The Basics!
This will RP will primarily take place in Yatsushiro town, a fictional small town located within driving distance of Tokyo, Japan. It is home to one of the Hanadate Academy high school branches as well as the budding Grimmond and Polyaphimous Households. These are devil clans which have been growing quietly for some time now. If lucky, students of the high school branch of Hanadate Academy may one day enter the college branch, located in Tokyo. However, that is all for now on this subject.
Under the lead of their 'King', the Polyaphimous house will have much to overcome. It is their duty to protect Hanadate academy and Yatsushiro town as a whole, a duty made no easier by the antics of the Grimmond house. Just because their duty is to protect, however, does not mean the King of the Polyaphimous house has no ambition. She dreams of bringing her household ever higher in the devil hierarchy, one day maybe even reaching the level of the seven great clans.

Location!
Yatsushiro Town will be a primary area of interest as it will be the hometown of our characters for the most. I mean this in the sense that we will all live here and attend school here. It may be attacked, but we will defend it. And yet it is not our key location.
You see our key location will be that of Hanadate Academy's high school branch. Here will be our primary battle ground and the core area under our household's control. It is our territory. It is where we hold our meetings and conduct most of our business. It may also be our primary battlefield when participating in rating games.

Household!
We will be taking the roles of the Polyaphimous Household. As you may have guessed, this peerage is comprised of the King, who has been gathering various evil pieces for some time now, and her subordinates. Together they must grow closer, grow stronger and traverse their new and old lives as the beings they now are. As such the core members of the family as revived through the evil piece system take the roles of chess pieces. Rook, Knight, Pawn, etc. Each holds its own purpose and abilities.
The Polyaphimous household is part of a relatively new clan, starting with the King's father. Operating under the watch of lord Belphegor, they must prove themselves worthy of their independence. As such the King, Akutsuki Polyaphimous, is kept under close watch. Any mistake too large could cost them their titles.

Asmodeus and Belphegor!
Asmodeus and Belphegor, though usually seemingly forgotten by the other current Satans, generally have their own business to attend to. They keep watch and handle things in their own territories. They deal with their own factions of fallen angels and heavenly forces. Still they maintain great power as Super Devils, even if they generally keep to themselves and their own interests.

Barriers - Your run of the mill, ordinary barriers. Nothing special about them.
Reflect Barrier - A barrier that, instead of stopping whatever hits them, rebounds them like light off a mirror. This both reduces the stress on the barrier (assuming it was pointed somewhere other than directly back toward the attack), and can also be used to return attacks back to the caster.
Refraction Barrier - A simple barrier that splits any non solid into several weaker versions of itself. It only slightly redirected the refracted energy, but does so in a predictable way.
Refocusing Barrier - a very complicated barrier that captures any energy passing through it, rebounds it back into itself like the focusing lens of a laser, and eventually releases is more powerful than what it captured. The energy is still moving in the same direction, however.
Weaknesses:
1. Akutsuki spends most of her time having fun, so often has to be refocused on her work.
2. Akutsuki has very few direct attacks (Read: None at all). She always on the defensive.

Allowing them to shift from their demon form as an Orthrus to their humanoid form with demonic features and to a normal humanoid form without anything that would allow someone to recognize them as a demon. They can shape shift to separate hell hound like beasts but the distance between them cannot be to large due to the inability for a their respective halves of the soul to be separated.
Soul splitting
This is what allows Jethil to be split into the two halves of Jevik and Jezef but also allows them to join once more to form Jethil and their hound form.
Strengths:
- Lots of experience in both their real form and separated forms.
- Same being and so silent communication is possible between the two in separated forms.
- Retain their main forms instincts and heightened senses when appearing human.
Weaknesses:
- When split that cannot be to far apart from one another or their soul may permanently split and the weaker one will die off.
- Jezef is easy to anger and so often acts on rage. She is the emotional side. Javik is the more logical side and so is colder and less caring to others.
- Orthrus being a demonic creature they are weak to holy items and such.

History:
Born and raised within hell as Jethil, the two counterparts did not exist fully as an individuals until later. Jethil had no gender due to the two heads being separate but connected minds that were fully in sync. For years, Jethil was a force to be hold as it would hunt and kill its prey within monstrous claws and sharp jaws. It ran wild and few ever challenged Jethil, not out of fear of its abilities as there were many far stronger but because it was easy to leave the Orthrus to its own devices as it hunted only those that came to its territory. Even those who were only there to try and speak with it, they were eaten without remorse and left as a new set of bones. When its two heads slowly began to form their own personalities, as all Orthrus do at some point, It was evident that they were complete opposites as the right took on the logical and more controlled side of the soul while the left revealed its emotions. The two were fine being one as Jethil for many years until they were soon attacked by a demon far from their league. It was not an easy battle but they were defeated and left in a state that recovery would be slow if not impossible. Jethil was saved by Akutsuki Polyaphimous and for the first time, Jethil was separated into Jezef and Javik. Thankful for being saved, they are loyal to their 'King.' Since then, Jezef has been causing trouble by pranking and causing problems to people due to the fun of it all while Javik has been studying resources in the humans realm.

Skills: Shinichi is skilled in the following areas:
- Martial arts - Skilled in Karate, Jujutsu, Chinese Kenpo, Boxing, and Muay Thai, Shinichi is a force to be reckoned with as far as simple close quarters combat is concerned. However, it should be noted that due to his ever changing interests and habit or getting distracted with new things he has only ever really gone as far as the basic level in each discipline. He is simply adept and has much room to grow.
- Sports - Shinichi was always one for extracurriculars, though never formally joined a club. He moved around practicing and trying different things while making friends. However, despite his great athletic skill he never really went too far in any one sport. Still his skill is considerably good for a high schooler.
- Video Games - Shinichi is considered an avid gamer, though it doesn't consume his life. Still, give him some time and he can nearly master a game. So long as he enjoys it anyway.
- Housework - Shinichi spends much of his time alone. Thus, he had to learn to cook, clean, do laundry. He is capable of completing most household chores, simply because he has too. Even so, he takes it seriously and may scold someone for not properly tending to the work.
- Others - While Shinichi is capable of doing other things that most humans can do, it would simply take far too much time to list it all.
Sacred Gear: Shinichi's Sacred gear is known as the Obsidian Armor. It takes the form of a chest plate covering his torso to his waist, while leaving his shoulders, arms, legs and head unprotected. Being said to house a dragon, though with no proof, this sacred gear grants the following abilities:
- Camouflage - The armor's primary skill, this ability conceals the user. Blending in with their surroundings, almost as though they were invisible. It masks power, scent, among other things to near perfection.
- Enhance - This abilitiy increases the user's overall abilities (physical abilities, senses, demonic power, etc.) by a factor of 2 for the duration of one hour, starting the moment it is activated. This ability, of course, greatly depends on the base abilities of the user.
- Copy Cat - This ability truly makes the Sacred Gear special. It allows the user to copy any ability they have seen and understands. However, the user is limited to copying three abilities at one time. For example, if they have already copied fire, ice, and lightning abilities from three different individuals and wish to copy another ability they come across, they must forgot one of the three they already know. Furthermore, said copied abilities would only be about half as effective. For example, if a copied ability allows the user to multiply their power by 2 every ten seconds, he would only be able to multiple his power by two every 30 seconds. Thus, while the real holder of the ability could possibly boost about 6 times, he could only boost twice.
Magic: Shinichi does not truly know any magic of his own. However, he has expressed interest in learning some.
Strengths:
- Great Athletic abilities and Combat Sense - Meaning he's got a ton of potential.
- Fast learner as far as physical abilities are involved - Meaning he isn't that good in academics, but he is great at picking up fighting and sports and the like.
- Easy to get along with - He makes friends easily, and is just one of those guys you can get along with.
- Recklessness - Where is temper is involve regarding his family and friend, Shinichi can get pretty reckless and do stupid things.
- Mind - Shin isn't an idiot, but he is far from being a scholar. Truly his benefits lie in the athletic and physical world. He can be tricked, and is somewhat gullible.
- Kindness - While it is good that he's a good guy, he is kind of naive and trusting to a fault. It isn't good.
- Lack of Mastery - While he has many skills, he has never truly mastered anything. Which would be disadvantageous against specialists of certain arts.
Personality: Shinichi is a good guy. He's kind, even if to a fault, and loyal. He is strong willed, if not a bit reckless. He isn't much of a loud mouth, unless the situation calls for a loud voice. and generally tries to talk in a calm or more reserved manner. Furthermore, he He isn't the brightest bulb in the pack, but he isn't an idiot like many think. He's a hardworker and is constantly doing his best to keep passing grades. Though he is just barely keeping a c average with a b or two thrown in there.
History: Shinichi has lived alone in an apartment for the better part of two years. The reason isn't something tragic like his parents died or anything like that. They're simply away on business often and even like to travel. It's rare that they're home. However, they keep him well financed to a point. He gets a monthly allowance. He doesn't live at his real home. As they preferred he go to a good school as opposed to the school in his hometown. It's tough. Especially when one looks at his grade point average but for the most part he had been making it. He wasn't especially popular, but he was well liked. He didn't really join any clubs, but he hopped around for the fun of it before he would go home. It was a simple life. That is until one night when he was going home.
On this particular day, he'd been invited to Karaoke and decided to go. Leaving the shop and going his separate way from the group he received a flyer. It was pretty interesting so he kept it in his pocket. It seemed like he'd be getting home without much trouble. But of course, he was fairly wrong on that point. He was confronted by a strange man. He was spouting some nonsense about Shinichi being borned with bad luck and some burden that was causing his death. It wasn't until much later that he'd learned about what it was.
This man was a fallen angel. Tasked with killing Shinichi. Well... he may have just been blowing off some steam. Shinichi couldn't tell. But he ended up with some strange, bright spear piecing his chest. He was sure he would be dead. He didn't want to die. Thoughts like those crossed his mind. There was a lot he hadn't done. He cursed himself in not doing more. He was angry. He wanted to live goddammit! Just as that though crossed his mind, he was saved. He might have recognized his savior if not for his blurred vision. They were in the same grade. Not the same class, but the same grade all the same. This girl would become his new master and he would become a devil. He's come a long way learning about his role, his gear, and much more. But he still has a ways to go. And well... The rest is history.
