The premise is simple, it is set in the near future, and virtual reality has become a major industry. VR has essentially replaced the TV and computer, since you don't need a screen anymore, because you can just put a VR systemon and essentially live out the game or movie. VR systems have been used to help cure blindness and deafness, and has close the gap between people even more.
