Klark Graeme | Lead Doctor | Gabriel Research and Rehabilitation Center

An emotionless expression scanned the small pad passed on from a nurse before a small yet friendly smile grew on his lips. "Thank you, Miranda, bring the new patients up after inprocessing. I'm sure they are quite eager to begin, and I am not one to waste time." The man said in a calm tone, handing the pad back and turning towards the work at hand. Taking notes over his previous sessions with each patient, the doctor was quite meticulous with details. After completing what he had previously been doing, Graeme turned to leave his office and walk down the pristine white hallways of his facility. The Gabriel as he liked to call it, seeing as the full name was a hassle. The man did not look like much as he walked, despite carrying himself with confidence and uniform without even a wrinkle. He was aging into his late 40's, with wisps of gray starting to show in his otherwise brown hair. For a few moments, he wondered how his staff was holding up lately, it had been so long since he had been able to check in on them. Other projects eating away at his time. Turning a couple of corners in rapid succession, the man strolling into a staff-only room. All around employees stared at various monitors and computers, controlling every aspect of the facility.

It was here that the man's presence was truly shown. As the moment he entered, everybody snapped to a crisp salute and waited for permission before returning to their assigned tasks at hand. "How is everything looking, Jones?" He asked a heavyset man in what was clearly a guard's uniform. The guard gave a quick salute before answering the doctor's question. "Everything seems fine, sir. Nothing to report." He said as the doctor nodded. That was good, he liked it to be peaceful. Everybody could continue their work, and nobody would end up getting hurt. With that done, Klark made his rounds around the room, checking on status' of various groups within the facility. Everything seemed to be running smoothly as they waited for their newest patients to arrive. Others, who needed to learn what it meant to be human again. Others, who if left to their own would cause chaos and ruin among the world. Who needed control. With a small sigh, he cleared his head and took a seat in the center of the room, specifically reserved for himself. "Lets get started, shall we?" He said, leaning forward to eagerly watch the screen before him.[/fieldbox]

Inprocessing Staff | Inprocessing Center

The work to prepare for the newcomers was underway. A hall which held multiple different rooms stood empty in anticipation for those would walk the halls. In each, an assortment of medical equipment surrounded a chair similar to what might find if they went to get bloodwork done. In each, a young nurse waited for the patients who would soon be arriving. Everything was in place, and nurses spent the idle time cleaning their tools to make sure everything was ready to go.

The first to arrive on the island, Noah Sheffield, was welcomed by a tall, handsome man in a clean suit. Once dropped off by the ferry which carried her to the island, he was already waiting. As she got off, a trio of other men moved in to take care of her luggage for her. "Ms. Sheffield? We are glad you came to us. The Gabriel Insitute welcomes you. If you could come with me, we can get you processed and a room. I imagine the journey here was a bit tiring." He said with a friendly tone. Without another word, he began heading into the island. The island itself wasn't very large, no more than ten miles across. In the center, stood a single floor facility that didn't particularly look large. Nothing about the facility itself stood out, instead just a plain building as one might see in the city. Before long they arrived at the entrance, still nothing unique as they entered the pristine white hallway. "You'll be in this room." He said, opening the nearest door on the left. Instead, the nurse gave a friendly wave and gestured towards the seat. Rustin and Jeremy would arrive not long after and have similar guides bringing them into their own rooms in the hall.

Ellodi
Once Ellodi was in the room, the kind nurse introduced herself as Katherine Kuznestov, and had a heavy Russian accent that made her a bit difficult to understand. A striking blonde, Katherine was the kind of woman who drew looks whenever she went out. She first led Ellodi through a series of rather basic tests. Weight, height, blood pressure, the sorts which were a standard affair for a visit to the doctor. Explaining that they had to build a profile for the girl before they could admit her into the facility. As a way for them to have a benchmark to measure her health against throughout her stay at Gabriel. She would also answer any questions about the treatment Ellodi would have, keeping everything in a positive light so as to keep the girl at ease. With that out of the way, she had Ellodi sit in the chair, prepping an IV as she explained they would need to take her blood, and run a scan on the girl identify the nature of her abilities. Hooking up the IV, and starting to draw a bit of blood, the woman looked towards Ellodi. "So, Noah is it? Your profile says that you manifested some... empathetic abilities? Could you tell me what those are? How they manifested? This is so we know what sort of treatment we must give you." The woman said, walking over to pick up a clipboard and pen as she waited for the responses.

She would scribble the notes about whatever Ellodi told her, including whether it was a lack of information or not. A friendly expression kept on her face the entire time. After a brief conversation, Katherine brought her hands together, indicating an end to their chat. "Alright, let's get the scan out of the way and get you onto your room, shall we?" She said, moving a machine which looked a lot like an X-ray machine down from overhead. "This will take pictures of your brain and your body. So we can compare and see what has changed. Just sit still so we can get a proper image, alright? Wear this vest as well, it blocks the imaging, so we only get pictures of the target." She explained as she draped a heavy verst onto Ellodi's shoulders. "I'm going to step out to activate the scan, I'll be right back sweetheart." She said before stepping out. Moments later, Ellodi saw a bright flash from the scanner followed immediately by the world fading into black as she passed out, into a land of dreams or whatever her mind might conjure.

One down.

Rustin
At the same time as Ellodi, Rustin was also experiencing his inprocessing appointment. In the room, the kind nurse introduced herself as Katherine Kuznestov, and had a heavy Russian accent that made her a bit difficult to understand. With that out of the way, she had Rustin sit in the chair, prepping an IV as she explained they would need to take his blood, and run a scan on the boy identify the nature of his abilities. Hooking up the IV, and starting to draw a bit of blood, the woman looked towards Rustin. "So, Rustin is it? Your profile says that you manifested an ability to move quite fast, super speed you said? Could you tell me what exactly you mean? How it manifested? This is so we know what sort of treatment we must give you." The woman said, walking over to pick up a clipboard and pen as she waited for the responses.

She would scribble the notes about whatever Rustin told her, including whether it was a lack of information or not. A friendly expression kept on her face the entire time. After a brief conversation, Katherine brought her hands together, indicating an end to their chat. "Alright, let's get the scan out of the way and get you onto your room, shall we?" Moments later, Rustin saw a bright flash from the scanner followed immediately by the world fading into black as he passed out, into a land of dreams or whatever his mind might conjure.

Could you tell me what exactly you mean? How it manifested? This is so we know what sort of treatment we must give you." The woman said, walking over to pick up a clipboard and pen as she waited for the responses.

She would scribble the notes about whatever Jeremy told her, including whether it was a lack of information or not. A friendly expression kept on her face the entire time. Three Down.

Another door closed at the end of the hall, and a fourth Katherine stepped into the hall. Looking at each other,
they spoke in creepy unison, not even a microsecond of from each other. "Targets stowed,
sending to Gabriel."
Before a pressing a button next to each door. Immediately after the wall across from them opened up to reveal four charging ports. Then androids stepped into their ports, and promptly shut down, as the wall slid back over them.[/fieldbox]

Asuka 'Ai' Maki | Unknown

Hers was not a restful sleep. Following being escorted in by that dashing young man, and the appointment with the kind nurse Asuka did not rest easy. Nightmares plagued every moment of her unconscious mind. Scenes of the devastation she had caused, but the body changed. Various boys and girls who had stolen her heart over the years, her grandparents, mom, dad, and the worst of them all; Koji. Her own little brother, dead at her hands. She could see his frail frame laying among the rubble, broken by the will of her own panicked mind. She lunged towards the body, she needed him to live. "Koji!" She cried, surprised when eyes suddenly flew open and she found not Koji before her, but a plain white ceiling. Not even made of plaster or anything nice, a plain steel bulkhead. Scoffing, she sat up, only to yelp out in surprise when she looked down. Her outfit was.... horrid! A plain black jumpsuit and it was baggy! She had nothing that would go with this! Getting out of the bunk, Asuka yelped as she fell to the floor, not having expected a bunk bed. Getting up she whimpered in pain, now angry at this damn place. They would definitely be hearing from her lawyers. The nerve to have faulty equipment that knocked her out like that, then putting her in a bunk bed. The nerve.

Searching for her phone, the girl soon realized that it was gone, and the small note notifying her that electronics weren't allowed. At that moment a piece inside of her died. How was she expected to survive? She had to maintain her Instagram! Her twitter! She was going to lose followers, and Asuka felt utterly mortified by it. What kind of inhuman treatment was this! Turning to storm out of the plain room, she noticed that there simply was... no door. Leading into a common room with a single bookshelf, housing some books she couldn't tell what they were. A couch, a table with six chairs around it, and along the back wall seemed to be the bathroom. A single sink, and two stalls for the toilets. The showers were little more than shower heads sticking over the tiled floor, no privacy. Realization number two came shortly after, there were three others in the room with her. Two boys, and a...

The girl dashed to the other female in the room, shaking her a little aggressively. "ELLODI!? IS THAT YOU!?" Asuka practically shouted, recognizing the other girl from her private show at Ellodi's private school. She had needed to room with the girl, and over the night the two became quite friendly with each other. To the point that Asuka had kept in regular contact with her, and Ellodi had recevied VIP tickets to any of the shows that happened to be nearby. "WAKE UP! These bastards put me in this ugly monkey suit! Put me in a bunk bed like some animal! They even took my phone!" She said, words spilling out at a frantic rate as she began to panic.[/fieldbox]

[fieldbox= Jeremy, #44AA44]
Jeremy arrived at the island with a lot of hope. He wanted to get this whole thing done and over with and get back to his schooling as soon as possible. He nodded to the person welcoming him and then looked at the others taking his stuff. He spoke a little more quietly than he normally would, after all he was here out of fear that he would endanger someone "Hi, yeah. Glad to be here, I guess." He trailed off slightly, seeing that everything seemed to be in a huge rush. He frowned, following after the man that welcomed him. After how much the facility seemed to be rushing, he wordlessly nodded to the greeter when presented a room, and went inside.

Jeremy's eyes widened just a little at the sight of the nurse. He paused for a moment, obviously a little stunned at first, before going to where he was supposed to stay. He knew she was too old for him, and that he knew nothing about her so there was no real point to it, but he still got a little tripped up by her for a while. As he started going through the tests though, he began to relax, making comments as they went along the lines of 'I thought I was taller than that' or specifically asking her to repeat any results she found if he didn't understand them at first. Eventually, he was asked a direct question about the entire reason he was there, the powers.

Jeremy nodded as she confirmed his name at the start of her question. "Yeah, I mean... I guess I can just move through objects like they're not even there. I guess, to be specific, it's like in a video game, turning off collision detection. Another way to put it is I guess I can act like solid things just aren't solid. How it started though - I guess it started when I went to leave my room one day and I couldn't grab the doorknob. I kept trying and eventually got tired of it, and tried to knock on my door to call for help but my hand went through. I tried walking through and it worked. I thought I was just going crazy, but my family saw it happen a couple times and thought I was doing some magic trick until Hen, that's my little sister, saw me getting mad about not being able to open a cupboard."

Jeremy nodded when the nurse decided it was time for a scan. He followed her instructions, putting on the vest and getting ready for whatever said scan would involve. He didn't suspect a thing as he got into the location for it. Nodding at her saying she was leaving for the scan - he figured there may be some risk involved without the vest - he tried to relax a little bit. This all seemed friendly enough, albeit a little rushed, so maybe he wouldn't hurt anyone after all. He started thinking about animating what happ- bright white, and then nothing.

"Jeremy, dinner time!" Jeremy set down his tablet, he had been modelling a man in a suit who he was pretty sure he saw in some show. He opened the door, heading down the stairs and glancing to his father who was leaning out of the kitchen to make sure he was coming. "Jeremy, stop that and get in here. Jeremy was confused for a moment before realizing everything seemed higher up. He looked down at his feet, seeing only his legs sticking out of the ground "I'm not... How..." He reached out to his dad who frowned at him. "Jeremy, stop showing off your freaky powers and get in here!" Jeremy was shocked for a moment before a bit of anger boiled up, "I'm not doing it on purpose, help me!"

Just as Jeremy reached out to his dad once more, everything flew upwards around him, throwing him into pitch black and he couldn't breathe. He tried grasping onto something, anything, but found himself unable to reach. Panicking, he reached up once more, only to find himself grasp something, and pull himself back up, finally gasping just a bit of air. "Are you all done showing off?" Jeremy felt an uncontrollable rage as he pulled himself out of the ground, stepping closer to his father who seemed to already know what was going to happen. "I almost died, and you think I was showing off!?" He reached out his hands, gripping around his own father's throat, unable to control his rage. His father tried to push him off, but couldn't touch him. "You call me a freak for going through things, you get mad at me for not controlling it, well how do you feel when I can't control myself, huh!?" He could feel his dad beginning to thrash against his grip before suddenly waking with a jolt.

Jeremy panted a little bit before looking around, finding himself in a white room. It was just a nightmare, but- where am I? He looked at the ceiling, the walls, anything he could find, but there was just the room, an opening into what he assumed was a larger room, and another boy. He was tempted to talk to the boy, but he wanted to know specifics of what was going on more than anything, and why would anyone with a black jumpsuit and a collar know anything about this. Well, he'd check soon, but for now, he double-checked himself, he was wearing the same outfit as the other boy, including the collar. He'll know just as much as I do, I bet. Unless he's been here longer, but if he has, then checking out the surroundings won't lose me any chances. I should find my phone, I think I'm going to need to call a lawyer.

Jeremy got out of his bed, walking into the other room and noting everything there until he was interrupted by a girl shouting. He cringed slightly, looking over and seeing a musician and someone else. Isn't that Ai? A big popstar that had a huge scandal about an assassination attempt... what's she doing here? He looked between the girl and child and the showers, now knowing this whole thing was too good to be true. "Hey, I don't want to interrupt, really, but waking up in a weird room like this with new clothes and a collar... Kinda makes me worried. Either of you have any idea what's going on? And are you just a lookalike, or are you actually Ai?"

[fieldbox=Ellodi | Unknown, rgb(255,153,153), dotted]

Upon arriving at the island, Ellodi masked her distaste so as not to negatively impact the days of the ordinary government officials doing their jobs. Appreciating the omission of her first name, she smiled and politely thanked the man who greeted her, putting in extra effort to ensure that she stood out in a positive light to this man, may he be relevant to her future or not. The fact that he was quite handsome helped her along ever so slightly, his formal yet attractive appearance motivating her. She was only human, after all. Even with all this uproar about the 'others' turning insane.

When introduced to the kind nurse, Ellodi complimented her looks that day and politely complied with all of her initial tests. No need to take out her feelings on this nurse, she told herself. When brought the question of her abilities, she sighed slightly and responded, "Yes... empathetic abilities, such as I can tell what people are feeling more than just naturally. It started happening when I was trying to comfort some of my friends, I reached out to them and it was like I was holding their hearts in my hands. I also think I may be able to influence emotions as well. Once I heard a baby crying, and I tried to soothe it and it began laughing. I tried it a couple more times from a distance in cafes around the city I lived in, and the babies, though never having interacted with me, started giggling at their mothers. It made me feel quite good, actually." She spoke her last sentence with satisfaction and pride, making a subtle personal statement against their operation. Ellodi complied regularly for the scan, passing into unconsciousness.

Ellodi's dreams took her to when she entered the facility. Past the nurse and the escort and the other staff, she walked alone through the clean white halls, devoid of any other life. Her mind planted the seeds of color everywhere in the hallway- her creativity lurching at the possibilities of creation. She imagined these colors twisting and spinning into lights, flashing and changing as they do in the clubs she so regularly visited, a pulsating beat growing louder as people started growing out of the ground like flowers, their dimensions paneled as if they were assembled of broken sea glass. They drank from invisible cups and pumped their fists in the air toward Ellodi and danced to the beat. "Is this what it's like to be on psychedelics?" She mused aloud, her dream playing out around her as if she was the star of it all. Her home had come to visit her, it seemed. Unfortunately it isn't the time for this, she sighed, waving away her dreamed up party. She was alone again. Back in the void white hallways where the lights shone too harshly and footsteps echoed lonesomely.
She turned around in her own bleakness, but was unexpectedly greeted by an agitated red figure a while away. "Ellodi!" The figure called out. All of the sudden it was running towards her, but it's legs taking it nowhere. "Ellodi! Is that you?" It drifted closer at a slower pace than it's running should have allowed it. "Ellodi!" The red fog cleared and a familiar face stared back at her with a distressed expression. It was Asuka. What is Asuka doing here? She willed herself to wake up, her candy red eyes fluttering open, and as she did so the whines of her famous friend became more apparent. "These bastards put me in this ugly monkey suit! Put me in a bunk bed like some animal! They even took my phone!" Ellodi's first groggy reaction was to sit up calmly, reach out to Asuka, and pull her in for a hug. She rubbed her back soothingly, trying to calm her distress and return her to a level mind. "Don't worry," She yawned, putting together the bits of context clues she had as she spoke in a level tone, "They're meant to help us here, and it seems like such a lucky thing that we ended up here together, right?" She pulled back and gave Asuka a relaxed smile, getting up and stretching. About to ask her friend about what she knew already, a male voice cut her off. She looked up at the brunette in the same black jumpsuit and collar that she- collar? Hold on a moment.

Ellodi reached to her neck and started feeling the piece around her neck. She frowned. "This seems somewhat inhumane. I don't remember consenting to this." Would her parents really have gone that far? It didn't make sense to her, but, there were other people wondering what was going on as well, so that meant she wasn't alone. After her few moments of thought, she looked back to the boy questioning Asuka and her. Speaking with the voice of a young woman, slightly odd for her appearance but calming in nature, "I'm afraid I have no clue what's happening."

[fieldbox="Rustin, #ff0000, dashed, 10, Tahoma"]

Rustin stretched as he was walking off the ship, the voyage tiring him out. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes with one hand, yawning as he did so, his red duffle slung over his shoulder. He figured the time in rehab wouldn't be too long, only packing a weeks set of clothes, and a baseball or two to pass the time. The man in the suit approached him in the middle of his yawn. "Mrhmm? Ah… umm thank you?" He said, not really used to the formality of it all, letting the personnel take his duffle. As the man walked away without another word, Rustin shrugged and buried his hands in his jean pockets, following the suit through the island. He looked around as he wandered along, studying the view as he went. Spinning as he walked, he looked back at the pier, the sun hitting the shifting water. Hm. Beautiful horizon. I'll see it again though. And that next time I'll be different. A smirk dashed across that freckled face of his. As they approached the plain building Rustin's eyebrows raised, "Not much for aesthetic are you guys?" No response. Not much for humor either I guess.

After winding through the hallways for what seemed to be years, they finally reached the room. The Russian blonde introduced herself and Rustin blushed a bit. Please no full physical. Please no full physical. The tests went smoothly, Rustin sitting quiet the whole time, save for his leg bouncing up and down as he waited for this all to be done with.

She asked her first question, Rustin nodding in confirmation of his name. "Yeah… super speed y'know. Like 'nyoom'" he said, using his hand to motion forward. "I just… run really fast. It kind of started out as just a uh… twitch, I guess? It'd happen every now and again, like when I'm brushing my teeth, or tapping my pencil on my desk" he looked to the side "lost a few pencils doing that. Didn't think anything of it until I raced one day then… well I'm here now so you can guess what came next."

The Russian folded her hands, then began prepping the scan. "Scan? As in like… Brain scans? Bone scans?... CAT scans?" She explained further. "Oh…" As she draped the vest over him, the weight felt nice, almost comforting. Cold, but not freezing. Wait… She said brain and body… then why cover the body? As she stepped out Rustin followed her with his eyes. Oh you can leave as much as you want… I should be ashamed but that can wait until la- The bright flash filled his world and his thoughts in an instant, only to leave him floating in the dark.

The dark showed him pictures of the past, his blue stone necklace the first time he saw it, and the smile his grandpa had as he put it around Rustin's neck. "There you go young man. Now remember, everytime you get in a pickle, or any kind of situation that puts you against the wall, just breathe and rub that stone." The scene in front of him changed, warping and blurring before him, his mind just a single drop in an ocean of memories. The smell of the dirt on the field, the warmth of the track as he set up. Then something more. A shock of white hair the same color as his lighter, the sound of a girl speaking softly…

Rustin's eyes opened quickly. He realized he was no longer in the exam room. Must've fell asleep I guess… just like my wisdom teeth operation… He groggily sat up, rubbing his eyes. "Where…?" he looked around the room, seeing that he was no longer alone, three others in the same room with him, two guys and another girl, all in jumpsuits and with a collar around their necks. The hell are they wearing? "Hey… you guys forming a band or something…?" he said.[/fieldbox]

Asuka 'Ai' Maki | Unknown

As Ellodi awoke, likely a direct result of her desperate shaking and immediately pulled her into a hug, Asuka took a few deep breaths. Forcing herself to calm down a bit, stop freaking out over the loss of such things as her phone. She hugged her friend back, both saddened and happy at her presence. It was good to have a friendly face around, but Asuka desperately wished to have run into Ellodi anywhere except here. The girl was a huge sweetheart, and she hated the very thought that there might be something wrong with her. Holding the hug for a few moments, she eventually let go and took a step back. "Thanks, Ellodi, I needed that."She said in a truly thankful tone.

She was about to comment on how it did seem some cruel stroke of fate to put them in here together. However, a male voice cut the thoughts off, mentioning a collar. The girl straightened up, her hand feeling around the tight collar, then the rod going from the collar into her neck. She froze, blinking twice as she tried to process what this could mean. It certainly was not something they mentioned going into this. Turning towards the final arrive with a stupified look, Asuka spoke in a rather irritated tone. "Yeah, definitely. I go to some facility for being a freak, get knocked unconscious, then wake up with collars going into my skin. But my first thought was definitely, 'Hey, let's form a band with a DJ and some guy I don't know! Certainly, you're in it as well, seeing you are wearing the same collar and jumpsuit!' " She growled, before turning towards the first boy who had spoken. Nodding towards him, she spoke in a more polite tone. "I am, yes. You would be doing me a huge favor if you didn't talk about me being here after all this is handled." She said, before seeming to think about something for a moment.

"I don't like it either. The collars, and jumpsuits. I mean, I get why I might need something, but Ellodi is too much a sweetheart to be dangerous! Either way, its outright inhumane of them to do this to us. I think we need to demand to be released. I'll take care of that." She said, and without so much as another word started pushing past the others into the main room. Turning this way and that as if she was expecting to find somebody waiting. Stomping her foot angerly, she yelled out at nobody in particular. "Hey! This is inhumane! Wrong! I demand to get released, I demand my lawyers! You have no right to do any of this to me, or them! I'll have this damn place shut down, do you know who I a-" She yelled, before suddenly cutting off into a high-pitched shriek of pain as she fell and started convulsing on the ground for a few seconds. Grasping desperately for the collar as tears fell freely from her eyes, and a burning pain ripped through every nerve within her body, centering from the collar she wore.[/fieldbox]

Klark Graeme | Lead Doctor | Gabriel Research and Rehabilitation Center

Sitting back in his chair, the man watched the new patients... no, subjects, start to awaken in their little cage. Raising an eyebrow, he watched the little popstar throw a little fit and start shaking another. So they knew each other? Interesting. Knowing both of their profiles, he wondered if perhaps they were linked in more than one way. Then the two boys entered, followed by some insignificant squabbling among the group of subjects. Watching the display with only mild interest, the doctor was thinking of ways to address the little group. How he hated not making a clear statement in situations such as these, oh especially when dealing with those creatures. But something on the display grabbed his attention, noticing the bratty little popstar entering the main room and starting to shout, demanding to be released. A manic grin spread across his lips, how kind of the girl to give him exactly what he needed at the moment. A way to make a statement. Without so much as a moment's hesitation, he calmly pressed in a command on his keyboard.

Watching in silence as the girl collapsed, shrieking in pain from the powerful shock being sent straight into her nervous system, the doctor showed no sign of emotion. These things deserved to suffer, especially when they annoyed him such as this little brat had done. After a few moments, thinking the group had gotten the message, he issued a command to stop her punishment. Instead, this time scooping up a small microphone and holding it near his lips. He would begin to speak, his voice being broadcast directly into the room as his newest subjects. "How unfortunate, having to do that so soon. Alas, it will at least serve as an example for the rest of you. Before we begin, allow me to introduce myself. Klark Graeme, I am the head doctor here at Gabriel." He said calmly, his voice coming across as a commanding tone as if he were somebody that was not to be trifled with. "Now then, pay attention. During your time here at Gabriel, you will obey our every order. I'm sure you have noticed something seems off about this place, so allow me to clear things up. This facility is not to help you be part of society once more. There is nothing which can save your kind and nothing which can make you remotely human." He spoke in a calm tone, pausing his monologue to take a sip of water before continuing.

"Instead, we will... learn about you. You will do our bidding, and serve to make our world better for the humans who rightfully own it. Should you disobey, use your powers out of turn, and do anything other than complete compliance with our orders. Then the collars on your neck will... well," He said before entering the previous command into his keyboard. On the display, the popstar began once more trashing violently about in pain. Begging for mercy, for somebody to help, for the pain to end. This time he held the command for a long bit, watching as she cried and pleaded before releasing it. The girl whimpering in pain and retreating away from the door like a dog with her tail tucked between her legs. "Your collars are each equipped with charges. Should you act out of turn, I or one of the guards shall activate that until we feel like you've served your time. Furthermore, we will also punish one of your friends for your behavior." He said, calmly entering in the key for Ellodi's collar for a long few moments before stopping it. "Use your powers, and the collars activate a different mode automatically. A charge will be released into your spine, enough to sever the connection and paralyze you from the waist down. Which I've also proven prevents a large majority of your powers. Then you will watch as it fries one of your friends nearby to death. Do I make myself clear? Behave and you won't need to suffer." He said, continuing as if he hadn't tortured the two girls in the room for almost no reason at all.

"Now, I encourage all of you to become familiar with your surroundings. Meals are served three times a day to your rooms, and we will come retrieve for treatments, or whatever the likes we need. During that time you are under constant surveillance." He said, before thinking of one last tidbit to add in. "Oh, and before you get any ideas. While we cannot watch the bathroom, your collars go into an alert state the moment you enter. Any marginal spikes, and they activate the kill protocol immediately. Stay for more than 10 minutes, and they activate the kill protocol. Think wisely. My assistant will be watching over all of you while I can not. Get some rest, subjects, you've got a long day ahead for tomorrow." He said before disconnecting the communication link. Turning towards the projector to his right, he gestured towards the little girl made of an eerie greenish light. Numbers running down her face and dress. "Lockdown. They will not act out or do anything out of line. You have full control and authorization. Bellona, feel free to do as you wish with them." He said, to which the girl of light responded in a monotone, digitized voice. "Yes, Father. Protocols engaged." Before vanishing from the platform. Moments of silence fell over the room before the doctor's second in command spoke up. "Sir, you know what they say about playing God, right? Just be careful with these things, who knows what they could do." To which the doctor gave a simple reply without so much as casting a glance in their direction.

"That would require me to be playing at such a game. To them, I AM God.

[fieldbox="Rustin, #ff0000, dashed, 10, Tahoma"]

Rustin glanced down at his own jumpsuit and collar, "What in the …" I'm wearing different underwear. "Wait. Collar?" He felt the cold device around his neck, a chill running through his body. He stands up from his bed, beginning to walk over to the group. Rustin absent mindedly reached for his blue stone necklace instinctually, but when his fingers failed to feel the smooth glossed stone his heart beat rose in his chest. He spun around to the bed to see if it had fallen off on him, eyes searching frantically only to find the monotone coloring of the bed sheets. Breathe Rustin. Breathe, a voice called through his mind. Just bre- the voice cut short as the girl's shriek pierced through. His panic evolved into fear and nothing but his own heartbeat filled his mind. Everything he saw and heard blurred in front of him, his breaths shallow. The girl's convulsing body the only thing he could see, just a writhing mass of hair and limbs. What do I do… what do I do… Then he heard it. The cold tone of a man, distorted through the speakers he couldn't see."There is nothing which can save your kind and nothing can make you remotely human" Your kind? The fear and panic subsided, only slightly, just enough to make room in his mind for rage. The girl who convulsed before began again, the only thing he could do was stare as she writhed again, his fists clenching. Then the white haired boy began to convulse, and it was only then that he realized there was no fighting this. Not yet… "Oh, and before you get any ideas. While we cannot watch the bathroom…" too modest to watch us shit huh? "…More than 10 minutes, and they activate the kill protocol… my assistant will be watching… while I can not." Once the room became silent again Rustin moved towards the white haired boy, "Go help the girl. Make sure she can walk and breathe." He gestured towards the other boy as he said this. "Are you alright man?"[/fieldbox]
