Banri attended to Kuni
Kazuko said something as she tried to help someone.
Setsuko attempted to pilfer something out of the boy's pockets before moving to help someone.
Then, Kuni bleeding out of her neck, seems to walk over towards her, not seeming to realize the extent of her injury.

"I'm sorry that you felt that you had to do this Forta. Don't... please don't... I'm sorry. You shouldn't have had to do this. You deserved better... you were just trying to help Yoshie-chan... but Hayato was right... she wouldn't have wanted this."

The first thing Nanashi wanted to say was for Kuni to worry about herself more, but probably, maybe her body still hadn't fully registered how she had her neck stabbed into. But, ultimately it was Banri and Kazuko who moved her back away from Nanashi to treat her.

A judgemental look from Laura. A bit like the kind that she had given them a month ago. Was she gloating?
It didn't matter anymore. Having the morale high ground didn't matter anymore. In this place none of that ultimately mattered. It didn't save Yoshie's life. So what was the point?

Nanashi, soaked in blood felt that realization. Kuuyari was right. There was no need to deny who you were. The impression the people of this class would have of her, would probably always be partially defined by this gruesome image of her after murdering someone.

She looked back down to the body under her. It was as if some sort of clawed animal had started attacked him. The maw in his bloodied chest was the stuff of nightmares. This was so terrible, She thought. Her mind was still disassociated from the shock of all that was happening.

Then Hayato approached. He said his piece. He talked about the mentality of killing someone. He pleaded with Nanashi to not lose her humanity over it. He had much to say. He definitely put a whole lot of thought into it... But as he walked away, her mind was only responding with perplexion.

Everything he said was absolutely wrong.
He didn't understand a thing.
As much as he had tried... even Nanashi in her dazed state could spot someone who was speaking in fake.

Hayato didn't understand a thing about her. No one here did.
She felt that they weren't hating her nearly as much as they should've been.
Why were they so forgiving?

Nothing had changed. She still was like this.
There was no need to be here anymore, sitting on this corpse. She had to leave.

It was at this moment, a couple of students with armbands and makeshift weapons rushed on past the others tending to Kuni and Ryuu's injuries. The immediately went for the most obvious culprit there. The girl with blue hair stained in blood and holding a dripping broken bottle.

"DROP THE WEAPON AND GET ON THE GROUND!"

Forta looked at them and didn't respond.

"DROP IT ON THE GROUND NOW!"

The three or four students incessantly repeated those same lines over and over. But Nanashi did not respond. There was a dazed look in her expression. No... that was what some of her classmates wanted to think. But, to the more cynical eye... it was a complete detachment from anything going on.

Absolute apathy.

"Please... Nana...." Ai pleaded silently from a distance.

"DROP YOUR WEAPON AND LAY ON YOUR BELLY!"
"DROP THE FUCKING WEAPON!"
"LAY ON YOUR BELLY!"

....
...
..

It was similar.
This scenario was very similar.

Approached by police with weapons drawn.
However, in this case, these were teenagers armed with makeshift melee weapons.
They didn't even have guns of any sort.

Above, on the walls however, there were men armed with rifles who would likely fire the moment she'd attack all of these people.

The bottle dropped onto the ground, plinking harmlessly into the dirt,

Nanashi raises her bloodied hands into the air, surrdendering.

"You students are first years right? Sorry for the late arrival. Thanks for using the Diciplinary Butai. While it's regrettable that you guys are injured, butai members like us are just glorified security guards who can't do crap about injuries unless somone happens to have medical experience. But, given what I see here... do carry on. Seem like y'all have it covered."

A girl with a ponytail and a distinctive star on her cheek walked on past them with a distinct air about her of... dominance.

"...Nnnngh!!"
The sharpened pole drive into the side of Nanashi's body. It.. hurt. it didn't hurt as badly as other things she'd experienced, but seeing it coming and having to brace for it made it all the more worse.

"Thank you so much for standing still for your punishment. And here I thought with all that blood on you, you'd be in the middle of trying to massacre everyone here. But, you've been able to come back to your senses, right?"

Fully registering the pain, Nanashi fought through the instinct to curl herself up to look to the smug looking girl on the other side of the pole.

"Kira. Thirteen Kai. Here to save the day from a piece of shit like yourself."

She twisted the pole. Sending bolts of pain throbbing into every part of the Female Murderer's body.

"You might notice I'm just a tad bit peeved. Y'know why? That dolt you just murdered was my boy-toy for this week and here you go fucking up my fun. Stupid bitch. I'll make you suffer for that before I kill you."

Was this it?
Yeah, this made a bit more sense.
She killed someone after all, so...
Of course in a place like this being killed was...

"...You're smiling? The hell? How gross! You some sort of Masochist!?"

Kira yanked their pole out of the accused, causing her body to drop onto the ground.

Ai fell to her knees as she covered her eyes, sobbing.

"No more! Please! No more of this!"

This was it wansn't it?
Nanashi, at this point, was going to...

Killing that boy just now was the only thing I've done right since I came here.
While Ryuu and and Kuni getting hurt was something I didn't want, being able to get that one thing right really fills me with with fulfillment.

Going now isn't too bad.
Leaving on a lighter note like this isn't all that bad.

Everyone... I'm sorry I couldn't become a hero like I said i'd be.

Sorry, Fuujin.
Sorry, Haruto.
Sorry, Tsukasa.
Sorry...

Hm.
Why...?
I can't remember...
Why can't I remember that one?

One of them is missing.
Why can't I...?!

"...Not yet...!"

The murderer began to struggle up from the ground. But for Kira, this was about it. Despite the promise to make her suffer, in truth having a Thirteen Kai go on an extended torture session was severely in bad taste in these times. She was already on thin ice as it was.

"I've lost it... Important. I need to....!"

"So much for coming back to their senses. She sounds delusional already. Farewell then, Murderer."

"I can't die... Having to forget...!"

Kira took their foot and stomped it into Nanashi's back.

"Right then. So just to make be clear, this was the one our operator was saying was trying to kill everyone, yeah? I mean, her being covered in blood kind of pretty much makes it self explanatory no?"

"I'd guess so too, Captain."

"Right then. Let's kill her off and be done with it then..."

Justice would be served it seemed. This was naturally how a killer would meet their end... at the hands of justice.

With their hands already tied up dealing with the other injuries, and the horror of finding out the extent of Nanashi's strength,
They chose to....

[ November 1st, Afternoon / Hisakawa Institution, Topside, Gardens ]

Fuka tried as hard as she could, but in the end, with Forta being so resolute, she couldn't stop her. Not even by sacrificing her own hand.

This entire scene was just a mess. Fuka felt lightheaded from all the sudden, horrific events and sights. Despite the incredible pain in her hand, her mind was too focused on a number of questions. She wandered closer to Kuni and Banri, gazing down.

"She'll survive, right?"

Then to Ryuu and Setsuko...

"Him too?"

...and finally to Forta...

She said nothing. Just stared, as a few drops of blood fell from her hand to hydrate the... 'plants.' It was a lot to process, and horrible to see, but similarly impossible to look away from.

Suddenly, the flood of disciplinary students poured in and surrounded them, forcing Fuka to step back a ways. Perhaps they saw her as another victim. She did look it. She even was, in a way.

Even throughout the torture scene, Fuka just stood and watched pensively. It was only when Kira finally raised her spear for the final blow that she finally reanimated and spoke up.

"Wait!"

She shouted, waving her nailed hand in the air and wincing from the pain of moving it around. At the very least, it was an effective attention grabber.

"She's not... I..."

What should she say? The evidence against her was overwhelming, and she couldn't think of any half-believable lie in any amount of time short enough.

But if the rumors about Kira were true...

"I-it was all a big mistake. She's innocent! His death was an accident.... and if you let her go, I'll offer myself as his replacement for the week! Even for the whole month, if you'd like..."

What was she doing...? She wasn't interested in 'that kind of thing,' and it could give her a pretty big reputation with those who were into it. But what else could convince this girl when she had such a personal grudge...?

Looking at Forta's broken body, and then back to Kira, Fuka summoned up all her willpower and grinned.

"It could be fun, right?"

Hayato only managed to make a few steps before students poured in. They shouted at Forta before another girl entered the scene, makeshift lance in hand. Hayato took out the phone that was in his pocket and fiddled with it. Then he put it back in his pocket and…

Watched.

Like Fuka, when Kira raised her weapon, Hayato's mouth opened. But Fuka was faster. When it seemed like she was finished, Hayato spoke, a displeased expression on his face.

"Hey, Fuka-san. It's pretty irreverent to lie about this. The fact is that Forta killed the boy with that intention in mind; it was no accident. To be dishonest about that fact is the same as spitting on Forta's decision. And to immediately offer yourself up as a toy for compensation makes your claim of Forta's innocence specious and not doing her any favors."

He then turned his eyes to Kira, his displeased expression replaced with a neutral one.

"There seems to be a misunderstanding here. Forta is not the one that was going on a rampage. It was the deceased boy. Forta may have gone too far, but she only did that after Ryuu-san and Kuni-san were attacked. If you don't believe me you can ask any of the others here."

Hayato sighed.

"So no more. If you still plan to kill Forta without a proper examination of the facts, I'll stop you. There has been enough suffering and pain for one day."[/fieldbox]

It didn't matter. It shouldn't matter. From the rumors, Laura had heard, the Kai weren't people who abused their 'power'. So was this truly just a misunderstanding like Hayato tried to clear up? No. Even with the scenery like that. With people like that. They couldn't be so stupid. The girl clearly enjoyed what she was doing. Twisted desires under the pretext of 'justice'. But... the guards saw everything, too, didn't they? So why didn't they? ... No. It couldn't be true. She didn't want it to be true. What did any of 'us' students even have for them to be worth it?!

For the white-hair, it mattered less that this noisy moron was about to kill someone else rather than that her action would imply a shattering Laura's illusion of having peace in this prison. Heh, it was pathetic, wasn't it? Being on the receiving end of what could be potential corruption. Was this supposed to be one of the lessons she should learn here? Screw that.

The blue-eye had to know exactly what kind of people she was dealing here with. "Hey, Twinkle Star. ...Kira, was it?" Laura now spoke up. "The only dead person here was already given clearance for execution by the guards. You know, these people with guns, who are currently watching all this?"

Laura pretended to think hard for a second, then again, she actually had to picture half of it in her mind precisely because she had turned her back at the most important moment. "You know, it's hard to remember for me right now. With the Trauma and all. How it went down exactly." Laura's voice made it clear that she was anything but traumatized though. "But don't worry. Given the right circumstances, I'm sure to remember the right thing." Her first real attempt at pretending to put herself out there to accept a bribe was way weirder than she had expected to be, not to mention the existing language barrier, but she had to know.

She realized that this was anything but being a peaceful bystander. In fact, it carried potential risk. But she had to know. This wasn't as easy as reading the Grundgesetz. There was no book to read the rules of this place. Here, as much as she hated to admit, she was powerless enough to risk her own well-being for the sake of a stable future.

"Kekeke! Your toy for the week was killed eh? Did you know he stole from one of ours which drove her ultimately to her Suicide? Of course you may not know of this.. but your position would hang on a thread with your Sempai for it."

Standing to her Feet with that distant hostile look to her eyes fixed on the star cheek, Kazuko was more than a little angry about this situation. "Between the sloth that runs your call line, arrival when it was already too late and picking such a buffoon for a toy, this is open for all to see, surely troubling for one so powerful." If the thief did have a boss for his orders it reasoned a bit it was she.. Though Kazuko could not say that directly.. Not outnumbered and unarmed, sheer weight of numbers were heavily against her.

Shrugging with her hands to the side, Kazuko didn't seem very phased by the Butai, or the fact the one in front of her was part of the Thirteen, though she was likely one of the few who knew that fact. "And here I was wanting to join your group to keep an eye on this chaos.." Kneeling down to check over Forta's wounds briefly, this was more than Kazuko could fix, hopefully that Banri fellow was worth his salt...

"A superior should lead by example, not personal feelings, I humbly ask you overturn your decision. I rather dislike this girl, among more than a few others, I am the one who called your office, the one who brought medical supplies here and ran from the 2nd floor. I can swear to you upon my word, that two of these injuries were caused by your toy, the nail girl was self inflicted and his death was his own doing in stupid overestimation of himself, all in self defense. Pray will you reconsider Butai Leader?"

Truth be told, this woman in her first impression was everything Kazuko hated about those who abused the authority they were given, and her so called allies were not helping.. This woman was more than a bit vain, reasoning would not be enough, clenching her jaw slightly she hated doing this, but she didn't want the punishment to spread, or one of these idiots angering her more. Getting to her knee's the Samurai like girl kowtows, bowing her head low.

"Exalted Member of the Ruling Thirteen, I in my humility must remind you of the position you are in, it is one of Service, not of Command. Please forgive these strays, I thank you for your assistance." Knowing who the girl was actually wasn't too big of a surprise, she had wanted to join them after all. But with the current leadership... This one had to be replaced or removed.. She was an idiot and overly vain.. Her own words had been biting with some praise but it was possible the others may worsen the situation... To grovel before such a person, it was enough to make bile run to her throat behind those angry eyes.

While a crazed bitch, Forta's commitment was commendable, this was the least Kazuko could do... But they would need a bit of a talk after this for sure, well provided Kazuko and the others survived this encounter..
Hopefully she could fight some of them if need be..or that Sempai fellow or Kagami were half as useful as people claimed them to be.. To speak out against such a superior, even laced with praise was a truly dangerous thing...

Life is funny, in a way. He wasn't Kuuyari, but he could see it all happening. It was inevitable. People steal. People give up. People give in to wraith. People plead. People protect. People kill.

The depressive mood that had settled had been less then optimal. He had been comforting to those that were effected by the passing. He had known her, talked to her and such. But comfort was best for others, in a way that was a better method to help himself.

"Oh dear." The scene was awful to watch. Needless violence. No one seemed to get the point of this place.

He stepped on something. "Oh, ear."

One dead, two injured. The garden ruined. He doesn't take action and look what happened. Perhaps this was partly his fault for not trying to stop this. Perhaps not, it didn't matter right now. He came to the front of the crowd, he had to say something.

"Forta only took a life to save others. He became a severe danger to all of us. So..."
Toru held his hands out as if weighing something. "Justified. But what you're doing, er, Kira. This isn't."

"You kill her and you sow distrust of the Butai into an entire class due to your own personal feelings. I doubt that is the goal of Sempai or the Butai is it. And, organisations like these..." Toru scratched his cheek, as if remembering something. "Postions are never permanent, are they? And there are some very gifted students coming in. Ones who wouldn't make such a silly mistake like this. You get me?" Toru stared, a newcomer in this chaos.

She was losing it. Totally losing it. And even if he had an inkling of an idea of what to do, he still didn't know how to stitch. Would cuts just heal naturally if you wrap them up? Would the blood clot by itself? He knew only the basics, and in this shitfest of a prison, of course there wasn't an actual medical person on hand. Even as he wrapped the gauze around her neck as tightly as he could, even as he applied as much pressure as he could without choking her in the process, it still wasn't enough. Kuni was growing pale, her thoughts were scattering, her voice softening.

And the cavalry, oh, those Butai fuckwads came and did NOTHING but aim at the wrong person. Fucking cucks, bitching about that bullshit when they were aiming at the wrong person. A venomous glare was shot in the direction of those bastard gangbangers, but Banri's hands were full. Had to keep applying pressure, had to keep her awake, had to get someone else to raid the medicine cabinet.

Even while every other one of his classmates chattered away meaningless, not lifting a fucking finger for anyone but themselves, thinking of them as legendary thespians while there were still injured. Trash. Every single one of them. Incapable of taking action by themselves, even when their minds were functioning with enough clarity to shit speeches from their assholes.

"Oi! RINNE!" Banri snapped, at the blue-haired 'defender of the weak' that had been swatted away by Forta, "STOP GAWKING AND GET YOUR ASS TO GEAR! MEDICINE! ALL YOU CAN GET FROM THE INFIRMARY! ESPECIALLY PAINKILLERS! RUN, BITCH!"

He sucked in a deep breath, before scrambling through the rest of the kit. Nothing useful but bandages to keep the gauze in place. With a sweep of his feet, the delinquent sent the kit over to Setsuko, before turning his attention back to Kuni. Sleep was dangerous here, wasn't it? Had to keep talking then. Calm himself.

"Uwa," he faked a groan, "Banri-sensei? I'm not that good. Even a monkey could do this much, yah know? And hey, just think of blood as tomato juice, Kuni, and you'll be fine. That's how all the gags work in anime, right? Ketchup and tomatos? And you're the person I'd want stabbed the least. Better to be standing than to be stabbed, really. Cause it looks like it really sucks."

A forced smile. Ugh, how did Ryuu and Takeshi do this crap?

"And flowers are super pretty. My favorite are red spider lilies myself. And please, you're gonna get in a lot of trouble if you sleep now, Kuni. Wouldn't it be better to at least bring a sleeping bag up here first and wait till it's night? Not that I know myself, but I bet the stars are real nice once the lights turn off. So hey, might as well wait for that first, eh? It's probably going to get super cloudy though, judging by those clouds over there, and autumnal rains are going to be a terrible situation for people without umbrellas, so…gotta wait for some time before your garden napping things, eh? Long enough that you can plant your favorite flowers here too, Kuni."

Really grasping at straws, wasn't he?

"Oh, what's your favorite anime?"

Really grasping at straws.

Huh? Your head went through blade slashes and metal pipes before, something like a bottle smash wouldn't.....

"Ara ara... If it is not miss Setsuko... I forgot you do look heavenly..."

Wait... you bastard, don't tell me.....

"Clearly, your hands are so magical it made my pain go away. Are you sure you are not an angel?"

You purposely feigned to be in pain just to deliver that line, didn't you?! And cut it out with that smile!

"... You have my deepest gratitude, miss Setsuko... Tis but a simple wound, but I am happy to be treated by someone like you..."

Oh! Big talk coming from someone whose legs were wobbly.
The bottle that hit your head was quite large, a 1.5 litre glass bottle, the size that would stun anyone silly.
Can you even hear your companions talking around you? Pretty sure most of them sound like static ringing now for you.

"... And there seems to be many people surrounding us now, would you kindly tell me about the commotion? I can hear miss Ai and miss Forta screaming..... Or perhaps, once you stopped my bleeding, would you support my shoulder for a few seconds later on? I would like to stand and see what is happening myself..."

*CLANG*
. . .

Everything that happened afterwards was a blur, Rinne remembered that she saw Ryuu knocked out. And then the thief moved to stab Kuni's neck. The scene seems to be so fast for Rinne, before Rinne could even react to that...

"Rinne....!" She heard Forta's voice and was immediately caught in a tackle that throws her body away. The strength of Forta was something that she couldn't match... Everything started to turn black for Rinne.
. . .

Darkness, it was darkness which slowly disappears, the image was still blurry. She couldn't make out much of the scenery around her. She could see some students tending the wounded, presumably her classmates... And then students with an armband threatening a blue haired girl to drop the weapon...

And now... One of them seemed to torture the blue haired girl, such injustice... it somehow gives Rinne strength to slowly get herself back up. Even if she couldn't listen or see clearly right now...
. . .

Rinne is now standing, although her stance seems to be a bit dazed. She looked around herself...

"Oi! RINNE! STOP GAWKING AND GET YOUR ASS TO GEAR! MEDICINE! ALL YOU CAN GET FROM THE INFIRMARY! ESPECIALLY PAINKILLERS! RUN, BITCH!"

Rinne turned her attention to Banri, but she knows that there was an injustice that was needed to be dealt with. She turned back to the scene where a student wearing an armband is torturing the blue haired girl.

"Y..ou..." She pointed to the one holding the spear. "S...uffer....Th...Wrat..." She said in a rather weak voice that probably wouldn't be heard. She then started to run towards that person.

But she instantly flopped back down to the ground

An angel? Her? Feeling heat rise to her cheeks, Setsuko was instantly reminded of why she disliked the guy.
Ryuu-kun was slick, she'd give him that, even trying to flirt as he was lying injured, but if he thought he could win her over with compliments, he was wrong. Especially when she didn't doubt he would have used the same line for any other girl.

"Just lay still, okay?" she told him as she pressed the alcohol drenched cotton swab on his bleeding head, debating whether to tell him to stop talking too. There was a lot happening around them right now, and with her hands stained by both the dead guy's and Ryuu-kun's blood, the last thing she needed was a heap of hollow compliments to distract her. A part of her hoped the dead guy had been carrying some kind of blood transmitted disease, which she would now transmit to her patient, but she quickly swatted that thought away.
However much she disliked the guy, the fact was that after this, he would owe her. And she wouldn't really have very much use of being owed something of a corpse.

Trying to ignore the commotion and focus on treating her patient proved to be a much harder challenge than Setsuko had first though, and she flinched at the horrifying sound of flesh being pierced, trying to keep her hands steady as she fumbled to cut pieces of medical tape.

"Th-the Butai is here now", she told Ryuu, hoping that would answer his question. "And... and people are arguing and Nanashi-san is stabbed..." And Rinne had fainted and Kuni was bleeding out and Fuka was playing martyr and Kazuko was pleading and there were talk about killing Nanashi and if they did, Setsuko was out of here before they got to her too.
Swallowing, Setsuko wrapped some bandage over her make-shift compress as tight as her shaking hands would let her, preparing for the worst.

Forta_Ico.jpg

[ November 1st, Afternoon / Hisakawa Institution, Topside, Gardens ]

The girl impaled on the nail presented an offer of offering 'herself' to make up for the lost 'toy' was mostly met with deaf ears. Like the musings of some mumbling old man in the background. Though, at least one of the Butai Members visibly blushed and looked off to the side to hide their expression.

The plain looking boy, Hayato, on the other hand, spoke in Forta's defense. His final ultimatum was that he wouldn't allow Forta to die. Another girl with snow white hair and blue eyes also spoke, more or less implying that the person who needed to die was already stopped by the guards in the tower.

A girl with a sharp gaze and a boy with milder such features also reasoned that Forta ultimately acted in self defense after the now-deceased boy lashed out. Having been the one to injure the two now being treated. They also reminded her of her position as on of the Kai, and representative of the Butai.

Kira paused. It was only when the plop made by a girl with blue hair collapsing that she finally responded back. Her eyes were directed towards Kazuko.

"That's not the distress call I was called in for. The operator informed me that there was a girl who was actively chasing him down with malicious intent and he feared for his life. We tried to track down where his call was and found this..." Kira said as she pulled out something from her pocket. "His cell phone, and a frantically formed trail of tracks that lead me here."

Kira then opened the phone and looked through it. She scanned over everyone, and looked down to Forta under her foot.

"...You guys remember that whole 'escort fee' that we charged you at the beginning? That little thing is what covers the expenses of the Butai. Basically, if you pay that, you pay for our services to protect you from harm in this school. By some miracle, this murderer here seems to have not paid for that fee."

Forta, winced in pain. But, she could remember...

"Also. My friend Fuka will pick up the cost of the escort."

So, that came back to haunt her after all, then.

"So in other words. Someone under our protection - the boytoy - was murdered by someone outside of our protection. This was a failure on the part of the Butai, but considering what I've just seen this girl do just now... I think it would be in the best interests of the general student population that she be removed. Grudge or not, she's dangerous."

"...I just wanted to...!"

"Of my darling, YOU HAVE!"

Raising her foot, Kira dug her heel down into Forta's back once more.

"Nuuaaagh!"

"You've managed to cause one big mess here and did a damn fine job of it!"

"So then... enlighten me bystanders. I'd bet you people with those idealistic notions are a part of the same class, one of the ones who came in right?"

It's like my life is pouring away...
If I keep on bleeding out freely like this... I won't make it.

The bottle.
Yes, the bottle is already broken. If I can just reach it and take hold of it, I can even the odds, even outnumbered.

I can't die.
I don't want to!
I can't!

Anyone paying attention could see Forta struggling for the bottle she had dropped in the ground. She was desperately reaching for it, Centimeter by centimeter, like it was her only hope for survival.

Kira, with a scornful smile, hovered her lance over Forta. She was in complete control, even as the girl was reaching for her only answer to escape this alive. But, a second drive of that lance through her body, would kill Forta before her fingers ever reached that bottle.

"Could you bunch look at me in the eyes and tell me this blood soaked girl won't be a danger to anyone in the future? Come on and say it to my face while she's reaching for her murder weapon to kill all of us! I DARE YOU!"

Right now, Forta in her desperation was only giving Kira's words credence. If she died here, no one would blame Kira or the Butai for putting this criminal down. There had to be a way out of this. No more blood, no body else had to die. Even if it was a gamble, there had to be a way to avoid more bloodshed...!

Hayato made one step towards her, but then stopped when Kira started to speak. He said nothing and watched with a neutral expression on his face. After taking one last glance at Rinne's body, he moved closer towards Kira and Forta.

"No. I can't guarantee that."

Hayato paused, then continued. He was now next to the bottle that Forta was reaching to grasp.

"But doesn't that go for all of us? Aren't we all here because we posed a danger to society? Yet, we were given a chance and brought here."

He bent down and picked up the bottle. He gave it a look over, then...

Threw it towards an empty space. When it hit the ground, it shattered into pieces.

"Can't you tell that she's struggling? Just like that boy was. A cornered animal will be desperate. So please, just stop. Let's talk. If you go ahead with murdering Forta, you're basically admitting you're the same as her. She won't kill us. So please, just get off of her for now."[/fieldbox]

She wasn't buying it. Kira wasn't buying any of it. Not the several flavors of lies, nor her own offer.

Fuka felt a full range of emotions: relief at no one taking her offer, embarrassment at having made it in the first place, the pain of her hand. But the strongest by far, was the anger at being ignored, and the fearful tension as Kira gave one, final chance.

Fuka quickly pulled out her phone and flew through the menus with the one, right hand that could still do so.

I should let her die...

Life would be better without murderers.
I don't need to go so far for someone like that...

It'd be bad.
They might even take my tiny 'room.'
I should just walk away.

She's hopeless.
I wasted my time coming here.

...

Clicking her phone off, Fuka turned to walk away, but paused after a few steps, shaking her head.

Why can't I do it...?

...

Her determination.
Her protective spirit.

It reminds me of her...

...of my closest friend.

Spinning around again, Fuka unlocked her phone, striding forward to extend it past Hayato and straight into Kira's face.

Funds Transferred
Fuka —> Kira
1,000 credits

(Fuka's Prosperity dropped to 0)

"She's about as dangerous as I am, and I'd like to buy her. That should be more than enough to put her 'under your protection,' right? She won't kill anyone else; I guarantee it."

Fuka glared back at Kira, dead serious.

"In fact, I'll stake my own life on it."

There was a logic to Kira's actions, but Kazuko could not just let her be for now. Rising to her feet, to stare the other in the eye, Kazuko shrugs. Though the girl seemingly only heard what she wanted to hear.. A mark of a bad leader in some ways..

"You are right, they are from that class, it's more often infuriating than not. You also are equally right, there is no way we can promise this for 100%, but I am willing to keep an eye out for her.. Unlike your people however I am unarmed, and while strong she does edge me out a bit.."

She wasn't quite sure what to make of this leader. She was rather blood thirsty, but she had a reasoning to it, even if cloaked in her own personal wants. Then of course the other two had to come in on this. "Fuka! We don't have Slavery here! And it's not about the money alone! It's a matter of principle, Forta has to be the one to pay.. This is why she doesn't have the protection in the first place, you are only repeating the same mistake and if you can buy her then you buy any crime she does from here on, you die with her!"

More so her promise of a guarantee, Fuka could not hope to enforce that. Then there was Hayato, with his words of kindness and smashing the bottle, which could end up causing more harm than good.. "Hayato...she very well might be the same, more than a couple of us here may be the same. That is a lesson you should learn and soon.. before the prison teaches it to you."

Turning her attention back to Kira the girl sighs a bit before shaking her head. "This is what I have to deal with fairly often, and part of why you should spare her. These idiots will not stop so easily..Either way I don't think she's out to kill us so much as you.. I cannot promise she will not kill again, only that I'll do all in the power that is allowed to me to stop her if I am around.."

Or at least to keep such things out of public, she thinks but does not add out loud, either way this whole situation had gotten too far out of hand, but this was going to happen from the moment Forta decided to kill him in a public space, or had he gotten away from her previously.. Thought she could not find it in herself to argue against Kira's words past a point, Forta was dangerous and it was wiser to put her down now. These bonds of friendship that the others went on about were problematic..

Either way Forta's bloody rampage and freakish strength was more than enough cause to justify putting her down.. Minus one small fact. The guards had shot the boy, but someone else could point that out, more importantly Forta needed medical care..but did she? While she would not challenge the narrative of self defense, that she herself had helped set, the fact is Forta really had wanted to kill this guy. If the others had not even been there she would have still killed him and still have been laying face-down in a pool of her own blood...

Misunderstanding, brought from this prison's resistance to explaining something fully.

Still, Forta didn't pay her fee. Which was somewhat irritating. It didn't change much, he already had his opinion. Still, it gave food for thought on this scenario.

Hayato kept to his pleading, Toru couldn't fault him for that. Fuka offered to pay for her life. An interesting proposition that she had already jumped to make a reality. The morals of it were of course, down in the gutter. But the intent and the need for no more bloodshed outwayed any possible ramifications.

Kazuko shot out her opinion. Toru flexed his hand behind his back. "We''re the clueless idiots?"

How tiring.

"That's another one of your reason executions gone now. You can read the mood right. The one that is against your actions. So please follow our wishes. Stop this"
He spoke out, before turning around.

"Just get it fucking over with already." He hissed under his breath. Who cares whether or not it was deserved. Forta couldn't die yet.

But still, a place where he was more use then standing there called for him.

Toru sighing quietly, knelt down to Rinne who was busy giving justice to the dirt. "You awake?" He gave her a light slap on the cheek. "You got knocked pretty hard on the head. Hold still, justice can't do much concussed." He chuckled quietly to himself. "Blindless action is worse then waiting. Now, does it hurt anywhere else?"

A sigh.

His hands bloodied, Banri wiped his brow with his arm instead. The injury was more or less patched up at this point, though he couldn't recommend that Kuni move around much afterwards. Not until the wound scabbed over, at least. It wasn't going to be pretty, and it was definitely going to leave a scar, but…he did what he could. If there was medical support, they could fix her up afterwards. If there wasn't she was going to have to live with it.

And now…now it was just the fury and the hatred as another one of his friends bled, while everyone attempted to parley for mercy, using words when such things should have been tossed out the window. Wasn't Fuka a shit-stirring psychopath? Isn't there where she plunged that rusty nail into that Butai butch's face, took her spear, and fucked them all up? Didn't Toru CHOKE A RINNE OUT for less? And Kazuko, that honorless, hopeless slut, just trying to play both sides and suck the futa dick of that Butai polethruster all the while.

Fucking cowards, the lot of them. Some psycho bitch had already injured and humiliated the person that saved them, that decided to take up all the crime and punishment for avenging Yoshie, Ryuu, and Kuni, and here they were, using words to stay a safe distance instead.

And he was doing the same, wasn't he?

Taking care of Kuni so he had an excuse for not getting involved.

Even as Forta began to devolve into the same survival instincts that the dead fucking thief had.

Even as she continued to bleed and bleed and bleed and he had no idea what words to say now. Nothing but fury and nothing but seething rage. First aid kit wasn't heavy enough, but there were scissors, metal ones. Needles and thread, mainly the needles. But most importantly…

The face.

Always the face first.

Dark eyes smoldered as Banri stood beside Kuni, still watching. Still unmoving.

Do you cross?
>Yes

>No

Even though things were pretty hazy, Kuni still almost jumped when the Butai showed up. Kuni wante to follow the orders they were shouting, but ultimately she had neither a weapon nor was she able to lay on the ground. But Nanashi was, and facedown in blood and some gore. Kuni briefly recognized it was blood, but pushed it out of her mind almost immediately, listening to what Banri said.

It's just tomato juice. It's all just tomato juice. It has to be.

Kuni would do anything to keep her stomach from churning any further at the thought.

Banri helped, his trying to keep up the conversation between her and him going. Kuni tried to remember what she'd learned about flowers, what each of them meant. Red Spider Lily had meant something along the lines of loneliness or was it abandonment?

"I like Shion flowers, or Aster Tataricus. They're not super complicated flowers, or particularly pretty. But I like to think there's a meaning in that. Though... I think that I like how Acacia and Red Spider Lilies look together. Something fitting about that."

But she let him ramble on. Then it hit her.

"Hahaha, this is the longest I think you've talked Banri-chan! Haha!"

Her laughter died as she realized that he was looking at the other situation unfolding. Kuni's mind was hazy, but she knew how to tell something horrible was happening. Kuni had to do something. She wouldn't just stand by and watch.

"Everyone! This isn't really the time to be squabbling. If we can, we should all try to find more medical help and get everyone stabilized first," Kuni stood up from where she had fallen, letting Banri help her.

Had she fallen? She didn't remember. Whatever, she had to stop the fight. The fight over... Nanashi? Money?

"Even if there is someone already dead, there's no point in arguing so much that more people die. We're all arguing over whether or not we should care what happens next and Butai-chan is..." shoot. Her head had been swimming so much that she didn't know what was going on. "Butai-chan is mad that the thief died. Acting out right now seems right, but you should help people first and foremost. Weren't you all supposed to protect us? Or were you lying to scare us into paying you money?"

Her wound was open again, or at least the bandages had started leaking.

Sorry, Banri-chan, you told me not to move but I can't sit by either.

Would they believe her?

"You awake?"

Rinne opened her eyes slowly and met with a light slap, it was still a blurry sight. Rinne immediately hold her forehead and closed her eyes to hold the pain that were buzzing in her head.

"You got knocked pretty hard on the head. Hold still, justice can't do much concussed."

Rinne opened her eyes again, her vision is less blurry than before. She looked at the guy who were tending to her, Toru for a while before turning her sight to the scenery where it still doesn't change much... Other than there were other students seeming to beg to not have the blue haired girl killed. Rinne was about to try to stand up before...

"Blindless action is worse then waiting. Now, does it hurt anywhere else?"

Rinne turned to Toru once again. "I'm fine." She said as she attempt to stand up. But she immediately felt pain on her right shoulder. "Hnnngh... Forta sure got me hard..." She said as she held her right shoulder. "But don't worry girl strangler, it takes more than this to stop me... Hnnnh." She continued even with the pain that she felt.

"Oi!" Rinne yelled as she looked at the red haired student with the spear. "You... Nnnh-- A Disciplinary Butai member?" She talked as loud as she can so the redhead can hear. "Are you trying to protect us by killing that girl!?" She yelled out once more. "Because if that is so... Then we're not feeling protected by what you're going to do right now." Rinne knew that she couldn't go against them physically, not after getting hit by a very stiff tackle and also possibly getting herself a concussion.

"She's one of us... Even if everyone don't see things the way she seen things. Even if we don't approve what she did... She's still one of us."

[ November 1st, Afternoon / Hisakawa Institution, Topside, Hallway ]

The last month had been particularly horrible for Aster. He'd made of lot of enemies and screwed a lot of people over, but it was all an honest accident, not that his classmates cared about that detail other than a few select individuals he referred to as friend whether they wanted to be as such or not to a plague such as him. Though he told himself he had friends he still went through great lengths to avoid them all. He didn't want to get into any confrontations or be met by the disgusted looks he knew would be his greetings so things worked out for everyone involved. For four weeks he was able to live a quiet existence on the edge of the new world he belonged to, treading carefully and becoming part of the scenery. No one casted him a second glance other than the usual ones he got for how he looked and the cogs that kept the school functioning continued to move without him getting caught within them and getting gnashed, along with the others around him, to bits. It was lonely but it was better that way, at least until today.

Aster stood inside the school by the doors that lead outside watching the events at the gardens unfold. Everything happened so fast he was barely able to process what he saw. Blood was spilled, Humans fell, and a sharp breeze of air rushed past him as a gaggle of Butai members went to dispense peace. No... They weren't doing that at all, they were only adding to chaos. They wanted to kill Forta. The others were trying to convince the leader to spare her life but he knew their pleas were only falling deaf on her ears. She wasn't going to kill her because she was trying to enforce rules or for principles but rather because she wanted to. He was sure her cry for revenge was just a convenient excuse as well. No matter what their reasoning or logic behind the situation he knew one thing for sure: Forta would die. The butai's mind was hell bent on the notion and if anything his classmates pleading were amusing to her. She was taking her time on finishing the deed because the soapy sentiments were just that hilarious.

Aster pulled out his phone and opened the camera app, selecting the strange filter before taking a picture of Forta. He didn't need whatever the filter was to see the obvious but if there was 'good' subject to photograph in front of him that could confirm his suspicions on its function he wouldn't pass it up. He slipped the phone into his jacket pocket while he waited for it to process the photo and looked once more the scene playing out in front of him. Even though he knew she would die he could still try to make an appeal if only to earn points with his classmates and lessen their opinions of him. He doubted it'd do much unless he could actually convince her not to murder Forta. Could he? What could he possibly do to change her mind? Maybe he could offer the same as Fuka since she might not have swung that way. He would really rather not though, unless....

'Forta!'

Aster burst through the doors into the gardens, nearly tripping over the doorway medium in the process. He kept running until he reached the center of the storm of chaos, were Kira stood on Forta with a spear poised, ready to impale her. He threw himself at the ground as his chest racked with sobs. He reached up and grabbed her legs, his eyes spilling large wet tears as if she was a benign god he was asking for mercy from.

'Please don't kill her! If- if you do then you'll be declaring war on the entire student body and they'll kill you too!' Aster pleaded. Though he sounded like a sniveling wreck he did speak the truth: If she killed Forta all the students in the gardens would avenge her. He wasn't exactly sure why they cared so much about her but it didn't matter, as long as he put on a show regardless of if she died or not he'd earn a little bit of favour with some of them.

'Please! She's our friend and we can't- we won't see her taken away from us! We'll do anything to protect her! I'll do anything!'

That's what it always came down to, didn't it? Being as pathetic as possible and for what?

"Ah, an argument it is, no wonder they are all so lively... and Nanashi is... what? I apologize, miss Setsuko, I hear ringing in my head..."
Letting out a chuckle and flashing another Smile, Ryuu tried to stay still while Setsuko was bandaging his head.
It seems that his head wound has temporarily affected his hearing, as Ryuu would sometimes reach his temple with a slight wince.

"... but now with the Butai members here, they will surely take care of the rest and we can all go back... perhaps they will indict the rest of his gang too..."
as Ryuu prattled on, Setsuko simply focused on finishing her job, her shaking hands worked as fast as they could.

In just a few minutes later, a snapping sound on Ryuu's head signaled the end of Setsuko's job.
A quick makeshift work of gauze, nothing too special, but it effectively stopped the bleeding on Ryuu's head.
"Ah, this is quite good. Thank you, miss Setsuko, that was a such pleasant experience having you treat my wound"

Flashing yet another smile to Setsuko, Ryuu tried to do a quick check of his motor skills while slowly sitting up.
Fingers, toes, hands, legs, shoulders, all okay. Even the pain and ringing in his head has dissipated as he gently shook his head.
As he rose to his feet however, Ryuu was soon greeted with a sight not of this world.
Forta has a stab wound and is on her knees with a lady of unknown origin stepping on her back.
The thief seems to be lifeless, a big gunshot wound and chunks of glass sticking out his throat.
Rinne is down, Toru on her side tending to her wounds.
Fuka has blood all over her hands and is trying to negotiate for Forta's along with Hayato and Kazuko.
Kuni is drenched with blood, eyes seemingly blurry and breathing abate as she tried to scream with all her might.
Aster came in out of nowhere and begged for the unknown lady to spare Forta.

In just a few seconds after scanning his surroundings, the smile that usually adorned Ryuu's face was nowhere to be seen.
His face was not angry, not sad, and no painful winces. It was a straight face devoid of emotions, cold even.
That smile of his returned as he looked back at Setsuko and gave her a slight pat on the head,

"You did a good job..."
and slowly walked towards the rest of the people defending Forta herself,
"It's going to be okay, believe in miss Forta"

"Now..... What to do...?"

There are numerous options one can take at this point of time. What will Ryuu do?

---ROLL FAILED---

"..... Hmmm... It really is impossible to ask her to become a maid for the cafe huh? I am pretty sure sadistic girls are becoming popular nowadays.... Oh well..."

"Could you bunch look at me in the eyes and tell me this blood soaked girl won't be a danger to anyone in the future? Come on and say it to my face while she's reaching for her murder weapon to kill all of us! I DARE YOU!"

As the unknown lady uttered those words, Ryuu stopped on his tracks and lets out a hearty smile with a few chuckles here and there, seemingly amused by her words,

"Ara ara... "Kill all of us"? What are you saying, miss? How can a lovely heroine of justice such as miss Forta be able to do that? Surely you jest! From my perspective, you, miss, are more capable to "kill all of us" here, but still, you are far too cute a lady for such a horrifying act"
