Well she was telepathy so she's able to predict what Isabella is going to do to try to kill her with and can use her force field to block up to, may i add, A SUB ATOMIC BOMB!
Wait, what caliber of bomb are we talking about when you say sub atomic? The dramatic emphasis you put into the words makes me think you're talking about an atomic bomb.

Oh, sorry but what i meant was only a nuke could destroy it at full power.

Not trying to nitpick but Isabella not only closed the door but the suitcase she left in the room only has clothes in it. She took the only two weapons out. :/

Sorry @FrenziedAce I actually dont have enough time to take on another rp. Good luck to you all though!

Oh, sorry but what i meant was only a nuke could destroy it at full power.
Don't you think that, considering all your other powers, that needing a NUCLEAR WEAPON to break through your shield is a little extreme? If your character doesn't use their other abilities they're practically invulnerable, and even if they did use another ability needing HALF of a nuclear weapon would still be a damned lot of force. At what time do you envision that anyone with strength or power comparable to a nuclear weapon will appear in this RP and justify your character having that much power?

I SHALL EDIT! -tralalas to the IC- Sorry, ill just say she opened, also did she take the suitcase.

Sorry, i guess ill change it too say, a 2x a regular bomb

Character name - Lucius Cheshire
Alias - Loon
Faction - Syndicate
Gender - Male, usually.
Age - 26
Birthplace - Aldford, England
Occupation - Full time hero
Appearance - They hold two appearances dear, for reasons unspecified, and are likely to be caught in one or the other. Both are thin, 5 feet and 10 inches in height, nigh-sickeningly pale, and have bright green eyes that invoke thoughts of emeralds. Both also have black hair that stands in contrast to the papery shade of skin. To be fair, the only real differences between the two forms are sex and hair. One, female with longer hair that remains straight and reaches the middle of the back in curtains. The other, male who's hair is tied back into a ponytail that goes no farther than the shoulders.
Height - 5 feet and 10 inches.
Weight - Around 130 pounds.
Apparel - A grey and black, striped scarf that wraps around the neck and lower face. Along with it, a hood attached to a long, button-up coat of black colouring and simple, equally dark jeans. Their footwear consists of grey and black toe shoes that appear to be ready for a variety of weather conditions. They lack any sort of "super hero" costume.
Weaponry - Lucius owns a rapier, but it is hardly ever employed, and taken out even less. They also owns a .375 revolver, which is carried with much more regularity.
Equipment - A simple, cheap, automobile, a Swiss army knife, a smart phone of the Android variety, an extremely compact laptop, and a small book containing the results of several years of scavenging for magical knowledge.
Powers - Lacking a true body, the two appearances utilized are gifts. This being the case, Lucius is not very concerned about bodily damage or pain. Optimal assaults tear them apart, rather than targeting vital organs.
Their appearance betrays the strength held within their body. While not anywhere near the tier of strength that some supers exhibit, Lucius is certainly above your average human. They are fully capable of moving vehicles with a strong shove, among other feats of equal measure.
Save total dismemberment or incineration, among a few other things, Lucius is capable of recovering from any wound if provided with sufficient time and rest.
Their body is irrationally resistant to damage. Ran through with a spear? Shoved backwards, with more bruises than blood. Shot in the chest? The bullet pierces skin, but probably won't make it much farther than skin.
Perhaps just lucky, or perhaps made this way, their memory is perfect.
The truly superhuman quality of Lucius is their supreme dexterity and speed on foot. They've been known to catch up to and jump on top of speeding vehicles.
They show no physical signs of aging, but are fully capable of being smashed into next week and made very dead.

Limitations - Their speed caps out at something like 100 miles per hour. Roughly. Their strength caps out at about 900 kilograms. Lifting, that is.
Skills - Moderately skilled swordplay, highly skilled gunplay, extensive historical and scientific knowledge, competence in several types of hand-to-hand combat, and an array of seemingly random talents. Dancing, poker, etc.
Weaknesses - Anything with above average sex appeal, confinement, their own curiosity, gambling, and challenges. Physical weaknesses include frequent and very much painful headaches, and a need to consume sickening amounts of food to support their speed and strength.

Morality - Chaotic good. I think.
Personality - A free spirit dedicated to indulging in their vices whenever possible, the only reason Lucian is hero material is because they want to rid the world of those they deem evil, and don't tend to be wrong about who is and isn't evil. That said, being the judge, jury, and executioner isn't exactly ideal for the persecuted.

Bio - Lucian was produced, not born. Their creator, or even creators, have yet to give any indication of their existence. The middle-aged creature simply found themselves standing in a laboratory of sorts on a stormy English day. Their were no clues, not a trace of any notes or books or computers. There was such little evidence, it's entirely possible that Lucian was not even made in that laboratory. Perhaps they simply contracted amnesia. The only solid evidence that there are no parents is hidden away within Lucian's body. Their brain, heart, lungs, every single cell is tailored to function at an optimal level. They are not perfect, by any means, but whoever produced them was clearly striving for something akin to perfection. Something that functions at such an efficient level simply while lacking any mutations must be of unnatural birth. There is another shard of evidence, however. Their two bodies and uncanny ability to take damage with less suffering than the average human defies scientific investigation. It is something of magical origin, an obscure and vague thing that many are not aware of at all.

They did not have any manner of adopted parents, or require any. Upon awakening, assuming they had been unconscious prior to that time, Lucian was fully aware of how the world functioned. The mind was filled with information of varying usefulness. That is not to say that they arose and simply got on their merry way. That knowledge came with the realization that what occurred here was neither normal, nor acceptable. They have always been a vagrant, and have been beating the living hell out of anyone who appears evil for nearly as long. Transportation to New York was arranged thanks to a small net of friends that had carefully been stitched together over a small number of years. And there's only one real reason for a budding vigilante to go running to New York, no?

Interesting character, but I just have a concern with one of the powers, the durability and regeneration.

How long would different injuries take to fully heal? Things like a shotgun blast straight to the face, loss of a limb, decapitation?

Name: Simon Volkos

Alias: Pyre

Faction: Syndicate

Gender: Male

Age: 28

Birthplace: USA; Miami, Fl

Occupation: Bookstore Owner/Hero

Appearance:
Pyre

Simon

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 185 lbs.

Apparel: Mostly suits of various shades and styles, Simon prefers looking professional and mature. He wears more casual attire at home, usually the same stuff he goes to the gym in.

Weaponry: A hand gun, usually kept beneath the counter at his bookstore.

Equipment:
· Chrysler 300
· Arcane Armor (which provides more protection than normal metal, but isn't invincible)
· A Spell Tome
· Various Magical Components

Powers:
  • Fire Magic: Simon is a student of the occult, and while he knows a handful of other spells he is particularly adept in magic relating to fire. His primary uses are manipulating and creating flames, and conjuring a fire elemental (the strength of which is dependent on his preparation time).
  • Minor Spells: One lesser healing spell, one lesser barrier spell, and one lesser location spell (which can only be used in a certain radius of the caster).
  • The Capacity to Learn: Unlike a super, Simon can learn new spells over time if he dedicates himself to them.

Limitations: With the exception of his Fire Magic, all of his minor spells require some sort of ritual or preparation which can hinder his ability to use them if he is not already prepared to. His magic also mental strength, if he is exhausted or his mind is being interfered with it becomes exponentially more difficult to use his magic.

Skills:
· Steady Hands
· Latin Reader
· Excellent Memory
· Good Reflexes

Weaknesses:
· Reclusive/Aloof
· Not A Team Player
· Over Confident
· Very Curious

Morality: Neutral Good

Personality:
Simon is Reclusive and Aloof, due to his studies of the occult and his decidedly cynical view of the world's status. This also means that despite his intentions to join the Syndicate, he Isn't a Team Player, he will work with others but he won't be an effective partner unless he trusts someone quite a lot. That is most likely because he is Over Confident, something that stems from his powerful magical abilities and arcane knowledge, abilities he gained from his avid Curiosity. While some may consider that curiosity to be a strength, Simon can't leave things alone even if they're dangerous which has led him into a few magical accidents which have left their own scars on his body and soul.

Bio:
Simon was the first child of a happily married couple in Florida. His father was a police officer and his mother was a full-time nurse, so he spent quite a bit of time at both of their workplaces when neither of them could stay home with him. Both of these careers instilled him with a strong moral compass, his mother helped people who were sick and injured and his father upheld the law and pursued criminals. Simon was also an inquisitive child, with an eagerness to learn and a passion for asking questions, he would often follow people around the hospital and police station to see how things were done. In school, he loved to read history books and learn about past civilizations and cultures, he was enraptured by the ancient myths and legends which they held as spiritual beliefs.

When he was in high school he became deeply interested in the occult, his parents just thought it was a phase that he would grow out of so they left him alone. During this time he began spending summers at his grandfather's house in New York. Surprisingly, his grandfather took his interest in the occult very seriously, because he was a practitioner of magic. His grandfather, Evan, had studied the arcane for many years but had not passed his knowledge on to his son because they hadn't been close when he was young and he thought he had missed the opportunity. So, he was surprised and pleased that Simon expressed an interest, where Simon was excited because he had doubted he would find anything of the sort, especially among his own family.

Simon began visiting his grandfather whenever possible, and even was given his own tome to study. This wasn't just playing at magic, the spells he learned to cast in secret had actual effects. He began to study the workings of fire, and learned how to bind and manipulate it, it was around this time that many super powered beings were gaining their own abilities and he began to believe they too were learning the secrets of magic until his grandfather told him otherwise. After that he began to think about using his magic to fight crime, without anyone knowing he wasn't simply another super. With hood and cloak, he donned the alias of Pyre, but he rarely actually involved himself in stopping crime when he was in high school since he was inexperienced at the time.

While he was in college his grandfather passed away, leaving him both his house and his bookstore in his will. Simon dropped out of college to move into his grandfather's New York house several years ago, and he makes money from running the bookstore. Now that the Guardian Syndicate has been founded, however, he has decided it might be time to don the guise of Pyre once again and use his skills in magic to combat those who would use their gifts to hurt others.

And perhaps the speed cap is a little high. A man running two hundred miles an hour? And having regeneration and superb endurance? He would only have to run into you at that point to flatten you as if he were a cannon ball.

I'm sorry

IC post is up. Nothing really major, the first action of the RP though.

Also, Pyre is accepted.

Also, Azathoth is the co - GM, I offered and he accepted the position. Treat him like a second me on the OOC.
