Around midnight, the first attack was recorded when a man was arrested for biting another and the other man was taken to the hospital.

At the time though, no one knew that it was just the beginning. Not the doctors, not the police. Naturally, they were the first to go. At first it was a simple problem, taken care of by calling in more police from another station. It was contained, so to speak, they had it 'under control'. And so the day went on with only a simple news broadcast about a few crazies who were attacking people in the hospital and in the local jail. Kids went to school, parents to work, everything was normal.

But then it was let out. An officer was killed around 11am or so and one of the 'crazies' got out. Officers shot at him in an attempt to at least slow him down, but bullets to the legs and arms, even to the chest, did nothing to stop him. Within the station, all of the infected were getting harder to handle and eventually all were escaped and travelling through the city.

Within an hour, the entire city was filled with screams and sirens. Normal was now chaos. Humans attacking humans.

And of course, it's time like these that survival instincts appear. Times like these where natural selection is shown every second. The weak are the first to go and the strong rise. And that means both physically and mentally.

Will you rise, or will you fall?

Survivors are heading towards places that are claimed to be safe. Several places include a mall, a small camp ground, and the residence of a Military general within the city (an undisclosed location). The real question is: Is help coming?

And of course, the standard question that we all want answered: How did this place go to hell in the matter of hours?

This is a basic, zombie free-roam. Although, I would like to form a small group that will have the main purpose of heading to a safe-zone and/or trying to find some way to get out of the city to find out what happened. As well as another group, a military group with the 'purpose' of heading into the city and helping people get to a safe place (which is what they're telling people, truth be told they're recording how many survivors there are and if they'll be able to evacuate all of them when it comes time to blow the place up.) These two groups will probably, at one point, meet up and work together.

Since I was planning on having the military group get left in the city, but the locals know a few ways of getting out.

Sorry it's still a little 'undeveloped', I haven't done a group rp in a while ^^;

Occupation (for Locals): High school student and lead-singer for a small 'band' (which is really just her and a couple of others playing instruments, singing, and trying to make it big.)

A brief history: There's nothing particularly abnormal about her. An essentially normal life, aside from the fact that her parents seem to fight constantly and most of the people she calls 'friends' make her want to punch them in the face all the time. She goes to Hino High School and has an average GPA. She knows that the band she's in probably won't go too far, but she likes playing music and singing.

In addition, she's in a small martial arts club at the school. Kit tends to be the loner, tough-looking type, but she actually is a nice, kind-hearted kid beneath it all.

Anything else you want to add?: Don't call her Kitty or Kitten. People do it to make her sound girlier as apposed to her having a boy-ish name... They usually end up with a fist imprinted on their foreheads.

That's my character at the moment, I'll probably end up making a Military character (depending on how many people join).

Occupation ( Locals): Highschool athletic student. He plays on the football team, boxing and swim team, being that he's multi-talented he wants to do as much as possible and feels like he waste talent when he dosent do anything.
Breif History: Anthony grew up being the youngest out of two older brothers, his oldest brother was a track star and the second oldest was a basketball star, he felt the need to follow in the footsteps and prersure th talents he loved epecially football and swimming.

When he's not doing his practice on his sports he hangs out and skateboards with some dropouts around and abandoned pool that leads into a construction zone. He tends to run from the police and hide out in his friends house afterward.

Anything else to add?: He has a few tattoo's on his arms and chest, along with one ear peirced. He also tends to have a short temper and gets into a few brawls.
