Sometimes, when you're feeling down about stuff, and when living through each day feels like a chore -- it helps to remember that the Doctor Who Christmas Special is now very quickly approaching.
 
It's been a whole week and I have not missed a single pill or shot, and I haven't cheated even the tiniest bit. If I keep this up, I should be down 5lbs by my next appointment and I'll only have to go every three months instead of every month! It kind of helps that my appetite is nonexistent, but I did resist the urge to cheat today, so that's definitely progress. Now just to get over the damn nasty side effects and I'll be golden!

I've been drawing more often on the regular and my grasp of anatomy has gotten a little better each time.

I figured it out. I've had a villainous character for years and never could figure out why he was the way he was. I mean his family has always had unique morals, but he is a step more twisted and bitter than the rest of them. It's always plagued me that I didn't know why he thinks the way he does and what specific thing in his past made him into this monster.

I get it now. Or rather, I have a grasp on it. He had the two most important people in his life ripped away from him at a young age and he's projecting that agony onto other people. Which sounds like a duh now, but a lot has happened in this kid's life, so it was hard to pinpoint his tipping point. This is huge.

I usually cheatsy-doodle with my friend's PS4 to play Overwatch because I'm too poor to get one of my own, plus Overwatch, plus PSN membership. His brother left his PS4 at his place and his physical copy of Overwatch so I was able to play with more of the house members. It was so much fun. <3 And I got to try out the FFA Deathmatch mode. I won my very first round, feels good man!

There's a couple of rings I've had for over ten years. One I found in the yard of the house we'd just moved into after leaving what'd felt like home. It's the One Ring from Lord of the Rings, but really faded. The other is a high school class ring from the same state, the place I've lived the longest to date for almost seven years. The schools there were some of the worst experiences of my life, but I... the town itself and the people were the nicest. I've had that ring for around 4 or 5 years I think.

Yesterday I lost both of them. I know it's just jewelry but I have such an emotional connection to both of them. I'd went all over town retracing my steps, some places I had to come back to so they had time to look. And, she. This amazing woman found both of them. I'm not the best at socializing, but I sincerely hope that my gratitude came across to her. I ended up having a tearful episode in the building's restroom almost immediately after. I can't believe my rings were so close to being gone forever, and that someone not only found them but also returned them.

I got all four of the Champion Amiibos! yay Nintendo for doing another damn printing! Now if only we could get more smash amiibos...... and stop the store exclusive crap! Still, it's a win!

Puppies.

Lots and lots of puppies.

Almost everyone we're visiting so far on this trip has at least one dog, if not more, and they love to sit by my feet/on my feet or lap and I love it.

Honestly?? I'm glad it's already December. Because 2017 can go fuck itself with a rusty knife.

I'm glad my younger brother called me and told me more about himself. :) I always thought he would be closed off to telling me how he felt, but he's proved me wrong.

I got my passwords back. Thank god. I may have to re-create my video game database but I don't fucking care! I recovered my passwords and product keys. I'm okay now!
