It was a hard fall. He didn't think it would hurt as much as it did but the added weight of the child securely wrapped in both of his front paws added extra momentum. Inhaling through his nose, he bit down on his tongue to stop himself from crying out in agony. Rolling over onto his side, he carefully placed the child onto the ground before staggering to his paws. Wincing as he rolled his shoulders, he tilted his neck and an audible crack of his bones dispersed the aching tension in his shoulders.


. concept of Shepherds? Shepherds are chosen by the Prophet with the guidance of the Doctor, who have the strongest connections with the deities. the Shepherds are an elite group of individuals that serve as the Prophet's personal guard as well as their advisors.
. the Prophet (leader) is the only character that if ability(s) are/is used, they are fatigued quicker than the normal user and must call upon the deities for permission to use. the deities believe that a leader shouldn't rely on their powers to get them through problems. the Prophet is also the only character that receives their abilities directly from the deities without a limit, making them the most powerful.
. the ranks, from most powerful statuses goes Prophet, Shepherds, Doctor, Watchers, Pathfinders (apprentices), Lady/Lords (tends to children), Child(ren) and Elders
