A Desire For Love

Urion smiled as Marina blushed. He had always had that effect on her. It wasn't intentional that he did it, but he had a deep love of playing for her. He looked back down at his harp and closed his eyes. The music was truly something to hear. But, just as fast as it had begun, it ended. The last beautiful notes floating into the wind.

The villagers clapped and Urion laid his harp on his lap and bowed his head. He looked back over at Marina and smiled once more, before speaking. "That was for you, Marina."

Once the song finished, Marina had clapped along with the villagers, smiling widely. "That was beautiful, Urion!" Marina said, still grinning ear-to-ear. But when he had said the song was for her, her face turned rosy and she just couldn't help but lean in for a hug to Urion. Marina just always got so happy whenever Urion played his music; and knowing that was for her made her even happier. "Heheh, thank you. Thank you so much!" she said, nuzzling him a bit.

When Marina hugged him, his immediate response, was a hug back. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close. It was such a heart warmer to hear her show so much appreciation for his music. Urion had always loved being with Marina this way and the two of them were as close as can be. Afterwards, there was a thank you from her and a nuzzle. That in return, made him smile even more. "He leaned back and looked at her. "You are very welcome, Marina. I will gladly play for you at any chance that arises."

He said, in a soft voice.

Marina looked up at Urion and smiled, her cheeks still reddened. "Oh? Oh thank you!" she said again, still hugging him. She could stay in the hug forever if she wanted to...

W-Wait...what?

Marina's cheeks turned even redder, but she kept in the hug for as long as Urion would let her. She didn't know how that thought came into mind. Granted, it was a good feeling, but not necessarily expected.

Urion chuckled a little when her cheeks turned red. Although, they had hugged many times, she still seemed unused to being close to him. "There is no need to be embarrassed, Marina." He said, placing his right hand on the back of her head. Urion stroked her head gently and then kissed her left cheek gently. He closed his eyes and kept his lips on her cheek.

Marina looked up at Urion, not expecting the kiss. She just stared at him softly as he rested his lips on her cheek. Marina began to smile softly and nuzzled his cheek, brushing his with her lips. "All right~..." she whispered softly.

Although he kissed her cheek, he was not expecting her to do it as well. She whispered the word "alright" gently in his ear as her lips trailed from his cheek to it. He smiled and grabbed her right hand with his left one and stood up. Now that work and his song was over, he could take Marina for a walk in the woods. They could go exploring together and talk.

Urion looked at her and waited for her to stand firmly, so that they were both set on their feet to walk. "The day is not over yet, we still have much to do and so much to see, Marina." He said, in a soft voice.

She took her hand and stood up, her legs getting much better. "Oh? Heh, ok.~" Marina said happily. "Where did you want to go?~"

He only gave her a smile and lead her to the eastern gate. Once they were there, he opened the gate slowly, and then walked out, holding her hand firmly. The woods were only a straight walk after that. It wasn't like the dangerous woods back in his home village. This village actually had a nice, calming and soothing atmosphere.

He looked back at Marina, before going any further along the path in front of the gate. "I am going to take you for a walk in the woods." He said, giving her another gentle smile.

Marina smiled back, but it was a curious smile as he hadn't answered her question yet. She squeezed his hand gently, following him through the gate. Looking around her surroundings, the woods were quite bright and green and didn't seem to have anything poisonous or threatening in it.

"Oh?" Marina nodded and smiled back. "All right then.~"

She seemed that she was comfortable with walking into the woods. If push came to shove, he would protect her from any danger and keep her safe. He smiled at her and grasped her hand firmly. "I will be right here with you, there is no need to worry, Marina." The daylight broke through the trees and shone a bit on his face. Urion looked back at the path.

"Shall we continue our walk?" He asked, in a soft voice.

Marina smiled and squeezed his hand back a bit. "Thank you, Urion, hehehe.~" she said softly as she nodded, giving the okay to continue with the walk.

As they were walking around, Marina was looking around curiously. She felt safe being in these sort of woods and she had an extra sense of security when being around Urion. She smiled to herself happily and then looked up to Urion. "So how are you?"

Urion blushed when she giggled. He usually did, because her goggle was really cute. But, he still managed to focus on the path ahead of him. He didn't want Marina to see him blush. It would have been kind of embarrassing. "You are welcome, Marina.' He said, softly. He looked at all the trees, animals, and flowers. It was truly a beautiful sight. All the colors of the forest mixed in with its natural green.

He was in awe, until Marina spoke. Urion looked ahead of him and continued to walk. "I am fine, Marina." He said, continuing his walk."How have you been fairing lately?"

Marina smiled. "That's good...Oh? I'm fine as well," she said. Marina stretched a bit, raising her arms. As a result, Urion's arm went up with hers as she was still holding his hand. She realized this, and immediately put her arms down. "O-Oh, sorry," she apologized with a nervous chuckle.

Urion laughed when she apologized. She was always so edgy around him. They had known each other for quite a while, and she was as jumpy as ever. "You don't have to apologize for that, Marina." He said, leading her through an opening, left of them, in between two oak trees. There was a river on the edge, behind a wall of blueberry bushes that grew ten feet away from the path. He stopped with her and looked at the river as it glistened under the sun. "Here we are, Marina." He said, with a big smile as he looked at her.

Marina tilted her head to the side curiously at him. She then began to smile back at Urion. "All right then, so--" Marina caught herself before apologizing again. It was turning into bit of a habit.

Looking out at the river, Marina started beaming. "Heh...So pretty!"

I'm glad you like it here Marina. I will take you here as much as you want. Just the two of us." He said, looking at Marina, as she stood in awe at the river. He chuckled a little. It was interesting to say in the least. To see her react to it the way that she did. He also felt like he had see this somewhere before. It was the same scene that played in one of his dreams. Once again, in his dream, all that he could see was a shadowy figure next to him. Maybe, it was her. It was a possibility that it was.

Marina smiled and turned to him. "Heh, all right...Thank you!" she said beaming. Marina always liked seeing Urion always so calm. And listening to his laugh gave nearly the same effect as when Urion was playing his harp. Marina looked to the river once more and then looked back to Urion. She ran back up to him and smiled. "So what shall we do now?"

When she ran back up to him. He sat his Harp down gently to his left side and then looked at her for a moment, before turning back to face the river. "Perhaps, there is another place we can go." He looked back at Marina with a smile. There was a field where beautiful flowers of all sorts grew. It would be a perfect setting for Marina. The openness of the field would be perfect to watch the flowers bloom and sway with the wind. He could also play another song for her.

"Oh?" Marina blinked, smiling back curiously. She stood near to him. "Lead the way?" Marina asked with a tilt of the head. Marina didn't know what place he had in mind, but she trusted him.
