This is the Character Sheet and Information thread regarding the Modern Anime-Style Roleplay: Anomaly in Everyday Life. Only Character Sheets created by the participants are to be posted in this thread, for the sake of organization and convenience. Please read everything that is written here for you to have a clear understanding of the roleplay. Also, take note that everything written here is not permanent and is subject to change as the story progresses.

In this world exists a biased belief wherein individuals judge each other by their appearance, race, background and actions. However, we humans are just too insensitive and condemnatory about these things to the point where we just cement facts according to the rumors of the majority and close the case without delving deeper or taking notice of what truly mattered. Indeed, the society we live in today has standards wherein a collective's judgement dictates what is "normal" and what is "abnormal".

It's simple, really. Those who are seen as popular, smart, successful, wealthy and with power are held in high regard by the norm. They are whom we could call "elites". On the other hand, those who are seen as failures; such as delinquents, the unintelligent, the anti-social, the vagrant and basically anything considered an anomaly by the norm, are often treated as the leftovers of the community. These people are usually known as the "outcasts". They are kicked out of what is considered normal and are usually picked on and treated with disdain. Disconnecting from the people who shunned them including their families, they isolated themselves from the populace. And, as fate would have wanted it, the remnants among these outcasts started to merge and create a society of their own; known as gangs.

Here; in an expansive and bustling city at Kyoto prefecture known as the Kizugawa Ward, daily life is treated exactly as I, the narrator, have expounded it. Gangs and other lawless elements started to roam around here and there, partaking in minor misconduct and immoral behavior. There are different types and forms of gangs, unified and working towards a certain goal or agenda. That "goal" varies from diverse self-imposed motivations such as revenge, survival, dominance and the like.

Day-by-day, these gangs are slowly but steadily rising in power. They have become more and more aggressive over the past few years, and their initial misdeeds are progressively becoming worse; turning into serious charges and heinous crimes. The authorities and local police are now starting to take action against these unruly offenders.

Amidst the "war" of clashing beliefs lies a dormant street gang. They are considered a "gang", but for a completely divergent cause. Yes, they are treated as outcasts and is considered a "street gang" due to their nature and background, but there is something that deviates them from the rest; something which society does not and will never hope to understand.

They want to be loved. They want someone who would treat them as equals. They want someone who can call their "friend".

THEY DO NOT LIKE TO BE ALONE.

Something as silly and down-to-earth as that is this particular group's primary motivation for existing. They are a gathering of individuals thrown away by the general public. Some of them dislike their families and became runaways. One thing is for certain in this tight-knit ragtag bunch: What they lack in strength, they make up for it with an unbreakable bond for each other.
Kizugawa Ward, Kyoto Prefecture

Kizugawa Ward is a city located in southern Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. It is the southernmost city in the prefecture and it is named after the Kizu River, a tributary of the Yodo River, which runs through the city. It has a total estimate population of 162,000.

Information:

Kizugawa was nominated as one of the most peaceful cities in the entirety of Kyoto prefecture thanks to the regulations implemented and added onto the regular protocol by Nobuo Hojima, the current mayor of Kizugawa Ward and a true pacifist who abhors violence. Said regulations are as follows:

1) The police can only use firearms in dire situations; please exercise non-lethal judgement on perpetrators.
2) Smuggling and selling of firearms and other lethal weapons is prohibited.

Being caught breaking said regulations is a sure-fire way to get a lifetime imprisonment as punishment. For the majority of Nobuo Hojima's term, crime rates were at a bare minimum. The population started increasing as a result, and the city was bustling with businesses such as commercial trading.

However, peace wasn't meant to last long. Some residents are mulling over the fact that these rules are flawed and can be exploited easily. Over the course of year, the city is slowly losing its title as multiple gangs started growing in numbers. Some are reported to be causing trouble throughout the municipality. As of now, there are about 20 known violent groups (from small-to-middle scale gangs) and a rumored syndicate group hidden within the grounds.

The Kizugawa Ward Local Police Force had already begun to make their move against these offenders of society, warranting a lifetime arrest to those who use resistance. Usage of firearms is minimal, mostly relying on batons, tazers and other non-lethal instruments and tactics to apprehend unarmed oppositions. And even against armed gangs and would-be escapees, the police could only fire non-lethal shots. This is because even the local police are forced to abide by the rules and not exempt from punishment.

Districts of Kizugawa Ward:

In this fictional setting of Kizugawa, the city is divided into multiple districts: North, West, East, South and Central. (Note that parts such as North-East, North-West, South-East and South-West are surrounded by bodies of water, so access there is a non-issue.)

Transit trains are used as the primary form of quick transportation throughout the city. Metro Rail Transits (MRT) and Light Rail Transits (LRT) allow people to move from one district to another, as well as leaving the city grounds.

Kizugawa Central

Central Kizugawa is the city's metropolis and the most-developed district. Majority of people go here everyday, as it is home to many recreational activities and business opportunities.

Population: 71,000 (estimated)

The only shopping mall in the city, it is the most bustling place in Central.

Central's Kizugawa Academy is the main branch of the institution as a whole, being a massive school and the only school among the branches that most of the "elites" go to. While anyone can attend, the academy tends to have a biased view on students, promoting and encouraging only the exceptional students. Students here usually come from the Eastern and Southern districts as they don't have mini-branches like the Northern and Western have.

Northern Kizugawa

Northern Kizugawa is known for the cherry-blossom trees that encompasses throughout the vicinity. It is also regarded as one of the quietest among the five districts.

Western Kizugawa is the district that is the most remote from Central. The area focuses more on agricultural and manufacturing businesses, with several farms that produce vegetables.

The sole market of the city located ideally at the agriculture-heavy Western district. It is a physical retail market, featuring foods sold directly by farmers to consumers. Fish, meat and other necessities are also imported and sold here.

Eastern Kizugawa

The Eastern district of Kizugawa is where the Kizu River, from which the city inherits its name, is located. It is considered the most culture-civilized district in the city, focusing on traditional architectures such as temples and shrines. Most of the infrastructures in the area are also culture-flavored, with homes leaning more on the classic Japanese tradition. It is the ideal tourist spot in the city.

Population: 25,000 (estimated)

The famous body of water for which the city is named after. It isn't any different from a normal river, but it is still a popular tourist spot. For years, it had maintained its pure cleanliness, due to bans against dirtying it.

2) Kawa-no-Kami Shrine

A shrine in homage to Kawa-no-Kami, the God of Rivers. It acts as the God with primary tutelage over the Kizu River. It is the most visited shrine in the area.

3) Tanaka Mansion (The Strays HQ)

4) Little Russian

A minimart located at Eastern Kizugawa, owned by Kanna Hirata. It sells pretty much what most convenience stores throughout the city would sell such as low-end groceries, magazines, ready-to-eat food, and the like. They also accept shipping orders. It is a quirky-named convenience store, as the "Little Russian" is nothing more than an ordinary Japanese minimart.

Southern Kizugawa

Southern Kizugawa is the least populated among the five districts of the city.

NOTE: This is a fictional basis of Kizugawa, Kyoto. The actual (IRL) Kizugawa is less populous than this RP's Kizugawa. I incorporated some stuff based on the IRL Kizugawa (such as the Kizu River), for a slightly enhanced realistic setting. Also, I only added some areas of interest, but not all of them as areas like rundown buildings, fast-food restaurants, convenience stores, alleyways and the like are already part of/commonplace in every city; thus it wasn't necessary to be added.

The Strays

Information:

The Strays are an independent yet organized small group of people operating in Kizugawa Ward, Kyoto prefecture. Even amongst the other gangs in the area, this group is considered "unorthodox". For one, they have no insignia that symbolizes their affiliation. They are considered a "blank" group who tends to keep a low profile. Despite this, the Strays have members who are dangerous such as a bandage-faced man capable of taking on an almost-dozen amount of delinquents.

However, what they do not know and will ever understand is the fact that the members of this street gang are actually a collection of teenage introverts, victims of bullying and outcasts that are often shunned by society; hence their name. And their members scout the area for people like them, inviting them into their group and promising that they won't be lonely ever again. Whenever their members get into a fight with lawless elements such as dangerous delinquent and thug groups, they usually have a reason for doing so; such as innocents being threatened.

Also, in comparison to other unruly gangs who are primarily increasing in power for their personal gains, The Strays aren't actively opposing nor oppressing other factions. They will only take action when one of their members are in danger. Individuals saved by their members defend their name from the media and regard them as "heroes". Apart from that, most of their members aren't well-recognized as they don't look and act the part of actual uncivilized gangsters, making them completely blend in with civvies.

Requirement(s) for membership:

The Strays isn't a public group like the other gangs that everyone can just join into. They scout for outcasts, such as bully victims and individuals separated from their families. While this would make them indifferent from the street gangs, members of this group are only looking for genuinely pitiable people with good qualities that screams "I don't like my life. But I don't like being alone". Fortunately or unfortunately in Kizugawa, numerous people with lives dictated by other people roam around the vicinity often.

The Strays do not ask anything in return for letting you join. It is of no significance if you wouldn't fulfill any role for the gang's gain. All that matters for the group is that you are a part of their family. The Strays are a collection of outcasts who will open arms for other outcasts, after all.

Rules:

1) Betrayal is unforgivable.

(The group will kick your ass the moment they find out that you had backstabbed them.)

2) Your actions will not be limited.

(You are free to roam around as if you were a civilian, but remember Rule #1.)

3) Family is important.

(Treat your fellow members with love, respect and care as they would treat you the same way.)

4) Never share information about the gang with other elements.

(Basically, the same as Rule #1.)

5) Open up to your fellow members.

(It doesn't matter where you came from or how you turned out to be. You will be a loner no longer. You are part of the family now.)

History:

The Strays were founded three years ago by Natsume Tanaka, Hirosaki Tomoyagi and Kimura Tatsujin. Under different circumstances, they met each other and eventually became good friends. All three of them had one thing in common; having suffered distasteful pasts. As if fate had arranged their encounters, the trio shared an unbreakable familial bond.

The two teenage boys were invited to the Tanaka mansion; courtesy of Ryuu Tanaka, Natsume's self-sustaining uncle. There, they hung out most of the time. Hirosaki would often challenge Natsume and Kimura to a sparring match in the family dojo. The trio also helped the old man maintain the stability of the massive abode. And for a few months that they've lived together, life was calm and serene.

That is, until tragedy befell the old man whom the trio considered their father figure. Ryuu decided to go out for the first time in a long while, planning to buy flower seeds for his beloved garden. He was found out by a group of delinquents who knew of the man's reputation as owner of the Tanaka family mansion. And with that, he was kidnapped. The trio left in the mansion was called out via phone by the group, demanding ransom in exchange for Ryuu's safety. The old man shouted over the phone and forbid them to come, but they wouldn't accept it. Kimura called for help from the police before setting off to save Natsume's uncle.

The trio arrived at an abandoned warehouse somewhere near Eastern Kizugawa, where their paternal figure was held captive. Despite Hirosaki's rant about wanting to save him immediately, Kimura urged him to approach the situation slowly and quietly. They navigated through the warehouse, trying to avoid attention. However, this failed when they saw Ryuu being interrogated and beaten up by the thugs. Enraged, Hirosaki immediately sprung into action, finally putting his training into good use by taking down several. The two followed immediately after, and with their combined skills and efforts, they defeated the delinquents.

While untying the old man, they were caught off-guard by one of the delinquents who brandished a knife and swinging it full-force at an unsuspecting Natsume's back. Being the only one to notice this disgusting act, Natsume's uncle immediately got in between them at the exact moment the delinquent made a puncturing hit.

Their reaction of horror, rage and sorrow were clear. Hirosaki offed the attacker with a vicious punch. However, he still wasn't done. Hirosaki was already filled with seething rage to the point where he could commit murder right there and then. Kimura held him back with difficulty, as Natsume wept in sorrow over Ryuu's weakened body. He was at death's door, bleeding out as he was impaled in the abdomen with prejudice. The old man had a pale but serene expression on his face, slowly making out words of farewell before finally passing on into the afterlife.

Their mourning was interrupted when the sound of sirens were heard approaching the abandoned warehouse. In tears, they were forced to flee from the scene, leaving his body behind. They returned to the mansion, with the fact of losing someone dear to them forever engraved into their hearts. The police contacted the mansion about an hour after the incident. Natsume, in the brink of tears, was given an offer by none other than the brash Hirosaki.

"Let's make our own family."

And on that sorrowful evening, it was just the three of them. It was difficult at first, trying to manage their lives in that massive abode now that the old man had departed. But eventually, they learned to live on their own. They named their group "The Strays", suggested by none other than Kimura.

Base of Operations:

The Tanaka mansion is a private family estate located at Eastern Kizugawa. It was solely owned and tended by Ryuu Tanaka, Natsume's uncle, before his passing. Being entitled to inherit the mansion, Natsume Tanaka now has free reign over the place. It is one of the biggest family mansions in the vicinity. Little did people know that the wealthy abode is primarily used as The Strays' HQ.

The mansion has only one gated entrance. The outside is massive, with a large clean and grassy landscape to cover. Thick white-painted stone walls covered by trees surround the estate. It has a small and well-tended flower garden, home to florets of various shapes, sizes and families. It also contains a small pond. Apart from that, there isn't much else outside apart from a spacey area, perfect for playing and having a picnic.

The estate has three interconnected buildings, each close to the other and separated by hallways: the largest being the main mansion, followed by the dojo and the storage hut.

The dojo is owned privately by Ryuu Tanaka. Despite his age, Natsume's uncle was quite the practitioner in martial arts. It contains various equipment such as dumbbells, punching bags and other fitness utilities.

The storage hut is well-kept and locked regularly. It is a rectangular room that serves as a dedicated place where various items and notable equipment can be stored and hidden. Fully furnished, it features numerous chests, cupboards and display cases.

The main mansion has a mud room in the entrance. It has a spacey living room, complete with a television set and gaming console for entertainment, as well as large comfy sofas. There is also a dining room and kitchen for eating, multiple spare rooms which now serve as bedrooms for the members, specialty rooms, a laundry room, and shower rooms now separated for men and women.

The meeting room is where the members of The Strays gather for briefing whenever a situation arises.

The Kimura Unit

The Kimura Unit is one of the official Special Action Forces (SAF) units in Japan. The Japanese Police Force constructs a yearly training program for new recruits. Eventually, a selected number of individuals (4-6 among thousands of recruits) whose performances in physical fitness and combat ability are considered remarkable will be tested in an actual field training. It may range from performing a solo raid operation on a convicted group to a rescue mission, something which may cost them their lives. When successful, they are judged if they are truly worthy based on their execution of said operation. Then, they are finally admitted into the Special Action Forces.

The SAF are the absolute best among the paramilitary units in the country, with fatality rates at an all-time low, if the subject is not completely irrelevant. They are well-equipped and highly-trained on multiple field assessments. They specialize in Counter-Terrorist operations as well as escorting and protecting VIPs. Acting against serious crime and performing high-risk tasks that can't be carried out by the regular police, they are an indispensable asset against the underground syndicate networks. As of now, there are only 13 units/squads admitted into the SAF; with few being veterans and acting as commanders of a portion of the Japanese Police Force. They are indeed the cream-of-the-crop, respected by fellow policemen and feared by organized criminals. They follow a strict sense of duty, fulfilling their roles for the sake of the nation.

The Kimura Unit has recently been admitted into the SAF as the newest official group to enter their ranks. Their members are only in their early adulthood, meaning that they are the youngest group of individuals in the SAF. They are treated as "child prodigies" with skills that match the other veterans. When their group was formed, their first few operations together were an absolute success and with minimum struggle. The group's first deployment was at a national bank in Okinawa, dealing with a hostage crisis that had transpired there. They managed to subdue the perpetrators without placing any of the hostages in danger.

The unit has gained nationwide recognition when their continuous operations against the underworld have reached exceptional and near-impossible heights. With the resources they had at their disposal, the Kimura Unit alone managed to infiltrate and disrupt one of the major business branches of the Yamaguchi-kai in Hagoro, Japan. To put things into perspective, four individuals who are at their early 20's took down by surprise, a group of almost a hundred people.

Note: Information about some of the affiliations listed above are found on the "Settings and Information" tab. Slots are only limited to The Strays (with only seven members at the start of the RP and increasing as the story progresses), the Kimura Unit and the Yamaguchi-Kai.
Follow all standard Iwaku rules, first and foremost.

IC-WISE:

1) Participants shall post ONLY their completed Character Sheets in this thread. The actual OOC/Plot discussions will be held in a separate thread.

2) Please follow the format stated below when creating your post in the IC thread. The format is located in the "Character Sheet and Post Format" tab.

3) There is no post-rotation in this RP. If your character gets interacted with by another character, feel free to reply as soon as you are able! You don't want to keep them waiting, do you?

4) NO Godmodding or Metagaming. No Gary Stu's or Mary Sue's (meaning your character is perfect and unbeatable). Make sure that the character will fit the realistic nature of the RP.

5) ABSOLUTELY NO ONE-LINERS! I worked hard to make this a quality roleplay. So, I'm expecting at least a detailed paragraph or more from you guys. Also, try to avoid grammar mistakes as much as possible.

6) Smut or anything that goes on the nature of Libertine is strictly forbidden in the IC thread. Romance is encouraged, blatant sexual content is discouraged. As is stated already, follow all standard Iwaku rules.

7) Only a maximum of 2 major characters can be created by each participant. However, you may create NPCs that will serve as minor/supporting characters.

OOC-WISE:

1) THIS RP WILL BE A LONG, LONG RIDE DEPENDING ON THE ACTIVITY OF THE PLAYERS AND THE GM. As much as possible, I would like this RP to last for a long time, or at least until the end of the "story". Join the roleplay ONLY if you feel lke you can stay for a long time. Of course, circumstances will happen in which you will be forced to leave the RP. Check Rule #2 regarding this.

2) PLEASE INFORM THE GM IF YOU ARE TO CONCLUDE YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE ROLEPLAY. This is the most important rule, in my case. I don't want a character vital to the story to just disappear without warning. It's one of the big things that will screw up the roleplay, apart from other factors. I understand that we're all eventually going to be busy. If you feel like you're busy or if you have your reasons to leave or if you have lost interest in the roleplay, please tell me.

If it's a temporary leave, for the time being your character(s) will either be:

Option 1: Personally controlled by me for the time being

Note: I can't assure the safety of your characters if I decide to control them when you make a temporary leave at the time the roleplay goes "south" (and by south I mean where the chapter's plot reaches its climax and the cast is in the middle of war).

Option 2: Given to other interested roleplayers for the time being

Feel free to communicate and plan with whoever gets to control your characters on how they can temporarily keep your character alive in the roleplay while you are away.

If you feel unsatisfied with the two options, there is Option 3, which I believe is the best option for you to go out with a bang.

Option 3: Your characters can make a farewell post.

Your farewell post may vary from your character(s) leaving the area/moving to another part of the country/moving to another country due to personal reasons.

If it's a permanent leave (as in you won't return in the RP because reasons), Option 3 is the best way to go. If the RP does go south by the time you make your leave, you may also make a Heroic Sacrifice (for example, buying enough time for the rest of the gang to make their escape or taking the bullet to protect someone).

3) While drama is encouraged in-character, I shall refrain drama of any kind happening in the OOC discussion.

4) This goes without saying but... Respect your fellow roleplayers as well as the characters they've created.

5) Enjoy the roleplay to the fullest. Have fun!

Physical Appearance: Hirosaki is a man of above average height (5'10'') and thin build (138 lbs.). He has disheveled auburn hair, blue eyes and relatively pale skin. His common attire consists of a pair of headphones around his neck, a blue shirt with a jacket vest, black pants with a white belt, a watch, and blue and red shoes. He wears white bandages across his nose and cheeks and on his arms, due to suffering injuries from his brawls. Despite this, Hirosaki doesn't seem to suffer any major illnesses and in fact, has a healthy lifestyle by training his body.

By constantly training himself and gaining experience from his brawls, Hirosaki had grown to be skillful in physical combat. Being proficient at hand-to-hand exchanges combined with enhanced reflexes and unpredictability due to his wild nature easily makes him one of the strongest, if not the strongest member of his gang.
History/Background: Hirosaki Tomoyagi was born to a middle-class family in Kizugawa Ward, Kyoto prefecture in Japan. He is the elder brother of Nagisa Tomoyagi, who was given birth two years later. He had a pretty decent childhood; playing with and taking care of his little sister being one the highlights of his youth. He always adored her for being able to sing well, even at such a young age. They would often go to the Kizu River by themselves; laying down in the grasslands and Hirosaki would often listen to her sing. For the most part, his early life didn't have any downsides.

... However, it was only that part of his life that didn't have any form of struggle.

He and her sister both studied at Kizugawa Academy in Central. As Hirosaki's high-school life progressed, it was painfully clear to him that his parents were slowly turning away from him in favor of his younger sister, Nagisa. Why wouldn't they? She had top-notch grades, enough to make it to the Top 3 of her year. She was also popular among her peers, athletic and good with people. She was, for sure, entitled success in her life. He, despite being more athletic than her sister, doesn't get respect for his abysmal grades and lazy behavior. His classmates bully him for it, often reminding him that her sister is better off without a trash brother like him. This continued for a long while, and despite having hardened himself for his failure, reached his limit and eventually gave up.

Finally losing all interest in academics, he started cutting classes. Not like he mattered to his parents, anyway. He knew for a fact as well as judging from their parents' actions that Nagisa was the only one that mattered to them. The fact was further cemented when he heard from one of his former classmates that Nagisa and their parents left Kizugawa and that she was pursuing a career as an idol. Then and there, he realized that he truly was unneeded.

For a month, Hirosaki became a lone wolf, wandering around the streets of Kizugawa. He had no money on his person, so he had to resort to stealing food. There were days where he looked pale due to hunger. It were at times like these when he learned to be resourceful. He also picked fights with some delinquents that wouldn't leave him be. He lacked physical training, but managed to get through due to his sheer determination... and something else entirely. Strangely, he seemed to be enjoying himself as he constantly beat thugs with his own barehands. It was as if the feeling of kicking someone's ass was his "calling" in life.

One day, when he was living the remnants of his lacking life at Eastern Kizugawa, he met an old man who had bumped into him, carrying a big basket of flowers. Despite being a delinquent, Hirosaki doesn't act aggressive to those who do not deserve it, and therefore held no grudges, helping him with rearranging the fallen flowers on said basket. The old man, calling himself Ryuu Tanaka, invited the young man to his abode and offered tea as an apology for his clumsy action earlier. To his flabbergast, Ryuu was actually the owner of one of the biggest homes in the district.

When he was offered tea by the old man, he immediately followed up with an inquiry: "You're astray, aren't you young man?" The question alone pierced through him, as flashbacks of his life in the past came back to haunt him. Hirosaki slowly nodded in silence as tears formed in his eyes.

There, he met two of the people who would eventually change his life... Natsume and Kimura.

Natsume Tanaka was Ryuu's niece. She constantly trains at the private family dojo also owned by the old man.

Physical Appearance: The man known as Kenji stands approximately 5'10, weighing approximately 165 lbs. When not on a job, he is often seen wearing a large black coat paired with a collared dress shirt and slacks, as well as a solid black tie. He also always has his signature shades which he never goes anywhere without. He can generally be found reading a book or smoking a cigarette, sometimes both.

Kenji isn't in horrible condition. Despite his smoking habits, it hasn't affected him all that much as he is still quite capable of doing physically strenuous activities. He always talks about quitting, he just hasn't found the right time yet. Or so he claims. He does have quite a few scars from when he was younger, but with his talented tongue and manipulation, he hasn't gotten into too many scraps lately.

In a tight situation, don't look towards Kenji to back you up. He'll probably already be hauling ass down the street. The man known as Clayface isn't a fighter by any means, and is known to disappear at a moments notice. He's been in enough situations to tell when things are going south, and quick feet and smooth talking have served as his keys to escaping danger time and time again.
History/Background: As a child, Kenji was raised by his two parents in a very comfortable, middle classed neighborhood. With his father a detective, and his mother a doctor, Kenji and his sister Nina grew up without too many major hardships. Their Father, Yamamoto, was a decorated and well known detective throughout the precinct with multiple cases under his belt, while their mother, Eria, was the head of the Psychology Department at the town's hospital. Kenji and his sister attended a private school, where they excelled extremely well, her in Language, and him in Drama.

The Crown King Murders:

In the spring of Kenji's 13th birthday, Detective Toramura took a case that would come to be known as the 4th Street Murders. Three of the town's citizens had been brutally murdered. For the most part, the acts all seemed random, and yet one thing tied them all together; a small golden ring in the shape of a crown was always left at the scene.

For two years, Kenji's father worked tirelessly on the case, and for two years he came up empty. Then one day while sitting at his desk, Yamamoto noticed that one of the officers passing by had a large tan line that circled the ring finger on his left hand. The only thing that made it noteworthy was that the tan seemingly had jagged edges. After a brief moment, Kenji's father made the connection. The murder was a cop. But was it just one? Over the next couple days, Kenji watched his coworkers and realized that many of them had similar tan lines. Realizing what was going on, Kenji approached the Chief of police, a man named Mizuno. In a private meeting, he explained to the Chief what he'd discovered as well as his theory. Mizuno agreed with his theory, and two worked together to set a trap for the murderous sect that occupied the force. However, it was all a trap; one that resulted in Yamamoto receiving a bullet to the back of the head. Unbeknownst to Detective Toramura, Chief Mizuno was the mastermind behind the Crown Murders. In order to hide the detectives findings, the Chief ordered one final hit on Kenji and his family in order to tie up any loose ends. Not an hour after Toramura's body was found floating in the rivers of their hometown, officers came to Kenji's home. Feigning sadness and offering false condolences, the officers entered the house, attempting to "comfort" a shock-striken family.

Then the shooting began.

In an instant, one of the officers drew his silenced pistol and shot Eira point-blank in the chest. The other shot down Nina in a heartbeat. The pair then turned to eliminate Kenji, but the poor boy was already gone, running as fast as his legs could carry him. The officers attempted to catch him, but were unable to do so when the boy leapt off a bridge into a river and disappeared. Believing Kenji had not survived the fall, the officers returned to the precinct, reporting to Mizuno that it had been all taken care of. The next day, Chief Mizuno and the rest of the 33rd made a public statement, claiming the murders of the Crown King had continued, and that they had taken Toramura and his family.
The case was never solved.

"No one is who they seem, Kenji. Always remember that."
Waking up on a riverbank outside of town, Kenji was lost. He had nothing. Without food, water, or a place to call home, Kenji left home and walked as far as he could until he reached a sector of a nearby city, a place known as the Kizugawa Ward. There he spent the rest of his teenage years growing up in poverty, his heart filled with a hatred for all forms of law enforcement. The years were rough, and the young Toramura spent many a night living in cardboard boxes eating out of trashcans. The only thing that fueled his will to live was to avenge his family, and to erase the police force permanently, wherever he found them. For three years, Kenji involved himself in police cases, secretly tampering with evidence and wreaking havoc on the police of the Kizugawa Ward. When he was sixteen, he was caught, and was sentenced to two years behind bars for tampering with evidence in over 300 cases. During his time in jail, the young man did nothing but read, studying psychology, human behavior, and science. When he was finally released, Kenji returned to his path, this time with more knowledge and experience. His first job was a personal one.

Return home, and avenge his family.

Returning to his home was rough on him, but he was no longer a scared boy. Now, he was a man on a mission. Over the course of three weeks, he meddled in the lives of every member of the 33rd Precinct police force that had been there when his father was murdered. He turned their families against them, emptied their bank accounts, framed them for crimes, and made it his mission to destroy their lives the way they had destroyed his. Finally, only one victim remained; Chief Mizuno, the mastermind of the Crown Murders, now three years retired.

The night before Kenji left, he visited the Chief in his home, disguised as a Officer Omaeda, a new rookie officer for the 33rd. Claiming he'd wanted to meet the great Mizuno, the retired Chief let him in, running at the mouth of his great accomplishments. As the pair sat down in front of the blazing fireplace and told stories, Kenji dug into his shirt pocket, removing a small envelope.

"Oh, Chief, I have something for you; a gift from my father."

"Really? I'm sorry, I don't believe I know your father. Was he a member of the 33rd?" The Chief tore open the envelope, and watched in shock as a small crown ring fell into his hand. The room fell silent; Mizuno realizing who Omaeda really was.

"He was." Kenji rose from his seat, taking a couple steps towards the window. As he stared out into the night, he was ready. This moment was something he felt he'd been waiting for his entire life.

"He was your best friend...and you killed him."

Turning around swiftly, Kenji drew out a silenced pistol and shot the retired Chief in the back of the head.

"Breaking News: Retired Chief Mizuno was found dead this morning by his housekeeper, a crowned ring in his posession. Is the Crown King back? And what does this mean for us, the citizens? We'll find out after this short break."

When Kenji finally returned to the Kizugawa Ward, he felt emptier than before. Was it loneliness? Maybe. Pain? Possibly. Anger? Absolutely. Vowing to never forget what happened between the police and his family, Kenji donned the mantle of the Crown King; the last crown ring seated comfortably on his left hand.

Two years have passed since then, and Kenji has only become better at what he does. Nowadays, he's an independent hand-for-hire. His hatred for law enforcement hasn't changed either. If you need to find the slippery character known as Clayface, look for his symbol; The symbol of the Crown King.
Personality/Daily Life: Kenji is a shifty character known to turn on his allies in a moments notice. He trusts no one and always puts himself first. He doesn't speak all too often either, but when he does he is very blunt. His skills of manipulation are only counterbalanced with his cowardice as a person. While he can easily fake confidence or arrogance, his true self is very much a coward, fearing the idea of anyone knowing the real him.

Due to his actions over many years, Clayface has many enemies in the Kizugawa Ward, as well as many people who owe him favors. Viewed by many as a necessary evil due to his abilities, he roams the streets as a shadow, listening, watching, studying; always preparing for his next job. If you need a situation fixed smoothly, he's your man. Just don't expect it to be free.

Currently, Clayface isn't the member of any gang or association. He's simply a lone wolf trying to swindle his way through life. General Information: Full Name: Katagawa, Sotaru

Nickname and origin of nickname: Orizuru (Paper Crane) In his youth Sotaru used to be bullied, and took quickly to being skilled in running away as well as street parkour, the name came about as, he crumpled like paper and would "fly" like a crane given the chance. Later on while his physical prowness improved the name stuck more so in his basketball team.

Do they like the nickname given to them?: No. In fact it tends to meet with a smart remark in return, mostly how this paper crane will kick your ass. Fitting, if not by his own vindictiveness, he studied Fujian (white crane) style Kung-fu as a club elective when enrolled in the local high school. Though there are a few people he'll allow to use it with no offense taken.

Short of this every insult one can call a cop, which he normally shrugs off.

Fashion style: Rather casual and clean, tends to mostly wear his uniform with its Kevlar vest. Off duty style still remains casual, mostly sport shorts, jeans, jersey. Not prone to wearing accessories. Rather bland if modern.

Health condition: Physically fit, mentally sound (from a point of view), moral compass is shaky.

Any prominent scars/burns on the character's being?: Scaring on left knee from a nasty fall in one of his first "escape attempts" attempts as a child. In addition there is a punture wound on his lower chest from an incident in his youth.

Combat abilities: Three years of Fuijin Kung-fu as elective at local high school martial arts club, obtained first level of black belt, which while respectable is not too advanced. Sotaru learned Taiho-Jutsu (similar to Krav Maga) as part of standard police training at the academy. The art is mostly comprised by Kendo and Judo and has a focus on disarming and restraining an opponent. Given the nature of Taiho-jutsu, Sotaru's own variant of training empathized Akido.

In addition Sotaru knows basic marksmanship, and the use of firearms. Though Japanese training and his own disposition reserves them as a means of last resort or where opposing force is an issue.
History/Background: Biography:

Sotaru original hails from the far south of Japan on the Island of Okinawa, life was rathersimple there, but carried a deep impact for Sotaru. His father, Kenzo, was a construction worker and a bit of an alcoholic, his mother, Kaede, did various odd jobs. Minus some bullying in school and the occasional domestic disturbance cases it wasn't all that bad, by the time he was eight years old, another brother came crying and screaming into the world.

There father left soon after, in part as he didn't want to deal with the situation, taking a "loan" and skipping town for parts unknown. In the following years between the loan and caring for the two boys, Kaede had taken up work in a local factory while still doing her side tasks, mostly sewing and had little time for the family. Sotaru remained resentful, until the summer of that fifth year when hings took a turn for the worse.

A Policeman had visited, his mother had a stress induced stroke. Having developed an irregular heartbeat and damage to her short term memory, she was no longer fit to care for the children. Being transferred for specialist medical care, the two brothers were placed under state care. Sotaru did his best to keep the family together, and ultimately somewhat succeeded with small part time jobs and keeping with his studies through the years, he had little to no time for socialization, doing a task far beyond his years, mostly out of a sense of guilt, it also helped his grandparents on his mothers side provided help when they were able, for that he is greatful.

As noted before, somewhat. Over the course of the next few years relations between the two brothers were occasional, with the teenage Sotaru shutting his younger brother out of most of his situation. Such as coming home worn out, or with bruises. Over time that situation seemed to change with him being less beaten. If the two had any good moments it might be when the pair attended Sotaru's basketball games. Earning a scholarship by doing a bit of the "dirty work" of beating down fellow students for his teachers, and by having a good enough grade average it was little surprise when Sotaru earned a spot at Kyoto University.

What was a surprise was his long simmering vindictiveness, and the fact he would return a couple years later to Kizugawa Ward wearing a police badge and a shit eating grin across his face. For the last four years Sotaru climbed up the ranks to Sergeant, though after his two year absense not all
was as before.

Not too pleased on what his kid brother Takashi has been up to, Bit by bit he has seen less, to nothing at all. Sotaru intends to straighten his misguided sibling. Personally and if need be physically, but first the other trash needed to be reminded of their place.
Personality: Negatives: Sotaru is a very vindictive man, even if he has to wait weeks, months, years, he will see to it his brand of justice is carried out. Fortunately this is reasonable and not for every little offense. With a provocative nature, he's given to butting heads with criminals in the hopes they'll give him the justification to use force. Sotaru also is not a by the bookcop, he'll take bribes for minor issues, or ignore them all together, such as jaywalking, or a scowl and slap to the back of ones head for theft, with a demand the item is returned or handed over to him.

Sotaru also isn't given to showing much in the way of emotion, which lead to the straining of relations between him and his younger brother (name here). Always ready for a fight, Sotaru is zealous and willing to get his hands dirty over what he sees as problems. Otherwise he can be lethargic, or skirting some laws himself, such as using his well honed parkour skills to cross property fences when it suits him, rather than taking the long way to an area.

Generally will not "understand" what most tourists have to say when asking for information, bumming the task off to someone else, unless money is involved, then he's all too happy to answer. Sotaru has a rather forceful personality, demands and arrogance, rather than negotiations and debate are more likely to come from his mouth in a given situation.

Positives: Sotaru for all of his faults is rather familial with his duties as the oldest son, while emotionally detached, he's always made sure an allowance reached his brother, and that his mother was doing well in the hospital. In general an agreement with Sotaru can be trusted. Having a kind nature with children and women around his age, Sotaru also follows his orders for the most part, and believes in defending the weak, he is very sporting with most of his personal dealings as well, even if they have earned his ire.

Sotaru also has limits to what he'll overlook in the grander scheme of things. While Sotaru is no hero, he's not total scum, though he for sure has more in common with the various gangs in the city than with the Metro Police in Tokyo. In general this also opens some doors from older members of the community who see him as a quarrelsome yet ultimately good man to have around who while strongly opinionated tries to always be fair and well mannered with a respect that most in this ward lack. While possessing a strong if violent will, he can be reasoned with, if a person has patience.

Hobbies: Basketball, Martial arts. Seems to teach a morning routine as a guest visitor to elementary schools in the Prefecture. He also helps with small tasks around the neighborhood, primarily from the elderly, former teachers, and the city management. Most of whom know his past and present dealings, seeing him as a needed brand of Justice rather than a high collar buffoon from Tokyo.

Because of this when in or out of uniform, Sotaru, or Officer Katagawa is not an odd sight, doing various tasks for the elderly, teaching school children defence or in the ultimate irony the need of sharing problems with the police. If he had any purely selfish hobies, it would likely be the fact he can't help but "not" use the traditional door on a search or entry, still having his high speed, high flying street running burried deep within his core.

Likes: Bribes to overlook small things or to talk about some things, when criminals don't surrender and the subsequent beat down he hopes to deliver.

Dislikes: Drinking, bars, "working girls", harmful criminal acts, preying on the weak, physically lazy people, people who sulk over personal issues and those who spend money wastefully. Deadbeat parents, alcoholics and loan sharks. The Later three he tends to deal with rather harshly.

Fears: While he has never said it, nor likely will unless pressed, with him physically taking after his father, and his brother their mother, he harbors a feeling that what happened to his mother was his fault, at his age he could have gotten a part time job, before that he could have told the police or social workers about his father, and ended that situation and hopefully have reformed him. Because of this hidden burden, he fears becoming like him. And that he may harm his brother if he stays around him too long, given that proved to be the catalyst for how the pairs life ended up. Though he doesn't blame him for those events.

He also fears one day, while his mother does it off and on, that she may one day forget the two of them all together. Or that her heart may catch up and kill her. Because of this, minus holiday visits or texts, he avoids both his brother and mother sending them money as needed. Though having finished his courses, and his brother turning up to their home less and less, he now fears that his brother may end up like their father. Something he won't allow.

Other than that he has normal tolerances to pain, and won't actively seek to harm himself, but general doesn't have any typical phobia, such as heights or animals, but no love for them either. If there is any additional fears its likely of failure and other psychologically self inflicted worries and concerns.

Extras: Sotaru has access to firearms, and a handgun on him. But given strict weapon laws in Japan even for the police its rare for them to use them thus consider it a non-factor unless he's in a situation where a weapon has been drawn, armed criminals are known to be present, or a "siege" type event is underway, otherwise he normally in a melee weapon situation will use his baton.

Holds a degree in basic law enforcement and while he had passing grades in school his mental prowness isn't much above your typical PE teacher. Short of being a cop thats about all else he's qualified to do.

Fashion style: Lacking. Kanna most wears what she can affoard or is comfortable in, such as addias and other off brand sports wear or military surplus styled items, namely coats or winter clothing. When it comes to normal fashion, trends and the like she doesn't keep up with or know. Nor does she own anything one could call cute. It seems this is more due to money than not liking cute clothing, though there is some hesitation on her part to try on such items.

Of note is Kanna's bust is larger than it may seem at first, being a lower C or upper B, her habit of wearing loose clothing, sports bras or no bras tends to hide this fact.

Health condition: Largely in good health Kanna is physically fit, though her diet is a mess consisting of mostly junk or cheap food products, lacking in some nutrients she depends on vitamins for most of this. Combat abilities: Kanna has a rather violent history in street fights being a known factor to the police department for her preference for using a baseball bat. Having no real offical fight training she grew skilled by practical use. Being banned from the School's Softball Team for her Violent behavior and later the Women's Wrestling Club for her underhanded means of combat are noteworthy. While she is capeable of holding her own in a fight and then some, her skills likely aren't on par with a trained fighter in a head to head fight, plus her small frame and weight can be disadvantagous.
History/Background: "Why would you want to know that? Alright, fine."

Biography:

Kanna's life was a rather unique situation, or at least how it came to be, born to a Russian Mother and a Japanese father the family of three seemed to be a nice family that ran an import export business. Or so it seemed.

Her mother named, Katalyna Petrova Aleksikya, and Father Gato Hirata were smugglers. Katalyna was a mid ranking Russia Mafia member and Gato was a small time crook native to the Wards that engaged in a bit of poaching and low level smuggling in the local area, seeing a business opportunity the pair, and with some agreement from her bosses, married with her immigrating to Japan to help allow the Mafia to grow its clout into the local area.

As part of their cover once time went on the pair had one child, Kanna. Given this was more of a business arrangement the house was lacking in love and focused mostly on its business with Kanna left to her own devices, while the situation had its ups and downs, life was rather stable, and Kanna's involvement in the "family trade" was rather low key, serving as a lookout or distraction at most, though she did pick up more than that from simple curiocity. Both parents having no love for one another didn't mean they didn't love their daughter, not wanting her to follow their path the were on. Both were rather relieved with her tales of the boy she became friends with named Takashi.

Having lived in the ward all her life as a "mutt" Kanna found making friends difficult, but readily befriend the young boy she met one day at the park named Takashi Katagawa. Given the situation of her life and upbringing, she often took to picking on him to show her affection, often forcing him to play with her, and listing to his problems with his brother when he would speak of them. Given the nature of her patents work this was one of the few sunny spots the Child had, everyone else seemed to pick on her or attempt so.

However by her 14th year of age the family hit its first speed bump. Katalyna was captured in a deal with local Yakuza to purchase AK's from Russia when a Police bust captured her, initially impressing her some strings were pulled and she was released on a plane to Vladivostok with a one way ticket and deportation notice with a ban on her ever entering Japan again. Given this shakeup and the money owed to the Local Yakuza, Gato had to take on more and more risky work. Kanna her self hadn't developed many social ties and her attempts at school sports had decidedly mixed results.

Which would end in his Death little under a year later. While smuggling of all things fish from North Korea Gato would be intercepted by the North Korean Border guard who subsequently fired upon the ship injuring and killing several of the crew until they surrendered. As if the Situation and her own ill manner of being raised wasn't bad enough the situation became worse.

Having to move in with her Grandfather, Isamu Hirata, the man had zero affection for the girl at all. While he seen to her every physical need, he was a the owner of a chain of supermarkets and Gas Stations throughout the ward so money was no issue. That being said he was a very prideful man, who strongly disapproved of his son, his wife, and their daughter, believing he got what was coming to him. As a result any mistakes Kanna made or failings would result in lengthy talks, or rather insults from the old man on how much of trash they all were.

Given this stress on top of her unresolved issues Kanna grades plummeted as a result until at the age of 16 she was simply kicked out of her school. Isamu having reached his limit simply signed over one of his stores to her, and told her simply "Sink or Swim." Cutting her from all ties, the Mini-mart would be all she would get, her fate was her own.

With this sudden cold shoulder if not for her knowledge of her family activities she would have sunk. The only thing during this period that kept her from suicide was picking on Takashi from time to time and making the most of that, a fact she has never mentioned but is painfully ware of. Though she doubt he knew. Given her violent history, baseball bat and manner of being, he assumed her to be a delinquent though he would at times come to crash at her store at least.

His brother Sotaro proved unusually helpful and not as judgemental as he seemed, while a Jerk shes noticed he'll check up on her time to time, though when he brings up his brother whatever is on his mind quickly switches to one form of business or another. Among police and people, the Katagawa's are among the few shes developed any use or feelings for.

As of now the years have passed and the worsening crime wave has made her struggling business is now slowly collapsing, and sudden re-established ties with her mother while estranged has her half considering turning to other means to make money, or ending it all once and for all.
Personality: Negatives: Kanna tends to be crude, rude, and not all that well mannered. Ignoring most people shes either playful or picking to those she feels an affection for. Which can be confusing to say the least. Quick to anger or to use violence, she often will see what is in a situation for herself, asking for payment even when she wishes to help, though small.

She also has issues with seeing her own self worth, and lacking in self esteem minus in a few areas. While not paranoid her former outgoing attitude has largely diminished into uncertain observation, or a more bored with life attitude if not Aggressive submissive. Short of watching her own products her observational or awareness skills aren't the best. Lacking in some general knowledge, though this doesn't seem to affect her ability to learn, what does is her shattered self confidence in this regard.

Positives:

Kanna fortunately does have some redeeming features, her store and living quarters tends to be surprisingly clean and well maintained. And she is very honest, minus in battle at least. While a double edged sword giver how she looks down upon herself, she is ready to go further than most in situations where she's at risk. Kanna also can show surprising amounts of concern or kindness if awkwardly.

In spite of her own opinion shes actually rather good with kids and has some surprising knowledge, outside of the considerable amounts and connections. She currently makes little to no use of these "friends" of her parents old occupation, though that could change in time. She can be a good conversationalist when she knows a person well enough, and will listen to their problems. When happy she can be surprisingly well behaved and in general doesn't hold grudges.

Hobbies: Tends to know a bit about older games one could play with simple items. Such as Kendama, Cats cradle and menko among others. Running or walks also are something shes taken a liking too. Other than this she tends to know a few birds from sight and is something of a novice bird watcher, that fact is largely unknown to most.

Likes: Vodka, Mayonnaise, sweets, parks, simple games, fresh meat and foodstuffs, compliments, paying customers, people she can count on, sales and also she harbors strong feelings for Takashi.

Dislikes: Crowds, deep water, water she can't see through, spicy foods, those who bring up her race or past carelessly, idiots who want to start a fight with her, shop lifters, most cops and her family.

Fears: A number of fears dealing with abandonment, rejection, and crowds affect Kanna to some degree, which is in part why she has never told her feelings to Takashi, given her poor interactions in the past, her Grand fathers treatment and the fate of her family, she has deep anxiety or fear of these situations.

She is however terrified of deep bodies of water. While one could drag her to a pool or shallows any attempts to go futher will likely be met with hysterics and violence.

Takashi Katagawa: Taking a liking to him as one of the few kids that would play with her, he was fun to push around a bit and make play which likely helped him more than shes aware. In recent years he's became the only dependable feature for her, with on or the other eventually finding their way to the other. Given fear she has yet to bring up her situation or affections for him directly. Though at times her flags for the Childhood friend do trip.

Sotaru Katagawa: One of the few cops she respects, given he tends to agree or help with her way of handling shop lifters. Not afraid to get his hands dirty, though his attitude is as bad as hers...given this the pair seem to get along rather well, and often talk business, understanding that both of them like kickbacks and little in formalities. Though she wonders why he has such problems with his younger brother, given her policy she doesn't ask, though that also seems to be a two way street with him and his cocern for her and Takashi.

Isamu Hirata: Her relationship with he grandfather is one of pain, greatful for even as little as she got shes barely able to survive, having a feeling of hate as well shes never sure of what to feel about him. In part he is prideful, arrogant and unforgiving. Its hist fault in large that Kanna became the violent psychological mess she is today with his constant barrages of insults and putdowns.

While one could say thats not a major thing, they likely haven't met the man.

Katalyna Hirata: Kanna's mother, currently resides in Russia doing her work for the Mafia as always, while a terrible mother in most regards, now that she has some stability she made some effort to contact her daughter after learning Gato's fate. The pair seem to be estranged with Katalyna taking a semi-active observation of her daughters life and the later proving to be an uphill battle to get any information out of. So far the path between these two may clash or cross sooner and in more ways than they expect.

Kanna herself harbors no ill will towards her mother, but unsure feelings and distrust lingers.

Hamamo Banri dresses sharply, someone who goes business professional wherever he goes. Of course, in Japan, that just makes him look like an overworked salaryman who doesn't make a distinction between work life and social life. Even at home, the least he'll wear is a white, collared shirt and a pair of pressed trousers. Shorts and flipflops, regardless of how heinous the temperature is, will never be associated with him.

Fitness is an obsession for him. Banri spends two hours every day planning his meals out to maximize nutrition and minimize blandness. His body is hardened and toned, his physical abilities having reached their peak in his lifetime. At his age, the only thing that's failing him is his eyesight, making reading a headache if he doesn't have his glasses.

There's often a variety of bruises and small cuts on his body at any given time, but they're well-tended. Nothing lasts long enough to be considered a badge of courage or anything silly like that.

Ten years of intense boxing lessons, fuelled by passion and determination, has made Yuuki a fairly dangerous person. Though he hasn't won any championships or made a name for himself on a national scale, it doesn't particularly matter to him. His reputation on the streets is enough.

> HIS STORY <
Banri was a simple kid with simple desires. His parents were middle-class, and his grandparents owned a farm in the countryside. All he wanted to do was have fun in life, and his parents were kind enough to allow for that. He was that kid who ran around soccer field with the others, kicking half-deflated balls around. He was that kid who would stay outside of his buddy's house during a sweltering summer day, shouting for them to come out and play. He was filled with energy and courage, doing a whole lot of sketchy things for the sake of adventure. After all, back then, what Banri wanted to be the most was a superhero.

In junior high, he met a cute girl and they hit it off quite well. Going by the name of Imai Ai, she was a curious, inquisitive, and yet restrained girl, and it was the mystery of her personality and circumstances that drew him in. Eventually, they became a couple, after a confession in his second year on the school rooftop. Happy times were abound, as a boy with a girlfriend, best friends, and sports friends. Then, one night, she told him about those mysterious circumstances that surrounded her.

Parents that were never home. A little brother that was always starving. Afternoons and evenings spent with older 'gentlemen'. And money. Never enough money.

The mystery was deeper, darker, more disgusting than he had imagined, and Banri rejected it. He played it off as a joke and broke her heart.

She never showed up at school again.

A month later, while walking around the downtown district of Kizugawa, he saw a familiar face in a dark alley, pressed against a wall, tears welling up. He turned and walked away.

Half a year later, while sneaking in the R-18 section of a video shop due to a dare, he saw a familiar face on a new video, that familiar body burnt into orange, that familiar hair bleached blonde. He vomited.

A year later, Banri stopped lying to himself. His self-deception turned into self-loathing, and he began to get his shit together. Things were too far gone now. He was never going to see her again. She was never going to be the same again. He hardened his heart, hardened his fists, and began to learn boxing.

He graduated high school and worked at Lawsons, while learning about stocks. After getting a large enough war chest, he became a day trader with some success, earning enough to eke a small living. But his social and monetary status didn't matter. What mattered was his nocturnal activities.

Kizugawa was turning out for the worse.

The police weren't going to focus on the minor crimes.

Thus, what is required is another form of enforcement to keep the thugs in line.

A symbol of violence and vigilantism.

He allowed someone he loved to fall between the cracks and break into pieces.

He wasn't going to let that happen to anyone else.

Hard-working, steadfast, and stalwart, Banri is someone who is driven. He is tenacious, a man always seeking to surpass himself, and his ability to concentrate on the goal at hand is rather amazing. Though as polite and courteous as any other Japanese adult, he's willing to bend a few rules to get things done. His ability to initiate and hold a conversation is lacking, awkward silences often arising, but Banri's considerate nature is enough to make up for that social awkwardness. A lot of the times, he gives off the impression of someone who has a lot of words, but no intention of letting them out.

His considerate nature, though, is just another 'rule' that he's willing to bend to get things done. Banri is ultimately someone who seeks redemption through violence, and he's not even doing it the proper way. He has set small-time thugs as his 'enemy', and is an incredibly linear, small-minded idiot. After all, there were countless idiots trying to be 'gangsta' while living the 'thug life'. Just beating up a few of them every night isn't enough to save anyone. And yet, this 'heroic' choice is what he goes down, and though Banri has been lucky so far, that luck may not last. Violence begets violence, and he is only human.

Combat abilities (if any): She's extremely good at hand-to-hand combat and getting into a real fight with her is very dangerous for the person she is fighting. This is because she has spent years working on her combat skills and her temper adds to it. She knows a bit of basic hand gun use but it usually isn't her thing. She has more recently taken it up, so it'll take time to learn how to use a gun better.
History/Background: Natsume was born to a prestigious and wealthy family that didn't want her. Her parents did not want a child. Natsume was an accident, however, because her parents didn't want to ruin their reputation in society they didn't get rid of the child or put her up for adoption when she was born. But, that wasn't a good thing for Natsume. Since her parents didn't want her, they didn't take care of her very well. They did a good enough job when she was a baby but when she started to get old enough, she had to do everything for herself. She had to cook, wash her old cloths, so on.

Her parents ignored her most of the time, or treated her like a stain on their family. They punished her often for nothing at all, and made her stay in her room a lot. She needed something to do so Natsume spent her time in her room reading and learning a lot of skills and knowledge. There was one place that was solace for Natsume though, her uncle's mansion. Her uncle, Ryuu Tanaka was the sole owner of the Tanaka Mansion. Ryuu treated Natsume more like a father than an uncle and invited her over often. There she would learn how to fight with him at his Dojo and help out around the place in order to get money. After she was old enough her parents forced her to pay for her own things at home, so Ryuu paid her for helping out at the Dojo.

Natsume had wanted to move in with Ryuu, an offer he had given her but her parents wouldn't allow it, still because of their reputation. Although her parents and the rest of her family didn't care about her, she did feel like she had a home with Ryuu. He made her happy.

Natsume grew older and the girl meant Kimura Tatsujin by accident one day when she didn't have enough money to buy a soda. He was the first friend that Natsume had made. Then, along came Hirosaki Tomoyagi. He had shown up in Natsume's life because it wanted to fight her after hearing she was strong. The girl refused though, but that didn't stop Hirosaki from continuously bugging her about it. Eventually, this meant he was around all the time and hung out with her and Kimura, so the two just figured he would become their friend. Hirosaki became Natsume's second friend.

Everything was good for a while. Kimura and Hirosaki would come over to the Tanaka Mansion to hang out. Natsume finally felt like she had a family. But, that happiness ended one evening. Ryuu was kidnapped and held hostage by a gang. Natsume had called the police when she found out, but they would do nothing about it. So, she, Kimura and Hirosaki went to save her uncle. A fight broke out, and eventually the three friends were winning. They had gotten her uncle and everything seemed like it was going to be okay. Until one of the gang members lashed out with a knife towards Natsume. Ryuu moved in the way to protect Natsume and the knife went into Ryuu instead. A wound that would kill him.

"Be happy, Natsume." His last words to her, with a smile on her face. Natsume fell into despair, the first time the girl had ever cried. She had lost the only family that cared for her. Unable to do anything through the pain, Hirosaki took down the man with the knife and then carried Natsume out of the place. It wasn't until after the incident that the police had shown up, late.

It was then that "The Strays" were formed by the idea suggested by Hirosaki to Natsume. It took some time for Natsume to get over the death of her uncle. Natsume found out that her uncle had named her the sole heir to the mansion, thus making Natsume the owner now. She lives there now, and uses it for both teaching and the gang's Headquarters. Although, Natsume still changed forever. She doesn't trust the police anymore since they didn't nothing for her uncle and it is possible that dangerous mode when she is angry was born when she lost her uncle. She has gain more prestige herself thanks to becoming the mistress of the Tanaka Mansion, but she is also the leader of "The Strays".
Personality/Daily Life: Natsume doesn't listen to authority; rather she does what she wants. She is actually quite smart but chooses not to care too much about school because it is boring and too simply to her. Considering her leadership role, she is a strong leader in many ways such as a good speaker to her members as well as surprisingly very physically strong despite her tall yet thin stature. While most of the time she passes as a cool badass kind of character, she can be more sensitive and caring towards her gang members who learn that she can be more venerable and clumsy than she lets on.

She's rebellious and can be very dangerous if needed. She can get a temper, but she usually is cool and level headed on the outside unless provoked to show her temper. If her temper comes out, no one should be around her. She is destructive and will hurt someone badly if they give her reason to. That is why she is called the Demonic Angel because she can be very scary if she loses her temper.

Hirosaki Tomoyagi | Best Friend: Natsume's best friend. They meant when he challenged her to a fight when he heard she was very strong. Natsume refused but he wouldn't give in. Eventually, the two just ended up as friends after time went on. He was the one the most that helped her get through the death of her uncle. She cares about him very much and enjoys him being by her side. He is most likely the most important person in her life and she never wants to lose him ever. She calls him Hiro for sort.

Kimura Tatsujin | Ex-best friend: They were once good friends, very good friends until he left the gang. Natsume couldn't handle the betrayal and seems to have mixed feelings. She misses her old friend, yet is very angry and wants to hurt him for him leaving and the gang.

Remi Yamada | Fellow Gang Member/Friend: Natusme saved Remi from a gang of bullies. She simply walked into their group and took Remi out of there, simply saying that she could join their gang. The bullies wanted to fight Natsume for it, but all she had to do to prevent them from doing anything was give them a look. After that, Remi joined the gang and the two have pretty much become something like friends.

History/Background: Remi's father and mother meant while her mother was taking a trip to Japan. The two fell in love and her mother had decided to stay in Japan to her with her father. After some time, the two married, though it was quite faster than usual. Then they had Remi.

Remi was born as the only child to a young couple. Because of this they spent all their attention on her and gave her everything she wanted as a child. The love she felt from her parents made her a very outgoing child. Since she also got what she wanted she watched a lot of TV where she saw many magical girl anime and anything else she wanted. She already had a strong imagination but the girl decided to stay to copy what she saw and cosplay as the characters.

Her parents supported her fantasies that she made up as a kid, thinking that she would grow out of it and they didn't want to hurt her feelings. Though, it only made Remi worse and she began to believe her fantasy was part of reality. They took her to the doctor and they were told that she had eighth-grade syndrome. Although they were told to get help, they didn't and let Remi continue with her delusions.

In the end this might have been a bad idea since she is already 16 and still seems to act differently compared to most people. Her parents still let her do what she wants because they are too nice to do anything about it. Eventually, Remi joined a gang. Her strange antics made people not really fond of her and she couldn't make very many friends. It was this that caused Natsume Tanaka, the leader of the Strays, to welcome her into their gang. She accepted because it fit with her delusions. Her parents believe that her gang membership is only fake even though it is quite real. She grew to love the gang and feels like there's nothing that can replace it.

She apparently knows a lot of people in order to get all the things she can get whenever asked by a gang member, whether it's weaponry or something simple like common items. She has meant these people through all of her strange antics and adventures she takes. She sometimes switches what she believes she is, sometimes believing she is some sort of super villain, hero or a magical girl even though most of the time a person with her syndrome would have one identity.
Personality/Daily Life: Remi is a little strange and hard to explain in words. First of all she is very upbeat and outgoing. She never seems to be really upset or depressed about something even if things don't go her way. She has a little bit of madness to her, though an upbeat, playful madness most of the time. She likes to be flashy which she thinks is cool, so she exaggerates what she does. She's very playful and optimistic, though may be a bit of a Chuunibyou.

Most people tend to get annoyed with her antics and she easily gets hurt by a lot of the things she does. She fond of grand entrances which cause injury to her most of the time, but she is still pretty good at them. For instance, if she uses the stairs as a grand entrance she'll using end up rolling down the stairs, ground and then hitting the wall or landing face first into the ground. However, she never seems to get any serious injuries and somehow bounces back easily from all these mishaps; most of the time she doesn't really get any serious injuries from them anyway. She can be too over-the-top and she doesn't understand the difference between reality and fantasy.

Fashion Style:
A plain white shirt black pants with suspenders to keep them up when moving a lot. He tends to forgo fancy clothes or gear due to lack of funds, or rather the absence of them. Most of the things he wears are secondhand or fished out of a garbage can. More often than not he'll wear a tie to attempt to seem fancy. His shoes are scuffed and beaten down, but still fairly usable despite their wear and tear. He also wear fingerless gloves to to protect his hands a little more than leaving them bare. He's mentioned quite a few times that he wants a shoulder pistol holder to look cooler. That won't happen unless someone at the precinct throws one away, however.

Health condition:
Fairly good despite some slight malnutrition. He tries to keep up on his training and eat whenever able. While he's not altogether the healthiest due to his poverty diet, he's still easily able to beat up untrained or lower level fighters without much trouble.

Displays numerous symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder. Most notably his reckless behavior and often times extreme reactions to abandonment or perceived anger from his friends. A long scar on his stomach, a scar above his eye. The scar on his stomach was from a knife fight he hadn't been prepared for. The scar above his eye is from a rock a kid threw at him when he tried to go home to the orphanage.

Additional Comments on Appearance:
Saying that he always looks like he's been scuffed up a little is an understatement. Yuji always looks like he's ready for a fight and that he's been running around fighting others. He seems to always shift in place, like he's going to flee at a moment's notice.

Combat abilities:

For a street kid, you'd expect a more wild and loose style from how he fights. While this is partially true, he fights using Kempo, and is fairly good at it. Not many people can actually sneak up on him or manage to get a critical blow in before he strikes back. He mostly goes on the offensive, preferring to deal out the damage before someone hurts him severely. Sometimes he has a hard time stopping when he thinks that the person he's fighting could really hurt him in the future or present, leading him down a much darker path than he'd prefer.

He also has a proficiency in using guns, knowing how to handle most small handguns without hurting himself. Accuracy is something he's still working on, however. Knives are also used, but he prefers hand to hand or gunplay over knives.

"I... shouldn't go on. Who would want a kid called Feral every time he turns around? I'm unwanted everywhere."

In the middle of the night a woman, covered up and her face hidden clutched a small child to her chest. She looked at the child in her arms for a moment, her face contorted in repugnance, and put it on the step. She never looked back even once.

Yuji was ditched when he was little more than a month old on the doorstep of a run down orphanage in the worst part of Kizugawa Ward. He never was an outspoken child, often letting others bully him into submission and lacked friends. He tended to be left alone by adults, because they simply regarded him as pitiful or simply didn't notice his presence.

He would have wasted his whole life there, until a man came in when he was five years old.

It was an immediate connection between the two, and Yuji was adopted by the stranger. For years the two worked together in the dojo, and Yuji stopped letting people walk all over him and started to gain more of a presence. He often went out to fight to see how he could hone his skills and his father never seemed to dissuade the boy from doing so. Yuji often revealed a large temper when teased and had to be pulled off of a much larger kid one day after the kid had made fun of Yuji's height. For eight years, things were perfect. Yuji was at his happiest.

The man was middle class, so they ate well but not to excess. The dojo pulled in enough people that Yuji could talk to on a regular basis. He started to connect and go to school and earn good grades. He was on track to graduating early due to the online classes he'd been taking and the in-class time that he'd had. Things had been going well.

Then, tragedy came and stuck it's ugly hand back into Yuji's life.

Cancer, late stage and malignant to his father's brain. His father slipped away and Yuji was sent back to the orphanage. He was teased again and retreated into his shell of a former self. That didn't quite work like before, and eventually just went back to fight anyone and everyone who looked sideways at him. He earned his nickname Feral then, due to his lack of logic and love of fighting. He just kept throwing himself into fights, hoping that maybe something would change.

Maybe he'd die and then no one would miss him.

He stayed quiet at the orphanage, leaving them unaware of his extra curriculum activities, and they didn't care enough to ask about the cuts and bruises. One night when he returned, he was ambushed by his bullies and they threw a rock at him and while he was unconcious, cut his hair. They laughed at the chance to one up this 'Feral' that they'd heard about. When Yuji awoke an hour later, he decided to grab his meager belongings and leave the orphanage for good when he turned seventeen. He struck out on his own, deciding to just scrape by in whatever means he could get or die trying.

After a few months on the street, he was stabbed in the stomach by a gang member who had decided to suddenly change the rules and ambush 'Feral' instead. Alone and bleeding out on garbage in an alleyway, Yuji tried to crawl to safety and was saved by one of The Stray's members and brought to a hospital. Since then, Yuji stuck by the gang and has remained by their side to help the only way he knows how. By fighting. Additionally, he's only recently moved in with the other members, too proud to admit he's homeless to the leaders of the gang.

Positives:
When around people he likes he's warm, welcoming and a huge sweetheart. He's extremely loyal and sweet as well. He loves cats and can often be found with the street cats, feeding or taking care of them. Because of this, he sometimes walks down streets and cats follow him. He can be picky about who he hangs around with, and when not particularly angry with anyone he is usually quiet and reserved. He can even come across as a cold-hearted killer. Most people think him soft spoken and somewhat frigid, but his friends know better.

He's loud and boisterous when around people he likes and trusts. He has a variety of interests and tries his best to be loyal to what others want from him. He's incredibly reliant on people he likes for their approval and opinions about him. When he makes friends he tends to keep them for a long time.

Negatives:
While he's warm towards friends, he's cold and downright mean towards strangers. He'll fight or get angry at the drop of a hat, ready to spring into action. Combat abilities (if any): Takashi is in most senses of the word a truck. While quick when it comes to full on sprinting or dashing, he isn't as much an agile fighter so much as more of acting as a brick wall that can take a hit and send one out before they've realized just how badly they fucked up. In terms of professional fighting, Takashi is not familiar with any kind and enters combat with a purely street style way of fighting.
History/Background: "Huh? Why do you want to know? ...Fine, here goes..."

Takashi was born to an already disheveled and faltering family dynamic. With his father, Kenzo, a construction worker and slight alcoholic, splitting from the family and disappearing, it fell upon his mother, Kaede, to take care of not only him but but his elder brother as well. Unfortunately, while he received the necessary care during his earlier years, it wasn't long before their mother was forced to trade time at home for time to work in order to support the family, and with the two brothers' relationship, or lackthereof, and the boy's ignorance to the situation, Takashi quickly occupied himself in his school, social life and screwing around.

Unfortunately, this lax period of fun activities didn't last for long. Soon enough, Kaede fell into the statistic of people in Japan that work themselves to deprivation. Still young at the time, Takashi could not yet understand the full gravity of the current events. He didn't know why his mother was transported to the hospital. He didn't even comprehend a quarter of what the doctors said was wrong with her, though he could tell all of it was bad. He couldn't understand why she wasn't coming back with them, nor why his elder brother now assumed the role of their mother, constantly out and about and returning with beatings, bruises and fatigued. No matter his questions, he was never answered.

As time went on, Satoru began returning more exhausted than beaten, though their relationship never really improved. Though there were some moments in which the two would sit down and have dinner together, albeit they only shared the meal physically; it remained devoid of any verbal interaction between the two, further building the gap between the two.
After that, Takashi's brother left, off doing who knows what. Apparently he had somehow gotten a scholarship to Kyoto University, though there was no way he acquired it going off his grades. Still, the younger sibling never pushed much; it wasn't as if he'd get anything more from the eldest anyway. Regardless, Takashi knew he was still kicking out there wherever he was as he'd receive some money for living expenses every so often.

While Takashi never really liked his brother, as he grew older he acquired a respect and gratitude for Satoru; providing the means for which two young boys could live off of was no meager task. As such, the younger of the two was determined not to waste his his aniki's expenses acting as some common delinquent. He would often go visit their mother, work some odd jobs when he could and, while the boy would often engage in physical confrontations, more often than not it would be coming to the defense of someone disadvantaged. He as well at the very least keeps his grades up and tries to negotiate. He simply, like his brother, believes that some people require logic physically beaten into them.

Takashi eventually entered the gang by beating the Hunter to his duties, ergo he ended up clobbering some school gang boss the Strays' co-founder had his eye on. Apparently his strength was noted, and more importantly, how he used it non-abusively, and was approached on the matter of checking the gang out. While initially refusing the prospect of joining a gang, it was brought to his attention that it was unlike what he envisioned and agreed to investigate it a bit. As time went on, Takashi found himself hanging around the tight-knit group as much as his childhood friend, Kanna, and while he would during his early days hanging with the group retort and correct comments making him out to be apart of the gang, eventually he just stopped bothering and accepted being a gangbanger of a not-so-gang-like gang.
Personality/Daily Life: "Don't tell anyone about the butler thing... I don't need anyone I know coming around and heckling me at work... Cheeky bastards probably would..."

Positives: Takashi is a genuinely decent person that will often lend a hand if asked or even if he simply sees that someone may need it. Often looking out for the well-being of others more so than himself, he partly feels guilty for not having been able to do more to help his family's situation. While scary-looking initially and quick to use violence, he surprisingly isn't that grudge-bearing and at least tries to understand those around him rather than dismiss the happenings or situations of others, which is likely why he still at least respects his elder sibling rather than hold complete aversion towards him. He tends to be the "mature one" of those he hangs around with, doing his best to keep his friends out of too much trouble or from doing something that they will come to regret later on in life. Still, he remains steadfast and strong-willed in what he believes and when it comes to the safety of his allies, and as well the absolute last person to drop to a knee.

Negatives: A poor trait he shares with his elder brother is his swiftness when it comes to overcoming an issue with violence. Needless to say, while he doesn't go mugging teachers in order to pass a test, he will typically warn a bully, gangster or other neerdowell to halt their poor choice in activities before countering their questionings and threatening behavior with an unbudging fist to their jaw.

As well akin to his brother is his lack of emotional evidence, albeit not to the same extent. Most of the time Takashi will carry a bored expression or a scowl which, placed on an orange-haired freak of height built to take a few hits, is rather scary. This is a big issue of how the many rumors of his "atrocities" and "cruelties" came to be; misunderstandings due to his intimidating demeanor and seemingly uncaring attitude.

As well a quirk given by part of his role in the gang, Takashi is dubbed as the gang "mom" due to the fact of him being a worry-wort and nag when it comes to the others. More often than not will he be one to lecture the others or give reason for why they should not do something rather than think up some hair-brained scheme to pull off.

Hobbies: Takashi has worked a few odd jobs around here and there. Currently, he ironically works at a butler cafe part-time. Apparently, while scary under normal circumstances, his scowl and less than common hair acquires a certain charm when he's snagged into a suit.

HISTORY/BACKGROUND: Charlotte is the illegitimate daughter of a successful businessman who owns a multi-million conglomerate. She was conceived while her father was on a business trip in France. It was a typical one night stand story: her father met her mother in a bar, got drunk then poof! Charlotte was made. Her father immediately left after he learned her mother was pregnant and promised that he'll support them financially as long as they don't bother her. Her father stayed true to his word. He did sent money to help them financially.

At such a young age, Charlotte quickly understood her father and mother's relationship. She was fine and happy living in France with her mother and thought that she didn't need her father in her life. But as time goes on, her mother's health takes a turn to worse, causing for her mother to be bedridden for days at a time. Her mother soon died and Charlotte was forced to move out of France and move in Japan.

As soon as she stepped foot on her father's house, she already saw resentment and disgust in his eyes. Charlotte was a lady: polite and well.. acts like a girl. She knew that her father wouldn't like her because he always wanted a son. To make up for it, Charlotte decided to change herself so her father would love her. She started studying taekwondo and judo, along with archery, shooting and fencing. She also studied hard to be on top of her class, ignoring the constant bullying from her classmates. She easily became a target of bullying because of her blonde hair.

Charlotte went to high school with honors but as she grew up, she noticed that her father doesn't recognize her efforts and doesn't even spare a glance at her. She understands that he's busy with work but this only made her crave more for his attention. Deciding to change tactics, she started to become rebellious and wild, just so her father will notice her. She started wearing skimpy clothes and started spending too much money gambling and shopping. She also went out to clubs just to get drunk. She got into fights, became flirtatious and used her charms to get what she wants and became someone who's the complete opposite of her normal self. In short, her life became a mess and she became a waste of life.

But that all completely changed when she was put to jail. It was a typical Friday night and she was in the club drunk as usual when one of her father's business partners (someone who she flirts with and uses to get whatever she wants) decided to take advantage of her. The man forcefully dragged her inside of his car and tried to rape her. Charlotte fought back of course and beat the shit out of him before escaping. The next day she went home, she saw her father in the living room with the police. She was forcefully dragged by the police out of the house and sent to jail to be locked up. The man from yesterday pressed charges against her and told the police that he was assaulted. Her father didn't defend her and just let the police lock her up. Her father strongly believed that Charlotte was at fault and since then, she just snapped.

As soon as she got out of the prison (thanks to the police recruiting her) she moved out of her father's house with her own money and lived a normal life. Of course she was trained to be a chameleon since she's working undercover but she's happy nonetheless. She's determined to bury everything in the past, to forget about her father and just start her own life.

Hardworking
When it comes to work, Candy doesn't shy away from it. In fact, she believes that work gives her purpose and a perfect distraction for her to forget about her past. Besides, just because she's used to having things easily doesn't mean she didn't work hard for it. She works even harder to get the things that she wants without the help of her father (who still supports her financially and secretly even though she didn't want to). She resents lazy and privileged people or generally anyone who ever had things come easy to them but she doesn't show it. Heck, she's one of those privileged people and that only pushes her work harder.

Affectionate
Just like any human being, Candy acts cold towards people she doesn't know well but not to the point of rudeness. She'll respond to questions, pipes comments every now and then but that's just it. of course when she needed to be affectionate due to her work, then she's willing to do it. All in all, Candy acts civil towards people she barely knows. As for her friends, she can be very affectionate and generous. She'll lend them money, buy them the things they needed, hug them, hold their hands and if she's feeling extremely affectionate, kiss them. History/Background: Some say, that you don't understand the true importance of something before it's gone. Renzo is one of those people. Why do you ask? Just wait until i get there!

Renzo was born to high-class of Kizugawa ward, Kyoto prefecture. Renzo also had a twin brother, Eiji. Since birth Renzo and Eiji were inseparable. No matter where Eiji went, his little brother was always with him. The life was going on well until that day came.

It was a summer, Renzo and Eiji were having a summer break as well as their parents were. As they were hanging around at home, they began to hear some strange sounds from downstairs.. screaming? Then the fire alarm went off. Renzo, Eiji and their parents tried to escape from the house but upon opening their apartment door they were greeted with harsh reality. The fire had engulfed downstairs and was quickly climbing up the building. The fire hit Renzo's apartment and devoured everything it could along with his family. That fire was named Great Kizu Fire, it engulfed four apartment buildings and killed almost everyone living there. Total body count of the disaster was about 300, the amount of survivors was about 20 and Renzo was one of them. During that day, Renzo lost everything he had, his home, family and especially his brother. This happened to Renzo at the age of 16.

Since that day, Renzo lived on the streets as a lone wolf. He didn't trust anyone and pretty much avoided people as much as possible to keep himself safe. Getting food was tough but he managed to get along by making right choices, thinking wisely and not taking too big risks. What comes to school, well Renzo dropped out after recovering from the incident.
Personality/Daily Life: "There are many kinds of people, but how i would describe myself is that i have the mind of a hero. Let me ask you a question, if a friend you were eating with in the restaurant, suddenly began choking to a piece of bread, would you keep on eating your salad? Me neither. It doesn't matter what the situation is, you have to make sacrifices to save someone else. I might not be good at fighting, but nothing blocks me from trying if it would possibly save someone else. I think that is the way that i could describe myself.

But how would my friends describe me if i had any? I believe they would describe me in a same way. But coin has two sides, and the same goes with me, because so far i've only told you about my good sides, now the bad sides.. I'm pretty sure you don't believe me when i tell you that i am selfish... to an extent. I have a tendency to not share anything i own, Eiji was the only person i shared with, and that's how it will always be. Everything has a price, so does my stuff.. well i think if you got close to me enough, i could possibly share with you as well... i don't know, know one has ever gotten that close. I also am stubborn, if you didn't already figure that out. And last but not least, i do have trust issues... which remind me of... why am i telling all of this to you? I'm not supposed to open up like this to strangers, now get away from me, you know too much already!"

Combat Abilities:

Nagisa has been practicing Pencak Silat when she was just a child from one of those rundown shoplots in Kizugawa. However, she occasionally skipped the classes in favor of focusing on her studies, and eventually quit when she decided to pursue for her idol career in Tokyo. Even so, Nagisa still practices Pencak Silat on her own, as a form of exercise. She never hurt anyone with her knowledge in martial arts, in exception of events that requires her to defend others or herself, such as the stabbing incident.

After she recuperated from the stabbing incident and returned to Kizugawa, Nagisa once again returned to her mentor and began honing on her proficiency in martial arts. After all, Kizugawa is no longer safe as before she went to Tokyo.

Despite she has nearly zero experience when it comes to actual fighting, Nagisa probably able to hold herself with a couple of mooks.
History/Background: Born in a normal, middle-income Japanese family, Nagisa had a good childhood and upbringing, thanks to her being more academic-proficient compared to her older brother Hirosaki. As such, her parents began to pour more and more attention on her, neglecting Hirosaki in the process. However, she was not oblivious to the issue, and began to get close to Hirosaki despite their straining sibling relationship.

Even so, it was not enough, and Hirosaki becomes a delinquent. As for Nagisa, she becomes one of the few top scorers in the high school that both of them were enrolled in. In fact, she had a newfound interest on singing and dancing. Nagisa then performed in a couple of her high school's cultural festivals, before getting a news on an idol group seeking for new members online. Encouraged by her family members and friends, Nagisa seized the chance and attended the audition. By the time Hirosaki joined the Strays, the audition was successful, and Nagisa was accepted into the small-time idol group Heartily Clovers.

In order to pursue her idol career, Nagisa moved to Tokyo with her parents tagging along, as they are distrustful how the idol managers treat them. However, to Nagisa's dismay, Hirosaki did not follow them. She was even more saddened that her parents actually neglected him and simply moved to Tokyo with her, leaving their old house being taken care of by her uncle. The revelation left the aspiring idol shaken for a while before she was drowned with busy schedules and training.

Since then, both of the siblings rarely contacted each other, as both of them are busy with their own issues. Nagisa's idol career went pretty well and establishing herself in the industry, but things took for a dramatic change later on. During a cheerful idol handshake event in Tokyo last year, a fan in his 20s approached the event and brandished a knife, attempting to attack the 4 member idols. The male fan seemed to be shouting about the idols rejected his gift, and headed straight to the leader of the Heartily Clovers. Nagisa defended her idol leader, before being stabbed four times in the abdomen. Despite her severe injuries, adrenaline took over her body and Nagisa knocked out the crazed fan by giving a knee strike to his face. The bloodsoaked idol was soon went unconscious and was rushed to the nearest hospital.

The news spread like wildfire, especially on the Internet. Nagisa was in critical condition, as the stab wounds struck a major artery and organs causing severe blood loss. As a result, she was hospitalized for weeks, with her parents taking care of her. Days after regaining her consciousness, numerous nicknames for the dark purple colored idol began to surface, especially the "Idol of the Dead" as a rumor allegedly claimed that Nagisa was dead for 60 seconds before the doctors managed to resuscitate her. The stabbing event was no doubt left a deep mark for the young idol, but it does little to dampen her cheerfulness as a member of the Heartily Clovers.

Six months after recuperating from her wounds, Nagisa hired a private investigator to run on her assailant's background, who is now currently serving a heavy sentence of 10 years in jail. The private investigator's findings surprised her, citing that the crazed fan was from a gang in Kizugawa Ward, her hometown. He also tipped that her brother Hirosaki has joined into a gang known as the Strays, a fact that Nagisa has long denied and regarded as her brother vying for popularity and attention, or even a bad rumor that his enemies has been spreading for some time.

After some cold hard facts and analysis, Nagisa has decided to take a so-called long vacation, and return to Kizugawa Ward to find her estranged brother, as well as finding the truth of the attack on the Heartily Clovers...
Personality/Daily Life: Positive:

Nagisa is your average cheerful girl next door, caring for her family members and friends regardless of their current situations. Despite the stabbing incident in Tokyo has left her a traumatic experience, Nagisa's outlook about life remains optimistic. She regards tragic events as whetstones to sharpen her willpower and to live her life to the fullest rather than throwing it away. Nagisa also displays a good amount of determination and patience, as she trained hard to be an idol, however how small her group is. In fights, Nagisa promised to herself that unless under extreme circumstances, she will not bring herself to kill someone.

Negative:

Nagisa can be stubborn and oblivious to actual real life facts, as she refused to believe that Hirosaki is in a gang in Kizugawa. As such, she likes to fool around and downplay serious situations except stuffs that is related to her family and friends. However, there are times where Nagisa is willing to wear a mask of deception and utilize her idol charm to manipulate someone and do her bidding. But that just probably applicable to those small time mooks in Kizugawa, heh.

Ever since Sango's been a baby she's had magenta eyes. She hasn't been on stable ground with her family either,
being 'unique' was considered terrible, so her family decided she'd be home-schooled then nobody would see the 'disgrace'.
Her parents were more lenient towards her but decided that they couldn't risk another 'mistake'. Her parents attitude was more pity than love. What made it worse was that her aunts had told her cousins not to talk with the 'black sheep' of the family in fears that they would be cursed with bad luck. Her family consisted of doctors so their reputation meant more to them than anything, even if that meant keeping a child away from the light. Sango had no idea why anyone wouldn't play with her, she'd run up to one of her cousins in the backyard during a meeting, they'd push her down and yell at her just because she asked.

Her family was also extremely traditional, but soon her parents got in a plane crash incident. Sango stayed behind but of course everyone pointed fingers at the eight year old child, the unique curse who nobody wanted or cared for. They whispered behind her back during the funeral, nobody wanted to take her. They wanted to send her to boarding school but that wasn't their ways. She was trapped. She didn't have an allowance, she was a child, and she had the 'cursed' eyes.
They had decided that she'd go to public school instead, being some hours away, it'd be great. She wasn't worth the private school all her fellow cousins went to, so she was sent to the closest public school. Even there, nobody liked her.

Everyone treated her like she was some kind of disease and pretended she didn't exist. When she became noticed,
it wasn't positive. The delinquents realized that since Sango came from a family of doctors she specialized in science and other 'doctor related' subjects as they said behind her back. They forced her to do work that they weren't willing to do and beat her in places that were concealed from her clothing when they were bored. What was worse was that the teachers diverted their eyes and whispered behind her back, poor child, she's such a disgrace. This was happening to her from the age of her birth, to now, a 16 year old girl.

The most happiest moment of her life was when she discovered a lone kitten, white as newly fallen snow, but it had a chocolate spot on it's paw. The only 'flaw'. It was near the train station and she visited it everyday, that was until the delinquents realized that she was getting chipper and chipper every morning. One day they followed her and found out what made her happy, they stole the kitten and laughed about it and how it was similar to her, weak, strange, and 'ugly'. They held her down and threw the kitten as it yeowled and yeowled. She hadn't wanted any of this. Everyday she tried to be normal. Everyday she tried to show that she wasn't useless, but no one cared. No one heard her sniffles, no one saw the bruises she hid.

She had to be strong, for both the kitten and her, she let out all of her energy and struggled and leaped for the kitten,
but another two held her down and kicked her and threw the kitten to her.

"I got the best idea! Why don't we throw em' both into the train!? It's coming soon!"

Sango couldn't believe it, these people were monsters. They had such mischievous grins on their faces,
She knew they were serious,
"N-N-"
"What are you guys up to so close to the train?"

"I uh. Was just..."
The teen took one look at his hair and ran, everyone else dropped Sango and dashed away.
"Stand up."
Sango got up and looked at him with a bit of fear in her eyes,
"I've heard of ya."

Takashi had recruited Sango from that moment on, the cat follows her mostly all the time, when it's not it's probably following Takashi.
Personality/Daily Life: Postives:
She's mildly optimistic and always tries to keep a smile on her face,
she's easily amused and Sango thinks of all the possibilities,
she's kind and shows a lot of empathy. She's compassionate
and willing to get hurt for someone she cares for.
With those she cares for she's energetic and sort of clingy.
Sango attempts at facing her fears in exchange for the smiles of her 'family'.

Negatives:
Sango's a bit awkward. Also she's open as a book. She can't really say no and
she sometimes says random things because she can't take the silence.
She has a habit of putting herself down and is very stubborn when it comes to
the decisions of the strays. She's mostly quiet and is sort of meekly. She has
a habit of clamming up when the topic is something she's not comfortable with.

Mental Problems:
- Her depression has lessened since she has been with her
'family' but her blood family hasn't made it any easier.
