I had most of a post all typed up but I relied too much on the Save Draft feature, and now it's gone. I will start working on another draft of my post soonish.

:< Yeaaaaah the draft-saving on Iwaku isn't a very trustworthy feature...

If you want to be able to save your drafts (which is always a good idea), then I recommend writing your posts in Word or Google Docs (or any other word processor of your choice) and copy/pasting it over to Iwaku when you're finished.

UPDATE: Apollo is so embarrassed by this act of mutiny that he will literally blind anyone who plans to just stand around and watch.

Does getting a camera and streaming the whole thing to the internet for the sake of getting more followers journalism count as "just standing around and watching"?

Well, we all know if you want to convince someone of something you call them something that is probably racist and then tell them their existence is worthless. And then threatening to send them to hell.

Real Smooth.

She tried being nice. She tried gently nudging. And all that accomplished was that it prompted Victarion to mock her. And she's already sick of being mocked. (Oh, and it doesn't help that his general personality really isn't sitting well with her.)

And, yeah, if this was a mortal-to-mortal conversation, then what Diana said probably wouldn't have been a very effective method of persuasion. But since she is in a significant position of power over him...

Well...

Is Victarion really in a good position to anger her further? XD

(And besides, she never said that his existence is meaningless. Just that his life as a mortal is such a short span of time compared to eternity, so it would be wise for him to invest in having a good eternity. :P )

Is that a challenge?

Theoretically I suppose I could still find a way to work Victarion into the main plot even if he's dead, but...

...Also, I almost forgot that I was supposed to write a post here too. Let me get on that.

Durr.... RIP my inspiration. I'll try to get a post out tomorrow >_<.

By the way, @An Otaku @AnimeLover_Princess how far away are Dust and Zito from the rest of the group? And @Kagayours , would Alicia be able to hear them crashing into one another and whatnot?

I suppose that depends on how far away they are. o3o

But I guess it would be reasonable for Alicia to hear them if they're close enough. Other characters have already been able to hear Zito talking, at least.

Dust hadn't started out that far from Walter to begin with, and yeah, like Kaga said. If someone could hear Zito then everyone probably heard the fumble. Or maybe not.

"Must've been the wind..."

A beautiful, detailed world where there are no minimum length in post size? Where have you been my whole RPing career? That said, I'm about to go into class and thought that I should let you know that I am most definitely interested and will be joining once I get home.

If you don't have any solid character ideas yet then I would love to see a Pyran.

I really don't want to pigeonhole you into this or anything but it feels weird to not have any Pyran characters.

My lecturer is totally not putting me to sleep, so here:

Name: Sateria Ah-vule
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Race: Pyran
Persuasion: Pentacle
Element: Fire
Zodiac sign: Leo
Appearance: Sateria's skin tone is such a deep red, that it is difficult to tell if she is bleeding, something she is very proud of. She also has a slight hourglass shape, despite her mother's attempts at getting her to eat more, and uses this to her advantage [see bio]. Long black hair instead of short.
Weapons/other combat abilities: Two handed mace – she likes to act like a tank and just hit widely. It is not a good battle unless she comes out bleeding.
Bio: Sateria comes from a wealthy pyran family from Pyros and is well educated as her family believed it would help her better defeat her enemies. She is very self-centred and does not do anything unless she sees personal gain, whether it be pride or money. Once her mind is set on something, she will do anything to get it done. She sees herself as above everyone, humans in particular, and uses human weakness for the female body, and her own shape, to manipulate men – hence why she refuses to eat enough to gain weight.
Sateria is originally from Agnai but made her way south east to look for adventure. She ended up in Atvance after a particularly long journey to take a break. That was at least two months ago.

Name: Zaul (Zay-uhl)
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Terran
Persuasion: Cups
Element: Earth
Zodiac sign: Aquarius
Appearance: Zaul is very small for his age and is, in fact, an albino. He is always seen in a black cloak and has his head shaven at least once a month.
Weapons/other combat abilities: Zaul is not a fighter. He's more of a healer, however, he does use his earth magic to create traps or protect allies from unseen enemy attacks. He will refuse to hurt an enemy, however.
Bio: Zaul was abandoned as a child and he believes it is due to his albinism. He does not care, though, and is glad to have been abandoned at a monastery where the monks took him in and raised him as one of them.
Currently lives in Ilbea and is often out collecting herbs and offering just outside of the city.

Ehhh, just how much of an "hourglass" figure are we talking, here?

Because I have a hard time picturing a skinny female Pyran, for the same reasons why I have a hard time picturing a skinny Snorlax. Having a lot of girth is just part of their natural body shape. I don't think that a female Pyran could hold herself to a human-standard level of skinniness without becoming literally anorexic.

And... theoretically I guess you could play an anorexic character. But I think that her self-starvation would seriously impact her fighting ability. Or just her stamina levels in general.

You could say that she's slim by female Pyran standards and that would be a bit bulkier than what comes to mind when I hear the term "hourglass figure". I think the slimmest that she could get without being severely malnourished would be... "celebrity fat". You know, like, Meghan Trainor's body shape.

As for the persuasion -- yeah, I see why you're torn on that. I'll think more on it later and get back to you on it.

One thing we still need to work out for both characters is how they would cross paths with the rest of the party.

@Demmy As for whether Sateria is wands or pentacles -- I'd say it depends on whether she's motivated more by pride or by material gain.

Also, does she ever act impulsively? Is she one to trust her gut instinct? Is she not easily discouraged? These are all wands things. Pentacles are motivated by personal gain (and especially material gain) not because it gets their inner fire going but because it's just the practical thing to do.
