  The fairy tales written and told by Charles Perrault, Hans Christian Andersen, Brothers Grimm, all the greats, and even the little nursery rhymes you were told as kids weren't just stories. They were real. They had happened. All of it. The magic, the mystery, the beauty, the love.
  
  They've always been real unbeknownst to everyone. Including the characters of the stories themselves...
  
  For generations and generations they've been reincarnated and lived out the lives of their stories again and again. Always with new turns, twists, horrors and always the magic. And they've never remembered their past lives. These tale characters are called Everafters.
  
  Yet, there is a secret ending no one knows about. Each time the pages of the stories close, the stories of their lives come to an end, these characters, people, Everafters, are hunted down and killed/eaten by mysterious monster.
  
  No one knows why. And they never have been able to figure it out because they can never remember their past lives each time. They only time they've come to remember anything of their old lives is when it's too late. When the story has ended and the monsters have come after them.
  
  ....
  
  However, the 21st century has arrived. And things have really changed.
  
  These monsters are no longer coming after the story is done. They've started to come at any time they please.
  
  But things have not only changed on their end. The Everafters are starting to remember themselves in bits and pieces, dreams and nightmares, in black outs. But they're coming to know and remember who they are. Who they were.
  
  Now, a town called Apple's Peak located outside of Los Angeles is attracting the Everafters. Another mystery that has yet to be solves, but they are all attracted to it and have headed there.
  
  If they worked together, they could find answers and save themselves from the same fate, from their common enemy.
  
  Sadly, there is too much conflict monster themselves, the heroes, the villains, the neutrals, and even with normal human beings. They're people and so they have issues.
  
  The Everafters stories is taking a new turn. This time at their own will.
  
  And no one knows how it will end.

  Everafters
  
  The story book characters. Whether a hero, villain, or side character the person will always be an Everafter. Therefore, they've lived many lives and have been killed all the same by the monsters. And continue to be hunted.
  
  As an Everafter, they are different from normal human beings. Some of their differences may be increasingly inhuman. Such as magic, strange abilities or more.
  
  For example: Snow White may have enhanced, mesmerizing, hypnotic beauty. She is the fairest of them all.
  
  Everafters are sorted into one of two categories based on their role in the story. But this doesn't necessarily make them bad or good completely or at all.
  
  The Good
  The heroes. The good guys.
  
  The Bad
  The villains. The hateful ones.

  There is next to nothing known about these horrid creatures. No one has ever seen one and lived to tell the tale. The only thing that the Everafter's do know is that only their kind can see the creatures, no normal human beings can. And they always leaves a bloody mess of their victims. So, it seems they aren't intelligent beast.

  Apple's Peak
  A quaint, close-knitted community, but large town located outside of Los Angeles, California. It attracts Everafters, somehow calling out to them. The town's appeal is as mysterious as almost everything else, there's something magical about it... But because it attracts Evetafters it also attracts the monsters.
  
  Unknown to it's residents the town is magic and holds most, if not every answer, the Everafters need and want.

Not everything about him is evil and dark. DJ is able to be friends with people. Only if they're not trying to be stronger and more powerful than him. He can even be in the same room with the good guys and girls of Apple's Peak. Just as long as they don't try and change him into someone he isn't. Not a rowdy and chaotic person in the slightest. Loving a good time and having fun with the best of them. A genius when it comes to comedy and fun; being able to bring a room from the ashes of boredom, into a world of freedom and liberation. STRENGTHS
DJ has immense knowledge and practice of different forms of dark magic. Necromancy, blood magic, curses, transmogrification, chaos magic, destruction magic. His main and strongest form of dark magic is necromancy/voodoo. He has been doing it for many years and has perfected it the most out of all the other forms. Has an entire collection of voodoo dolls of past foes that he loves sticking needles into and torturing, knowing that somewhere that foe is feeling it. If he has the right resources, he can create a voodoo doll of anyone that he pleases. Practicing dark magic has been ingrained into his brain and learning any other form of magic makes him fall mentally and physically ill. No one is more proficient at dark magic than DJ.

WEAKNESSES
Dark Magic is definitely adjective and intoxicating. If DJ isn't careful, one day he might not even be able to keep control of the sanity he still has. He might not believe the darkness is consuming him, but it's starting to. If he uses too much dark magic in one day, he is bound to wreck himself. Mentally, physically and spiritually.

Because Dark Arts are the rebellious forms of magic, DJ can and has lost control of them when he tries to use powerful spells and techniques. Hurting himself and others in the process. Dark Magic has a mind of it's own and not even the master manipulator has the type of ability to manipulate it into doing his bidding all the time.

HISTORY
Nothing is really known about his younger years. DJ was always a troubled young child, who did whatever he wanted to do and had been placed in different homes ever since the devastating fire took his birth parents away from him at the age of ten. No one had ever expected for a little child to be able to commit such a crime. Instead of investigating anything any further, he was put into a shelter for young children. Until being adopted by a loving family, that he ended up hurting in many ways. Luckily none of them were killed, but he was given up after only a year. The family couldn't take him anymore. For years and years, DJ was dropped off to different homes, until turning eighteen. Finding himself on the streets of Las Vegas, Nevada. He made connections with the corrupt people of the neon city. Gaining a reputation and creating a name for himself. While his birth parents named him Dakarai Zuberi Janvier, he tells everyone that he only has one name; DJ. Never telling anyone his full name. A full-grown man now leaving in Apple's Peak. Wanting new scenery and victims to manipulate.

• The first time he conned someone was when he sold a fake coin to a "down on her luck" woman. Using his charm to get her to give him her last dollar because he said the coin would bring her luck and fortune if she prayed at night with it under her bed. To this day, he still can't believe that actually worked.​

• Almost had his right hand sliced off because of a bad gambling con operation. The man he was going against was secretly tricking him at the same time DJ thought he was conning him. It ended with both men heading to the hospital for different injuries. Never speaking to the gambling bastard again.​

• Has nightmares of the fire he set and sees his family in his dreams. It might be the ghosts that he uses that are not happy with his actions as of lately trying to get him to change before it's too late.​
