Instructions:
1. Aim for a minimum of 1-3 paragraphs. If you'd like to write more than that, then go for it!
2. Make sure you use each word in your post. Be as creative as you'd like.
3. Style the writing like you would for a story. It can be describing a setting, or written from the perspective of a character. Whatever you feel would work the best.

They brought him into the room in chains, forcing him onto his knees in front if the Emperor. The grandeur appearance of the room was offset by the tense atmosphere that the man on the floor created. Ornate decorations and lavish furniture that would usually be what caught an observers attention was for once dulled in interest by the man in shackles, the one who smiled as though he knew a terrible secret. The Emperor signaled for quiet, and the hushed voices in the room immediately ceased.

The officer to the Emperor's right began to list off the charges. "Timon Wenns, you have been charged with abnegating your duties to the state, and renouncing the authority of the Emperor. The Emperor has called from your removal from society, for the sake of order amongst the populace." Timon looked up at the Emperor, his eyes wild and his smile cruel. The Emperor stared back at him blankly.

"The state has ruled to divest you of your status, and send you to work in the labor mines in the West Lands. If you have any final grievances, you make speak them now." The audience sat up, eager to hear the prisoner speak. His aptitude for speeches had once been the most fiducial aspect of his personality, giving him the ability to soothe the most angry of mobs, and convince an entire empire to see things his way. However, Timon simply stayed silent, never breaking eye contact with the Emperor.

The Emperor stared at the man kneeling before him; the boy who had once been a braggart, boasting of his father's power and authority for all the world to hear, but had grown into a rebel, scorning the father he had once idolized in favor of preaching freedom for the masses. The Emperor nodded, and the guards dragged Timon out of his sight. He could say he loved his son more than the power.

But he would be lying.
