Premise
An Absolver, the immortal instrument of combat. With the Guides commanding them, the Absolvers can live again even after they die, to better serve the Guides goal of rebuilding their world after the fall of the Empire of Adal. Teaching martial arts and wielding Folding magic (able to store away and summon items, such as swords) to the Absolvers.
We will be playing as these Absolvers. First, we begin our training. Then we protect the people of Adal and the surrounding tribes. And then we must the mighty Khalt tribe.
World
After the fall of the Empire of Adal, the many tribes of the humans have turned against each other. The days of peace are gone. Now, there is only combat. With one warmongering tribe growing in power and looking to subjugate all others: The Khalt.
Those who who have not been conquered by the Khalt fear that a terrible doom has come to their world. They have turned to their faith in the god Anlek and his laws.
Game
This is based on a video game of the same name. You can check gameplay out on YouTube or buy the game on Steam. Give it a look if you want to better understand this world. We will be taking some liberties with the plot and world though.
