Normal X Micro (AxA)
Ok, this is gonna take some explaining.
If you aren't familiar, macro/micro refers to something/someone being either bigger or smaller than they are in perspective to another subject. This can be seen with many different things, like planets made into rings or toys for big characters, or tiny characters being unknowingly flattened by "normal sized" ones.
This story takes that, and applies it to the world with two general size groups: micros, and macros.
The two... USED to be clueless about the other. But eventually, with macros industrializing quick, micros were forced to try and make themselves noticed or sneak around and get all their needs sorted that way.
But, after long enough, the two sides decided to help each other out with their needs. Macros, being the most agile and able to move around, would perform tasks such as supplying resources, doing major construction, and transporting goods. The micros, being more nimble, would perform tasks that require delicate hands or attention to detail, such as inspections, clothing repair, and scientific work. Both would still have all their industries for all this, but it's much more common to see macros dropping off small I-beams to micro construction sites than it is micros with machinery doing so, and same for micros doing clothing repair, inspections, and dental work than macros, despite both being able to do it. The general idea is that one side helps out, allowing the other to finish their tasks more easily.
The main two will be a longtime friend duo/couple who care for each other, and have some adventures and play some antics while they're at it.
Simple enough. If you guys want more, I can adapt. :3
There IS also room for a darker version where the macro species/race never became civilized. This would be moreso a horror idea in that case, and more focused on two micros living in this chaotic, apocalyptic setting. Ofc, there will be macros, but the focus is on the micros.

Person A (me, Christopher) is a nearly-18 student who's struggling in many ways. From work, to emotions, to socializing, to motivation.
A struggles with four mental divergencies: Depression, ADHD, Autism, and Bipolar
B is a longtime friend who's close to A, who has bully problems.
the idea
Chara. that's what he went by online. But he talked to you after a year or so and gave his real name. Christopher.
He was... really energetic. He would stay up late for himself just to be able to spend more time with you. whenever you had any problems, he'd listen to every single word you had to say to him. He was also really proud of being a class star when you two had met. You two even planned to meet in person one day, years after you two met.
You two do meet eventually, over at the train station. he's a little late, probably due to his bad memory habits, but he immediately hugs you tight before letting go, bubbly as a puppy.
But of course... someone has to ruin it.
Just as he starts rambling on ideas on what to do, you get shoved onto the tracks, looking in the mag-train's direction. A deer in headlights.
But you feel yourself get shoved again. you land on the other rails before looking up and seeing his hair. then you see the train itself.
You felt... paralyzed. With fear. and guilt.
You barely heard the sirens when the emergency medical vans came along.
Same for the news reporters and their questions.
and all the accusations...
you almost broke from the sheer pressure.
but he was barely alive.
god...
he was alive.
The only reason he was, they said... was because he got transferred into a new body.
they didn't know if it was him, though, due to the procedure being experimental.
But even if it was still him... he was way different.
He hardly wanted to meet up anymore, and he was talking to you way more about his mental problems than he did before, even compared to his past episodes.
He also was not doing anything in class anymore, just sitting in the corner as far away from anyone else as possible, always packing up as soon as he finishes work to head to the counseling office to stay in the calm corner there.
He carried his phone and earbuds everywhere he went as well, not taking them out unless he was at home, and even with his music, which used to calm him, he's almost always jittery and never looks people in the eye.
And, on top of all that, even just SEEING anyone who he recognized or thought was a bully or someone who wanted to ask questions always sends him running like he'd seen a monster of unspeakable horror.
You knew he had mental problems and anxiety, but it was never this bad so consistently.
One day, he goes up to you and apologizes for everything that happened, as if he had planned it out, but you knew him too well to think it was that.
He openly allows you to ditch him now, since he's been ghosting and such, even allowing you to hate him.
now, the choice...
Either leave him to be, or find out what's wrong with him.

The idea is simple. Character A is an energetic, helpful baker who uses their magic to help out their store and such, nothing too out of place.
B is the town's witch who's all the way out on the most remote edge of town, very known by rumor to be scary and unfriendly to all, having been blamed for unexplained events.
How will the two interact from day to day, and will they get closer or not at all?

His name was Alias, which was absolutely funny to you. "Who would name their child that?" But regardless of his name, you thought he was a sweetheart. He was an introvert and fairly anti-social; he didn't like attention, and sat in the back of classrooms, reading shonen jump and daydreaming about what it would be like to be one of those boys. He was great at school, but when it came to making friends and finding a partner, he sucked at it. His parents were divorced; living with his father, who resorted to alcohol to ease his pain. And for Alias? That forced him to be hyper-independent. He cooked for himself, cleaned the house, and fed stray cats he claimed ownership over. He worked a small part-time as a cashier, and made sure his neglectful father was fed and wore clean clothes. Alias didn't hate his life, but his frown and lost eyes proved otherwise. But then you came along. You sat with him one day at lunch and asked about a manga he was interested in. He was hesitant, but he told you all about it. You asked to share lunch with him because you forgot yours, and his looked so good. He instead gave you his entire bento, despite making his favorite dish for himself. . .
And you entered the 7/11 he worked at for snacks, just to find they were sold out. . . but he saved one just for you. Alias paid great attention to you; your favorite food and color, or flavor milk and the scent of the perfume you wore. You were beginning to be his happiness and reason for being better than who he was the day before. Without you knowing it, he wanted to be a better person for you. Alias would seem to smile a bit more, linger after school, and offer to walk you home. You asked him to sit with you and your friends and they welcomed him in. You made him feel so real . . .
Until one day, one of your enemies decided to leap into action. You were walking alone after school, watching an incoming train from a safe distance, when you were suddenly pushed in the middle of the tracks. You were frozen in fear, your bag skidding across the ground as you resembled a deer caught in headlights. You thought you were going to die! But a pair of strong hands pushed you out of the way just seconds before the collision, and you tumbled off the track and down the small hill. As you turned to see what happened or who it was. . . you just saw his hair before the train hit him, and you have been scared since that day. . .
the police sirens. . . the news . . .
the interviews . . . the tears. . .
the blood. . . the fingers being pointed at you. . .
The GUILT.
But. . . Alias lived. In a coma, but alive.
dear god. . .
he was alive. . .
About 2 years later, he'd finally open his eyes.
But something was . . . wrong. Not with just him, but with. . . everything.
The world itself seemed to shift entirely, and you didn't understand it. . .
What happened to the world since that time . . .
And why does it feel like YOU are still the target . . ?
summary: a lonely boy makes his first friend with a fairly popular girl. she brings light into his life, until one day, one of the girl's bullies shoves her in front of an ongoing train. alias manages to save her, but gets hit instead. he survives and wakes up 2 years later with the world entirely altered.
setting: i was thinking of this being a highschool setting! i want to include some kind of powers or something; maybe alias wakes up with powers and there's anomalies in this world coming after the girl. he's going to protect her. ideally, the roleplay picks up when they're 18-ish and seniors.

How will this change the junior's outlook on the future, a future where they initially thought was bleak without light for them to reach after school?

You ever hear of the show House? Well I wanted to apply this logic to The Saint from Rain World! In this AU, Slugcats and all species of rain world are anthro and in peace, and people go to the best hospitals if they can, in one which where the Saint is.
Unassuming at first, Saint is a burtal, straight-to-the-point doctor who has a sharp eye for every piece of medical knowledge, though doing treatments in strange ways. Who will he serve next?

After getting out into the world, a sentient computer virus with the powers of making portals, coding up commands on their own, and reassembling scrapped code finds a criminal or government agent's computer and decides to team up with the criminal/gov they find themselves with, making the duo much more threatening and able to do so much more with one another. How far can they spread their reach across their targets?

Artificer/Any (FxA)
After the death of her two pups, Artificer would have lost it, attacking or hissing at members of the species which were related to the killings, be it humans for their lack of care and hunting of slugcats, Scavengers for having killed the pups in the first place, or others who had minor roles, it's taken a toll on Arti. but maybe, someone will come along to change her thorn-covered mind.
After the death of her two pups, Artificer would have lost it, attacking or hissing at members of the species which were related to the killings, be it humans for their lack of care and hunting of slugcats, Scavengers for having killed the pups in the first place, or others who had minor roles, it's taken a toll on Arti. but maybe, someone will come along to change her thorn-covered mind.

One city has Ceroba as a police officer who patrols and deals with heavy crimes like major theft or murderers. After getting picked for a gov mission, Person A would meet Ceroba and the two would have to find ways to work together, potentially getting close to one another as a result. Who knows what the two could do together?

They belong to a subset of humans capable of detecting and utilizing an aura that typically only belongs to mythological creatures. For years, they have been responsible for dealing with paranormal threats that have been running rampant around their hometown. Sometimes that means fighting, at other times that means negotiating, but what it always means is an exciting adventure waiting in store for the two.

Neither of them knows how A got there or how to get A back to the right time.

They are hesitant when A approaches but they have little choice but to accept A if they want to be human again. A takes B home and cares for them. Bound once again to an owner, B turns human. Will he be a good leader for his people? And what is it about the sight of the moon that seems to invoke such... yearning?

When A goes down the alley they sees another fighter abusing someone A challenges the other to a fight. Whoever won would get B. The other fighter agreed and they head to the club. A wins and takes the abused person home with him. Now free of their abuser B wants to help A get out of the fight club.

Person A is a sentient desktop assistant who's been in person B's computer for a long time, unattended to and left to do all their digital work. As a celebration on the day Person A was made and given their complete free reign on their computer, Person B ends up making "A" a physical, tech-powered body which B can inhabit, which the two can work together for one another in both realms afterward.

Empath/anchor - AxA
A is an Empath, meaning they can feel the emotions of the people around them. They've had this ability from a young age and because of it, they sometimes have a hard time separating their own emotions from everyone else and knowing what they themselves are feeling. Large groups and crowds only make it worse. B is A's Anchor. An Anchor is kind of like a buffer for the Empath between them and other people's emotions. The Empath focuses on their Anchor's emotions and it keeps them from getting overwhelmed and overloaded with other people's emotions and also allows them to keep their sanity intact.
