Elsie skipped around the courtyard happily, pausing every so often to stop and look at the wonderful foliage. The courtyard and the gardens were her two favorite places in the entire kingdom.. and if she wouldn't be allowed to rule Aeresthia one day, then she wanted to be a gardener and plant and arrange flowers for people. Elly loved running around outside, especially loving the feeling of her skirt twirling and the cool breeze surrounding her. Juliana was the last born child to King Rendal and Queen Anne, thus making her the youngest and not unnormally the most spoiled... though some might wager to argue that Elsie, her older sister, was more spoiled because of her stuck-up attitude. Annie, if she wasn't in her room or outside playing could almost always be found with her mama. The four year old was exceptionally close to the queen... and was also quite shy and quiet around everyone that was not family... she was even quiet around the servants and guards who lived in the big castle with them. Lord Campbell found himself wandering through the cobblestone clad marketplace, perusing the various carts that held various goods and occasionally giving the driving horse, ox or bull a quick pat. Thomas was content with life. He ruled over a large portion of land, the same size as the other two lords yet slightly smaller than the kings, that was located to the west. Lord Venomenia, the youngest lord of the three had the land in the North which ended just before the Castle grounds, and Lord Lannister, the eldest of the three, held the land to the east. The Marketplace bordered the castle grounds to the south, allowing the king and his family to stay in the well protected center and near everything. As he wandered throughout, stopping occasionally at various vendors to chat he would allow his pale, moss-colored gaze to browse the items, seeing if anything would be worth buying that day. After all, he currently had an empty burlap bag slung over his shoulder and intented highly to buy a few things for his family. As he went on he found a bracelet that his wife, Jade, might like, a toy bow and arrow set for his son, Peter, a wooden toy sword and sheath for his eldest daughter, Oleysia, who was more interested in becoming a knight one day than playing with dolls, and a doll for his little lady, Mackenzi.

"Take that you mongrel!" Olly yelled, lashing the stick she was holding back and forth at an invisible enemy."Back, get back! No one can get into Aeresthia without the say so of the king!" she called to her imaginary opponent. "I am Caterina Brunhilde, Captain of the Guard, nothing will get past me" she said to the air, swiping rather wildly at the trees from the back of her pony. Oleysia was normally a quiet girl, but had a very active imagination... and many times when she became bored at home she would climb onto one of her trusty and gallant steeds and gallop off, usually to one of the fields or the forests at the edge of the kingdom. Today's trusty steed of choice was the small and white Shetland Pony, Olaf... and when they were out in the open, on their own, fighting off their enemies the duo was none other than Olly's hero, Caterina Brunhilde, and her mare, Blue. Sometimes Olly even brought her large dog, Pumpernickel, along to act as one of the Captain's dogs. Of course the nine year old would never truly be her hero, but she could certainly dream it.

Lady Lannister was well known as being not such a typical lady... which was probably why her daughter turned out to be the Captain of the Guard. After walking over to the manor from the small cottage she shared with her family on her lord's land, Oakley slid her newly polished dagger into it's holder on the opposite side from her sword and paused at the wooden door to her higher ups. Knocking, she waited for the structure to open and greeted the man she worked under respectfully "good morning Lord Lannister" she said lightly. Being the youngest and newest knight in all the land had its challenges most definitely, but it wasn't like any of this was new to her. Oak had been a squire since she was thirteen, training for the day she would become a full-knight... which happened about four months ago. Oakley had always been taught to check in with her superior, be it her lord or the king, and her head guard. She hadn't spotted William on her way to the manor.

A lot of her peasant friends were jealous of the royal and noble children, and rightly so. They got everything they wanted, and they got to spend their days playing outside opposed to working, trying to help their parents make a living somehow. Jaelyn wasn't completely unlike her friends... but she wasn't angry about the rich children, nor would she ever change her life. Yes, she had to work instead of play, but the life she and her mother had was pretty good... even without her father they were able to make things work which was an achievement in itself. Pushing open the large doors of the castle library, the nine year old shut them behind her and went to work sweeping her favorite room in the whole palace... possibly her favorite room in all of Aeresthia. Pausing in her sweeping at the window that overlooked the courtyard the small brunette let a small sigh escape her as she watched one of the young princesses, Elsie was it, twirling and running around in the grass. It did look like a relaxing and fun life... but wouldn't one get tired of doing the same thing every day? She continued sweeping until she felt her back hit something. Turning around to straighten the bookcase out she smiled, her murky brown eyes lighting up magnificently as she bit her bottom lip slightly and reached up to pull one of the books out. Zippyzoo certainly wasn't the best at reading, but her father had taught her mother how to read and he had started to teach her as well before he died. Her mother had tried to help, but there wasn't a lot of reading material in their cottage or around town. So while she couldn't understand a decent amount, she tried hard and was sure that eventually she would be able to read any of these books.

In addition to his own, small farm that he kept on the outer edge of Aeresthia, on the border of the king's land and Lord Lannister's land, Edwin also worked for the king. The stables were always such a calming place for him, and while this was the largest stable block in Aeresthia, serving the royal family and all it's guards opposed to the Lord's stables that were comprised of just the Lord's families and their smaller amount of guards, Eddie found comfort in being here. Working for the king had only brought him good fortune so far in life... the fortune, mainly, being the lovely lady he was courting currently, Caterina Brunhilde, Captain of the Guard. She was the most beautiful, most amazing, most fierce and just completely perfect woman in the entire world, not just this kingdom, Ed was sure of that. Now he just needed to make enough to buy or barter for a ring from the blacksmith whose prices were rather hefty... and of course he would have to talk to her parents... hopefully they wouldn't be opposed to a marriage between a peasant and a noble some time in the future.

The King hides his boredom as much as a member of the Royal Family is expected as he listens to the concerns of his people, and doles out judgements on what few crimes that are commited. Some go to the stockade, some are punished via menial labour, and others are pardoned. Surely, no person is foolish enough to commit a heinous act whilst in Aeresthia, to deserve a death sentence. But, once the usual procession is over, he stands from his throne, looking across his court. An odd feeling washes over him, an omen rarely visited in this peaceful land...

He gives a slight scowl at the current circumstances, checking his phone for a signal. "Yeah, I can't believe I let you lot talk me into this... I thought we were just going camping, not mountain climbing!" His large cat, stuffed into his coat, gives a loud meow at this. "Yeah, I know, bud. I hate it too." He frowns as he squints down at the aforementioned village, a bit of hope coming into his mind. "Well lookie that. Hopefully they've got some sort of hotel or something. I'm tired of sleeping on the ground."

Caterina's morning started out like normal. She was up just before dawn beginning her early solitary training she had adapted as a squire. Morning had passed and she was out patrolling the lands of the kings and the noble men. Later tonight she would call a grand meeting of all Knights in the land because there was something that unsettled her about this day. While out riding she spotted a sight that she almost didn't believe; Caterina spotted the daughter of one of the lords on a small pony. Caterina got off of her mare and motioned to Blue to be silent. She creeped up on her and watched as she was waving about the air with a stick proclaiming to be her. A smile crept onto the captain's lips she moved closer to Olly already knowing the little girl admired her so. "Don't wave willy nilly into the air Olly." That was the first few words out of Caterina's mouth. Knowing she startled the girl. "Be more deliberate with your strike." Cat picked up a stick and showed her then directed the girl on how to strike better.

For Expecting Mother Katherine Finn, it was a tiring morning. The young Mother didn't even want to get out of bed and it was still fairly early. At least to her. As she was fairly far along, pregnancy was taking its toll on her. With all the symptoms overwhelming her, especially the backaches, as her spine has been curved inwards due to the weight of the unborn child, Katherine spent most of her time in bed if she was not taking care of her young daughter or taking care of the house, as her Husband was a Knight to the King. Since Garret was still asleep, Katherine simply snuggled up closer to him, finding comfort whenever they cuddled or embraced. However, with him consistently away from home for most of the day, Katherine spent every little moment that she could. Because it wouldn't be long until she has to bring up two children. Relaxing into him, she grabbed his hand to place it on her belly, with her hand on top of his own. Her wolf, Aurico, simply rested on his own bed by the door, waiting for his mistress to awaken.

She knew the others would eventually join her so she started to walk down the mine shaft and let out a small yelp when it slanted and she slipped for the edge. Shea stopped herself just at the edge and breathed out a sigh of relief. She looked below her and saw the cavern was well lit by outside light. Their was a tunnel out. She turned back and started to climb to the top of the steep slide she had just taken. Her pick ax helped a lot especially getting back up on smooth rock like that." Guys I think I found a way to get to that village and castle." She said as she pulled herself back into the cave. She wasn't a hundred percent sure but she knew it led to day light

Please tell me we are on break." Nikolai said, moving his shades down to look at the others, revealing his hetrochromia eyes a bit. He heard their guide, Shea, say something that piqued his interest. "What did you find, Shea-babe?" He asked, being a dork with calling his friend that. He never meant anything by his little nicknames, as he never felt any sort of attraction to his group of friends. Seeing that the other's were also getting curious, Nik stood up and walked over, peering down the mine shaft. "What in the? Did they dig for precious stones or metals here?" If it was true, then this trip would be worth it if they all found anything that was over looked. James looked up at Shea as she climbed up even more making him sigh and slipped off the rock using the stick to help him up the mountain side like he was the whole time and finally got up next to Shea and looked down "yea you may be able to climb up and down mountains but how are the rest of us even going to manage going down something this steep?" He asked before stepping back away from the edge and leaning against the rock wall when suddenly it broke away making him fall back with it revealing a path going down in a spiral around the main shaft, James managed to prevent himself from falling all the way down it by grabbing onto the wall "well I guess I answered that one now didn't i?" Elsie could be very sweet... but she also had a major entitlement issue... one that didn't take kindly to those in lesser classes than hers. Without waiting for a response the seven year young child skipped off to look for her older sister. Upon finding her, Elsie reached up and gently tugged on her sleeve "We need to go into town to shop for our new ball outfits. You need to take me, mama won't let me go on my own" she said matter-of-factly, waiting for Kyla's response.

Jules listened intently to the story her mother was not far into when she spotted Jaqen approach and smiled brightly, wiggling free of her mother's grasp to go greet her favorite soldier. Looking up when his main knight offered assistance, Lord Campbell thought for a moment and nodded "I think you're right, Mackenzi will like that far better. Garret had enjoyed the time he was able to spend snuggled up with his wife and it was adorable to see his often sick daughter curled up with his wife's wolf, but duty called and that meant leaving the cottage on the castle grounds and reporting to the castle where he would be on castle guard duty until Caterina came back and re-assigned him elsewhere. Garret enjoyed castle guard duty. It got to ensure that no one entered or left without permission, and he often got to speak with the passing by townsfolk, many of whom he was friendly with and had helped heal nasty cuts and the like before.

Lincoln allowed his gaze to move from his serving Lord to the dogs. A type of animal that the blonde was not overly fond of. "Of course sir" Oakley responded lightly as she looked up at Will "I'll meet you at the overpass around noon" she said, more-or-less making a decision that most likely should have been left to him. Turning she gave a quick goodbye and went on her way to Lord Lannister's stables, arriving there just before the lord himself. The young knight was still quite knew and thus did not have her own horse... but Lady Lannister often let her use Dreamer ... especially when the task at hand had to do with her daughter. "Lady Lannister" she greeted kindly "May I borrow her again today? I am to check on young Lady Brunhilde's progress" she explained before being given the go-ahead to take the sweet mare. After tacking up the sixteen year old went off on her way, trying to find where Caterina could be. As she rode, Oakley once again had the thought as to why Caterina had a different surname than that of her parents... after all she wasn't married... right?

Jumping when she heard the heavy library doors creak open, Jaelyn shot up and quickly hid the book behind her back... had she been caught? She let ou a silent sigh of relief when she noticed it was just the guard... though he could still get her in a fair bit of trouble it had to be a fate better than that of being intruded upon by the king or any other member of the royal family. Grabbing hold of her broom she curtsied and dipped her head respectfully, "Sir H'ghar" she said carefully, always having trouble pronouncing his last name. Jae was a respectful and quiet little girl who avoided confrontation whenever she could, so when the only words from the grown mans mouth were 'the queen wishes to see you', Jaelyn felt her stomach grow heavy and felt like the blood was rushing from her body. Had she done something wrong? She and her mother couldn't afford to live if they both didn't work... especially since Zippyzoo was paid far less being only nine years of age. Following the guard out she curtsied in front of the queen and youngest princess, still holding the book in one hand and the broom in the other "Your majesties. I'm sorry I stopped working for a moment" she started before anyone had a chance to speak, the small brunette was almost certain that's why she had been summoned. "I promise it will not happen again. I just am so intrigued by the books my queen" she continued quickly, not fully realizing what the queen had said. When it hit her the young girl brought her dark gaze up to the queens, a mixture of awe, thanks and fear "Thank you very much..." she started but was cut off by the older daughter "but I'm afraid Elsie is correct. I must go and work like everyone else if I am to get paid. My mum hasn't been selling much in town lately and taxes have been... uh... well, nevermind. I'm certain you're aware your highness. Thank you though, here is your book back" the girl said kindly, handing Jack and the Beanstalk to the queen and scurrying off quickly. Elsie's words had stung, but she had tried not to show it... after all, the child was probably only expressing what they all felt.

"Oh just shut it, would you" Cambree half laughed, half sneered at their male companions. After all, she was the one with the life threatening illnesses and she was suspended who knew how high up in the air. If she had an epileptic seizure or a sudden drop in her sugar levels up here it could certainly spell disaster. Thankfully the day's choice of service cat, Caraway, hadn't acted up at all. From time to time he would pop his head up and out of the harness he was attached to on her back, but mainly he stayed hidden. Oddly enough Alex had also taken his cat along... though Cami wasn't really sure of his purpose. If she hadn't had to take Caraway or Paprika everywhere with her she probably wouldn't on certain excursions such as this one which could prove to be exceptionally difficult. "Shea I think the guys need a minute" she called up, though secretly she was enjoying the short break. Even though Nashville was completely fit this was still out of the ordinary for her. Pulling out her phone to take a few quick snapshots, Cam took a quick drink of water before passing the gallon of water around to whoever else wanted to use it, then secured everything once again and began the ascent up to the mine. After pulling herself up, Cambree and Shayla offered the guys whatever help they could before she took the moment to look around "Wow... this is really neat... but hell, it's damn steep in some places" Cam sputtered as she tripped and slid down a few feet before catching herself on a short stalagmite. At least the cave seemed to even out enough that no matter what you wouldn't go plummeting to your death unless you jumped off the edge. "So are you boys ready to go find your warm bed and breakfasts now?" she teased mildly. While her companions were all rather attractive physically, Cam wasn't really romantically attracted to any of them... she found them to almost be more like brothers.
