Sounds like this could be interesting. I've always especially enjoyed the anthropomorphic objects and living boardgames. I always loved this one episode of Rupert always seemed Wonderland-esque, although there were a few of them. Utilizing any of the surreal/interesting bits would be interesting. I don't care how far from the inspired material it deviates.
