Evren
T5fVqSU.jpg
Looking over a table that seeming had a chart of the area beyond Haven's walls, the demonic leader would move her golden eyes over every inch of the paper. Her brow was furrowed with worry, eyes appearing tired from sleepless nights, and her body shaking from anger. Any within the room would tell how fragile the woman was at this point, however, instead of a breakdown, one is more likely to get fire spewed at them! A candle was nearby, dancing about as the disguised demon would look up towards the doors to her 'office'. "Enter.", her voice was firm, yet the anger in her voice did not subside. A report, apparently...one that did not go in Evren's favor. The candle would flicker to life, the fire growing in strength and nearly melting all the wax! "Get. Out. NOW!", she shouts suddenly, hands slamming on the table as the small objects were displaced from the surface.

With the leader's leave, the subordinate left hurriedly, nearly bumping into the second-in-command. The fearful Ravinca member would bow his head respectfully before hurrying on his way. Within her chambers, Evren was in a mix of anger and sadness, on the brink of a meltdown at this point. "Where are you...?!", she would cry out in agony. Her fingers would clutch a trinket, a chain of silver with a name inscribed in a flat piece of silver; the name of her son, Aloren. Her thumb would trace along the tiny piece of silver, it appeared to fit around the wrist of a toddler. A mother's fury to those would seek to do harm her young, a mother's worry to the whereabouts of her child, a mother's failed duty to safeguard her child's future...it all ate away at her.

After forcing leadership from Nue, her second-in-command, Evren has devoted all her time and effort to find her son, Aloren. She knows who took him, humans, it had to be humans. However, she has no proof of this and because of this, she has been less of a leader to the clan. It's clear that many of the demons under her command dislike the idea of doing nothing but searching for her child and many believe that she is unfit to lead.

Nue Rebellia

With his arms crossed and crimson gaze focused onto the leader of the Ravinca clan as she had been scrambling around all over the city as well as checking every corner of the city for her lost child; the second in command demon known as Nue Rebellia simply stood there with clear concern across his facial expression even as he breathed through his mask steadily. "Madam Evren--..." Just as he spoke out so much as a single word the sound of knocking on the door beside him had his concerned expression shift to that of a stern expression as he opened the door to allow the subordinate enter the office only to deliver pointless information.
As expected, Evren became furious about the reply and commanded the subordinate to leave immediately as that was exactly what he had done. Making sure to close the door behind the male before returning his gaze back upon the woman; he soon approached the table just to straighten his stance and place both hands behind his back. "Madam Evren...Might I make a suggestion. Clearly, as it appears...the other clans are not seeming to put any resources to this. I suggest we enter into the human realm and go on a full search directly. I will personally lead the search if you would allow me to madam."

Knowing well enough the rules of the city of Haven and for each clan; one of which was to never enter the human realm with such a large number of demons, especially all from one clan. The reason for such a rule was to both respect the treaty as much as possible that was signed by the founders centuries ago as well as the dangers of how it would leave the group a bigger target for demon hunters. Nue on the other hand also knew with attempting to find clues within the city about who in particular kidnapped Evren's child was going to be only pointless since if someone was able to infiltrate the city and kidnap a child of one of the leaders while also escaping without anyone seeing, they most likely were specialized in such things and probably covered their tracks quite well.

Ever since he had joined Haven and found his way into the Ravinca clan, Nue has always been the most loyal member of the Ravinca clan among any of the other members. Although he lives in Haven, his loyalty completely lies to the clan and it's leader and no other, he will still show respect to all the other clans and civilians though it will never compare to that of how he will follow every order that Evren might give as well as do what he can; even if it might cost his life, to make her content.

His voice was probably the only thing that came in clearly, looking back to her loyal Second, Evren's eyes seemed to burn brightly with fire before shutting them. Breathing steadily, the woman would center herself even for a moment. "You know the rules...", she began, "...but at this point I am about to raze every town I come across.", she admitted coldly. "Avaddon wants peace...can you believe it, peace?", she scoffs softly and approach Nue. "Peace is a lie. This world we live in a farce. The humans won't leave us alone. How can we trust the ones within our city if THIS is the result?!" The fire returend to her eyes, which then turned towards the map of Haven and scanned over the parchment once more.

"No...", she spoke softly as her body began to shake. "No, they started this...now they will pay!". Again, her hands slammed down on the table. "They will leave the territory or die.", such extremes...but what was she saying? The smoke from the candle would begin to pool, swirling about until several ravens would be created while the fire in the candle would grow and move into Everen's hand. The smoke ravens would fly around the Ravinca leader, cawing at her before settling on the table in front of her and begin pecking at the map. "They will leave...or burn.", she reiterates her threat and the raven with fiery eyes would spread their wings and begin to take off. It seems she was completely lost to anger...

The last thing the male would've expected to hear at this point considering the situation and state she was in was the fact that she brought up the whole point of knowing what the rules of the city were. Slowly, Nue nodded his head as his gaze shifted down towards the map that was on the table, listening to her continue on about how she was feeling as well as about the leader of the Black Rose clan wanting peace with humans when they dared to step into the city of Haven and go as far as to kidnap a young child. With how angered Evren became, all Nue could do at the time was simply clench both of his hands into fists he hated the fact that he had no power to be able to help her currently. "If we can not leave the city in such a way to search...instead of killing off or running off the pathetic humans from the territory...why do we not make ourselves known among their own and do the same as they dare do upon us? Kidnap them and interrogate them to see if they know anything of who might've stolen the child?"

All the while as he brought up the possible suggestion of what to do, his gaze followed the sight of the smoke morph itself into ravens as well as the flame dancing in the palm of her hand with ease. There was no doubt that she was probably ready to start a bloodbath if it had to be done to find her child, and while Nue would support her through whatever decision she would decide, he wanted to also attempt to be the voice of reason to help her figure out a way to find the child before she lost possible options she could use. "Madam Evren...If you would allow us. I will send out the best of our scouters to find the humans in our territory and capture them one after another...surely, the other clans do not need to know of this...so we should be fine with this, yes?"

Her eyes would search the map as Nue spoke. Her hands twitched at his suggestion, part of her thought he was trying to protect the humans, yet the other part could see the logic and reason to this. "This...is a good plan...", she would close her hand, the flame returning to the candle and immediately the smoke ravens would dissipate, letting out a final caw before they disperssed. "They deserve it. You can go...", she would state flatly before waving her hand dismissively. "Nue...", she would state softly before turning towards him. The fire in her eyes were gone once again, her features softening as she faced him. She looked as if she was going to say something, but the words wouldn't come. The Second would likely know what she was going to say...Thank you.

Once the flames that danced around Evren's fist began to return to the candle upon the table, Nue had known that at the very least, Evren had calmed down from her full rage. Without another word, he continued to await for his orders until she stated that he could leave; with a single nod of his head, he bowed before her just as he turned to leave the room. Right as the dark haired male approached the door, hearing his name being called out had him halt and turn right back around to face the woman in case she might have an order for him. As she remained silent only to have her gaze locked onto his, Nue simply flashed her a smile with his eyes before nodding yet again as he took his leave with the door closing behind him.

By the time he was out of her sight, the male placed a hand over his chest just to grasp the collar of his long sleeved shirt before exhaling a low breath underneath his mask. For the longest time, Nue has wanted to tell Evren the truth about his own feelings towards her though never brought himself forward to do so out of his respects towards the woman since she was once married to the known Founder of the Ravinca clan and now was the leader of the very clan her husband once ruled over. How was he ever to admit something like that without it ending horribly.

Shaking his head at the thoughts that roamed his head, Nue immediately rushed down the hall before heading over towards the training grounds of the Ravinca manor. There he found several men and women of the clan training by either sparring with one another or using one of the pieces of equipment. "You, you, you and you! With me! The rest of you, go into city. Remain in Ravinca territory and find any humans lingering around! Do not attack them, but demand that they come to the manor within the next hour or I shall come for them myself!" As he commanded of the troops, they all quickly nodded their heads before scattering out in different directions, all the while the four that he selected out of the group followed him as he headed out into the city to do just what he called out the rest to do. The reason he called for everyone to head out as a group was to avoid any possible negative outcomes in case any of the humans were hunters in disguise and dared to attack in the middle of the city.

As soon as Nue was dismissed, Evren would turn back towards the map of Haven and rip it. Angry. So angry. Always so angry. The demon was struggling with her stability and it got to the point that she couldn't sit idle any longer. Grabbing a cloak she would depart the meeting room with haste, rushing through the halls of the Japanese-styled mansion. The cloak was wrapped over her arms and as she stood outside a door. Many times she's walked by this room but never before has she hesitated like this; it was Aloren's room. Her heart throbbed in her chest as she stood outside it, trying to muster the courage to enter. Her hands began to tremble and soon she reached for the sliding doors, pulling the door aside would reveal a room in disarray with upturned furniture, scattered items, and a broken window. The item that drew the most attention though, was the small empty bed with the sheets thrown about. "I will find you, Aloren...", she mutters softly before looking towards the broken window where the culprit likely entered and escaped. It was a quick attack; they knew exactly what they wanted and knew how to get it.

The leader's mind began to swirl with thoughts, could it have been an inside job? A traitor among her people? Or perhaps the Black Cross had finally found them. No, impossible, the Cross had been exterminated a long time ago - there would likely only be individual members at this point! Anxiety swirled within her heart, pressing against her chest like a ton of stones. She had to get out, she had to do something! Her human form disappeared in a cloud of cinders and smoke, revealing a pair of wings, charred skin, and fiery eyes and soon enough, the demon took to the skies. Why? - She had to find her Second and help in the search or conduct her own.

Once gathering the members of the clan that he commanded to come with him, the crimson haired second in command immediately took his leave from the Ravinca manor just to head into the moonlit streets of the city. His sniper holstered on his back as he and the other three clan members searched the town left to right for any possible human that still wandered the streets or human homes that were still lit inside to assume that they were still awake. Since Nue lead the search, he walked several feet ahead of the other three male demons and since his focus was mainly on that of the search he wasn't fully aware of any chatter that might be going on between the trio behind him.

Meanwhile, the three male demons whispered underneath their breathes to one another about the situation and this whole order about going around the territory of Ravinca in search of humans to interrogate them about something that happened to the leader of the clan. Some even questioned whether or not Evren deserved the position she had as the leader of the clan as well as whether or not Nue should be in the position he was considering his illness and need for such a handicap with the mask he wore. "Honestly...any of us could make better seconds than him. Look at him, a good hit to the back right now and us snapping that mask off and it's over for him.." As one of the males spoke in his hushed tone, the other two nodded their heads in agreement.
Even as they spoke about all this, none of the trio dared make a move since if anything were to happen; they would've been sentenced as treason and possible death considering the fact that Evren was not too kind of a leader at times and with the anger she had about the situation it probably only would make it worse.

"And don't get me started about Evren...I've been apart of this clan almost as long as her. I've been loyal to the bone and done whatever was told of me and more...and she gets to be leader just because she was married to the founder? Seriously? I swear, I would've made a better leader than she ever could!" Accidentally as the very same male that was speaking earlier spoke up louder from his annoyance about their clan's leader, the trio had been unaware that Nue had already began listening in once he had heard Evren's name. Finally, as the male finished his sentence, due to the trio looking at one another rather than their search around the city; the second in command rushed the demon male that was speaking to the ground with a palm to his throat before slamming him fully into the ground till the very pavement of the street cracked underneath the pressure of Nue's grip.

"How dare you speak ill of madam Evren behind my back! If it weren't for the fact you are a part of the clan and every member's assistance is required for this...I would have torn off your skull and feed it to the feral!" As Nue spoke, his dark hues faded slowly into a golden crimson color while black steam began emitting off his entire body. The two other men started in shock at how quick and silent their second in command was, while the male demon on the floor shook in terror while attempting to apologize through his stuttering tone.

Evren

It's a large city and trying to find her Second was a near impossible task. Yet somehow, by random chance or perhaps fate, Evren would land at a nearby building. Then she heard...something. "Mommy...!" Evren's brow would furrow and her head would hurt slightly, gripping at her forehead she would shake it an look around "Mommy! the voice grew louder. "A-Aloren?!", panicked and alert Evren would fly up once more, eyes frantically scanning the area. Something caught her eye, a head of white and a pale waving hand is what caught her attention. Nearly a couple buildings away from Nue's location, Evren would proceed to saving her child...

Down the demon descended, landing in front of the human man who was clutching her child, eyes glowing brilliantly with fire. "Put. Him. Down. NOW!", the leader would demand with cinders flowing off her form and outstretched wings. The man before her was panicked, of course. "Wh-What are you talking about, M-miss Evren?!" "Don't act dumb. Put my child down!", it was then that she would lunge forward towards the human, grabbing him tightly by his neck and pulling him close. In reality, Evren was attacking a man with his child in hand - not hers. The child would shriek and the man would scream - until his throat was closed by her grip. The toddler was dropped and as soon as that happened, Evren would toss the human aside against the wall and a force of smoke would form to hold him in place. "Aloren...! It's okay, sweety...stop crying, mommy's here now...mommy's here!", she would coo to comfort 'her child', but the boy kept crying. "Help! S-Someone help Daddy!", the child would wail.

Keeping the male demon who spoke ill about Evren pinned down against the pavement of the empty streets, Nue's golden and crimson hues flashed in the darkness of the night while the male on the floor continued to beg for mercy and forgiveness for his words. He should've just beaten the man for his words right on the spot yet the second refused to do so in the end and simply released the male's throat just to stand and begin going on the search once more. "Go back to the manor immediately. I will deal with you after I return with madam Evren." As he commanded of the trio, the male that was once on the floor scrambled to stand up in protest to the command. Right before he could so much as speak a single word, Nue turned his head over his shoulder with pure rage in his gaze as sparks of flames began to emit from his entire body. "Now!"

Immediately after hearing the darker as well as slightly distorted tone in the second in command's voice, the trio scattered almost instantly to return to the manor without further questioning.

Exhaling a sigh from where he stood, Nue brought a single hand to his face to rub the bridge of his nose in annoyance. Moments passed as the sudden spike in a familiar demonic energy had caused the male to twitch in shock and confusion as he turned his attention straight over in the direction he felt the energy rise. "M-Madam Evren..?" Questioning himself, the fact that the leader was rising her power as high as she was meant clearly there was something going wrong. Without so much as a waste of a moment, with a single step towards the direction of where she was; he soared straight into the air with an explosion of flames that left a small crater where he once stood.
Luckily with her being nearby, it took only a matter of moments to reach his destination as he descended with the small explosion of flames in preparations for battle. Seeing a human man pinned against a nearby wall by black smoke that no doubt belonged to that of Evren, it was clear that she needed no assistance in battle. However the sounds of a child crying caught Nue off guard. Stepping over towards where his leader stood holding onto a wailing child, the sound of her words brought concern upon the second's facial expression.

"Madam Evren...? Madam Evren! Th...That is not the young master...Madam Evren, that child..he is human. Open your eyes madam Evren." Attempting to talk sense into the woman, even though most times he would side with her about anything and everything; this was one thing that he could not simply ignore.

Nue's arrival changed everything, the white-haired boy in her arms would fade into a child with dirty blonde hair with a reddened nose from crying so much. Evren would gasp and drop the child, who would scamper away towards his father while wailing. "M-Mister Rebellia!" the human father would cry with a mix of fear and relief. "I SAID BE QUIET!", the enraged demon would scream at the man, nearing him for but a moment. "I-It's a lie! Aloren....Aloren was here h-he was...", her body would turn towards the human again and raise her hand to strike him. "TELL ME WHERE MY SON IS!!!", the child below her would cower in fear near his pinned father. Evren meant no harm to the boy, just his father. She was clearly delusional at this point, panting quickly and nearly hyperventilating. "I DON'T KNOW!!!", the man would whimper and tremble. "LIAR" Evren raises her fist, a punch moving towards the man's body.

Standing before Evren as she had finally began to release the human child from her embrace only to watch as the child rushed over to his father's side. Nue's once gold and crimson hues shifted back to their ordinary dark red and blue gaze stayed locked upon his leader even when the human father called out to him. "Madam...young master Aloren was not here...The entire clan is still in search for him as well as looking for all the humans...please you have not rested in some time." As Nue constantly spoke to try and calm and convince Evren that it was just her rage and exhaustion making her see things, listening to her speak to the human man; the dark haired demon made no move to stop her for the time being.

Once she began to raise a fist to have it go forward in a striking motion, the sight of the child's fear and sorrow had Nue quickly reach forward with his own hand to grip her wrist. Clearly, with her rage; the second needed to put an excessive amount of his own strength into his grip to stop her from actually making contact and harming the human in the end. "Madam Evren!...W-wait! Let me deal with this man. Please go rest.." Slowly releasing his grip upon her wrist, Nue began to kneel before child and older man just to tilt his head before questioning the two. "Both of you. Answer my question as best as you can. Madam Evren...has lost her child, and we have suspected that no doubt it has to be a human who would've done so. Do you know anything about the outside world from Haven that might help us on our search?" Questioning the two, the child would tremble and sniff while he hid his face into his father's shirt.

The older man who was still sniffing and trying to steady his own breathing couldn't keep his gaze off the leader of the Ravinca clan. Fear still locked in his eyes as he nodded shakily to the question that he was asked. "I...I have h-heard rumors...I-I do not know, I-if it's true or not...B-b-but I've heard that supposedly th-there is a new demon h-hunter group formed somewhere...N-no one has ever s-seen them...but supposedly, th-they're much more dangerous t-than that of when the Black C-Cross used to be around." Stuttering over every word the man struggled to speak, Nue nodded his head in silence before turning his attention over towards Evren behind him to see her possible reaction with the given information.

Her fist was interrupted by her Second, straining to make contact with the pathetic human that was cowering before her. "Nue, let me go...!", once he began to question them, Evern would relax and clutch her head. He was right, she hadn't slept in days. The smoke that surrounded the father disappearred and released him. She began to step away, demonic form cloaked in smoke before her human form returned.

The man's answer, however, would cause Evren to twirl around eyes glowing brilliantly. "Impossible!" she felt anger, but more than that she felt fear. A hand was placed on her heart as she felt it breaking - or it might as well have been. "Aloren...can't be with them...h-he can't..." The mourning mother would feel dizzy, a mix of emotions flowing through her, all about one thing - her son. "Get a name. Search for them...whatever this new group is...I-I will..." Her hand would press against the building nearby as she walked, looking about ready to pass out. "I will go...rest for a while..."

After retrieving the information about how there were rumors about a new demon hunter group rising, not only was Evren was surprised about this but Nue was in quite a bit of shock as well. The last time he had heard about a demon hunter group was when the Black Cross used to be around and they had disbanded for quite some time now due to the amount of supporters there were towards demon and human peace; the fact that there was a new group that was possibly even more dangerous than them only brought even more concern for not only the child of Evren but as well as the entire city of Haven.

Even when the demoness Evren had turned his attention back upon the human male, the second in command kept his gaze and focus fully upon the human before him. Nodding his head slowly once he received orders about getting a name and searching for the new group that was lurking out there somewhere. "Straight away madam Evren.." That being the only response he gave when she had given him the order. As the demoness stated that she would go rest, Nue turned his gaze back upon her just to tug at the collar of his shirt upwards for him to speak into a small comm. link attached to his shirt. "Attention. I want at least two of you to get to where madam Evren's location is immediately. She will be returning to the mansion to rest. Make sure she reaches there unharmed...Do not let yourselves be seen. Only help if she appears as though she will fall. The rest of you, return to the mansion and prepare some tea and food for her." As the second commanded, each of the men and women who were on the search throughout the city for humans responded with a 'yes sir.'

"Though...Nue, sir. Where are you headed? Are you not returning with her?" One of the men over the comm. had questioned Nue only to have a silent response for a few moments. "I am headed to the human realm. Do not tell her madam Evren, simply inform her that I am in the search for the information about this new group..." With that, the rest of the comm. chatter went silent as nothing more than a 'crunch' of his own comm. link was heard over the rest of the members of the Ravinca clan. With Evren's condition, the last thing Nue wished for her was for her to stress her body and mind further by possibly following after him and possibly losing her temper when she found any of the possible suspects of the new group that the man spoke about earlier.

After complete silence came over the comm. links, the dark haired male quickly rushed in the opposite direction as to where the Ravinca leader walked in so that he could find his way out of the city and eventually reach the human realm.

It felt like an eternal walk back to the japanese-styled manor of her territory. Her legs and feet hurt from walking so much yet her mind was in a haze. When did she get here? Her eyes would float up the familiar gate of the practically empty abode. First, her husband was torn from her suddenly, now her sweet son - the only reminder she had of her beloved Lecarhn and her own flesh and blood. Ripped from her hands as violently as the Founder had been taken. Her legs shuffled her husk over the threshold of the gate before collapsing. Just as soon as she did, she felt hands upon her, helping her up. "...Nue?", she would weakly call before turning to realize it was a pair of loyal Ravinca followers; a man and a woman. Weakly, Evren would smile softly before tapping the woman's hands on her right shoulder. "Thank you...", she spoke softly, but it was clear that the physical and mental toll was great on her. The female demon would then glance to the man, giving him a curt nod before leaving Evren to her devices.

While the leader moved to rest, the pair that had been watching over her would converse. "She isn't well, I don't know why Nue continues to follow her...he should reclaim leadership.", the woman would comment solemnly. The male would shake his head and sigh before replying. "You know he won't. He's most devoted to her...some have even said he actually loves her." Despite these harsh words, they rang truths; Evren was falling apart and Nue would inevitably fall with her if he doesn't cut himself off from the implosion. The female demon would tap her earpiece once and begin to speak, "The Leader is resting soundly, we will watch over her until Nue's return. Do not mention his cross into the human realm to her.", the radio transmission would cut, confirmations being wired over to her. A single nod and the young woman would return to her overwatch of the manor with her partner. Meanwhile, in the human realm...

The city where the Ash Wolves called their home was a vast nearly extensive metropolis - it was the largest city the humans had in their territory and the most advanced. Akin to a cyberpunk setting with upper-class and low-class lives and everything in between. It was working somehow...mostly. Those who cared for a simpler life would simply leave the complex life of technology and reach back into the roots of simplicity.

Indeed, this city must be a conundrum as Haven in comparison was far behind the advancements of humans. Sure, Haven made plenty of advancements to convenience their citizen's passages but humanity? Humanity had lept far ahead...holographic screens, exosuits, and flying cars that pass between the skyscrapers far above the ground like a highway of flying metal and lights!

With the thought that Evren was going to be looked after by the rest of the Ravinca clan, the dark haired demon could at least travel to the human realm at ease knowing that he did not have to worry too much about anyone daring to harm her back in the city without his watch.

It took little time for Nue to reach the massive gates that lead out of the city; standing on both sides were two male guards dressed in metallic black and golden armor that gazed out into the thick mist that covered the forest on the exterior of the city limits. They were there to make sure no dangerous wildlife whether it mortal or demonic entered the city unchecked.
When Nue began to exit down the middle of the massive open gates, both men turned their crimson gaze over only to find that a second in command of the Ravinca clan was in their presence. Bowing to him out of respect due to his high ranking status, the dark haired male showed them no attention before his entire body was quickly set ablaze for a mere moment before he took off into the sky with his demonic form.

Soaring through the clear night sky, his crimson gaze shifted as he searched the grounds below for any signs of human that might've been wandering a bit too close to the city suspiciously. If the target who captured the Ravinca leader's child wanted to return to the city to cause another kidnap or even possible murder, Nue would spot them way before they dared reach even close.
Without any luck for the few moments he flew in the sky, the dark haired demon ascended further into the sky just to hover in a single spot for him to turn his attention from one spot to the next in search for the largest nearby city. Noticing one was still quite in the distance but close enough for someone to come and escape if need be, he folded his wings on his back as he descended at a rapid speed targeting the city as his destination rapidly.

Making sure to land on the outskirts of the city just so that he would not draw too much attention onto himself. By the time Nue stood back to his feet and dusted himself off, he shifted slowly back into his humanoid form just to begin entering the city with his gaze scanning his surroundings. There humans absolutely everywhere and technology he had never even seen before. It was like a tech dreamland; noticing as there were people that even stared at him from the corner of their eyes due to his difference in attire compared to what they wore as well as the mask that he had over his face, Nue seemed far too lost in slight awe from the city's advancements while he explored the city.
