Holy shit that question ^

13. r u hot? If you could have three animal forms (fictional, real, extinct) what would they be?

14. Have you ever broken the law? And by that I mean have you ever stolen anything, be it big or small?

12. Who would you want to out-live the other: your mother or your father?
I have to go with my mother.
13. If you could have three animal forms (fictional, real, extinct) what would they be?
Fictional: Chocobo. Easy choice.
Real: Falcon, or other bird of prey
Extinct: I'm not familiar with many extinct animals, but for extinct I'll go with sabertooth tigers.
14. Have you ever broken the law? And by that I mean have you ever stolen anything, be it big or small?
I used to shoplift when I was a young, stupid teenager. The most expensive items I ever stole were probably clothes. However, stealing is not the only way you can break the law, and I have broken numerous other laws lol. Most of them are pretty mundane (speeding, texting and driving, use of controlled substances). Some of them are rougher and I won't talk about them publicly.

15. What do you actually do for work?

15. What do you actually do for work?
Okay, you got me. I'm an escort.

Hahaha, no but honestly, I'm not sure you're going to get much more out of me than I've already shared with you unanun. But here goes for the rest of the folks!

I work in sales and marketing for a company my parents own. It's a small business of about 40-50 employees total, although we do have a small handful of employees in Asia.

My day-to-day tasks are primarily taking sales calls and customer service calls, order entry, and reaching out to existing customers to make sales. I do a lot of work in Excel, and in SAP, a business resource system.

Because it's my parents' company though, I'm also involved in a much more high-level capacity that also includes traveling to trade shows, working on marketing plans and strategies, developing new product ideas and designs, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse management, production management, operations management @_@ I mean honestly the list goes on and on.

I've worked virtually every job in this company from being in the warehouse literally pulling orders all the way to this one now. I'd say I have a pretty comprehensive understanding of the company and the market I am in on both a micro and macro level.

I mean, the biggest plus is, I get to be on Iwaku while I'm at work. How awesome is that?

16. What's your favorite type of ice cream?
I'm not a huge fan of ice cream nowadays (frozen yogurt seems to be the trendy thing to do now lol), but I gotta say that Baskin Robbins' Pralines & Cream flavor is probably my favorite.
17 what's your blood type
My blood type is B. I think it's B+ but I'm not sure.

19. If so, why not?

Totally kidding.

19. If you've ever gone, What's college like?

>_> Why what

Because, we can't know unless we try. Even if we fail, we fail better.

College is whatever you make of it. I had an interesting experience because I commuted to school for my first two years, and literally it was all just me going to class, then coming home at the end of the day. I opted not to dorm because of cost and because my university was only a 30-minute drive anyway.

Those two years were awful. I struggled in my classes and didn't really have a support system of any kind to fall back on, aside from the few friends I had from high school. I did very little socializing because I didn't have a reason to, and while I do enjoy my own time by myself, I needed an outlet to socialize.

In my third year I got involved in extracurriculars, and actually ended up moving into an apartment with some of the people in the activity. Life chaaaaanged. I had way more fun, went to parties, hung out with people, and made lasting friendships that have persisted even after college. As a bonus, it was a competitive activity I excelled at, which also happened to look good on my resume lol.

So, when you go into undergrad, dorm! It immediately puts you in a position to get to know and befriend people. And get involved in something - whether it's a Greek organization, a sport, a band, an extracurricular, whatever. Having a common interest helps give you a sense of belonging.

Only one more question left for my turn in the hot seat, folks! Make it a good one.

20 why iwaku
You know, that's a good question. I've told this story a bunch of times, but basically I've been on the internet since the days of dial-up modems. 28.8 kbps stuff. I used to roleplay before I even knew that it was called roleplay. First on AOL chatrooms, then on Yahoo.

Long story short, Yahoo ended up devolving into mostly OOC with bursts of really awfully written smut. I wasn't finding satisfaction there but didn't have good experiences on any roleplay forums I looked into at the time. This was around 2006 or 2007. At that point, most of the roleplay I had was with people I already had on my friends list, or with people they had on their friends lists via referral. But as Yahoo Chat roleplaying started to go, so too did my friends list start to dwindle.

I ended up tabling my desire to roleplay for a long time, and started focusing on other things. I'd log into Yahoo every once in a while, and be disappointed.

At some point I decided to try searching for a forum again, and Iwaku was among the first I checked out. I was immediately attracted to the design of the website (shoutouts to @Diana, @Vay, and @jared555) which is kind of superficial, but it's the truth. What got me to stay was the community. Some of the friendliest, most positive, talented, thoughtful people I think I've ever met have been from Iwaku.

You guys are awesome. <3

With that, @fatalrendezvous steps out of the hot seat!

Who wants to volunteer for the next round?

I will, if no one else really wants to (I'll let them have it if they do). I'm not exactly much of an established member yet, but I hope I'm active enough that people at least recognize my name ^ω^

I'm not very good at integrating into communities and I find little stuff like this is good for that. It makes me feel more comfortable with the community, which means I can be more active, which means I grow even more comfortable, so it's an endless cycle of positivity. So that's why I want to do this.

1! Why did you add on to that Valentines day nonsense!?
It was such an innocuous idea at first, I swear. I never knew what it would become D:

In all seriousness, It started with several Valentyne's Day jokes made recently by my friends. One of them said we should start a holiday for single people and call it Valentyne's Day. I think it should be on the 15th so we can celebrate with half-priced chocolate and such. ...Actually, I don't really like chocolate, so.
