A Bundle of Joy...

Angela worked hard on the books, making sure that she had them all organized and in the proper place. It would only be a hassle if they had to rearrange things again and again so she was determined to go it right. It wasn't long until all the boxes were done for the books, the only evidence being the folded cardboard and the now full shelves that they left behind. She smiled a little to herself before turning to her boyfriend and smiling more.

"Alright, let's keep getting the boxes broken down and emptied. At this rate we might be able to make a pretty nice dent into all the work before bed." She said as she wandered over to another set of boxes and furniture to help complete the room.

Kayden simply nodded at what Angela said, and started to empty the other sets of boxes. Doing something with his hands turned out to help him get his mind off of his girlfriend's possible pregnancy. He happened to open up the box with his Xbox 360 along with the kinect. His games were in the smaller box next to it.

"Hey Angela." He called over to her. "You want to play some games later?" He asked, holding up the game station.

Angela had stumbled upon the box that carried the lampshades for the lights as well as other simple pieces as end tables for the couch and the nice rounded coffee table that she had picked from a neighbors trash, after asking for permission of course. She put the lamps together quietly, leaving out the light bulbs out since she did not find that box yet. She turned her attention to her boyfriend when he called her and smiled a bit as he hefted up the game system that he loved so much. A game really would help her clear her mind and be a good end to the day.

"Sure...Let's get the furniture in place and the rest of the boxes out of the way so that we have some room though."

"Sure thing." He smiled, placing the Xbox back into it's box and setting it off to the side to be dealt with later.

He moved onto the other boxes with their new furniture, putting them together with little difficulty, and setting them in a place that he though looked good. He had a feeling Angela would come and correct him on where he put most of the the stuff. He shrugged, thinking he'll get to it later, and began working on hooking up the T.V. He was the only one strong enough to lift it. He would have his girlfriend help him out in reaching any cords that fell out of his reach, or if he couldn't reach the plug in. Her arms were much more suited for that than his.

Angela kept back as her boyfriend moved the furniture and extra boxes into temporary spots, spots that she would have to change at a later date. She then watched him put together the TV, hoping in to help once it came to setting up the cord and plugging everything in. It wasn't long before everything was set up, only the game system needing to be put in at that point. She left that for Kayden to finish as she wandered over to the box of games, shuffling around in it for a moment before pulling out some of their favorite games to play.

"What do you want to play first?" She asked as she looked over the games she picked, unsure of which one he would rather play at that moment.

Kayden was hooking up the Xbox and the kinect, making sure they had enough plugins and extension cords to get the job done. When Angela asked him what game he'd like to play first, he glanced over at her, catching a glimpse of the cases. He only saw the Left 4 Dead 2, and Dance Central case from his view point. He wasn't all that sure of which one he'd like to play first.

Killing zombies was always fun, and it helped him to relieve himself of some of his anger he picked up from work. On the other hand, Dance Central was a game he always played to get his mind off things. Focusing on the songs and dance moves distracted him from the drama of work and other things.

"Do you feel like playing Dance Central?" He asked as he finished up connecting the systems.

"Sure!" Angela said, glad that he chose that game.

She liked shooting zombies and all but that game scared so much that she sometimes threw the control into the air and hid...Kayden still laughed at her for it. She grabbed the game and wandered over to Kayden, holding it out to him so he could take it and put it in. She was rather happy that they weren't trying to talk out the idea of her being pregnant now and just letting it slide for the night...However, they would have to face the facts in the morning and go buy a test to make sure.

Kayden saw the game out of the corner of his eye as he made sure he had everything set up right. He grabbed at it, missing the first time but correcting himself and took hold of the game the second time. He sort of wished he bought Dance Central 2 when he had the chance, so they'd be able to play at the same time, but he ended up putting his game money into the savings. It turned out to be a good idea when they decided to buy a house together; the extra money came in handy.

When he was sure everything was just fine, he took out the game and put it in the Xbox, then turned everything on. He smiled triumphantly when the game started up. "So. What song would you like to do first?" He asked her. "And do you want to be player one or two?"

After stepping back, Angela watched him put the game in. When he asked about with song an which player she wanted to be she just shrugged her shoulders. She didn't truly care all that much about it since it was just a game. She honestly just wanted to start playing it.

"It doesn't matter really to me, you can chose the song and all of that stuff. I just want to start playing." She said with a smile as she watched the screen light up with the system starting logo.

She was glad to be able to relax and just have a bit of fun after there long day, they had moved so much that she couldn't believe that it was all theirs! On top of that they still had to get the rest of the house out together and arranged before Kayden returned to work. Along with all of that she still had to keep in mind the possible baby that might be coming, a thought both unnerving and exciting at the same time.

Kayden just shrugged and selected the two player option. He randomly chose the character Angel and the song King of the Dancehall. "I'll go first." He said, then started the game on hard. He was pretty good at this game, and unlocked everything on here. Kayden even got five gold stars on most of the songs.

He knew they would have to talk about her and the baby that could be on its way the next day. They would go out and eat breakfast, then buy her a test to confirm everything. He was hopeful that she would be pregnant, which meant that he would be a father. It scared him, but in the end it would be up to Angela. It was her body after all. If she wanted to have the baby then he would object. He would do the same if she didn't want it.

Angela took a seat on the couch and watched him play his song. He was so much better at it than she was, she was still stuck on medium and could only get up to 3 stars, 4 if she was lucky. Then again, she was never the most graceful person, when they had been out on their first date she had constantly stepped on his toes during the slow dance, rendering out a wave of apologies for the rest of the evening. She clapped when he finished the song, having the same perfect score as usual. She then got up for her turn and chose random, feeling like just winging it that evening.

It went on like this for rest of the night, each of them taking turns and Kayden winning in the end without question. The thought of a baby was lost amongst the laughs and and jokes of the night, the couple finally retiring to bed after digging though the boxes in search of their sheets and blankets. Morning came soon after that, an early start planned since they had quite a bit too do. Angela did not get out of bed right away though, she didn't want to have to face the music of the pregnancy test isle at the pharmacy...

(Hope you don't mind the small time skip...Just figured that we could move it along. I will change it if you want me to!)

((No I don't mind the little time skip. I was actually going to suggest one.))

Kayden fell asleep a little later than Angela did last night. Even though he was wiped out from all of their unpacking and dancing, he couldn't get his mind off of the possible pregnancy of his girlfriend. The alarm went off from the bedside table next to Kayden the next morning. He didn't stir right away, mostly because he was such a heavy sleeper. He usually set it back about ten minutes from when he wanted to get up. It kept getting louder and louder as it was allowed to go on.

Finally he reached over and pressed the snooze button, letting his arm go limp on the side of the bed. He hated that he couldn't clear his mind last night so he could get some sleep. It usually happened when he was working on a difficult case at work. He always managed to wake up by the time he had to do something though, so the regret didn't last long.

Angela turned to her boyfriend, having awoken before the alarm had gone off. She didn't want to wake him just yet, it would have been impossible anyway since he was such a heavy sleeper. She moved in a cuddled into his side lightly, giving him a small kiss on the cheek like she did every morning she woke up by his side. She looked up at him with a small smile as she placed a hand on his chest, patting him to help him wake up.

"Morning sunshine...Ready for more work?" She asked softly, still a little asleep herself as she spoke. She gave a small yawn before she continued on. "We need to get some breakfast and stop at the pharmacy..."

She let the end of the end of her sentence hang, knowing that they would soon be finding out the answer to the question that had been on their minds all night.

Kayden opened his eyes slowly, squinting at the ray of sunlight that hit them. He pulled Angela to him with his left arm in a light hug. "Good morning..." He yawned. Kayden thought of all the boxes they still had to unpack. They needed to go out first, like she just said. Breakfast, then the pharmacy...for the big test.

"How did you sleep last night?" He asked, his words being slurred together a bit from his sleepy state. He laid there in bed with her, rubbing her back gently as he tried to wake himself up.

"I slept like a baby after all of that work...Though I had a little trouble actually falling asleep, I had a lot on my mind with the house I suppose." She said softly as she cuddled into his grasp.

She did have a lot on her mind, there was so much to do and organize before Kayden got to work. They also had to think about updating the house to there standards which meant redoing the closet and painting over the nasty beige that dominated the main floor, at least their bedroom was a nice shade of green. Though it seemed like they had plenty of time to do that they would also be racing a clock if she was pregnant, trying to get so many things done before she became completely useless. After cuddling into Kayden for a bit longer, Angela pulled away, slipping from the bed and heading over to her suitcase that had the clothing she would wear until they were unpacked.

"Come on, Kayden. We can't stay in bed all day, there is work to do."

Kayden thought there was more on her mind last night than just the house. Why wouldn't there be if you believed you were pregnant? He pulled the covers off of him and got out of bed. He made sure to turn off the alarm before it would go off again. He then moved towards his own suitcase, stretching his arms out over his head. It helped wake him up a bit more. Kayden zipped open his suitcase of clothes, randomly picking out an outfit. He was never really picky about what he wore. If he could move freely in them then he was fine.

After slipping into a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, Angela was ready to go. She sat on the bed and pulled on her socks as she waited for Kayden to get dressed. She couldn't help the nervous feeling her stomach got as she thought of the test, both fear the answer as well as welcoming it. With a swift move her shoes were on her feet, leaving her only to wait for her boyfriend to finish up. She bounced on the balls of her feet, waiting for with an new found eagerness that she did not realize she had.

Maybe it was from the thought of finally knowing if she was expecting or not, or maybe it was the idea of getting their house put together mostly that day. Whatever it was she quickly grabbed his hand, smiling slightly at him as she pulled him down the stairs.

"Come on, I'm hungry!" She said with a small laugh, trying to get her slow boyfriend to move faster.

Kayden just slipped on some cargo shorts and a shirt which his mother bought for him one time just for the hell of it. The white collared shirt with the pink, yellow and red bubble design seemed a bit girlie how that he thought about it for once. He was still slipping on one of his sandals when his eager girlfriend grabbed his hand, dragging him along with her down the stairs.

"Alright, alright." He laughed. Kayden finally woke up all the way now. He already took his keys and wallet off of his bedside table and put them in his pocket before Angela came and dragged him off for breakfast. "You have any idea where you want to go?" He asked as she continued to pull him along.

"Somewhere nice, a place we can sit down and eat...I'm tired of fast food." She admitted to him as she walked with him out of the house, only pausing to lock up.

She was speaking the truth, they had been eating fast food for the last few days since they moved, having been unable to use a kitchen of any sort. She wanted a good home cooked meal, even if it wasn't exactly cooked at home. She also wanted a place where they could sit, relax and start to plan things out for the worst. If she was expecting then she didn't plan on getting rid of it, which meant they she would need to plan for having the baby and the expenses that came with it.

Angela didn't voice this out loud though, she would leave that topic for when they knew the answer. For now, she was going to focus on the house, talk about breaking up the work and getting things sorted. More importantly, getting the kitchen sorted so she could stock them up on food and get the fridge filled...oh that was going to be one expensive shopping trip now that she thought about it. She slipped into the car, waiting for Kayden quietly, ready to start chattering away about her plans for the day.

He stepped into the car, starting it up and turning the heaters on. It was sort of cold in there from last night. "Would you like to go to Black Bear Diner?" He asked as he buckled his seat belt. It was a nice, quiet place to go to where they could relax and talk out everything. He knew she wanted to do just that, and he did as well. The bonus was that they served huge servings of food for everything. He smiled at the thought of a filling breakfast.
