Gods of old and New are very prominent in lives of many people, even now that the world has gone from thriving to a desert waste land. The fall of religion brought the Human world crashing to a halt, wars broke out and every country as decimated to a desert wasteland that had very little nutrients and very limited water. Small towns were rare, Roaming Cannibals, and grifters were the main thing you will find, though those who were older often were blind and could not see do to the breaking of the ozone layer with all the chemical nuclear war fare.

Those who had found a place to hide were safe, but not from going blind. However now it has been years and the new generation can see just not as well as the others did before the fall of humanity. Now with this New Era, there were no longer any gods to worship or praise they had all fallen to the wayside and now everyone prayed to no one just that they would survive another day in the waste land that was now known as earth. With no praying or keeping the Gods in their thoughts, these immortals were dying off and disappearing forever from the world never to return again. Some of the Major gods saw this and willed there powers into Objects such as, Necklaces, bracelets, rings, Staffs, and clothing. They would leave them for worthy enough humans to find them. Yet, only the humans that were meant to have the items can access its powers. When the human would wear the Item or hold the Item they would hold the Gods power. This way even if these Gods faded away into nothingness, there powers would not and the gods would live on.

The Items had the power to turn the users Immortal with time, if they kept using the item for an extended time. After a while they would become the New Gods of the New World there goal was to get the world back into balance and get the people worshipping the gods again and keep them worshipping and bring peace to the earth again. However they are running against time, Those who seek to take the powers from them, and those with dark powers wishing to be the main power in the world and keeping the chaos and Disaster in the world and enslave the humans left.

Our Story begins with the gods relinquishing their power into the Items and letting them fall to the earth below. The items would land in the soft soil and wait for their owners to discover them and discover the powers that lie within the item itself, Each Item will fall into the hands of our Hero's or Villain's, Regular people or outcasts. What will you be? Who will your God be? What is the Symbol of power that has been given to you?

The Reason I did such a short none descript Cs. Is because I want you to develop your character and let them grow, darker to Lighter or Lighter to and even lighter God. Darker to Darker you make them How you want them to turn out. I don't want you to tell me in a cs I want you to tell me through story and your characters voice. How did they wind up in there position? How did the wind up with there group. Who was or is there family? How do they fare in this world?


Group descriptions and Creature Descriptions

Grifters:
Grifters are Dark devious humans who have no sense of life or Humanity left in them, the very often smell gross and are the lowest of the low Humanity wise. Doesn't mean a Light God can not come from them. Grifters is one of the major Groups in this new world that are every where you go many tend to live on abandoned high ways and mug travelers as they come and or go. No sense of loyalty, like rabbid dogs and look out for themselves first always first.

Canniabls:
Like the middle class, they do not stoop as low as the grifters, but they do enjoy the taste of human flesh. The Canniable can be cold deceitful, but smart and agile. A lot clenliear then grifters they do not smell as bad. Also another major group all the way across this new world. However there is only one Canniable King and his word is law amongst his people.

Gypsies:
Small group of people who travel many many different places. A lot more then towns,but less then the two larger groups, they have a Gypsie King, and not much else is known about these mysterious secretive people.

Town:

These are the people who live in towns. A lot cleaned and have a moral code to protect one another. Not to say they are nicer or meaner then the other two, just watch ypur back as you trudge through town.Small towns have popped many a place, but not as big or as many people as the two other groups.

Creatures:

Shadows:Devious creatures that take almost no form come out at night and are virtually unattainable. Only those with a dark gift can train them. They are all black travel silently have fangs and horn like ears as well as red burning eyes. Only one so far to take these is the Grifter Leader. Night dwellers.

Jackal:
Dog like creatures that come around day or night. Tameable if taken as a pup.

Walkers: Humans effected by the nuclear bombs. Gave a you nasty headache then got the munchies really badly. Hearing phenomenal, sight horrible to non existent, and bite deadly not tameable, can be killed by a shot to the head and or chest. Night dwellers

Gorgons: Rock like creatures who were once human and now live as mindless stone creatures that attack out of no where. Drown easily. Night dwellers

Ice Climbers: Mountain dwellers mostly. Come down when It snows over the waste land. Furry Lizards, can be tamed and used as mounts,but very tempermental.

Horses, Mules, Donkeys and Zarbu all mounts and ways of transportation. Cars no longer work in this world. Zarbu are a stripped karabu looking creature been tamed since after the world went dead.

Biggest Town in what is now known as Townsendhall Country

Townsendhall Country is A mix of Southern America, and South America New York being secret head quarter's to the one place that holds all rare items to start a new and rebuild the earth to its natural state this does include a copy of the King James Bible. Brought to them many years ago by a blind man Eli. This Place was called Haven. The main town is set up in Colorado.

Mid to west America and part of Canda is now called Cannabis country. Where the Canniable tended to reside The Canniable King Lived in what use to be Arizona. The Capital Now called Coventry.

East to North America belonged to the Gypsies and Grifters. Griptoria was this country's name. The main Grifter camp was in The mountains of Illinois which was called City on a Mountain, Grifters are not creative. The Gypsys tended reside in more forest areas in What use to be Massachusetts. The Gypsy king lives in the Land Of the Devils Mark in Death Valley.

  Disease Manipulation: Also has power over plagues and epidemics, and he channeled this ability through special arrows that exploded into foul vapors that spread the very disease he wanted inflict his victims with.
  Prophecy: As the God of Prophecy and Foresight, He is able to see into the future. However, he is unable to tell anyone future events, except through his Oracles, as then the information would become meaningless. He does not have full control over this power either. He does not always know what the prophecies mean, nor can he always control when they are told.
  Madness (limited): He can drive people insane with the urge to hunt every beast on earth.
  Truth: He is also the God of Truth and was known to never tell a lie.
  Couplets Curse: He can curse others to only speak in rhyming couplets that can take days or even weeks to wear off

  Death Curses: She is also able to place curses on the living. While she is unable to kill people before the Fates decree its time, he can prevent a person's soul from ever leaving their body. This will mean that a person's body will eventually turn to dust with age and their soul will be lost forever.
  Death Sense: As the God of the Dead, she can sense when a person is dying and when their soul is being judged in the Underworld. She can also sense people's life auras.
  Osteokinesis: As the God of the Dead, she can summon and telekinetically control numerous bones at once.
  Cryokinesis (limited): God of the Dead she can generate an aura of intense cold, which causes frost to creep across the rocks and grass.
  Infernal Monster Lordship: She has absolute control over countless ferocious monsters native to her realm, such as Cerberus, the Hellhounds, the Furies, the Keres, the Oneiroi, and various daimons, along with many others.
  Umbrakinesis: As the God of the Underworld, she has absolute control over shadows and darkness.
  Darkness Generation: She can shoot solid bolts of darkness, and surround enemies into pitch black clouds of lightless space.
  Darkness Shields: She can solidify shadows into virtually impenetrable shields, which are strong enough to deflect even Zeus' thunderbolts.
  Darkness Absorption and Dissipation: She can absorb and dissipate shadows with his Stygian Iron weapons.
  Imperceptibility: She can use shadows to cover herself in darkness to become invisible. While wearing her Ring of Darkness, Roean can pass through walls and melt into shadows, not be touched, seen or heard by anyone, even other Olympian gods, Titans, or Giants.

  Dark Infernal Pyrokinesis: She has absolute control over black hellfire, which is considerably more destructive than normal flames, as it turns whatever it touches into liquid. She can conjure it and propel it from her hands.

  Induced Terror: With his Ring of Darkness, She can radiate death and terror to an incredible degree.

Plant Manipulation: He can grow plants at a very rapid pace, and also control them. This includes all kinds of flora - though he has a particular liking to flowers and tends to sprout them when he has nothing better to do.

Vine Manipulation: He can summon vines at will so long as there is access to any plant life. He can also harden them at will, creating a barrier around himself.

Photokinesis: He can create a flash of bright green light around him to act as a flashbang.

Green Aura: When he stays at an area for a prolonged period of time, the land becomes fertile and it will be like it was spring in that general area. This is usually countered for when it is winter as he is not capable of melting away the snow. When feeling a surge of negative emotions like anger, the plants around his general area begins to wilt away until they die showing that he can also kill plant life.

Control over Hell's inhabitants: As Queen of the Underworld, Persephone has been given control over the monsters that reside within - like Cerberus, the Hellhounds, Furies and many others. This is passed down to the owner of her necklace.

Curses: Invoking the wrath of the co-ruler of the Underworld is never a good idea. While it is not as powerful as Hades's, his curses still bring forth enormous pain to those that have earned it.

Fear Inducement: As a ruler of the underworld, he has the ability to induce fear on those around her as long as they are caught unaware.

Spirits of the Dead: He is able to commune with spirits - but they are by no means free if they are summoned by him. They are bound to him until they are ordered to return to the underworld.

Forced Transformation: Through releasing a great amount of power, he is able to transform something into a plant.

Power limits:

Plant Manipulation: When the land is absolutely barren and cannot support plant life, he is not able to grow any plants there.

Photokinesis: It does nothing to harm the ones around him.

Control over Hell's inhabitants: His control is weaker than Hades's, hence they will follow his word over hers. Should they not acknowledge each other yet, his control is limited to those of weaker daimons along with Cerberus and the Hellhounds.

Curses: It is not as horrendous as Hades's and does not last for very long. However, once bound with Hades, he will be able to access a deadlier curse.

Fear Inducement: There must be a small inkling of fear already present in the target before this can be used.

Spirits of the Dead: They are merely there to speak and advice as they cannot touch anything in the physical realm.

Forced Transformation: It takes a great deal of stamina and power, leaving him vulnerable and close to passing out when used.
