  6. Some of those were awesome, some of them were creepy.

    As for nostalgia for 8Bit games, I recall this fun adventure RPG that wasn't Zelda that I enjoyed but I can't recall the name. Also couldn't get past the third continent.

    I remember really loving <a href="http://www.videogamehouse.net/tombstone.html">this game</a> when I was a wee lad. Yes, I still have it. Yes, it still works.

    I also really loved <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impossible_Mission">this game</a>. Yes, I still have it. Yes, it still works. Yes, I have the NTSC version that I never could finish because of the bug. This game truly lived up to it's name!

    And, while not exactly"8-bit art," this thread reminded me of <a href="http://dj4aces.info/stuff/pics/duckhuntpredator.gif">this (safe for work/schhool) image</a>. And last but not least, <a href="http://dj4aces.info/stuff/pics/roflcoptermovie.gif"</a>ASCII</a> art.
