Introduction:

Hi all! Fae here with this..brainrot. I don't have too much of solid plot I'm hoping to plan with you all! This is mostly a copy-paste of my interest check but with some rules although i promise i am flexible on them!

Rules:
- i'd prefer discord for ooc just because i can't really use this site often on my phone but if majority wants it here i can make a group PM or a thread here

-I am a fairly advanced lit writer however i can sometimes go all the way up to novella, it's not required, so long as you give us enough to go off of.

-i work full time so honestly RP responses are welcome to be flexible so long as you're not inactive for too long without warning

-i shouldn't say this since it should be obvious but please be kind and respectful to others, no bigotry i will not tolerate it at all.

-you have got to be okay collabing with other writers here and planning out stuff together, can't god-mod just ask "hey what would your character do if I did X?"

-i'm not sure how fight scenes will go in this? I might have it be story-based probably? However i will not allow one-shotting unless it's collabed or something.

-for your characters i do reserve the right to deny or accept your OC's it will be a first come first serve though to give you time to make a character sheet and what-not! You can make 2 characters each, however if not many people join I may ask for more per person

-Shipping is fine btw! I, personally would like to ship my OC with someone on the good side so that'd be cool if someone wanted to so go ahead and ship your characters idm!

-Finally, important rule: give me the blorbos, i demand all the OCs', I love peoples' OCs' so much let me cry and fangirl for them pls<3333

Plot:
Following the story of Avatar the Last Airbender, the Fire Nation wiped out the Air Nation in an attempt to kill the avatar and begin the 100 year war, however the avatar was still alive and vanished while the war has waged on.
100 years later, the avatar was first founded by the banished prince of the fire nation and his uncle.

The plot is still open to be talked about amongst people; however this will technically have books/chapters like the series did.

We can plot pretty much anything together, i would like have bonding moments amongst the group maybe an ember island type episode with the fire nation squad. who knows! The plot is indeed fairly open so please feel free to recommend stuff!

Characters:
So, this is mostly going to be Ocs'. However if there's a role you see and you're like "well i can't replace Sokka/toph/zuko/ Iroh/etc", then yeah I'll let y'all use a CC, I personally don't mind. Most characters however will be aged up to be 16+ minimum 15+
Though if Toph is brought in I'll make an exception cuz let the 12 year old kick ass

Kyoka's birth was shrouded in a veil of darkness and soft downy white hair, a cruel twist of fate for the daughter of two renowned nobles. From the tender age of infancy, her eyes remained eternally shrouded in darkness, casting her into a world of perpetual shadows. Despite the adversity that confronted her, Kyoka's spirit burned with an unyielding flame. Her parents, consumed by love and a deep-rooted belief in their daughter's potential, provided her with every opportunity to thrive amidst her unique circumstances.   PERSONALITY : vera has gone through a change throughout the years. when she was younger vera found herself not liking human interaction and would rather be by herself or by her air bison she named fern. she stayed by her mentor and sort of motherly figure, another air bender named amore. she was a wise woman who tried to push vera out of her comfort zone. she was successful in bringing out a bit more light out of the shyness. vera, becoming a bright and bubbly personality lit up the halls she entered. she had fun playing with the other air benders and attending her lessons in trying to master her element. she was easy to make friends with people and adored making new buddies. as she grew so did her curiosity and her wonder for the world around. she wanted to explore, to see the different cultures from her own. she is a bit of a people pleasure, craving validation in many outlets due to the pressure and stress she was put under when news of her being the avatar was discovered. she became withdrawn from others after being left out on many occasions from fellow air benders she called friends. vera is purposely oblivious at times as to ignore the duties of her status as avatar. once she escapes the iceberg she takes up much of her old personality; very carefree and adventurous if not a little too reckless. vera often fights with her mind on many counts of guilt over the choice she made and the consequences of her vanishing. she is hard on herself many times jumping to degrading herself in probable hope of atoning for her "sins". she can be brash and outspoken, quick to snap when frustrated.

  1. painting : from when she could comprehend how to use her body she took to painting. amore found it strange how much joy she took in painting whenever they were visiting far off places. even in the coldest of weather vern could be seen sketching and making notes of what color would go where. her room was filled with all her painting.
  2. yoga & reading : while in between training vera would be found in yoga poses reading a book, didn't matter what position she was. downward dog she was reading. happy baby she was reading. half moon? she was reading. even if she had no book available she would be seen in the middle of the court yard in poses. it was a way for her to calm her nerves and focus on her body and breathing.
  3. climbing trees : this was for sure a pass time enjoyment. she was always testing the limits on what she could climb (with or without the help of airbending) or just for alone time. if she wasn't taking care of her sky bison fern she was most likely in a tree hiding from the world.
  4. singing : little songbird. that was the nickname that amore gave her. it was a welcomed surprise even from a baby who would ramble off random sounds as if she was singing. it started off cute and ass the days turned to weeks the talent grew. she has a soft and sweet singing voice. she is hesitant to sing in front of others but will once she warms up to the person.

  BACKSTORY : vera's birth is a mystery. much as where she was born. all that is known is that a young baby was left at the eastern air temples one night and found soon after. no source in sight. the monks, confused and worry filled took the young babe into their care, one such monk was amore. amore took a liking towards the young child and quickly raised her alongside the other benders and yet, something was different. why was this baby left along on their doorstep? after many weeks trying to convince the other monks they finally listened to her please and woes testing the young girl/ it so became true, the young baby girl was the avatar. for some hope of a normal childhood the monks kept the truth from vera allowing her to grow up with little to no worries. they thought telling her at 16, when it was appropriate, would be best.
  
  as she grew up so did her personality going from a shy and timid girl blooming into a talkative and giddy girl always wanting to make friends with anyone she sees. friends came by quickly as did her love for learning the art of airbending. she was a quick learner picking up techniques and mastery very quickly. to try and entertain her mind, amore would have her explore the world as her underling, a way to keep her mind entertained and busy.
  
  years past and in time so did suspicions from not only vera, but for the other students as well. rumors spread among her peers on why vera seemed to get special treatment with amore. the resentment grew and grew eventually pushing vera away from their games and interactions. this saddened vera who didn't know what was going on. despite being the age of 16, the normal age for her to be told she was the avatar, vera did not take the news well. she was frustrated at them for telling her so late. amore told her she was of age and now it was time to learn the other elements bur she refused. she didn't want to learn the other elements she didn't WANT to be the avatar. in a fit of rage and fear she fled the safety of her temple and fled to her friend, an earth bender she yet many years ago. she was besides herself. for three years she lived outside of the temple. she refused to go back to the life of lie she was under for 16 long years. it wasn't until amore found her wondering the earth kingdom that she begged the avatar to come back home. they were behind on her training and needed to get started. against vera's better judgement she returned. a few months later she and amore got in another argument over her principles. amore was shocked that she admitted to eating meat while away from the temple.
  
  "all life is sacred yet you take the life of one to fulfill your own?"
  
  "i treated the animals with the respect that they deserve! i used every part of the animal and never wasted anything. i used the fur to keep me warm, left the bones for predators to sharpen their teeth, and many more!"
  
  amore was ashamed and disappointed. "you're no true airbender." hearing that broke her heart. she couldn't believe that the woman who raised her said that. hit with grief, she ran away once again. that would inevitably both save and doom her. while she was flying over the vast ocean they hit a serious thunderstorm. frightened and alone vera tried to get her bison fern out of the storm. it was all for not as they both crashed into the water quickly swallowed up. for the first time vera triggered her avatar state. with a mix of airbending and waterbending freezing them both in a sphere of ice keeping them alive and trapped in the avatar state.

  GUARDIANS : AMORE- amore was her guardian of sorts. not knowing who her mother and father were vera turned to the woman she called mother and grasped for the elder's approval in this timely situation. amore did what she could and tried guiding her well.
