Bediviere smiled at the group as they each offered up their swords, or whatever else weapon, or just plain agreed to come along anyway. She took in each person and thought for a moment.

"I don't wish to prevent anyone from saying goodbyes to those in town, should you wish you, but I would like to get going as soon as possible. I'm sure some of you will also want to gather supplies as well. This isn't going to be a short journey, not even to get to the next town. We will probably have to camp at least two nights."

She reached into her belt pouch and pulled out a small bag before setting it on the table and opening it, removing one platinum coin to hand to the barmaid as the girl served Ekram and laid out new drinks, and then she passed out five more to each person at the table.

"I do not have much, I'm afraid, but these should at least help with your preparations if you need it. I will meet you all at the main gate at midday."

The sun rose slowly and as it reached it's zenith, Bediviere and Zazu walked towards the main gate to wait for the others. She did stop for extra rations and a few healing components along the way, and then talked with the guard at the main gate for a while.

As the group gathered, she looked them over and smiled. "Well. This will be a rather long journey. Are all of you ready?"

[fieldbox= Orina, green]
When the other elf handed out coins, Orina was half of mind to return them to her. Orina knew she had plenty, perhaps more than plenty, of money saved up. But after a few moments of quick thought, the brunette simply tucked them into a small pouch at her waist with a quiet thanks directed at the blonde. Green eyes swept over those gathered a the table. She wondered how many of them would actually be going on this trip of theirs.

Orina filed out of the inn at the same time everyone else did. Gethin following behind her quietly, almost visibly relaxing after the duo was back out in the street. The dark wolf tried, but he was still a wolf, not a dog. He'd never be much for being cramped into a two-legger infested dwelling. After exiting, Orina paused before she began to lead the way towards the markets. She doubted she could carry much more, but she'd take a quick look around, just to be sure. She didn't have any meat specifically for Gethin, but she figured between the rations she did have and what was gathered along the way, he should be fine. Orina made a quick pass through the different shops, spotting a few familiar faces, before heading back to her family home. Just as she thought, either she didn't need it or she couldn't carry it. For a moment she had considered purchasing a donkey but decided against it ultimately. A pack animal would require its own food and that looked heavy as it was. So the elf returned home empty handed.

After getting back to the house, Orina made a beeline for her room where she had packed her things prior to the meeting. Gethin, however, wandered out to the hidden hole in the wall. Orina was unsure why, she didn't ask. She knew he'd be back before long. The lone wolf made his way through the underbrush, as if committing the area to memory. The dark wolf wound his way until he was welcomed by a happy yip. A couple of his siblings raced up and around him, snuffling at his fur and wagging their tails. Gethin had said his goodbyes the night prior, but he had come to say one last farewell before he followed his elf away. Back at the house, orina was donning her armor...what better way to carry it really? It wasn't like she wore plate mail anyways, it'd be far to heavy and cumbersome for her, no she wore leather. Her quiver and pack went to her back and the sword her grandfather had given her landed at her hip. Other items were stored in one way or another on her person. After she was done, she took one last lingering look around the room. Somewhere in the back of her mind she wondered if she'd ever see it again....But the elf was quick to shake such dark thoughts away.

Out in front of the house half an hour or so later, wolf met elf and the duo made their way to the front gates to meet with the rest of the party. The brunette elf came to stand nearish the blonde one before casually leaning against the gate to wait quietly for whomever else would appear. Her bow was held in her hand, far quicker to draw it if it was already at hand. however, one of the fingers of he free hand lifted to trace at the silver leaf brooch holding her cloak together. It was one last gift from her family, a going away present. That was how she passed the time waiting, finger tracing a brooch with a wolf laying near her feet, as if he knew there would be a long walk ahead and was resting in preparation.

[fieldbox= Asha, gold]
Asha, although she'd be loathe to admit it, was glad of the extra five coins. The kitsune in hiding wasn't exactly the most well off financially. The petite figure tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as she listened to the blonde elf speak. As she did, her eyes drifted around the group. She knew some of them wouldn't come, call it intuition. Her foot began to bounce beneath the table before the group was dismissed. As they all made their way outside of the inn, Asha headed towards her own small home. She'd save the money for now, maybe she'd be able to purchase something to her liking in the future with it. Right now, she would make do...she always did one way or another.

At her small home, she gathered the majority of her belongings, she didn't have much from staying on the road, before she went to tell her landlady that she'd be leaving the village for awhile. The kitune told the woman that she could go ahead and lease the small house out. Asha had half of a mind not to return. The kitsune was used to wandering, enjoyed it even. The gold-eyed beauty had began to grow restless in the small town, an adventure was just what she needed to spice things up.

When Asha arrived at the gate, she came to with a slight skip to her step and a chipper melody being hummed under her breath. She gave a sunny smile towards the two elves before she plopped her pack down on the ground and knealt to dig into it, making sure one last time that she had everything she wanted. She, like the brunette elf, had donned her own armor, which wasn't more than a tunic of leather plates. She'd tied a golden sash over it at the waist and had a knot and bow holding it in place from behind. Tucked into her sash was a kunai, the only weapon the kitsune owned and like her armor, something from her home region of the world.

As she waited for anyone else to show up, the kitsune took out a smaller gold colored ribbon and went through the process of putting her hair up into a bun. She suspected the sun would make things warm before long. Asha was almost positive the Sylvirleaf girl would regret putting her cloak on.

[fieldbox="Shiragiku, pink, solid"]The white haired tiefling wandered curiously through the foreign town. Shiragiku sifted her pack and spear as she strolled along with her eidolon Kazuo. She was in search of a friend that she once met that had invited Shiragiku to journey with her. Her friend was a kind trickster named Asha. She had met her in Shiraguki's home town some number of years back. Shiragiku traveled to many strange places following leads about Asha's whereabouts. She explored the towns with a crude drawing of what she had remembered Asha had looked like. As she strolled about the town with Kazuo in town, she heard that a girl resembling her friend was meeting with a group of travelers were gathered near a gate on the outskirts of town. She roamed for a bit, clueless of where the gate. Shiragiku was suddenly sidetracked by the sight of a delicious bread stand and decided to browse its wears. As she drooled over the bread she had just acquired her eidolon spotted something. Quickly Kazuo pointed to the gate they had been looking for. There underneath the arch of the gate stood a group of travelers and onlookers, but what had caught his attention was the girl with a wolf sitting at her feet. Shiragiku then noticed the girl that had so closely resembled Asha. She stuffed the bread in her bag and grabbed up Kazuo's hand as she rushed towards the gate. "Asha-san, I found you," Shiragiku squealed as she jumped onto the unsuspecting girl, "I'm ready to join you on your journey." Excitedly she jumped up and down as she could not contain her excitement. [/fieldbox]

Aldran wasn't sure what he should do, but he knew he couldn't just let that old woman go off and try to rescue her friend without his help. Granted, he didn't join them at the table and he really shouldn't have eavesdropped. But after he watched a few of those who had been seated there around town looking very comfortable with staying another day or two, he couldn't just let it be. They would probably find his sword useful, so he gathered his things and told his mother about his decision.

"Are you sure you must, Aldran?" was her only attempt and holding him home, because as soon as he nodded she just smiled and went to get out a backpack with several different things inside of it. "I had prepared this for you, in case you decided this town wasn't big enough for you anymore. I hadn't thought I would need it, given the recent dangers, but... Well, it seems you are meant to go."

"I'll come home someday, Mother," he promised as he took the bag. He hesitated only a moment before he kissed her cheek and rushed out the door towards the gate that the group was to meet at.

Bediviere smiled as a few of the companions arrived, though it faltered briefly as she blinked at the young girl who jumped onto Asha. After a second, though, she let it slide and continued smiling again. A young boy she remembered seeing but had not seen at their table that morning joined shortly after, also surprising her briefly before she merely offered up a prayer in gratitude that they would not number too few, and then moved on.

"I hope you are all done with your preparations. It seems we have lost a few to the town, but that is all right. I can use any help I can to save my friend, and hopefully fix things." She reached up to put a hand on Zazu before turned and talking to one of the guards that was stationed there. He nodded and smiled before waving her through, and she motioned for the small group to follow. "Unfortunately, we will have to camp at least twice along the trail before we reach the next town, and even then it will be close to evening before we arrive there as well."

~~

It was nearly dark out when Bediviere stopped the group, just outside a thick grove of trees with a slender path going in before them. She looked over the area before she turned and told them this would be where they would camp.

"The woods might be a little too cramped to make a successful safe camp for our group, even as small as it is. And making a fire in there would be rather dangerous as well. It would be wiser to camp here so we can have a small fire to keep at least the more common wild animals at bay during the night," she suggested.

[fieldbox= Orina, green]
Orina blinked in surprise and Gethin gave a small growl at the sudden commotion. The elf put a hand on the wolfs head and made a low hum in the back of her throat. The brunette elf looked the new girl over. There was so much pink, and the younger girl didn't look like she'd be much of a threat. But she had to be carrying a spear around for more than just a bluff, right? The elf stroked the wolf behind the ears as she studied the newcomer. However, as Asha looked over, Orina looked away. She didn't want to get caught staring. The fellow following the girl around looked pretty capable though. The green eyed female was disappointed at the lack of people though. They'd started out with a larger group, but it would seem that they were all too busy to be bothered with this quest.

Soon, the elf's judgement was cut short as they began their walk for the day. Excitement tightened at her gut. This would be the first time she'd ever ventured so far from the village. The wolf at her side, however, was less than enthused. He'd much more prefer to stay in his own territory. The wolf made a grumbling snort but followed after his elf dutifully. As they walked, the elf realized that their party was now female dominant. A small smirk crossed over her face briefly. After a few moments, she walked up towards the other elf, almost wanting to start a conversation, but not sure if she should. In the end, she kept quiet for awhile, instead she watched the scenery pass by and lurked in the depths of her own mind.

~~
When they finally came to a halt, Orina was not afraid to admit that she was fairly tired. It was a good day's walk. Looking around at the darkening dusk, the elf realized the wisdom to the other's words. However, where it just her and Gethin, they'd be camping within the shelter of the trees. After a moment, the brunette tossed her bag and cloak down onto the grass before she took up the task of looking for rocks to make a small fire ring in which to light said fire. She wandered away from the group some in her search for stones.

[fieldbox= Asha, gold]
The kitsune wasn't exactly expecting to be pounced on so early during the day, and certainly not be a familiar white haired tiefling. AFter a breif pause as the black haired woman stared at her new attatchment, then smiled a bright happy smile.

"It's been a while," she greeted before she put a mock scowl on her face, "and now you're finally ready? What if I don't want to take you with me? hmmmmmm?" She teased, but looped her arm around the smaller creature and pulled her along with them as they began to walk. She didn't ask the leader of their group, no, with the size of their current party she doubted it would hurt to add two more to their numbers. Besides, she'd keep an eye on the sheltered tiefling and keep her safe. So would her tall dark bodyguard it would seem. The kitsune gave the man a quirked eyebrow before turning back to the tiefling.

"Sooooo, who is Mr. tall, dark and silent?" She asked conversationally, her voice having an undercurrent to it that said she was ready to tease the poor white haired being in a moments notice. The kitsune spent most of the days trip catching up with the younger girl. When they finally came to a stop, she followed Orinas lead and put her things down before turning to Shiragiku.

"Let us go gather some wood for the fire, shall we?" She invited before she turned to began to scavenge along the outer edges of the woods, assuming her long lost friend would tag along.
