Golden City Prequels: Two Years Ago

If you want Elliot to be a part of Brulow's gang (to already "belong") then we should have him join up within hours of finding his way down here.

Otherwise we could conceivably have Brulow finding him now after a day or two of "independence" has left its mark.

Taking that thought a little further, there's no reason for Vazkho to immediately find Kitty's bar when he enters the Underground. Maybe we each have a micro-scene of a few posts running in parallel, with Vazkho experiencing the difference between the Land and the Underground (I'd really like to read about one of those elevator cars on camera - and find out what the sole operator of the one going down is like compared to the dozen or so going up!), Brulow showing how he talks a lost child into joining his little family and Kitty trying to cope with the Hound on her own.

Alright I love that idea! Have a couple posts each to set us up sounds like a good idea. Not too many of course cause roleplaying on your own is not quite as fun XD but I think in this situation it would be beneficial!

If no one else has, I'll aim to start the thread with the Kitty-Hound plotline then and linky you both to bring Elliot into it when you have a chance. :3

Yeah i figure a couple of posts of pure difference would accentuate just how out of his element Vazkho is in the Underground.
Ps. Im very inebriated right now so please forgive my lack of initiative.

No promises, but I may have been working on a drinking song since I first wrote her up.

@Pahn, very happy with Brulow's welcome early arrival.

@Snowflake, could you add some more description for Vazkho in your next post? Hair or eye colour would be wonderful, any distinctive features. Other than the cowl ^^

@Nemopedia, good point with the nicknames and anonymity. Joan and I were talking about the idea of this prequel being how she earned her nickname - is there a middle ground for the Inquisition? Happy to edit my post to "Miss C"?

Hmm, maybe she got a codename first and then switched to 'Wings' because it was so much more used? How does that sound to you both? Happy to hear more ideas.

If the FBI or CIA are notoriously Mr Smith or Agent Whatever, I'm suggesting the Cloaks (if they want to remain anonymous) refer to one another by a euphemismy name.

Ms Peeler in this case (if @Joan is happy with that?).

Hooray for the Pioneer's Ball!

Of course, that raises questions about these prequels too. My original intention was to wrap these up once the main roleplay was ready to launch and simply use them to give us a chance to work out back story and try our characters on for size. By that plan (and definitely what Shiz and I discussed) we could fill in the blanks from where we've gotten to and leap straight into the present.

Alternatively we could run one or more of the side plots a little longer before we do that - it depends on what we want to do.

What are you thinking people?

Aaaand hypehypehype for the main plot as it starts raising steam. ^^
