Hi! I'm looking for people to venture as wannabe super heroes in myCity.
In 2000, a mysterious "Event" shook the earth and ripped up the sky, opening a strange gate known as "the Eye" on the moon, which still emits alien energies and influences the life of people to this day.
It was the beginning of an era of Gods and Monsters, almost literally... yet one place stood out even amidst all the chaos, a promised land for those with hope in a different, better future.
The Absolution Territory, better known as Absolution City is one of the largest "cities" of the World, located in an artificial archipelago a few dozen miles from L.A., the City is actually a complex man made structure of platforms upon which several smaller districts are built.
Founded right after the Event twenty years ago, in 2010, from the visionary idea of a small semi-religious community (some would say "cult") of meta-humans which used their combined abilities and technological expertise to create it. The territory was made to be completely self-sufficient, a free state for meta-humans and, surprisingly, it succeeded.
This was mostly due to the founder being one of the Quadrant, those who are considered the four most powerful and influential meta-humans of the world.
Though not really an organization, but merely a label stuck on those with enough strength, the Quadrant is a symbol of this new era.
Two of them: Ornate and Paladin, are considered "heroes", using their powers for the good of humanity.
One of them is a "villain", a barely human monster whose lust for power has brought more than one city to the brink of ruin, he... it, is called "Mu" by the public (though he never did give himself an alias).
Finally, there is Allure: a rogue wonder-maker, capable of mass producing wonders that no one else can replicate or repair, but anyone can use, and gifted with a great deal of charisma.
It was her who let the "cult" of the Inspired, and it was thanks to her that constructing the foundation of what is currently Absolution. She is the most revered, most influential mind of the world... yet few people actually know anything about her whereabouts and true goals.
Since eight years ago, the general public is unaware of her, and Absolution's crime rate has skyrocketed, forcing the City Council (now without a mistress) to act an emergency measure-
You are that emergency measure.
Heroes, both known and unknown, pulled from Allure's secret archives.
She was apparently monitoring anyone with potential for greatness, for good or ill.
And you're one of them.
You where given a chance to no only reside, but become a citizen of Absolution, which has been closing his frontiers since Allure vanished. In exchange, you will be joining an "Order of Guardians", basically city sanctioned vigilantes, and monitored in your actions.
