ayah's Compass: The needle begins to go haywire in the presence of a strong polarity, hinting at something worth exploring nearby. And should she want to, she can track a person if she's smeared a drop of their blood on it, but it only lasts for one day.

Slyth: A long thin sword she procured early in her travels, its blade is surprisingly strong and cuts easier than regular metal.

A fang-like tooth of a long dead animal, wrapped in silver. It was her mother's necklace.
Aux:

Aneira is Ly'ssandra's Aux. Small and pure white, she looks as if she's made of snow. While Lysa is flying, Aneira rests in the bosom of her armor.

Advents:

Mijole's Flurry: For one minute, Ly'ssandra can tap in to the pure essence of her Aux. Her body breaks down, becoming a flurry of the coldest of the north winds. She's able to obscure vision and attack with the razor-like snow flakes. Her radius is only a few feet.

Piercing sound. By channeling her the abilities of her Aux, Lysa can send out a sonic-screech, capable of mapping out an entire cave by sonar. Her sound waves are only visible to her for a moment, and from then, it's all memory. She's used this to locate enemies as well for one moment. It has no destructive capabilities.

  • Chariot driving: Novis is known for his ability to control his vehicle despite the circumstances he finds himself in.
  • Fast Talker: Whether it is making an ally in the arena or trying to get through a blockade by the authorities, Novis tongue has to be as fast as he drives.
  • All over the place: Having delivered so many items, Novis would likely know someone to assist him wherever he goes. If not, his reputation helps him find these people.
  • Keep away: While trained to use all sorts of gladiator weapons, Novis method of fighting involves keeping his distance while attacking from far.

Notable Possessions:
  • Chariot: An ordinary chariot until the many buttons, levers and switches brings out the surprises Novis needs to pick up speed or evade pursuers.
  • Avaranth Cottage: After winning his freedom in the arena, Novis was able to get his own home. This is where he keeps his chariot, weapons and trophies.
  • Map Urn: The urn when filled with water shows its surrounding as it moves. Every change will spend the top layer of water until the urn needs to be refilled once more.
  • Gladiator armory: Including his favored bow, spear and net among others, Novis also has a sword and shield he was trained with for the arena.

Aux:
A bandana worn on the head that can stretch over his face to mask himself.

Advents:
  • Need for speed: Novis is able to stretch his perception of time throughout the one minute towards a predetermined time. While not physically faster, his efficiency makes him appear to be as he has more than enough time to decide his next move. However he is unable to stop the advent midway and has to wait for his time to run though.
  • Not even close: When he needs to, Novis is able to make his Crux stronger and more nimble than the average human to help his movements in getting past obstacles or just to run.

Darts: A small amount of darts tipped with various poisons and substances.

Lock Picks: A small amount of assorted picks and objects held together by a ring.
Scimitars: A pair of blades that have brazen handles and a steel blade.
Smoke Bombs: Small sacks of black powder and other chemicals that combust when feeling sudden impact, leaving an expanding pillar of dark smoke in their place.
Aux:
Daimōn: It's a devilish being that rests on his shoulder that tells him to do the most selfish things, the ones that benefit him at the expense of all other parties. It is red skinned with a pointed tail, though it is garbed in black.

Advents:
Reflexes: For the period of one minute, he gains unnaturally sharp reflexes that are reminiscent of a precognitive intuition.

Stealth: For one minute, shadows seem to warp towards him, the noises he makes are dulled, and people's perception of him becomes limited.

- Miri is a rather adept pickpocket, enough to liberate the occasional clueless traveler of their possessions.
- Miri also has some basic understanding of lock-picking, and can tackle most basic locks.
-Miri tends to be rather good at reading people, able to sense their reactions to news and twist their responses to her advantage.
-Miri is moderately skilled at the art of forgery. While she cannot make documents that would pass any sort of scrutiny, she is quite good at forging signatures and small-scale contracts.


Notable Possessions:
-Miri carries an old quarterstaff that has been modified with two bands of iron on each end.
-Miri carries an additional Tarot deck that is not her Aux.
-Miri carries several old, battered diaries.

Aux: A Tarot deck. It changes from day to day, and can be anything from one single card to the entire deck.

Advents:
Foresight- Miri is able to see anywhere between one to three seconds into the future, depending upon her level of concentration. This allows her to predict the movements of people or objects around her.
Insight- Miri is also able to gain some sort of information about an object, person, or event in question by using her Aux as a Tarot deck. The usefulness and depth of this information can vary wildly, being anything from a useless nickname to an outline of someone's life story.

Rune knowledge- Since she studied with a decently-known Mage who specialized in post-cataclysm readings, Adelita's knowledge of runes is vast.

Advents:

Wings of Freedom- Combined with Feren, they can light Adelita's wings on fire. It also grants her to summon fireballs the size of tires into her hands, but after the advent is gone, she becomes so weak she can barely move.

Soothing Song- [ Negotiater ] When Adelita's situation becomes impossible to explain she can calm people's nerves by singing a soothing song.
