Avery sighed; she knew she was going to do that, she even told that upfront to her yesterday. What if she injured herself further? There would be no way that she could her then but then again, she wouldn't have much help to offer. "Are you sure? I can come with you." She leaned against the faded walls, her legs crossed, as began another short thought. "I could probably be of some use anyways."

The city was cruel, Joanna probably knew that as well as Avery did, yet there were ways to stray from it's harsh touch. She knew the lurking thieves, the drifters who are forever lost, the families tearing apart day by day, and of course, those who lost everything. She knew that going out alone could cost someone their lives. The least she could do was to offer the injured woman help. "It's also better than staying here with nothing to do."
