Welcome to Addilan, the super capital of the world. This city is where heroes and villains alike come to make a name for themselves, why you ask? Well, it's home to the worlds most known heroes and villains, and newly empowered often seek them out as mentors. Our story starts here, in the bustling metropolis. Of course, you need to know a little about the area. First, know that there's a world class newspaper here, they seem to have reporters around every corner, and always get the stories they seek, if you need information, that's the best place to start. As for major companies, there's a few, the town being filled with cafe's, clubs, and anything you can think of really. On one side of the town, is the ocean, on the towns outskirts, farmlands and just beyond that a forest.
Now for the story. Well, our story is yet to begin, so I'm afraid you must wait for that, for now, let's meet a few of our esteemed heroes, or perhaps some dastardly villains, yes?
(Character sheet's will be left up to you. Things to include are the obvious, name/age/personality/powers/etc)

I know this is super basic and it sucks, promise the IC will be much more in depth, if you have any questions feel free to ask <3

My rules:
I'm pretty lenient, and my rules are simple.
First, no one liners, no quick shots. If you don't know what a 'quick shot' is, it's what I call when two people bounce back and forth in rapid succession, without giving other's a chance to post. This is a group effort, not a 1x1, treat it as such.
Second, treat everyone with respect. Honestly, I can be a bit of a bitch sometimes, and other times I can be too nice. If I step over a line, or maybe you feel I'm not being critical enough of your work, tell me, I won't get mad. I don't like the whole 'GM word is law' thing, so know in advance that I'll treat you all with the same respect you give me, and if you dislike a rule or any such thing, tell me in a civilized manner, we can work it out like adults.
Third, and this is my only exception to the above rule, for this one, my word is law: No gods. What is a god in this scenario exactly? Now, I don't you mean you can't be creative and create a pantheon like hero, I mean your character can't be immortal and unkillable. It ruins the mood for everyone. Powers that fall under this: x-factor healing(think wolverine), immortality, invulnerability, and before it's asked, no making your character invulnerable except to 'random extremely rare' material does not count. If you must go somewhere along this route, then pm me, and perhaps we can work something out.

Name:
Golem

Height: 6'6

Occupation:
Villain

Age:
unknown (three years if you count how long he has been in the city)

Race:
Android

Powers/Skills:
Technopathy- Can control and manipulate technology on a wide scale, this includes computers, power grids, cellular devices, and almost anything connected to the internet.

Engineering- Being an android with a super computer for a brain allows him access to many fields of knowledge most notably robotics, this allows him to improve upon himself and even create lesser androids to help him in his endeavors as well as build weapons into his own body.

Mechanical body- Being a machine gives him many advantages such as strength, speed, durability, and reflexes that surpass a normal human, as well as having many weapons built into himself.

Weaknesses:
Electricity- As a machine he has a weakness to electricity and other similar energy sources that can overload his systems hinder his functions.

Magnetism: Being made of metal he has a weakness to magnetism that can completely immobilize him if strong enough

Water: Because he weighs several tons and is made of heavy metal he cannot operate in water, sure he can walk on the bottom of whatever body of water he's fallen in but cannot swim on the surface like humans can.

Personality:
Cold- Being a machine Golem doesn't feel emotions or empathy, this makes it impossible for him to relate or converse with a human on a sentimental level.

Calculating- Golem is always analyzing his environment and situations, trying to determine the weaknesses of his opponents at every opportunity and running scenarios in his mind to come up with the best possible solution to the situation he's in.

Sadistic- Despite not having the ability to feel like humans do, Golem still shows an uncanny amount of "enjoyment" when hurting individuals, especially heroes.

Bio:
Not much is known about the android known as Golem other then that he arrived in the city a few years ago and that his goal is to wipe out all individuals that possess "Special Powers". His existence was first uncovered when police got a call from a local junk yard owner complaining about strange noises coming from the abandoned warehouse next door.
When police investigated they discovered what they could only describe as a ,"metal skeleton", that was crushing pieces of metal scrap into odd shapes with its hands.
The machine called itself Golem and appeared docile at first. But when police tried to arrest the mysterious being it attacked, killing the officers with a strange gun which shot large nail like munitions that impaled and pinned the officer's bodies to the wall like fly paper.
It fled the scene shortly before backup arrived.

There have been many other sightings of the machine throughout the following months.
Most commonly being seen sneaking into junkyards and jewelry stores for unknown reasons.
Although it has been speculated the machine is using the materials to build something.
Something big...

"Perhaps I will find a lead in this city."

Name:
Mogami Tsukune

Alias:
Poltergeist

Affiliation:
Heroes

Age:
14

Race:
Human

Powers & Abilities:
Mogami Tsukune, the Poltergeist, possesses a very special ability - Tsukumogami manipulation.
According to Japanese folklore, Tsukumogami are inanimate objects that gain speech and sentience after a century of existing.
Now, what if this century of existing was dependent on certain types of spirit energies being accumulated within these objects? That is how Poltergeist's abilities work.
His power allows him to utilise 'Poltergeist Power' as he calls it to grant inanimate objects sentience by concentrating them with it, turning them into Tsukumogami. He can also take 'Poltergeist Power' away from them to return them to normal. Tsukumogami are supernatural beings, and depending on object, may manifest powers.
In other words, his main ability is granting objects sentience.
He can also telepathically connect to various Tsukumogami, allowing him to see what they see, as well as communicate with them.
He has trained himself in martial arts, and is skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

Equipment:
They are more friends than equipment.
The Poltergeist has various Tsukumogami who fight alongside him constantly.
The Menreiki - A hiveminded Tsukumogami made of 60 seperate masks. Under the alias of Poltergeist, Tsukune dons these masks - with a fox mask on his face, and two oni masks on his shoulders - the one on the left with a smile and the one on the right angered. These masks can latch onto people's faces to control them, with only those with great wills being able to break out of them, and also have a wide array of basic physical and elemental attacks that can be released from them. They can also be improvised like turrets.
Ittan-Momen - Animated rolls of cotton. Not one, not two, but many. In fact, these make up his entire hero outfit. Their supernatural nature has granted them greater durability than their original forms as floating rolls of cotton, comparable to metals. They can extend their elastic bodies to aid Poltergeist in combat and entangle opponents. They still hold a weakness for fire though. They can repair themselves by latching onto sources of cotton or wool, as well as form a wide variety of shapes.
Karakasa - Animated umbrella. He uses one like a weapon to wield. Works well as a sword & shield in one due to supernatural durability.
Cho'ochinobake - Animated paper lanterns. He has two of these guys hanging around him, and their firebreathing & flaming tongue come in handy. They often help carry him by the feet via levitation.

Weaknesses:
Humanity - once you get through all those layers of durable costume, you have one brittle human.
Exorcisms - Due to the nature of Tsukumogami, one trained in the art of Onmyoudo is a hard counter to Poltergeist's abilities, as they are able to disable his various friends and possibly revert them to their inanimate, non-supernatural states. Alternatively, protective charms do the trick as well.

Personality:
At first glance, Tsukune is cold, aloof and avoiding, responding with single words and standing in a corner while the big leagues talk. He often claims to be an alone-guy and prefers talking to his inanimate object friends.

Out of instinct, he tries to act cool, performing a wide range of poses, stances and phrases, a contrast from the serious Tsukune people tend to see him as.

History:
Tsukune's father, Professor Mogami, was a folklorist-scientist who wanted to uncover the truths of myth and legend in the world of science. He researched on the concept of Tsukumogami, and discovered that they exist due to a special artifact known as the Tsukumogami core, an item which possesses special life energy that when accumulated by an object for a hundred years, grants them sentience.

One day, Tsukune, suspicious of his father's work, ventures into his father's laboratory basement and by accident, assimilates this core into him. This core gave him power - power he, at first, couldn't control. It was bad timing, because at that time, his father was declared missing after a week.

With his uncontrollable power, everything he touched was beginning to gain sentience, so he opted to disappear into woods until he met a few beings he came to know as family - various Tsukumogami who taught him how to control his powers. Afterwards, he found a new resolve - to find his father, all while, unintentionally becoming a superhero with the alias Poltergeist.

Eventually, he met other Japanese Superheroes such as Scarab III & Wizard Charm.

His search for his father has always been limited to Japan, so, with the help of Scarab III's connections to various heroes, he decides to go to Addilan for a good while, lodging provided well for him. He felt that this was the ultimatum, and that this might be the very place his father could be.

Reactions: Ur Degaton
Name: Ashford Winters
Epithet: Cinder
Gender: Male
Age
: 24
Race: Meta-human

Appearance:
Ashford_Winters.jpg

When going on missions, Cinder wears a padded coat mostly for warmth over a skin-tight, high tech bodysuit. He saw no reason to wear masks of any sort, as he didn't mind his face being shown to the public. His other equipment include standard-issued boots and gloves, a toolbelt and sometimes a visor with an attached microphone depending on the situation.

Personality Traits:
Acedia: With his vengeance complete, Ashford lives life without care. He is indifferent to whatever happens beyond the walls of his confinement. While the management of the secret project actually like how much of a pushover he is, they would really prefer him to have some passion for his work.

Isolation: Ashford likes to remain alone most of his time. He can and is capable of participating in group activities, but his heart’s door would remain closed. He had no intention of making friends or any such things.

Madness: His mind and spirit had been broken once, and madness had enveloped the once gentle soul. While Ashford is generally friendly and gentle, there was no telling when he could just “snap” and transform into an engine of destruction. Or at the very least, make some very weird decisions. He has a tendency of talking to himself.

Temperance: Ashford’s patience is legendary. Even in the face of significant pain, he had the ability to endure all that came his way. It was only after being the last one alive in his family that he broke his mould and walked the path of vengeance.

Power
:
Psionic – Considered to be an extremely powerful psion, Ashford is able to use various forms of psionic abilities, but focuses on what was categorized as Psychic Energy Manipulation and Telekinesis described below. He is unable to use Telepathic abilities.

Psychic Energy: By concentrating his thoughts, he could make manifest and give forms to psychic energy. They can be as volatile or as stable as he imagine them to be – allowing him to perform feats such as creating a psychic armour (that can be seen with the naked eye) or a psychic sword, or throwing beams of psychic energy.

Telekinesis: At its most basic form, telekinesis is the ability to move and manipulate objects. However, in the hands of someone like Ashford, a single thought was enough to send trucks flying and stopping missiles in their tracks. Ashford is considered to be a true grand master in using his telekinesis, able to move buildings and manipulate objects easily.

Telepathic Deafness – Despite being a psionic of the highest order, Ashford is unable to access telepathic-related abilities or being affected by telepathic abilities (such as being the recipient of a telepathic message). This gives him an impenetrable mind shield, protecting his psyche from all but the strongest of telepathic assaults.

Weakness:
Athletics – Ashford is considered to be below par when compared to other superheroes or supervillains at his tier. This is due to him having average strength and stamina when it comes to physical abilities. While he had received some physical training, he is at most considered athletic in a normal human sense.

Humanity – Despite his considerable power, Ashford is still considered to be very human in nature. Anything that can kill a normal human being can kill him. Bullet in the head? Check. Drown in salty sea water? Check. Too much trauma to the body? Check.

Telepathic Deafness – Despite being a psionic of the highest order, his unnatural awakening and anguish had blocked his access to certain powers such as the ability use telepathy and telepathy related abilities, especially those that require empathy. Telepathic related abilities are abilities such as the ability to read minds, relay telepathic messages, psychically scan for mental activities, mind control, emotion manipulation, etc.

History:
Origin Story
Oldest of three children between Jason Winters and Elleana Winters, Ashford had a relatively stable and happy childhood when compared to many in this day and age. Jason and Elleana were responsible and loving parents, while his younger twin-siblings Olivia and Oliver were bright and strongly bonded to him. However, under the happy surface troubles continued to brew where Ashford couldn’t see, culminating the end result where Jason and Elleana officiated their divorced, with Elleana retaining legal custody of all her children as Jason left for another woman.

Already matured enough to know what went wrong, Ashford would take care of his home and his siblings as his mum went off to work. While he was afraid of things going wrong, he would hide all his fears, concerns and depression under the veil of a cheerful smile. He also never mentioned his hidden rage against his father who he had considered to have abandoned them. Still, being the eldest in the family he willingly shouldered more responsibility than he needed to in order to keep his family afloat as his mother juggled between work and stabilized herself emotionally. By the age of twelve, he would the person that handles his siblings from the moment they wake up to the moment they were tuck in bed, keeping the apartment they live in in a liveable state, did the shopping on his own, and still doing his homework among other tasks.

When he was eighteen, things quickly fell apart when Oliver was falsely accused of raping a girl at a party. Elleana, Ashford and Olivia all rallied together to protect Oliver and professed his innocence, but what can a few people do against the tide of accusations that was raised against them? When all friends willingly abandon them to their fate? Unable to handle the stress and overcame by deep depression, Oliver eventually hung himself and Ashford was the one that found him. Eventually, the case was dismissed as there were never enough evidence presented, but the damage had already been done. His younger brother was already dead. They couldn’t even ask the girl that killed him why, as she was protected by law and didn’t even have to appear in person during a trial.

Several months later, Olivia was found battered and unconscious not too far from where their apartment was. A beggar found her lying next to a wall, her clothes torn and ravaged. Ashford and Elleana were informed and they rushed to the hospital, and were explained that there was heavy indication of rape. They were questioned by the police and went off their way to find who would do this to a girl. Ultimately, they couldn’t find the perpetrators. Olivia passed away as her heart failed her, amidst the screams and cries of her family.

After Olivia’s funeral and when Elleana was driving back to their apartment, she asked if Ashford had ever regretted living like this. He didn’t answer, but she gave him a smile. Telling him that it would be all over soon – and the pain would all go away. She purposely rammed her car into a truck.

It was during this time that his powers awakened. A thin layer of telekinetic energy enveloped him during the entire ordeal, acting as an armour that protected him from all the resulting damage. Ashford escaped the worst of the ordeal as he was thrown out of the car by the resulting impact. However, he was forced to witness his mother being impaled in her car, trying to hold out to him before an explosion was set off, instantly killing his mother and the truck driver.

When he eventually recovered and woke up from the hospital, the doctors claimed his survival a true miracle. However, when the police came to take his statement about what he remembered in the accident, he didn’t tell them what transpired in the car but just said that his mum lost control at the wrong place, at the wrong time. While the police didn’t believe him fully as his statement conflicted with their gathered evidence, they left him alone. The police had also told him that they had contacted his father Jason, but he never turned up. Eventually, he was forced to face the wife of the truck driver on his own who barged into the ward, calling his mother a murderer as the accident killed his husband. He can offer no words of consolation except for silence.

He was eventually forced to sell the apartment that he had inherited for the payment for his medical bills as well as settlement for the wrongful death case brought against him, despite being a survivor from the same accident himself. He decided to settle the case out of court and paid them what he could and he eventually rented a small one-bedroom apartment in the city outskirts, where he was supposed to continue with his life.

If one could consider surviving living.

Eventually, he realized that it would be better off for him to simply just… disappear. There was, in the end, nothing to live for. Before he died, he visited his former home, the tree where his brother hung himself, the park where his sister murdered and the stretch of road where his mother decided to kill them both. He broke down, decided that it would have been best if he had died too. Before he could die however, he would have his revenge on the people that did this to all of them first – even if this meant that he won’t meet his family in heaven.

He began to actively master the ability that had awakened within him that he had been trying to ignore for all this while. He tapped into it, calling upon it, and the power responded. It took him almost a year to explore his powers while he lived in seclusion – testing them out on unattended objects and even on abandoned buildings. He had even tested it out on those who were foolish enough to cross him. When he was confident enough, he returned to the city that trampled on his family and him.

He kept to himself under the shadows, understanding that exposing himself then would do him no good. Revenge was a dish best served cold. Using his powers, he had used somewhat extreme measures to gather information that he needed to determine his siblings’ murderers. While this did increased the heat on him, he managed to slip through the police’s investigations – they did try of course, but he did not left his old life behind with an intention to return as he knew his actions would easily link back to him. Who else would be bothered enough to find out the death of two youngsters?

It didn’t take him long enough to put all the pieces together and solve the puzzles. His first would-be victim was an uptown, college age girl. Just started, in fact. He observed her from afar and saw the guiltless, carefree life she lived. Her smiling figure under the rays of the bright sun irritated him. This was the woman that caused Oliver’s death? This bag of rotten meat with a pretty face? Once Ashford made sure that he had taken out the policemen protecting her, he confronted her. During the confrontation, the young woman gloated over Oliver’s death. She said that it was payback for refusing to become her new boyfriend. In fact, his suicide didn’t satisfy her at all! She wanted him to suffer in both life and death – and what could be better than to make his twin suffer a worse fate than death?

However, her confidence soon gave way to fear when she realised her guardians and the cops both didn’t appear to defend her despite buying them so much time.

Ashford took his time with her. She yelled, cried and begged as she struggled to escape. She would let him run some distance, but would always drag her back telekinetically. He found no pleasure in doing it, but find it necessary to make her final moments as painful as possible. Her final moment bears some semblance of how his brother passed away. His brother ended his journey in silence. This one ended hers while wailing, screaming and pleading.

The rest of his hunt was easy as the woman had kept tabs on the men that worked for her during that time. She fully intended to deal with them, but him appearing had forced her to keep her cards hidden. He sought out the three men. He did not bother with any sort of tortures for these three since the main culprit was already dead, so he sent them on their merry way to hell. He snapped their necks as he looked from afar.

With his vengeance completed, he still could not find peace. The empty, gaping hole in his being remained. He finally understood that nothing he could do would bring his family back. Time to finally die, he told himself as he shot himself far away from the city, alerting his presence to the authorities and a team of superheroes who were hunting him down for his crimes. Once they caught up with him, Ashford had already cleared some of the sadness from his heart. He welcomed them and proceeded to accept their challenge. During the battle, he had made many suicide attacks that led to the team to the conclusion that he was trying to die. The heroes reasoned with him, told him to hang on to life no matter how sad it would be. While he never recovered his passion for life, he had a change of heart, and he promised them he would try to live.

He was eventually soundly defeated as he fought half-heartedly and was captured by the team of superheroes. After he was handed to the police, he didn’t fight back seeing that it would be pointless - his task was finished, and he was ready to receive judgment for his actions. He was eventually sentenced to life without parole for four counts of first-degree murder and was sent to Addilan Penitentiary for the Superpowered to pay for his crimes.

During the next five years in prison, Ashford finally had the time to heal himself of his pains and scars - although they were mostly permanent. He regained some semblance of peace, although he made it perfectly clear to the other inmates that he wanted to be left alone. Despite his physique, none of the other inmates dared to cross the line he dictated. While his full telekinetic powers were restricted, the power dampener that the prison used still couldn’t fully remove his power –the inmates found out how dangerous he could be very early during his incarceration. However, other than the early ruckus he caused in order to establish his own domain within the prison, he was mostly peaceful and non-confrontational. The wardens appreciated this and would often fulfil his requests for things like pens and papers, tabletop RPG rulebooks and whatnot. He would even knit during his free time, an activity that the warden keeps a close eye on.

It was also in the prison that he would later be “introduced” into a top-secret government project that supposedly never existed. He was to be trained as one of their weapons in their time of need - to which Ashford accepted in stride. During his “orientation”, he was given the code name “Cinder” as recognition for his abilities – as well as for being the mellowest of the possible recruits in terms of personality and temperament.

I haven't had much time to read anything, but I'll get to it later today, and give critiques tomorrow...unless my internet at home decides to work, in which case critiques may arrive after I read them. ^.^"

Should anyone wish to know what sort of character I'll be using...I'll be honest and say I haven't decided, but I have a few potential ideas.
My first idea is rather simple, she would be a hero, more specifically a hero who uses magic. Think Zatanna for an example.
bunny_girl_by_lave2217-d9dxxb1.png
My second idea, similar to the previous, but a villain user of dark magics.
26cc92829a82ba631e27bcfa5d1c5b65.png
My third idea is less magic, being a hero with kinetikinesis.
497696a5d9cbf1e962d5dcdbbb1aff88.png
My fourth idea, a villain, would be a beastial girl(of the wolf variety), who's home was destroyed by poachers. Seeking redemtion, she views most humans to be just like poachers. Other villains view her more as a mascot, than a serious villain.
a111f3339e835ce6c75bacbad7de7fb6.png
My final idea, undetermined if she'll be hero or villain, is a girl who can through the wonders of a mutant ability, turn to a slime like substance. Could be interesting if we get a hydrokinetic.

"I have literally no idea what's going on."

Name:
Big B

Alias:
Jumpcat

Affiliation:
Heroes

Age:
Adult

Powers & Abilities:
Jumpcat has extreme jumping capabilities, capable of leaping up to a hundred metres upwards and forward in a single bound. His legs, frontal and hind alike, are rather springy.
He has a degree of superspeed, but it is only up to slightly above the speed of sound, inferior to a standard speedster. And that's with effort. By standard, his usual running speed is half that of the speed of sound.
He is able to scale walls and other vertical surfaces.
He has a good degree of enhanced durability and shock resistance, allowing him to resist impacts, crashes and such, as well as fight the usual larger-than-him enemies. This makes him bulletproof, but enough lead and his skin will crack.
He has basic cat physiology traits on top of his powers - landing on his feet, disaster detection, seeing ghosts, enhanced senses, padded feet to avoid detection, and the like.

Equipment:
Button-activated costume.
The button is attached via a standard-looking belt-like collar with a marble-like centre that has a letter B on it, the frontal part revealed and the hind part hidden. When pressed, it turns 180 degrees around and now reveals its other side with a stylized J with cat ears and the curved side of the J resembling a cat tail, and a suit spreads out over Jumpcat's body from the collar. This suit primarily consists of a full body grey suit that covers most of his main body except his paws and feet, and a red mask that covers his upper head except for his ears, completely with a flat, foldable adaptable nanotech-material visor in the form of eyeholes that is specialised to adapt the user's eyesight to situations, this one altered to Jumpcat's cat physiology so that he can see in the day the same way he sees at night.

Weaknesses:
Lack of opposable thumbs - self-explanatory. Can probably hold a sword by the mouth, but can't operate guns or arrows. Computer boards are still possible.

Personality:
B is the bright, cheery one of any group, often cracking jokes and making puns. Despite his fun-loving nature and an aura that brings people together, he knows when and how to fight seriously.

History:
A stray calico kitten left in the streets of Addilan, B had to do what he could to survive, facing threats such as territorial dogs and animal control. One stormy night, his fate changed.
Lightning struck his wet, soggy body, causing the fleas that infested his fur to meld into his DNA. This caused him to acquire the traits of fleas - their exoskeletal durability, their ability to stick to surfaces, and most significantly - their vast jumping abilities. The lightning also surged through his brain, granting him intelligence to par with humans, as well as the ability of speech. He was elated with his powers, and used them to fight his way out of stray territories, dogs and the like. However, he soon evolved into a hero, starting from saving people from simple crimes like robberies and thefts, soon having his own Rogues Gallery consisting of villains such as Murder, Rat King and Reverse Lycanthrope. Back then, he had a makeshift costume of random newspapers wrapped around his body. That was how B became Jumpcat.
One day, he was taken in by a human named Cosette Jane, who had inherited a great knack of tinkering from her parents, whom, without her knowledge, are superheroes as well. Cosette eventually discovered his secret when she found that he talked, and offered to help him out with his hero work, such as designing a costume compressed in his collar.

I have had time to read, and my net seems to be working, so as promised critiques:
@Ur Degaton I can see your's is still a major wip, would you like me to critique it as is, or wait until you are finished? ^.^

@Crow Poltergeist seems amazing, I don't really have much critiquing to do there honestly. But, for Jumpcat I would like to ask for a description(or image) of some kind of his collar, and the suit he uses. Other than that, they both look to be in a state to be accepted. :3

@FrozenTear My honest critique: I love him, so much. I want to find something to ask you to fix, but there's nothing, there are a few minor grammar errors, but I won't get that picky. I can't wait to see the appearance, and you can be consider him accepted. ^.^

As for my character, by the voting of Crow and Frozen(can I call you that, or do you prefer something else?) I shall utilize the first idea. She will be the Harley Quinn of heroes. Completely unpredictable, and super unserious. Prepare for such antics as making burglar's guns shoot silly string and turning bombs into cupcakes(that still explode, sending cupcake guts everywhere). >:3

Thanks for the early approval!

I've added the image and rewritten the last part of the bio as I rushed the last part. I've got giant spiders and spider swarms to kill in Stolen Lands.

Edit: I approve of the incoming cupcakes, cookies and pies shenanigans. They will go well with tea.

Antihero will be up soon^^

Jumpcat's costume has been described. Added a few useful features, like adaptable vision to make up for those night-adapted eyes in the day.

Nothing like an animal hero.

Active - One thing that can't be said about Lynn is that she lacks energy, in fact some have speculated that she has so much it would take more tranquilizer to knock her out than three elephants. A villain once attempted to confirm this, but the tranquilizer he was using fired silly string, instead of the darts.

Charismatic - Lynn is a born showman, and with the way she dresses combined with her energy and random antics, it can be hard for people to ignore her. Of course, it could also be due to the last person that ignored her was a news anchor, and while he was talking to the camera, she turned her wand into a frying pan and hit him in the head, while scolding him for not paying attention. And somehow, she's still a hero.

Brutal - There are times, like above, when people get to see another side of Lynn. The unhappy side. It's not a very flattering viewpoint, and hitting people with frying pans is the least violent thing she's been noted for, having credit for sending other heroes halfway across the world(or once, in the case of the hero known as Steel, sending them to the moon) when they interfere with her peculiar way of heroing, among other things.

Conceited - Lynn loves attention, to her it is the most important thing. Saving people isn't something she does out of the goodness of her heart, she does it for the attention. Of course, some of the people she rescues wishes she hadn't, but she still get's attention from the news and even has sponsors(her biggest sponsor being the Addilan Casino, surely you saw the big billboards of her telling you it's a magical place).

Power:

Magic - How Lynn's magic works is a mystery to most, she's been seen chanting spells, writing runes, simply snapping her fingers, and one witness swears he just saw her blink and cause a magical effect. Her limits have never been tested, but she is ranked as one of the most powerful heroes. Though, that shouldn't really intimidate anyone too much, because she's also one of the lowest ranking heroes, due to caring more about her showmanship and personal image than the actual heroing(she has on more than one occasion let villains escape in the name of 'a sequel battle').
Applications - Lynn can utilize her magic in a variety of ways, such as transmuting objects, teleporting herself or others, and more. The applications of magic are as far as her imagination can take her. Sadly, she doesn't use the ability as effectively as other heroes might.

Weaknesses:
Reality - The biggest weakness to her power is what the hero world would call an imagine breaker, an ability that in some way or another negates all supernatural effects or powers.

Herself - Arguably her real biggest weakness, she cares more about her personal image than anything else, and will do most anything if she thinks it will promote her image.

History:
Born to a well known hero mother Lady Luck, and a father that stayed out of the hero community despite also possessing abilities. It was revealed rather early on in her baby stage that she had come into powers herself, though they resembled neither of her parent's abilities to the shock of the doctors. Her first magical act that revealed her powers was turning the doctors stethoscope into an octopus arm while he was giving her a checkup, it nearly killed him. From that moment on, her parents barely got any sleep, and had to take extreme safety precautions with her. Some predicted that the 'demon child' was karma's way of getting back at Lady Luck.
As she grew older, not only did she learn to walk and talk, but to control her ability. At the age of five, when she had gained a semblance of decent control over it, they tried to take her to the hospital to get the power tested so they could properly register her, however she refused to use the ability. In future years, they would try to test her, but she would either not perform the test, or do something so random and destructive that they were unable to properly gauge it.
When she hit the age of ten her mother pushed her to try out heroing, saying it would allow her to use her ability to help people rather than cause trouble. Lynn quickly proved her wrong however, managing to make a name for herself doing both at the same time. Though, her career also took off, having appeared on talk shows as one of the youngest heroes in the community. At the age of twelve she moved out on her own, to pursue heroing as a full time career, without the nagging of her mother on how to do it properly, and that it wasn't about the spotlight. She was quickly rising to fame, and as it usually does, the fame went to her head just as quickly.

Gonna double post here(it can't be helped), and give my critique to @Ur Degaton

The first, and most important thing, is that if this object he's building will have a significant effect on the rp, I'm gonna need you to PM me what you have planned, so that I can work around and hopefully help implement your character plot stuffs well enough.

The second, you can consider him accepted, once you take the above course of action. ^.^

On top of my previous character(which I have to quit procrastinating and get to work on), I will be making a character 'enrolled' in the government program that does not exist, as well as a someone in charge, but an image for the someone in charge is still being sought, so for now, I give you a preview of my villain in the program(and a bit of better insight into the program itself):

Her alias is Valkyrie, though she doesn't take souls to the halls of Valhalla, she keeps em for herself and uses them when needed. Initially the government had simply planned to use her lantern to take the souls of villains to force them to fight, but she revealed two things to them. The first, it wouldn't work that way, because abilities are linked to the soul, take away the soul, you take away the abilities. The second, her lantern is merely a conduit for her power, so even if they took it from her, it wouldn't do anything for them. She was then hit from behind with a tranq dart, having missed the sniper posted across the street. When she woke she was in a cell, and was told nanites were flowing through her bloodstream, and that not obeying any given order would cause them to attack her blood cells, resulting in death.

I forgot to ask.

What's the planned response time for the RP? Once every few days? Once a week?

I usually ask that everyone try to post at least once a week. ^.^
