  • Name: Atasha Vyre Age: 24 Gender: Female
    Occupation: Entertainer/Performer

    Biography:
Born and raised in the big city, Atasha has made her living from the streets that are her home for most of her young life. She began learning the fine art of entertainment and performance early on, with a naturally captivating presence. She worked hard at every new skill she could possibly find to learn, perfecting them all - from dancing to juggling, from acting to storytelling to acrobatics, and even a little singing. Her most proficient skill lies in juggling - most particularly a set of six entirely real knives, while dressed in an almost foreboding costume.

She is incredibly adept at all manner of vocal skills, including different accents, imitation of other's voices, speaking without moving her lips, and throwing her voice. She is also quite skilled with the learning of new languages, and has picked up enough to understand at least three. One particular thing she lacks is an excess in intelligence; her mind works in simple ways, and while she has a quick tongue at times, her wits typically end there.

Her greatest secret lies in her unusual heritage. Only half human, she has the ability to transform into a blue-flamed phoenix at will.

  • Name: Carla Marx Age: 27 Gender: Female
    Occupation: Anarchist

    Biography:
Born and raised in the big city (what a coincidence!) amidst the mire of poverty and foul-smelling ghettos, the halfling Carla Marx quickly realised the truth of the world. She realised that private property was theft, that the monarchy was evil, that rich people were even more evil, and that one must seize the means of production! Raised to be a cartwright, she became a skillful maker of wagons and carts.

However, the evils of labour and transporting goods to be exploited and taxed by the oppressive bourgeoisie weighed heavy on her mind, and she instead embarked on a secondary occupation; ANARCHY! She began riding wagons for the purpose of smuggling criminals and contraband, even serving as a getaway cart-rider for attacks of terror on the poisonous nobility!

Sadly, her first crew of rowdy anarchists were rounded up to a man, excluding her, and executed. Drawn and quartered, in fact! Of course, such agonising dismemberment did not deter Carla, who only resolved herself towards her ultimate mission: to overthrow the Queen.

Carla is capable of performing a specific niche of magic, capable of magically scrambling matter and transforming it into a wagon or cart of unholy speed and handling capability! This is, unknown to her, because she is the living incarnation of the former Deity of Carts, who was cast down from the Heavens for attempting to overthrow the Greater Gods!

  • Stuffs about the world goes here if I feel like it.
  • Random who knows whatever-not TBD

Atasha let her last knife drop neatly into her hand, effortlessly sweeping it out to the side as she leaned into a graceful but perhaps overly dramatic bow before her minuscule audience. The scattered applause dwindled as she straightened, and she didn't hesitate to turn her back on the retreating onlookers. She casually worked on tucking her knives into her belt as she sauntered over to the cracked wooden cup she used to collect the coins of anyone who could be bothered.

She scooped it up off the ground and dumped the contents into her hand, flicking through the coins with an irritated frown. People these days didn't know how to appreciate true talent. She tucked the coins away and casually moved from her spot at the side of the street into the hustle and bustle of a market in full swing. They can be as unappreciative as they like. But it's my turn to be entertained.

Without a second glance, she lithely jumped into a flip that landed her on a random passing cart. Gasps and cries of indignation arose from the peasants in the near vicinity. Rather than pausing on her unorthodox stage, she folded into a backwards handspring and flipped herself casually over the driver's head to land back on the street, directly in the cart's path. She drew her knives with a poised flourish and settled into a mock fighting stance, staring down the driver with a menacing glare from behind her cowl.

She held her stance just long enough for a bit of space to clear around her while people scrambled away from the scene she was causing, then she began in earnest. With a dramatic flourish, she flipped both knives high into the air and launched into a tight, fast spin. She never stopped moving, adding one knife at a time into the rhythm as she effortlessly danced, tossed, and caught without missing a beat. Every few steps, she purposely let one of her blades come dangerously close to someone watching before snatching it back.

Less than a minute of acrobatics later, Atasha snatched her last knife from the air, and dashed away into the crowd, trying not to laugh. The stunned, confused looks on people's faces at her sudden appearance and equally sudden exit.... well, they were worth infinitely more than a few pennies.
