Name:
Rikerr Burg
Appearance:
Age:
21
Origin:
Born Fourth of five sons of house Burg, he had little claim to land or wealth, not that that there was much to be claimed. House Burg is a rather poor and unimportant house of the north with only a small plot of land under its name and few people to carry its banners. The land it does have is mostly worthless as farmland and doesn't have the most favourable position for trading to say the least. In fact it is so pathetic that even the other lords eager for more land leave it alone for it is more trouble than it's worth.
Still though, things are expected of them such as the supply of banner men and gold to their warden of the north. As such they have come up with a desperate, but wise decision by recruiting whatever men they can from their small territory and train them to the fullest, yet they don't do this to protect their land, but to send these trained men out into westeros to serve as mercenary companies. The gold these mercenaries make is then sent back to Burg which creates their largest portion of income.
As one of the later sons of lord Burg, Rikerr is also expected to be a mercenary fighting to bring gold and honour to his house, as such he has been trained to be more of a warrior rather than a nobleman. He is skilled with the spear and the bow and is a decent enough rider. His travels take him all over Westeros selling his blade to whomever is willing to pay.
Status:
Nobleman, but mostly poor
Allegiance:
His own house comes above all, but it's mostly to those that pay him until his contract is complete
Starting Location:
Somewhere along the Kingsroad
Extras:
He has little love for plots, tricks and tiresome politics and holds a great value on honour and loyalty.
His house's banner is a golden coin in a bloodstained hand. Their words are "Blood for gold"
