"Don't tell him," he said simply, as thought it really was that simple. It could be, if the vampire wanted it to be. He'd managed to hide the truth from his new boyfriend for months now-- hell, he'd hidden the truth from Mel too, who knew the existence of vampires. Therefore, Noel could hide it for a few years if he really wanted to, and at that point, Beau might be too in love to care. After all, Beau was hardly a committed hunter who loved the job - he hated it, quite honestly, and only did it because his father made him.

That point felt like it was important to make.

"You know, Beau isn't interested that much. My father watches him go hunting, and he always moans that it's a waste of time, says he'd rather not hunt-- I don't think he's evil or anythin' like that, he doesn't seem like he wants it that much, dude."

This helped calm the little vampire's nerves. So he didn't even care for hunting anyway. "...Well, that's great then. I can tell him when he and I are more serious. When he's super in love with me and I'm super in love with him. When we're like already married and stuff." Mumbled Noel as if it were set in stone. Since the two started dating the little vampire had already imagined their wedding. And decided that they would move in together and get a kitten named Frisco.

Why Frisco?...Don't know, but he liked that name. "He and I are going to be happy, forever, so..That's good.

"Forever and ever, like some fairytale? God, you're too cute, ain't 'ya? You're the cutest vampire I ever met-- hey, your Mom's a vampire too! That's why she's so young, yeah? Ah, makes sense now. Johnny and me were, like, trying to work out if she'd had surgery or somethin', 'cos she's insanely young to have a kid your age," he babbled in his typical tangent. A conversation with Mel could end up serious and then, two minutes later, he could have somehow led the conversation to talk about absolutely anything else... especially when he was high, which was mostly always.

"As cute as, like... a kitten or somethin'-- or a puppy. I prefer dogs, obviously. I kinda am one, in a weird way," he grinned, resting back against the ramp. "So, your Dad's back, is he? That's cool. Sucks, though-- for the guys in town who all fancy your Mom. But it'll be funny to hear 'em whine and moan like grumpy bastards about it."

"It's not great...Mel, it used to always be just me and my Mom. And now my Dad comes back and thinks he can just be apart of our family. He wasn't here my entire life! And now he wants to be a family with my mom and have another baby with her." grimaced the vampire as he went to lean against the railing holding the blanket close to him. "I don't want that. She'll...She'll forget all about me."

Sighing he went to nuzzle his best friend, laying his head on his chest. He grimaced a bit at how hard it was now. Mel was packed with muscles, so he wasn't as nice to cuddle anymore. Looking up at him, he huffed softly. "You've changed so much. Your chest isn't soft anymore."

"Yeah, but I can still give hugs, dude! Don't... Don't say I can't, it's like my only fuckin' talent!" Whined the boy as he quietly put his joint out and, to try and prove that he was just the same, moved to wrap his muscular arms around the vampire, effectively cocooning him. Sure, he was built differently and was nothing like he used to be... but that didn't mean he was necessarily worse than he used to be.

"See?" He began as he pulled back to smile down at the other. "I'm naturally warm these days and I'm kinda big so... so I'm just as good as I used to be."
