49th Hunger Games

Andrew
Andy followed Daniel, curious as to what he was going to show him. When he pulled out a crossbow, he crossed his arms, ready to watch. Nodding to let Daniel know he was ready, he saw another guy out of the corner of his eye. There was way too many people here.

Breanne:
Breanne kept to herself, lingering at the camouflage station. The instructor suggested she do a tree background, since there are almost always trees in the arena. She nodded, picking up the brush and starting to work. At first she had no idea what she was doing, but the instructor had a lot of tips, and even showed her how to add texture. Before she knew it, her left hand looked just like the tree they had for reference. She smiled faintly, at least she was good at this.

Kyler:
Kyler's eyes scanned the area. He was looking for the Career tributes. The Careers always worked together, weaving out the other less-prepared and weaker tributes. He knew that the only way he was going to get far in these games was if he managed to join their pre-set alliance. He could only spot two, so he decided that, for now, his time would be best spent working at some stations. He walked over to the sword ran, brushing his fingertips over each of the blades. He's always dreamed of using one of these. Kyler selected one, and walked over to the dummies.

Jenna:
Jenna was walking through a sore when one of the Capitol people approached her. Apparently they remembered her from her victor year, and they told her she was one of their favorite victors. Jenna gave the oddly dressed female (or, was it a male? She couldn't tell.) a charming smile. She knew just how to play these single minded apes, which was how she had earned the hearts of so many. "Thank you," she said sweetly, "I'm actually mentoring this year. My tributes look like they have a lot of promise, maybe you'll sponsor us?" The Capitol (fe)male gave her a devious look, saying they just might.

Dice
Dice walks up behind Bree and looks at her arm. " thats cool" he says with a smile. He leans on the table in front of her " were are my manors , im dice " he says holding out his hand.

Larkin

Larkin had been working away in the training room long before any of the other tributes, or even the other careers, had shown up. He had a confident and cocky air about him; the multitude of dummies he'd already torn through doing little to hide his strength and brutality. He seemed completely focused on ripping the practice dummies apart, paying the other tributes, and even the other careers, little attention as he did so.

Bloodrayne

Bloodrayne had quietly followed her tributes to the training area, watching them silently like a predator stalking it's prey. She watched them try to find their way around, and sighed lightly. This always reminded her of when she had been the helpless tribute; forced to train. Though; she shook those thoughts away, returning to watching her tributes intently.

Desiree

After taking a multitude of deep breaths, Desiree managed to pry herself away from the elevator. She managed to keep her head high and walk proudly, rather than cower in fear. She swallowed hard, going first to the memorization stand. She set to work, absently; she already knew a majority of these things, but she wanted review. She worked quietly, secretly hoping for a potential ally to approach.

Farren:
Farren walked around the training room. She was completely, and utterly, terrified. How cpuld she win? There was no possible way. She saw tall and strong guys who could throw spears halfway across the toom. She'd be split in two if she ever crossed his path. She looked back at Bloodrayne. She was staring intently at her, and Farren shrugged helplessly. What was she supposed to do? She didn't have any skills whatsoever. Except climbing trees. But then, the arena may not have trees, then she'd be dead.

Breanne:
Breanne jumped slightly when she heard a male voice at her side, turning to see who was speaking to her. he introduced himself as Dice, and she smiled softly at him. "Thanks," she said, looking down at her camouflaged hand before sticking out her clean one. "I'm Brea," she told him, giving his hand a few shakes before turning back to the table.

Kyler:
Kyler twirled the sword in his hand a few times, getting a good feel of it. Then, in one quick motion, he turned around, chopping off the head of the nearest dummy. It fell to the floor with a thud, but by then Kyler was already hitting the other targets. Each of his strikes were calculated and well-thought out. This wasn't all that different from using an Ax, honestly.

Jenna:
Her smile disappeared as Jenna watched the Capitol person walk away. She was sure that she had just earned her two tributes a sponsor, without even really trying. Seriously, she just came here to shop, not to work. Guess this was one of the perks of being a well-loved Victor. She turned back to the dress rack, browsing through the selection absentmindedly.

Vee

Vee kept walking around the training area hoping for one person she could trust. But then the reality of the whole thing sets in and she almost cries, but she holds back the tears knowing that they would mark her as an easy target.

Dice
" keep up the good work"
he says as he winks at Brea and walks towards the hand to hand Sect. Dice walks up to one of the punching bags and begins to put in some combos as he smirks. He steps back while he ducks and weaves before he does a round house kick.

JACK
Jack managed to find a trident in the spear rack and decided to practice his thrusts . Trying to be more creative with his attacks he adds some flips in them. He looks at the targets before he turns around. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before spinning back around and throwing the trident hitting the target " yeah !" he yells from excitement .

Farren looked at the guy who had just yelled, "Yeah!", in surprise. He was happy that he had just decimated a target. She shivered with goosebumps. She was not going to make it. It was obvious, no?

Jack

Jack turns around to get another Spear from the rack but stops when he sees a girl looking at him. he holds out a hand and gives her a short wave .

Farren:
Farren sent him a short wave back, but then turmed around and walked away as fast as she could towards another station. Everything was terrifying. She was just this tiny, bothersome, insect conpared to the other tributes. Farren just wanted to go home, and see her family again. She wanted to win the Games to see them again. But the odds are never in her favor.

Vee:
Vee looked around at all the other tributes socializing, she knew she didn't have a chance I'd she didn't have an ally herself, but she knew she didn't have a chance finding an ally too. She started to take deep breaths and count to ten in her mind.

Bloodrayne

A sigh passed the young woman's lips, and she shook her head. While Kyler was obviously holding up well, Farren on the other hand... Biting her cheek, Bloodrayne decided to hold back a bit longer. She wasn't about to make a scene out of training with her female tribute, with all the others around. So? She managed to keep leaned against the wall. 'C'mon, kid.. There's gotta be SOMETHING you're good at...'

Desiree

After completing her work at the memorization stand, Desiree wandered absently to the practice dummies. "Hmm..." she mused, hand ghosting over the various weapons. Bingo. Triumphantly, she pulled out an axe. At least I know how to use this... With a deep breath, she began practicing. Though, her display wasn't terribly impressive, nor terribly embarrassing. Now, however, her focus was split between practice and singling out potential allies.

((Sorry for posting delays.. I'm stuck with voice-to-text.))

Vee:
Science Vee wanted to make allies she finally decided to go over to the knives, her main weapon. She hit one right in the heart, another in the center of the head target and another in the center of the arm target.

Alexandra:

Alex watched as all the others practiced, she knew she wouldn't make it far...but she also knew she had to try. She walked over to the sword station, and clumsily picked it up. Alex huffed, the weight of the weapon uncomfortable in her hand, then placed it back down

John:

John sighed, and continued his trek forward, looking around for the wealthier people of the capitol, even entering a clothing store to find them. He looked through the sections of crazy, supposedly fashionable clothes, till he found a plump man. The two talked, and the man promised a small amount of money

Farren:
Farren sighed. Come on Farren, get a hold of yourself. She went to the bow and arrow station, and got a bow. If she had any skill whatsoever, it'd be with axes or swords. She decided to go to the station where all the axes were located at. She picked up an axe, it was quite light compared to the ones back in District 7. Farren started swinging it around, to get a feel of it.

Daniel:
He walked to the three with targets, he shoots one arrow stabbing the middle of the target, He rolls and shoots another arrow hitting another target and rolls again and shoots the final arrow hitting the last target, He stood up and dusts his pants off

Andrew
The brunet clapped once Daniel finished his little show. "Amazing skill you got there," Andrew said as he walked over towards Daniel. He crossed his arms once more, a small grin on his face. "Guess we're allies now." At least I was able to get one ally today, he thought. He wondered if he would be able to gain some more before the day ended. If not, there was always the second training day.

Vee:

Vee continued to throw her knives, always hitting the target.

Daniel

"Thanks" He smiled and put the crossbow over his back, He was one of the best of the district, if not the best.
He was happy that he had an ally, less the enemies, less the trouble. "So what do you do?" if he was going to be an ally, he needed to know that Andrew can at least know how to use a knife.

Stelios:

As he finished in the memorization room, He walked back to the room previous to this, he started packing his bag, he was tired and needed rest.
