I'm looking for someone to play a mercenary character in a sci-fi plot based roleplay. It'd be awesome if anyone interested could shoot me pm! Plot is below!
2032 the world falls after a virus is released, the human population falls until those that are immune to the virus remain. Any form of government and social structure falls, until 2037 when they begin to restructure themselves into some form of capable society. Aliens from a united nation descend on the world, thinking it a barren place that they can reform and repopulate. They find the remnants of a broken civilization, and chose to take these people aboard, terraform the planet, and begin a new. The planet is renamed Terra, and a brand new nation is formed.
2091 the new world had flourished. Terra is a place of high technology, and of plenty of culture. Robots and artificial intelligence roams the earth to help their mortal companions. An artificial being however has yet to be created, and a human scientist has been working on trying to create a being artificially.
October 3rd, 2091. The lab is found abandoned, with things torn apart except a special pod that highly resembles a Class C13 stasis pod installed aboard colony ships. However it is instead an F-341 Embryo chamber. Designed as a surrogacy womb, this was installed in the lab as a way for the scientist, Dr. Albern Henson, to use for a womb for his artificial creation. When the lab is finally breached by a group of mercenaries they find that the Embryo chamber is intact and currently running. Inside the pod is a fully formed female, asleep and still growing as she gains nutrients she needs through the chamber.
The woman is pulled from the chamber, and introduced into the world. She doesn't know how to speak, or how to do much of anything from spending a lot of time in the chamber. Brought to another lab she is studied, and shown how to speak and do other things. One mercenary is requested to stick around, after the woman is shown to take a liking to the man. Upon showing the knowledge on how to interact with others she is permitted to leave the lab provided she is being escorted. Several alien species have shown to see the woman and call her the pure one. A being that has not seen the horrors of the world, and of mortal man, a woman that will show the world something that will bring them to peace.
The woman however wants to find out what happened to Dr. Henson, the man that gave her life, and his genes. Her father. While all this happens the woman remains nameless, and though she never asks what her name is. It is most obvious, this woman needs a name.
